Did anyone else watch Justified last night?

  2. DeniseVB says:

Sorry, I fell asleep last night, looks like FNC will keep the Liar in Chief’s highlight reel on a loop today…..

    Vodkapundit’s transcript :

It’s really all you need to know, even if it starts at the end (including Joni’s response….fell a little flat following Obama’s circus act, I guess we needed a more f**k that sh*t response?)

  3. DeniseVB says:

Joni Ernst’s respsonse to the STFU :

    • votermom says:

While I like Joni Ernst, I do not like her delivery style in this speech. Too church – ladyish.

      • piper says:

Sadly I agree about her delivery style here. Wonder if Mitch Mc told her to tone it down.

      • Constance says:

Kind of a Valley of the Dolls Valium tone. I think that probably appeals to the Old Boys in Congress who would find it a proper demeanor for a woman but she was elected to snip their balls not beg for their approval.

  4. DeniseVB says:

This seems to be the biggest story from the speech ….

  5. Lulu says:

The vile progs (I am using the term generically) are losing their shit more and more often. Like watching toddlers who really need a nap, it is going to get louder, crazier, and on everyone’s last nerve before they doze off from hysteria and exhaustion.

    • votermom says:

Impressive that it was impromptu. He’d kill at the 2016 debates.

      • piper says:

Like his style and substance. Would like to see him in the WH one day driving the smug self-righteous progs. crazy. Yesterday I had lunch with a good friend (in her 70s) who informed me that if our Gov. Scott Walker was elected President she would leave and go to Canada. I smiled and told her that even though I didn’t vote for nor care for obama I never considered leaving US for several reasons – this is my home which I love, other countries may have policies and politicians which I don’t agree with and we’ve had good and bad presidents come and eventually go. I refrained from saying that obama was the worst president in my lifetime.

      • Myiq2xu says:

He should run and then drop out early. Get familiar with the faces and places without spending a lot of time trying to raise money. Participate in debates, let people see him up close and unfiltered by the media.

Then go home and wait a few more years before mounting a real campaign.

        • votermom says:

It would be a good strategy but there are two possible derailing risks:
1- media is so intent on the destruction on Cruz that they will pull out all stops to Palinize him right off precluding any future runs
2 – base is so hungry for a standard bearer that he is unable to drop out early or at all

      • Constance says:

A great response. I really feel Cruz speaks for me when he talks. Not Multinational Corporations. Not people from other countries who crash into our country and demand “rights”. Not Citizens who don’t work and provide for their families. That’s what we need is a President who cares about hard working citizens.

  6. HELENK3 says:

oh oh backtrack has a problem. even with those who have their heads so far up his ass are beginning to see the empty space

  7. piper says:

Perhaps Richard Engel found the key to the president’s nearly 7,000-word speech: Obama described the world as he wishes it were, not as it actually is. Indeed, in Obama’s State of the Union, things are going so well that it’s hard to imagine why voters would decisively turn control of Congress over to the opposition party — not that Obama would acknowledge that, either. Doing so would be a concession that something is still terribly wrong.

  8. HELENK3 says:

backtrack to award Iran $11.9 BILLION through end of nuke talks

that better be their assets unfrozen and not our tax money

  9. HELENK3 says:

maybe it is because I saw my first rocket last night but this really hit home

  10. votermom says:

  11. DeniseVB says:

I crack myself up sometimes … Obama’s speech in less than 45 seconds (what’s in my head anyhow…)

  12. piper says:

Who’s really the pig here – vile prog, Luke Russert, saying that Joni Ernst was a pig farmer last year and ………. Luke denigrating a Republican Female Senator in order to revive a (?) scholarly teleprompter reader.

    • DeniseVB says:

Luke got ripped to shreds on twitter over that comment. Joni’s got a stronger resume than Obama.

    • Constance says:

Typical Prog Luke Russert. Earning an honest living farming is apparently something to mock. Joni isn’t an Ivy indoctrinated, snobby, elitist so in his mind she is an idiot. I would love to see ass holes like Luke Russert drafted although I would feel bad dumping a bunch of elitist candy asses on the Military.

  13. HELENK3 says:

    are you kidding me?

  14. HELENK3 says:

    broken promises

  15. HELENK3 says:

    7 years

  16. Myiq2xu says:

As of yesterday, Connor is officially a big boy, at least during the day. His parents are very proud.

And relieved. That is a big moment in a parent’s life when the youngest is potty trained.

  17. votermom says:

Looks like Yemen is about to turn officially into another Caliphate

  18. Myiq2xu says:

  19. HELENK3 says:

    glad to see this.
    Sgt Tahmooressi at speech.
the comments to the article are messed up must be for another article

  20. HELENK3 says:

valjar is asked Why no mention of radical islam

susan rice must have the flu. valjar out on msm to cover for backtrack

  21. HELENK3 says:

how do you get a link to a video that is on facebook but not you tube?
swan sent me the funniest parody of cialis football video. I think you here would like it but I do not know how to post it

    • elliesmom says:

I am sickened by the level of anti-Semitism in the comments to that article. I have several Jewish friends who say it’s becoming dangerous to be a Jew in the US. I thought they were being hyperbolic, but maybe not.

      • DeniseVB says:

U.S. pro-Palestine (anti-Israel) groups have latched on to the Ferguson (anti-police) groups. One big happy family. It’s almost becoming dangerous to be a straight, white woman, married, with children.

  22. foxyladi14 says:

    Talking a trade deal? 😀
