The Sexual Revolution is Over and Men Won

Moe Lane:

Yeah, most of the Right is reacting to this – Hot Air called our collective response “a mix of horror and dark humor,” which sounds about right – but I just wanted to note that the older I get, the more I’m struck by the fact that Left-feminism seems to be more and more determined to create a perfect world for particularly immature seventeen year old heterosexual males. Forget, for a moment, the concept that this company’s imagined first instinctive response by a prospective father to Hi, I might be pregnant would be Let’s get that abortion set up. It’s that this company seems downright desperate to create a culture where having an abortion would have the same moral status of fixing a hangnail.

Yeah, the world doesn’t actually work like that. But ads like these do help counter the propaganda that there’s no such thing as pro-abortion activists, or pro-abortion activism, or a pro-abortion movement. It’s become increasingly clear that there are people out there who have in fact desensitized themselves on life issues in a way that would shock and horrify the very liberals who cheered Roe v. Wade. Which is bad enough; but for the love of everything holy, why is modern left-feminism so determined to sexually reward men for being sex-pigs, instead of functional adults? What good is that for anybody, really?

Maybe that is the driving force behind the current campus rape hysteria – it’s feminism trying to reclaim the moral high ground women of earlier generations occupied.

Today’s feminists and other liberals openly mock the idea of teaching abstinence to kids and telling them to save it until they are married. Kids today (make and female) are encouraged to have lots of meaningless sex with strangers. That’s called “exploring your sexuality.”

I can personally attest that men have benefited greatly from the sexual revolution. There is so much free milk out there it will make you lactose intolerant. No commitment, no responsibility, no worries.

The campus rape hysteria wants to redefine rape so as to relieve women from the bad choices they made. The message we are sending kids today is downright schizophrenic. It’s no wonder they’re crazy.

  1. If this is “victory”, I’d hate to have seen defeat…

Abortion is being normalized like diarrhea or toenail fungus. It is just something that happens and has to be fixed. Or zits. Or split ends. No biggie. Get a haircut. Or a bottle of gunk from the drugstore for your nasty toes. Life is cheap. Nothing matters but convenience and instant gratification.

      Life is cheap.

Sadly, it’s an inconvenience. Seems to me that chasing the next meaningless bright and shiny object now has more significance.

You make a good point about personal responsibility too, pregnancy is preventable and “treatable” before you (generic) miss that first or third period. Up to 20 weeks is 5 months and the proA-activists are still not happy. Pro-Choice should be all about prevention, not termination which should remain safe, legal and RARE ! And sure between a woman and her doctor. Yada, yada, yada…….I think we’re all on the same page with this. 🙂

    pretty much

Sex used to be magical and special because it was intimate with someone you loved (even if was unknown at the time to be fleeting). It bound you together in an adult (often your first) adult relationship. It seems to now mean about as much as taking a shit. And of course with co-ed bathrooms we will get to share that with strangers too. What makes us human is being attacked and destroyed.

      • Constance says:

To me the problem is that sex is being monetized. First by pornographers and media in general selling their brand of “no intimacy needed” sexual arousal to men. Then by prostitutes and their hangeroners. And then the “beauty/fashion” industry telling women they must purchase their sexuality or be alone or even that they have no sexuality unless they have male approval. A price is put on sex and so it loses value. Sex isn’t talked about in magical or sacred terms any more except by the religious fringe like the Duggers (whose show I love).

I haven’t listened to this – I’m at work and will be seeing another group in a minute or two. But it reminds me of the summer in college when I took a “Marriage and Family” course to meet required hours before graduation. The “teacher” said that I would be happier at home cooking for my family than I would be decorating and working. I said that was why he was on his 5th marriage. and I hoped he’d someday come upon a woman who actually felt that way. Otherwise the rest of his attempts at marriage would also be doomed. That was just before I dropped the course. (I also said that he was clearly an expert at getting married. And that one day he’d learn how to stay married.)

Gavin is often intentionally provocative. He’s a regular on the Red Eye show and is even more outrageous there. In this case, he is being as outrageous saying that Tamara Holder would be happier at home with a husband and kids as she is by referring to a newspaper as the “Washington Free Banana” just because it used the same standards for Hillary Clinton that others use when they calculate wage gaps

And men with male genitalia intact, who identify as woman , now have access to what were previously women only functions , with the threat of crying discrimination if denied. Up to and including clothing optional women only events, and bathrooms that children use.

    • Lulu says:

If we all would just crap and pee together everything would be fine! /s/ I have my own bathroom and my husband has his. In 34 years we have never shared a bathroom except for a couple of months and I almost left him over it. Some things are best left mysterious. I happily share everything but my bathroom. No boys allowed except in dire emergencies! Ugh. The horrors! While cleaning his bathroom I wear chemical gloves, a mask, and use tongs to pick stuff up. Then I wash my clothes in almost boiling water. He must turn into some kind of a fiend when he closes that door. And he laughs about this.

    • Constance says:

That is just bull shit. As far as I’m concerned female only events and facilities are for people who do not have y chromosomes. Just because someone doesn’t feel male doesn’t make them a female. They are clearly “other” and the feelings of the “non y chromosome majority” are more important than one “other”.

I do hope they solve this Amtrak mystery soon. The black box should tell them if there was a mechanical failure (new engine, recently delivered) or manually pushed over the speed limit ?

There’s ghoulish predictions about the “Andreas Lubitz of Amtrak” sprinkled through the media comments sections.

    • 49erDweet says:

I’m wondering if “they” want it solved? Are “they” waiting for the engineer to be discharged by his primary care physician and then return from two weeks on the Riviera before “they” sit in awe before him and allow him to tell “them” what he think happened? “They” are looking wussified to the square root.

You know it jumps around a lot. It’s like the Wild West, some parts of that route. Do we need to have a better right-of-way? Can we clear a straight line for this train? How fast can a train go if it’s going like this? [rapidly moves his right hand laterally] […] ”
