Good Morning ! I now have hopey for some changery again 😀

Sweetest victory: Mia Love who singlehandedly defeated the War on Women and Racism 😀

Still too close to call in VA. Had the Libertarian not run, Gillespie would be slightly ahead right now. As I type, he still hasn’t conceded.

The Obamas and Clintons didn’t help their candidates much. No fried chicken for you !!

Man, did you see the Governors map !? When it scrolled on my newsfeed, I was blinded by the RED.

Now the real work begins. The Repubs have to prove they can govern to right the ship.

Obama having a press conference this afternoon. Meanwhile, this morning’s PDB must resemble one of those “Hitler” videos. 😀

Yes, what an important and significant time but our leaders now have to put forth some really good programs. One that is especially being overlooked is an urban policy effort to breathe new life into some of our desperate urban areas. If the Republicans were to lead that effort, they would gain huge support from minority groups. If I had any Republican say at this moment in time, I would push for Mitt Romney to devise a program for the renaissance of Detroit!

Those racist misogynist Republicans! First black Republican congresswoman, first female combat vet in the senate, youngest congresswoman ever elected, 18 year old woman wins seat in West Virginia’s statehouse. And all in one glorious night!

This was my favorite victory of the night. I do believe she is also the first politician of Haitian ethnicity to be elected to Congress. Checking on that.

I’ve spent about 11 days in Iowa during the last month (helping on the farm and then for a funeral) – just got back on Sunday … the ads were nonstop…. I couldn’t wait for the results to come in — hoping Joni Ernst would win and she did not disappoint !!
