    I never really paid attention to Lady Gaga. Did not get past all the hype and silliness to realize what a great talent she is. She has a beautiful voice. Now I will go to you tube and listen to her.
    On my around the country trip several years ago I stayed at a Hotel across the street from where she was having a concert. All her fans were around. they were crazy but fun

      They call themselves little monsters.

      I remember when Lady Gaga performed on MTV really early on before she was well known. The performance was bizarre and I think she was bleeding fake blood at some point and I remember thinking “who is this transvestite?” Turns out she has some musical talent aside from her stage persona.

      I hope they do. They’re so out of touch as 1000th of 1%’ers living in their elite, gated, guarded, white enclaves. The more they go in these directions, the funnier it is. All of hollywood is a comedy.

      My fondest wish is that the ratings will be so bad it will no longer make sense to air the Oscars. Of course narcissistic Hollywood would never cancel their little circle-twerk….

      That wasn’t the vibrator that was in the Oscar goody bags, perhaps next year. I was shocked they didn’t include some gift certificates for steam douches for the ladies. I guess they figured giving out the certificates for the O-shots, vibrators and condoms was enough.

      I think I’d enjoy O-shots in my vajayjay about as much as I’d enjoy a steam douche. Hollyweird indeed!

      When Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett died at the same time he was included she was not. Only movie I can recall him in was The Wiz.
      Fawcett grew into a mature actress(The Apostle, Extremities). Neither were movie stars but both icons. She developed, grew up battled cancer. He “hung” out with kids and OD’d. The theme from Free My Willy hardly makes him an actor.

      Received a voice mail tonight from the AFLo-CIO regarding tomorrow’s action on making Wisconsin a right to work state. I wondering if they’re calling everyone or just union people which is interesting since I retired from a Minnesota school system when I moved here.

    In September Jeri Wright, daughter of Reverend “God Damn America” Wright, and 12 other Democrats were charged with embezzling $16 million in Federal health grants that should have gone to AIDS charities and other programs for the poor and needy.

    More than one of the defendants had direct ties to President Barack Obama.

    On Friday Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s daughter was found guilty of eleven counts that included money laundering and lying to federal agents.

    On Friday, a federal jury took less than two hours to convict the daughter of President Barack Obama’s controversial former pastor, Jeremiah Wright, of fraud.

    Jeri Wright was found guilty of a fraud scheme that siphoned thousands of taxpayer dollars intended for a not-for-profit work and education program known as We Are Our Brother’s Keeper.

    Prosecutor Timothy Bass said Jeri Wright lied “over and over” and went on a “spending spree” that included traveling to Las Vegas, buying vehicles, and remodeling her basement with cash from the money laundering scheme.

    She was found guilty on all counts.

      Not surprised it happened. Surprised anyone noticed. I have done a lot of regional work and used to get dragged into scoring applications for Ryan White. Grants are often not awarded to the best qualified health care providers because they get so many points for such things as being minority owned/operated/ and a whole host of other non health related factors. Such grants support a cesspool of crappy useless nonprofits set up for the sole purpose of getting federal money with no intention of providing services.
