How to Stop a Terrorist in 5 Easy Steps

So this happened.

Anthony Sadler and Alek Skarlatos

A couple of US Armed Services personnel and their friend were traveling through France when they stopped a terrorist who had opened fire on the train they were traveling on. The terrorist, a Moroccan man, was armed with an AK-47, nine loaded clips and 300 rounds, a hand gun, and a box cutter. Here’s how our heroes stopped him:

  1. Got trained by the finest military in the world.
  2. Stayed alert & vigilant while traveling, spotting the man as he emerged from the toilet with guns blazing.
  3. Refused to cower in the face of an attack by a whacked out “lone” jihadist hell-bent on murder, mayhem, and destruction.
  4. Tackled the dude without concern for self or death/injury, and beat him unconscious.
  5. Hog-tied his ass until the local authorities and other government response teams could take him into custody.

All in a days work for our military folks. Oh wait, they were on vacation. The American heroes have been identified as Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos (National Guard), and Spencer Stone (USAF). Stone was injured by the box cutter, but his injuries are described as minor. Two other people were also injured. No deaths have been reported.

The alleged terrorist, identified as Ayoub el-Qahzzani, has told police that he just wanted to conduct a robbery, but nine clips and 300 rounds tell another story.

How’s YOUR day going? This is an open thread.

  1. Somebody says:

I don’t understand how this man had guns??? They have such strict gun control in Europe, you know like the progs want here…..gun free Utopia……I just don’t understand.

Bravo to these brave young men!! They exemplify our men and women in uniform.

    • I’ve been reading that he came into France from Syria, where he fought for ISIS. Considering half of England and all of France are currently overrun with illegal immigrants (in a wave like we were last year), it’s within the realm of possibility that he brought his weapons with him.

  2. More on the USAF guy, Spencer Stone.

In hospital, but doing well and in good spirits.

  3. Kathy says:

Yeah USAF–my husband is retired USAF.. Ot, the marines we knew on bases called Air Force personnel Boy Scouts.

  4. Lulu says:

The UK and French (duh) media were all over it late yesterday afternoon. The US media did not want to cover it. It was shameful. Only when they realized everyone was reading the DK, Telegraph or France24 did they bother. The Interior minister went on about “their extreme bravery” etc and our ass press tries to ignore it.

  5. DeniseVB says:

Great story to wake up to, thanks Lola ! Going through my newsfeed, it’s getting mostly foreign coverage and the guys mis-identified as Marines. Then this made me smile:

    • Lulu says:

In an interview with the three uninjured one said “we beat him in the head” until the gunman was unconscious after disarming him. The middle aged Brit started grinning. How non-PC!

    • Lulu says:

NOW WaPo has put the French Interior minister statement up. They realized all the clicks were going to Europe. Asses.

  6. votermom says:

I’m laughing at a comment on daily mail that said something like –
A French train gets attacked and it takes 3 Americans and a Brit to defend it. Typical.

    • Jadzia says:

I was just talking to X about the possibility of something like this the other day (it was on my mind on the train from Paris to Tours that I took on Thursday). It is really shocking that something like this has not happened already. There is NO security at European train stations. If you are going to England (i.e., if you are crossing a real border), there are metal detectors and you send your baggage through a scanner–it’s like going to the airport, pre-9/11. But if you are traveling within the EU, you just hop right on the train. Thank God for those brave American boys–that train was almost certainly packed with moms and kids headed back to France for the beginning of the school year next week. They make me proud to be an American.

  7. DeniseVB says:

    Ouch !

  8. Myiq2xu says:

    • Myiq2xu says:

      The elites sure hate DT

    • DeniseVB says:

How did WaPo describe Obama’s supporters in ’08 ? Derp.

I saw the NYT headline “Trump couldn’t fill the stadium” while ignoring it’s the largest campaign crowd so far. Where else in Mobile can hold 30k ? Or 15k, which was the number of ticket requests they had when then decided to change their venue ?

      • leslie says:

They had to change venues TWICE before getting the stadium. I watched some of the coverage last night. I recall a woman mentioning that MSM would rather cover the “bad photo op” than cover the actual meaning of “having to book a stadium” for the thousands who wanted to hear DT speak. (Might’ve been on CNN or MSNBC) The “host” mentioned that DT “should have booked a smaller place” because the optics of having people having to stand in lines that circled the venue and who couldn’t see the candidate would have been “better”.
These talking “heads” are idiots – idiots. They don’t care about the real message – they care about how it looks. Think “Broadcast News”.

        • DeniseVB says:

I watched Bernie on Cspan waiting for Mobile until I realized they were covering Bernie live while live streaming Trump.

I found myself enjoying Bernie, so much better than HRC’s demeanor. I understand the appeal now. Of course, he’s a whack job (FREESH*T, FREESH*T, FREESH*T) (and will WaPo please explain his “supporters” to me, I’ll wait😉 ). By the time I found the Trump speech, the contrast was amazing. Trump and the crowd were having so much fun, it was inspiring more than informational. (As were Obama’s rallies, but he hadn’t accomplished anything, ANYTHING, professionally in his pre-prezzy years.)

You have to dig, but there’s more info on the DT rally that’s not being reported. Like….

~People started arriving at the stadium in the early MORNING.
~Trump’s arriving airplane did a flyover of the stadium and tipped it’s wing at the crowd when he heard how long many of them had been waiting.
~People drove from other states to be there.

          Fun times !

          • Dora says:

Thanks for that info. All I keep hearing about is how only 30,000 people showed up in a stadium that held 40,000.

          • Lulu says:

I have watched a couple of Bernie’s rally/speeches. He has got it going. I agree with him on several things. Just like I agree with Trump on some and Cruz on some. I am very un-pure. I could very well vote for Bernie in our open primary in March since he is bugging the crap out of the Dems. The media and their hireling keep whining about candidates changing positions. Bernie is the same as he was in 1975 so if that is the main criteria he is the ONE!

          • DeniseVB says:

I thought the same thing in Virginia Lulu. We’re an open primary too and was thinking of voting Jim Webb (if he lasts that long), now maybe Bernie just to send the Dems a message.

      • lyn says:

Yep. Obama attracted the less-educated, mooch Americans. I doubt the “less-educated” Trump’s supporters are mooches.

      • swanspirit says:

Too bad he didn’t have Sarah Palin with him, he would have filled the stadium.😉

    • Lulu says:

Is he talking about the blacks who really like Trump? That is really racist of Thrush. His last name is also a term for a candida infection.

    • votermom says:

    • leslie says:

If you look, the author of this “report” describes herself as a “teller of stories”
      ’nuff said.

    • lizzy says:

They better watch those lower educated whites don’t bite them on the ass.

      • Constance says:

There’s a lot of them. In my white area of Seattle the public High School my son went to only has a 70% graduation rate.
No way does our country need to import barely educated workers, our government institutions breed them. I went to public school and they used to teach vocational skills like drafting (this is Boeing country), typing and short hand and car repair. Now only college prep courses are offered when at least half the kids have no plans to ever go to college.

    • AFVet says:

Less educated Americans put the current POTUS in office, along with corrupt politicians.

    • 49erDweet says:

Err. Wrong section of de souf. Typical prog ignorance.

    • Lulu says:

I watched that yesterday and I don’t think she understood anything he said to her. Someone might could explain it her but I doubt it.

      • DeniseVB says:

Just proves how quick Cruz is on his feet by turning the question around on her. Poor Ms Page didn’t know what hit her. Sigh, celebrity advocates.

        • Lulu says:

She was very much into “my rights, big and small, are more important and special than those of any one else”. She is not really capable of thinking outside of her own little world. And she is “good”. Very young, very juvenile, very self obsessed. And she was put up to this or encouraged to do it without much thought or study of who she was going against again because she is “good” and juvenile and easily suggestible. It was like seeing a chicken run over by a train.

          • DeniseVB says:

I wonder what Page’s position is on Planned Parenthood ? Heh. I’ll always remember her for that gut wrenching scene at the abortion clinic in “Juno” when she decided to keep her baby. I was totally full whack “dancing vagina” pro-choice then, but that scene made me burst into happy tears.

I’m sure she just so happened to be at the Iowa State Fair at the exact same time Ted was grillin’ chops. According to IMdb she’s currently filming a project set in…. Iran? I’m sure location scouts thought Iowa was an apt “Iran”😉

On the upside, Cruz will now be covered in the entertainment news !

          • lizzy says:

Not only did page get grilled-she got smoked. I’m sure she thought Cruz was one of the evil stupid conservatives. She didn’t even feel the train wreck.

      • leslie says:

I watched it as well. I think she understood, but had her talking points/challenges and was unable to successfully “catch” Cruz in her web of words.

        • Lulu says:

Probably. She “understands” hers but I’m not sure she understands much else. Someone told her she is smart and she has never had to argue at this level especially outside of her own circle. She seemed practiced like she was just acting out her “part”. She is young and female so he would be mean to her and she would be calm (almost comatose) and very brave like a martyr reciting her catechism of LGBT higher truths. You can’t do only that in debates or before the Supreme Court.

          • leslie says:

I agree. She absolutely “seemed practiced”. I appreciated Cruz’s demeanor was respectful while he continued to be smart. He did not “school” Ms. Page but addressed her initial question as she attempted to use whatever arguments she had either rehearsed or was advised to use (or both) against him. I like your comparison to a “brave martyr”. But then, I like the way you express yourself even if I (practically never) disagree.

And, let me add, Ellen Page was way over her head in trying to argue with Ted Cruz.

          • Lulu says:

Thanks Leslie! I give her points for trying but deduct for not being prepared. She failed. Badly. She believed the media that he is an mean, ignorant, hick, nut and religious bigot. He just kept eating his sammich like he was in dinner table jabber with a child and she was SO earnest.

    • AFVet says:

I have to give her credit for having the guts to question a master.
She had no idea who she was confronting, or,…she was trying to catch him in a misstatement.
You are way way way outclassed miss Ellen.

      • DeniseVB says:

Perhaps Ellen will remember how respectful Cruz treated her ? He could have easily snapped back like some politicians (cough, Hillary, cough) caught off their guard. Just proves what a class act Cruz is. Also, he knew where the cameras were😉

      • swanspirit says:

I think she had to go look up moral equivalence. I think he pulled her out of the little bubble in which she lives and thinks.

  9. DeniseVB says:

Finally got around to the Daily Mail version of the train attack. No wonder they’re the #1 go to news source for …. the U.S.😉 Here the emphasis is on the cowardly train staff barricading themselves from harms way leaving the passengers to fend for themselves ….

    • Lulu says:

The guys already had their eye on this dude. He must have been a sneaky looking little creep carrying a bunch of junk that clanked like ammo which it was. They “profiled” him. After they disarmed him they punched him in the head until he was unconscious then tied him up with underwear (tee shirts). The older UK guy must have got a few licks in too because he looks WAY too happy.

    • helenk3 says:

the engineer and fireman better barricade themselves away from the gunman or you are going to have one hell of a train wreck that could possibly kill hundreds. this was a HIGH SPEED TRAIN going very fast. It is their job to keep that train from derailing

      • Lulu says:

And weren’t some people jumping from the train? Yikes! They had to get it stopped first.

      • Jadzia says:

I agree, helenk3. The actor who was on the train (the one who hurt himself TRYING TO ESCAPE) has been all over the news blaming the train staff for barricading themselves in, but isn’t it kind of (not completely) analogous to reinforcing the cockpit in the plane? You want the people who know how to drive the train to be able to get it to the station instead of letting the guy take over the controls and ram the train into the next train ahead, or into barricades in the train yard. I know that it LOOKS bad, but it seems sensible to me.

  10. Dora says:

But they will try to stop him.

Lou Dobbs And Panel Impressed By “Trump Phenomenon” – He’s Resonating, Establishment GOP Can’t Stop Him

    • DeniseVB says:

Yeah, the “right” is sure saving the Dems a lot of time, trouble and money by eating one of their own. Keep comparing him to Obama’s “cult of personality” followers, we ain’t buying it. What global empire did Obama create before he was elected? Viva La Difference😉

      • Lulu says:

I think Trump is a better marketer than Axeldouche ever thought of being. I also think they are shocked that he has had political thoughts or philosophy for a long time instead of just being a real estate developer. In a way the Bronco showed Trump how easy it would be for him to do it too only better. And I keep seeing business types saying he is following a “business” plan comparable to various complex business and management systems developed over the years. Trump did go to the Wharton School of Business (one of my uncles went there in the ’60’s sent by an employer and he taught seminars up until the late 90’s) so that stuff would be how he approaches problems or projects. Trump’s plan is better (and they couldn’t figure it out so he got the “jump”) and the rest are flatfooted. A lot is sour grapes that they got played.

      • lyn says:

Obama paved the way for a non-politician to become president, because Obama failed at being a politician too.

      • leslie says:

Although TehOne didn’t actually create it. I think the first ward in Chicago is the “global empire” you’re referring to. /s/
It spreads from the south (Hyde Park) to the north (the “gold coast”) in Chicago. It’s pretty diverse with the wealthiest and the poorest in the city. And of course, the redistricting made certain this was where TehOne would reside. Hence the Rezko mansion.

        • Lulu says:

It seems like they set it up for Trump in retrospect. He is just taking advantage of what is there already. They always ignore or underestimate cause and effect. Always.

        • Dora says:

Trump is a non politician and a builder. How I would love to see Lizzy Warren, voice trembling with rage, point her little finger at The Donald and scream to him – “You didn’t build that”! I dare her. 🙂

          • Lulu says:

He would say “Honey, have you lost your mind?” Or “I did more than on those flea traps you rent to your relatives with bad credit in Oklamoma.” Maybe “Remember that fee I paid you for your opinion on some stuff. It was wrong. Horrible. Really stupid. Here is the cancelled check.”

  11. helenk3 says:

this government’s idea of protecting American citizens is a lot different then mine

    • Lulu says:

It makes you think maybe they should be RICO’ed as a criminal conspiracy. As far as I know bureaucrats are not exempt from criminal conspiracy charges. The Mafia thugs just took orders too and they had to go to jail.

      • helenk3 says:

didn’t they just put a woman in jail for helping in a prisoner jail break? where is the difference in what DHS does and what she did?

  12. lyn says:

The foiled terrorist attack is big in Oregon, because Alek Skarlatos is from Roseburg.

  13. Dora says:

Tancredo: Fox News, Bill O’Reilly Rush To Defend Birthright Citizenship

The author of the citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment, Senator Jacob Howard of Michigan, a close friend of President Lincoln, stated, “[The 14th amendment] WILL NOT, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the government of the United States….”

    • Lulu says:

They also keep saying these children will be “stateless”. That is a lie. The parents’ citizenship confers at birth. They are Mexican nationals or whatever at birth. It is very specific in Mexico’s citizenship laws and every other country. Children of two different nationals born in Mexico would be American/German (or whatever combo mix) dual nationals not Mexican. The same for a kid born in pretty much any other place except the US.

      • DeniseVB says:

The “snowflakes” are so confused over the birthright debate. Some seem to think it’s like abortion to deny babies this “right” and calling out the pro-lifers as hypocrites. I swear, I wish I was making that up.

      • 1539days says:

It’s like all the progs who still talk about Ted Cruz or John McCain because they weren’t born on US soil. If you have a parent from a country, you ARE a citizen, no matter where you were born. Virtually every country has that rule.

Frankly, even if anchor babies were deported, they could come back in 20 years, without the parents. That would take a lot of incentives out of pregnant mothers to endanger their lives to get on US soil.

  14. Lulu says:

“As soon as we saw him, we all ran back there. It all happened really fast,” Sadler told BFMTV.

“He didn’t say anything. He was just telling us to give back his gun. ‘Give me back my gun! Give me back my gun!’ But we just carried on beating him up and immobilised him and that was it.”

  15. helenk3 says:

need to rant for a bit.

I had to get new health insurance in July. My company changed from paying for my secondary to me paying a percentage . I did not mind this at all. then they decided that they would not provide any but would pay a certain amount towards insurance I found. But I had to go through the company they provided to find insurance . Yesterday I went to get the medicine I have been taking for my breathing problem. what used to cost my $15 now they wanted $347. You know I will not be taking that medicine anymore.
may backtrack get a bad dose of coke and pelosi od on botox

    • votermom says:

      Damnit that sucks.
Ideas – ask the dr if there is an alternative med that will cost less?
Or ask manufacturer if they can provide it to you at reduced cost – I know some will if you qualify based on age / income / whatever.

    • lizzy says:

I ask my doctors for samples of expensive medicines. Sometimes they have them.

    • leslie says:

Helen~ the same thing happened to me with my medication (for breathing). I looked up the medication online and saw that a Canadian company called Dr Solve was charging less than 1/3rd of that. I don’t know if that is affordable for you – given that you still have to pay for your insurance (as do I). There are other Canadian drug providers that you could try. I couldn’t change to the drug the insurance/prescription plan would cover due to other health issues. best of luck!

    • DeniseVB says:

You should contact your reps (Congressman and Senators) and let them know! Snail mail would even be better since it will be read! Unfortunately in the age of email blasts, those are pretty much ignored now. My local reps want to hear about things like this from their own constituents otherwise they depend on the media to hear how swell Ocare is.

Also, talk to your pharmacist about your alternatives. Good luck !

  17. Dora says:

Ooooh – I wonder what they were talking about. Hee Hee. 🙂

First on CNN: Biden meets with Warren in Washington

  18. Y’all are probably sick of my DailyKos links, but they are linked up with the conference call / Journolist coordination that Democrats play and have since at least 2008, so watch for this story to come through the pike:

There is nothing to back it up. The author makes reference to “multiple comments” on live stream chats that “heard it,” and then quotes the same anonymous user (identified by number) for all the comments. Another quote in the piece is from alleged local racist Jim Sherotta, a man who has no internet trail at all under that name or James (and thus likely doesn’t exist). That quote is also from, which looks like a site only at a state level. You’re seeing a lot of new sites like that that cascade news in multiple front-page horizontal links instead of traditional vertical linear headlines; Vox is one.

Just noting this, because I think you’re going to see it covered tomorrow or Monday.

    • Dora says:

Oh, I’m sure we will see it covered. Over and over. Whether it really happened or not.

      • I don’t think it happened. At least there’s not any evidence of it. Do I believe some of Trump’s supporters hold racist sentiments? Sure, but the vast majority just seem to be people who are fed with both sides.

    • helenk3 says:

      just wondering why
is yelling white power racist but yelling black power and only black lives matter is not?

    • DeniseVB says:

Could be agitators ? Plants for the Dems and BLM ? Oppo provocateurs ? If Trump is still drawing international media …. and dKos was the only one who picked it up, I’m skeptical about their truthiness🙂

      • It’s not just DK. AddictingInfo and (more importantly) Raw Story are linked in the diary. But yes, could be agitators. Likely IF there’s any truth to it. I’m on record as not being a Trump fan, but if I get even a whiff of political gaming, I could turn. I’m contrarian that way.

        • DeniseVB says:

There’s a 9 second video where it’s clearly heard, but the voice didn’t match the background crowd din. Slate used that video….provided by Daily Kos……in their story.

So far, no msm reports. The left used provocateurs at Tea Party rallies and the media ate it up. Ya know, proving the TP was racist or something.

Of course, not ruling out some local yokel white power racist freak either. It’s the south after all. 😀

  24. NewOrleans says:

Republican Donald Trump is pulling away from the pack in the race for the party’s U.S. presidential nomination, widening his lead over his closest rivals in the past week, a Reuters/Ipsos poll showed on Friday.

Nearly 32 percent of Republicans surveyed online said they backed Trump, up from 24 percent a week earlier, the opinion poll found. Trump had nearly double the support of his closest competitor, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, who got 16 percent. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson was third at 8 percent.

Even when Trump was pitted directly in the poll against just his top two competitors, 44 percent backed him. Bush won about 29 percent of respondents, and Carson 25 percent.

Obviously, Trump should drop out of the race!

  25. The MOST TRANSPARENT Administration in American History has struck again:

History Clinton will not be the Preezy-of-the-United-Steezy

  26. IMO – Biden will declare, WITH Warren…then, something will happen. He will get sick or something, and she will “take up the torch”

Obama is such a snake. I really cannot stand the man. IF I am right, this has ValJar written all over it. And HRC is a fool if she didn’t see this coming.

    • SHV says:

“And HRC is a fool if she didn’t see this coming.”
I was thinking about this yesterday. Hillary seems to be politically tone deaf; I think she has gone her own way, getting poor advice, ignoring Bill, perhaps trying to prove something to herself. Having met and talked to both of them years ago, there is no comparison with the ability to “connect” with people; Bill is unique and Hillary doesn’t have it.

    • 1539days says:

I feel kind of bad for the Hillary supporters who have gone back to her now that she’s running again. They really think she’s going to make it this time.

      • elliesmom says:

Update on the Ellen Page “ambush” ….

Cruz calmly explained his well-considered position for about four minutes, and stressed the importance of religious liberty and the protection of LGBT people from harm, especially by the hands of Iran and ISIS. And he did all this while holding a hot pork chop.

Sheltered progressives are often shocked when conservatives don’t conform to the stereotype. Anyone who had conducted the most elementary research would have known Cruz is no dummy and that he would easily best even some of the brightest minds on the left. This actress created the gotcha moment for an upcoming web series produced by Vice Media. It will be interesting to find out how much ends on the cutting room floor.

So funny what we be. I spoke with my best friend from college last night for the first time in almost 20 years. I kept calling her by the little brats name. I did not mean to. I call shaypup Little One all the time. I used to call her that. Brown hair, brown eyes, olive skin and really annoying. I got stuck with two. Very wierd how thinking changes as you get older. I love using the c word I understand it bothers some people i just cannot see getting upset by three consonants and a vowel. I saw this woman act like her life was going to end because she heard an ugly word. There was so much drama. I do not get it
Beyond that my other Philly friend has end stage cervical cancer. She has two kids and she is hurting. Cancer is expensive. She was born to a GI and a Vietnamese prostitute. Her adoptive mother worked on the Today Show saw her adopted wrote a book became a congresswoman. Ugh. Makes me ill. Holly is broke. Cancer sucks. I get so mad. She has been through so much. Just not fair. She is so afraid about her two boys. She does not whine and say I have epic organ failure poor me no she says I am worried about my sons. She is worried about cash. Her brother is Mark Mezvinsky Chelsea’s husband. If it takes a village look in your backyard.
I am a wee bit mad. Holly is so amazing. Her life story is stark. Her mother turned around and wrote a book. Awful diatribe. They Came to Stay. I am not allowed to use the c word anymore but damn I want to.
Random thought I am one of the oddest people ever. How does it happen Holly and I live together.

Open thread? Can I complain about the back-to-school list? OH MY GOD. My 9-year-old is in this program where he does the equivalent of (I think?) grades 5, 6, and 7 in two years. The existence of this program is why I chose his school–he was in two grades at a time back in our village, and I didn’t want to end up driving him several times a day between schools once he was out of elementary. So this program is great, not least because they chose 5 kids from his 4th grade class for it–meaning that he won’t be isolated/ostracized as the ONE kid who is smaller than his classmates. (Important bc he already skipped a grade, i.e., he’s now 2 years younger than his classmates.)

So this was all good. Yay kid. We got the school list and I said to X, “Hey, won’t he need the supplies for his middle-school AND his elementary-school classes?” X: “Oh, don’t be silly, little lady, of COURSE he only needs the elementary supplies.”

So I went and bought the kid a pen and a box of Kleenex, which were pretty much the only things on the little-kid list. TEN MINUTES AFTER I RETURNED HOME, a hand-addressed letter arrived in the mail. It was from the school, enclosing the middle-school list. (Me: “X, there’s some mail FOR YOU.”)

THIRTY-THREE ITEMS! Oh my God. I don’t even know what some of this stuff is! Even the list says hey, you’ve got to go to at least four stores.

Was it like this when we were kids? I THINK NOT. Middle school for me was a Trapper Keeper and pretending to lose my lunchbox so that I could eat the school lunch.

Wow, your kid is smart! Must take after you.🙂
      33 items seems a lot.
In middle school my kids needed a bunch of folders, binders, paper, notebooks, pencils, pens, highlighters, calculator.
What other stuff do they want you to buy?

It’s been a while but yes it got ridiculous. I think the grosses of Kleenex is for teachers with rhinitis. My least favorite was in little kid school when I was ordered to bring expensive politically correct snacks for testing days. I was “ordered” to bring little cups for water and cut up fruit with a list including kiwis, orange sections with the pith removed, etc. I brought tiny little baby juice boxes and bar mix with cashews in a punch bowl. Hahaha. Hey kids want a beer! Just kidding. The little scamps slurped and snarfed that stuff. I think they were third graders.

LOL As a middle school teacher, I went through a box of tissues every week. Very few kids come to school with their own tissues and providing them for the class was self-preservation. As was keeping the anti-bacterial soap container full so the little dears could wash their hands. A parent who sent in a box of tissues occasionally went to the head of the class. Our local warehouse store gives teachers free membership so they can buy tissues and pencils by the case.

Anti-bacterial soap was on my youngest’s list! I had no problem buying it. That was many years ago now. I also send a small packet of safety pins once when my daughter kept telling me about kids clothes falling apart or getting torn off in recess. LOL. I got a nice note from the teacher for that one. And I remember buying a red pencil (for marking papers?) on the list in which I instead sent my eyeliner pencil bought at the same time at the same store and got that back with a note too! Start of school bedlam. I don’t miss it.

Judge Jeanine Pirro Interviews Candidate Donald Trump…

This interview is interesting in that Judge Jeanine spends a little time on the “why” question; asking candidate Trump why he’s running for the GOP nomination. For many people this is still a key question and Trump’s answers therein reflect he really does feel compelled; in part because he believes in America and doesn’t see that same level of belief represented in the professional political class.

Yes votermom Holly’s brother married Chelsea. Love Holly Do not care for her mother. When it came down to freshman woman from Philly passin Bill Clinton’s budget it was her vote. Quite odd. I am more than a little bit of a freak. Holly was born to a prostitute on the streets of Saigon. How do the two of us ever even meet. Lived together. Maybe different people send out vibes and life throws you what you can handle. Last night this guy pulled out a gun and shot up his ceiling. Gun shots are really loud. I felt I had to address it so I attempted to speak to the place where he is every night. I was told to shut up mind my own business. Okay then I was in ER for six hours. I was on the phone and I used the c word. All hell broke loose on me. One woman was crying. I did not call anyone a c word. I was on the phoneand I said to my friend what a c word. A guy fires off six rounds and no one blinks I am on the phone using salty language and people freak out. I then ended up playing horse with baby girl until midnight. What a day.

As I age i see things very differently. I walk down the stairs and see baby girl asleep on the sofa. I get so full of emtion to simply see her. I think democrats are children. They hold on to all this pain. Pain is identity. At some point you have to move on. Life sucks everything is unfair. Why reside in anguish. The far left treats everyone like children. Take care of me. I am not ever gonna let my baby girl hop on board the pity train. Kid was thrown away. So what. She fights. Her life could have been so sad. Nope she just got her orange belt. All A’s. I have never let her feel sorry for herself. Where does poor me get you. Oh I know Oberlin. When she was so tiny I was so afraid for her I would bounce her and sing Poor Poor Pitiful Me.
I ama freak. Ihad two open heart. Shit happens. One day I walked into my parents room the wires they used to connect my sternum broke loose and ripped through my skin. I could have lived there poor me I am a horror flick. All kinds of ways you can look at the world around you. Pity self pity is so easy. Pup has a great gay uncle I am not her uncle I am her grandmothers brother. I cherish my brat annoying as hell but she is my best friend. I see so much damage. Can not even begin to describe what I see. I am her great gay uncle I think I owe her. I have to step up but I see these parents who act like their kids owe them.
