    • The Klown says:

      He’s eating/drinking a little bit.

      • DeniseVB says:

Good. How are the other kitties? Do you have canned tuna on hand, some chicken? It sometimes helps to wave in front of them. Also, keep a jar or two of strained baby food meats to rub on the roof of their mouths to stimulate appetite. It’s been awhile since I worked vet, but raise his lip, how pink are his gums? Pull up his neck fur, if it doesn’t snap back, could be dehydrated. Best rule, kitty stops eating/drinking/peepooping for 24 hours, please visit Dr. ❤

Twitter’s on fire now too. I hope Sharpton’s feeling the burn. His PR is in the gothamist link.

So you don’t like cops? Funny thing. You’re gonna see a bunch more, that way.

    • DeniseVB says:

I get pounded every time I post on Gothamist, I’m so tempted to tell them to pull their pants up for the next couple of months, but I still have presents to wrap 😉

  6. DeniseVB says:

For a musical interlude, my unofficial hometown anthem. I always wondered what happened to her, she certainly captured the spirit of Brooklyn, where cops were part of the neighborhood and family……

  7. DeniseVB says:

The comments on the Gothamist link above are worth a view ….. with a bottle of your favorite spirits of course 🙂 NYPD sent out a notification to Mayor DiBlasio to stay away from officers’ funerals a few weeks ago after he threw them under the bus…..this is the first challenge 😉

  8. HELENK3 says:

on FOX there is about to be a news conference on the shooting. the Police Commissioner and the mayor. this should be interesting.

as for the “rev” al two more killings that he is responsible for causing with his race baiting

  9. The Klown says:

I was so disgusted with some of the comments I was seeing on Twitter that I had to go offline for a couple hours.

  10. WMCB says:

Looks like they were a Hispanic and an Asian.

  11. The Klown says:

    • I anticipated this. My first thought was that NYC would immediately become a war zone.

It’s been interesting watching Twitter. Progressive agitators are in a defensive crouch, acting like somebody stole their fucking teddy bear. They’re saying this man didn’t represent the movement. He probably doesn’t, but he was definitely provoked by it.

    In case you missed it….

    • Mary says:

It was Al Sharpton’s group that chanted “What do we want?” “Dead cops.” “When do we want it?” “Now” while marching in Brooklyn.

So, f*ck off, Sharpton. YOUR group. ahole.

I used to work in Penn Station NYC. The police there were great both the railroad cops and the NYPD. someone placed a bomb in the luggage room above where I worked. It was disabled by the NYPD bomb squad. I owe them my life

  20. swanspirit says:

Eric Holder issued a statement , and maybe it is just me but I detect more than a whiff of victim blaming in this last bit.
    http://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/attorney-general-holder-statement-assassination-two-new-york-city-police-officers-line-duty

“Our nation must always honor the valor — and the sacrifices — of all law enforcement officers with a steadfast commitment to keeping them safe. This means forging closer bonds between officers and the communities they serve, so that public safety is not a cause that is served by a courageous few, but a promise that’s fulfilled by police officials and citizens working side by side.”

    YMMV

    Sucks being the NYC Mayor…..

I wondered how MoveOn would react to having this petition on their site. Then I saw the top of the page.

“MoveOn volunteers reviewed this petition and determined that it either may not reflect MoveOn members’ progressive values, or that MoveOn members may disagree about whether to support this petition. MoveOn will not promote the petition beyond hosting it on our site. Click here if you think MoveOn should support this petition.”

    http://gotnews.com/breaking-cop-union-tells-nypd-arrest-necessary-stand/

cop union tells NYPD arrest only when necessary. stand down

    • DandyTIger says:

Smart move. Go in larger numbers, only arrest when absolutely necessary (as in the life of the police is in danger), and otherwise stand down. It’s not safe for the police as it is and the political leaders are against the police. They have no choice.

  26. Over at DailyKos in a top-rated wreck-list diary, the pimps are pushing their signature issues, so it has devolved into an argument over whether or not this is an issue of 1) gun control, 2) domestic violence, 3) police brutality comeuppance, and/or 4) VRWC.

    Just. WOW.

  27. WMCB says:

  28. Kathy says:

I can’t imagine the sharpton’s of this world not foreseeing this sort of thing happening. How naive and stupid they are–not naive, craven, low life scum.

  29. DandyTIger says:

The comments I’m seeing over on progressive sites and among Obot friends is amazing. Some at least are trying to dampen down the crazy. But there’s a lot of crazy. From what I looked through, it’s about 75% police brutality comeuppance and 25% gun control. And a pretty good handful of very, very happy progressives.

  30. DandyTIger says:

The race and riot baiting from some quarters, and sadly from some political leaders, is what lead to this. The shooter was likely a nut case and not stable, but he clearly was encouraged and baited into these actions from “representatives” of the black community, and many popular and political leaders. Those leaders knew this would happen. And I think were hoping this would happen. They hope this will give them even more power in the end. As with all things, follow the money and power. See who benefits in the end. Gun control? More police power? Federalizing local police? More centralized power?

    • swanspirit says:

Exactly. This was more than predictable , and the major instigators are not worried about collateral damage. It doesn’t touch them, and it suits their purposes.

  31. WMCB says:

Aaaand, DeBlasio”s press secretary is scolding……

    wait for it……

….THE POLICE for “overheated rhetoric.” You can’t make this shit up. The left’s arrogance knows no bounds.

    • Mary says:

I’m reading on several websites that some people in the crowd around the dead officers in the police car were clapping, cheering, and yelling, “They deserved it.”

Dear God, what Obama, Holder, and Sharpton have done to our country.

  34. mothy6767 says:

Wonder what the financial impact is going to be on the city. Are people going to drive in from Long Island or Jersey to see a show with their kids if they are going to be harassed. These vile cretins are shutting down Time Square. The days after 9/11 I went from making 250 a night to sometimes 25. I had to live on credit. Most dishwashers busters do not have a line of credit to survive on. 90% are unskilled minorities. The owners will have no choice but to let people go. Like OWS driving little sandwich shops under. Hard working people lost their livelihood so kids could throw a hissy fit. And who in God’s name goes 100 thousand in debt to earn an MSW. They make tops 38 0it of college. If you are such a special snowflake that you get into Columbia or NYU shouldn’t your superior brain let you know that a 500 dollar student loan payment is not doable. NYC has the CUNY system. Six years getting a Masters at Hunter costs as much as one semester at NYU. Hunter College also has the Hunter schools. The preschool and high school are among the most competitive in the world. So if you are inclined to be a social worker you get practical experience going with a city school. All the resources of Manhatten are at your finger tips. NY U might have cache but the education will be limited a professor at Columbia does not know Ramen noodles can be a staple. Has never bought two cheeseburgers at McDonald’s and used the beef to feed six as spaghetti. I took two classes at Hunter that were related to foster kids. I did not visit homes you have to have a license for that but I did go over scores of paper work. So many lies. Standard forms ask the same question over and over again. Players gonna play. Different answer each time. Foster care and half way houses are big business. Entire industries set up around them. Somebody goes to a a 28 day program and then wants to go to out patiently way house it is automatic approval. They bill Medicaid 170 an hour for a 12 step meeting 170 per person per hour. Random piss tests that cost a fortune fees for van driver. Still cheaper than prison and some lives might be salvaged but it is such a scam. Thing is New York State has a bunch of rehabs that cost 12 dollars per day. Making one’s bed in the morning seems to be the most important thing. Assume it has something to do with organization. Lives were a mess so start the day off with order. There are two treatments offered 12 steps or REBT. I like REBT but it seems to only work for early stage addicts. Very simple it stands for Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy. Also known as common sense. 12 steps cost nothing and REBT only requires a facilitator. The Salvation Army has a men’s only program that costs 112 per day housing meals therapy. New York state throws hundred of millions away and I was just a clerk but I could see the figures. I was told to shut up. I think it is important that we treat rather than criminalize I just think it should be done the right way. Throwing money at a problem does not fix it. More money requires more money next year. I attended a bare bones Catholic school but I did well enough on standardized tests that college was free. I want my baby to have a car and enjoy college life. Does not mean anyone else should pay. I do feel if people cannot handle it there should exist resources. I smoke nasty habit but I do love them. I switched from 7.80 a pack Marlboro Lights to Criss Cross 1.19 a pack cigaros. I put the six and change in her college fund. That is 180 a month. Like 6 billion a year. I have an Mturk account that has earned 5 thousand. It is crowdsourcing but I mostly just fill out surveys and annoy Elitists. I hate shopping so I buy everything online. I use mypoints as a portal and they reward me. I buy a 12 pack of socks brat gets a dollar for college. I get six dollars a month from Bing it goes to college fund. I am extreme. I know it but how else we she do it. She loves the dollar store when she was wee I would carry her every day to buy a balloon. How I taught her colors. We did crafts every Tuesday. Icky brat seeped into my heart. I owe her all I can. Pig fucker father ran into us on her birthday. He had given her nothing but was standing loitering outside he had a full pack of Newports and a monster energy drink. Sod off. He posts on Facebook that it is tough being a single dad. He has never spent a penny.School pictures clothes glasses milk. Nothing ever. He is Al Sharpton. No personal responsibility ever. Sad or pathetic but he believes he is a single father put upon by the world. Suicide is a hobby. Things do not go the way he wants so he resorts to playing that card. Again and again
He cannot read. Almost retarded. Pup is straight A’s. Even with common core. My father sits with her every night to do homework. they never get that much so I bought all kind of books from Amazon. I watch Jeopardy every night but at 7 she starts singing the theme song. She has Tae Kwon Do Tuesday’s and Fridays Jazz, hip hop, gymnastics and ballet on Thursdays. Archery on Mondays acting and voice on Saturdays guitar on Wednesdays goes swimming with my dad on Sundays. I am blessed that I can give these things but you betcha it is annoying to read her father whine about how expensive kids are. He gave her nothing for her birthday. zip zero he was outside a dollar store. Crayons and poster board fills her with joy. I am lucky who gets to be an angry judgemental middle aged h o m o with a great kid.
