Wednesday Open Thread – Bibi Edition

Congratulations, Prime Minister Netanyahu. Thank you to the good people of Israel for supporting a leader who will stand up and fight for all the free world while other leaders sit down. The Heartland of America will sleep better knowing Bibi remains the voice of reason and strength in the beautiful nation of Israel; for when Israel is safe, we are safe.

This is what I was trying to post but WP said the photo was too big 😉

  2. votermom says:

I’m so glad & relieved that Israeli voters came to their senses.

    • DeniseVB says:

I went to bed before the results but such happy headlines to wake up too !

    • Constance says:

Kind of makes you think SOMEONE placed misleading info in the media about the inevitability of Bibi’s demise. The Obots look really pissed off in all the interviews I’ve seen.

      • Myiq2xu says:

Mostly they aren’t talking about it publicly, which is a really big giveaway.

        • leslie says:

I just tweeted “my” senator (Durbin) asking him if he had congratulated PM Netanyahu yet. I then tweeted him criticizing his use of the *race car* when demanding a vote on Loretta Lynch as the new AG.

  3. HELENK3 says:

does Netanyahu need to call backtrack first?

I really do not know how I feel about this article. guess that is why I could never be a politician.
giving backtrack more credit than he is worth would turn my stomach. But for the good of my country I guess I would do what is necessary than take pepto bismo

    • leslie says:

The wording of the link makes me angry as all get out. As far as I’m concerned, NO ONE “needs to nod to Obama”.

      • lildoggy4u says:

        The author’s bio says it all;
        Herb Keinon

Keinon has a BA in political science from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and an MA in Journalism from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana

  4. Lulu says:

The exit polling was WRONG! Way wrong. When the US and Israeli media was going all “IT LOOKS BAD FOR BIBI!” I knew the little shit Bots hirelings had rigged the polling. Hahaha. The voters lied, said they didn’t want any disapproval from the assholes taking the polls or said none of your biz leave me alone. The Bot freaks (I am looking at you Paul Begala-get out of Austin!) did drive up the Palestinian vote but it wasn’t enough and took votes from Herzog and other minority parties. What has Bibi delivered to Congress to investigate?

    • DeniseVB says:

Makes me wonder what the petulant child-prezzy will do to get even now ? BO really wants that Iran “deal” soooooo bad, he worries me.

      • Lulu says:

Bibi is more concerned with al Sisi and the Sauds and regional stability after the Bot’s Arab Spring fiasco. The Persians are screwed because they threw in with someone (Bronco) who can’t deliver. No deal now although the Dems will try to go through the motions for the reputation of O. This is as bad as the Syrian Red Line and Putin stuff. A complete failure in Israel in trying to rig their election. All the White House can do for the next two years is hide their mess via FOIA rule rigging and foot dragging. Bibi made the foreign policy prez a dead duck.

    • piper says:

Every country that bambi and his minions have try to or done regime change has resulted in disaster.

    • swanspirit says:

My exact thoughts , the polls could not have been that far off without someone putting their finger on the scales. They tried the same thing they did in elections here, but IT DID NOT WORK, and that is probably why Axehole had such an immediate reaction. I bet he was an advisor and abettor to the attempt to bring down Bibi ; along with Obama and company.

    • Propertius says:

I don’t know about you, Luli, but I *always* lie to pollsters. I’m sure there are plenty of Israelis who do likewise. In fact, if the Israelis I know are representative, I’d expect the phenomenon to be universal over there.

  5. piper says:

Was delighted to hear that Bibi, the fighter, won. Picture the scene last night in obama’s bedroom with ValJar having to scramble to assuage poor widdle POS and his weelings – hope the weed and other meds were to his liking.
After the results were relayed to Kerry, he was seen crying over his ketchup bottle while deleting his congratulatory e-mail to anybody but Bibi.

  6. piper says:

Joe Biden strikes again with his ignorant and bigoted comment about ‘orange’ not being welcomed here.

  7. leslie says:

I brought this up from downstairs: I heard this immediately following the announcement of Bibi’s win…..

Toxic squirrels appear as result of Israeli election. 😉

    • piper says:

Can’t have the press and attention focused on Bibi whom bambi wanted to see gone and out of his hair for his last 2 years in office.

    • piper says:

Poor widdle bambi – his magic touch has vanished and his messianic words / speeches have little effect on thinking people who love their country.

  8. DeniseVB says:

Michelle Obama should be the last person in the worrrrrrrld to lecture Japan on education when their system ranks at the top and ours is ranked much, much lower. She went without her daughters, thought this whole Spring Break trip was with them?

    • leslie says:

She goes to lecture others because her listening skills are impaired. She hasn’t heard one word the US people have spoken to her. It is shameful.

      • piper says:

Narcissism and the need to get away from the won and only who is probably throwing major temper tantrums because his wishes/demands weren’t fulfilled – Bibi is BACK. The WH walls are definitely going to need repainting after they leave which can’t come soon enough for me.

    • HELENK3 says:

      brought this up from downstairs

this is something we had better pay attention to. there is enough blame to go around, parents, kids, teachers, school boards, government all play a part in this. we are cheating our kids and the future of this country

    • piper says:

Wonder if the girls threw tantrums like their Papa and refused to go. Who wants to pal around with their overbearing self-centered egotistical mother during their spring break.
Can you imagine the snarly and surly faces they would project in Japan where good manners and decorum matters.

      • piper says:

Should have nested under Denise’s Japan comment.

      • DeniseVB says:

I think there’s a more fun Spring Break trip they’d rather be on with their friends. As always we’ll have to wait for a tourist to snap a pic to find out where. I know security’s a concern, so they can post it after they’re home safe 🙂

  9. Dora says:

Remember this? Some Hillary supporters I knew back then were absolutely furious at Sinbad. I’ve always thought it curious that the person telling the truth in any situation is the person who inspires so much anger and even hatred.

7 Years Ago Today: Hillary Said She Came Under Sniper Fire in Bosnia, Was Called Out by Sinbad

  10. DeniseVB says:

    LOL !

  11. DeniseVB says:

Obama too busy to call Bibi ? Oh yes indeed …. from Keith’s WHD …..

    • Lulu says:

He did not fill that out. He is a left handed. Notice all the scratch-outs. That is the printing of a very anal female. I should know. I print like that. Learned it in drafting in 1969. But I would never let anything with scratch-outs be seen in public.

    • DeniseVB says:

He only “congratulates” evil people like himself, or Putin 🙂 Obama’s making the news for this, not in a good way.

    • Constance says:

That’s hysterical. What a bunch of Ivy indoctrinated twits. The word parsers actually believe if they don’t say his name he doesn’t really exist!

  12. foxyladi14 says:

Well Obama wasted all those bus loads of people. 😆

    • leslie says:

I know. It made me gag when I saw that. The Art Institute is reaching for $$$. Any way they can. Well, they can have their “new” patrons. I’ll go elsewhere.

      • DeniseVB says:

Does this mean they’ll display Kim’s nude photos as ART ? Kanye is obsessed with his wife’s body to the point of WHERE’S THE FEMINIST OUTRAGE ???

        • leslie says:

O.M.G. What a thought. I will only find out if it’s on local news. I’m not going unless there is some exhibit that is so spectacular that I simply must see it.
I have a neighbor who works there; I’ll ask her. 😉
(But she’ll be too embarrassed to tell me.)

    • piper says:

We’re planning to train down and visit the Art Institute, one of my fav. places Ugh

  16. piper says:

Someone was creative enough to write a song about living under Obamacare.
The song is entitled ‘Obamaville’ and is sung to the tune of Jimmy Buffet’s ‘Margaritaville.’

This parody has original lyrics by Rick White and sung by Jack Anderson.

So sit back, relax, have a drink, listen to the song and laugh… and moan

  17. 49erDweet says:

OK, here’s the word so many TCHers have been waiting for: Yes, that’s right! Auditions for this year’s Oakland Raiderette Spirit Squad will be held Saturday morning, April 18, at 8am.

  18. Somebody says:

OK so why is this not considered racist by the MSM? Why was the interview ignored in 2008?

    • DeniseVB says:

Though she said it could have been worse, he could have been all white…..LOL ! That’s the most racist thing I’ve heard in quite some time.

EPIC! US House Congratulates Netanyahu – Chides Obama

150 House members signed a letter congratulating Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

  21. leslie says:

    Here’s a scary thought:

  22. leslie says:

I don’t know if/how this will appear here, but this is priceless…
