I saw this photo and thought it was a great metaphor of the media and politics, and we have over a year to go !

So many great comments later and this morning in yesterday’s thread, I hated to start a new one. Go read them and come back 🙂

Horrific. Suspect heading west on I-64 ? Head’s up Dandy.

  3. DeniseVB says:

Virginia State Police are reporting they are not in pursuit of the shooter, only assisting ? Per their latest twitter post.

    Sad, prayers sent. ❤

  5. DeniseVB says:

Sicko. Suspect posted videos of the shooting on twitter and facebook with some racist rantings about his former colleagues.

Now reporting suspect shot himself on I-66 in Fauquier County. Crazy sad morning.

Tweet from the victim’s boyfriend. 😦

    Very sad….

It isn’t easy to fire a person of color. Many managers prefer to transfer a difficult employee so as to avoid having the blemish on their own file.

The SJW are likely to say the killer was a victim of white privilege. Sick times we live in now.

My Hubby had to deal with that problem when he was manager. Firing a minority can lead to charges of discrimination followed by lawsuits. No one wants to be bothered by all that. Many companies can’t afford the legal expenses either. 😦

      • Gram Krakka says:

I have been dragged into that kind of investigation as a coworker of someone who saw racial discrimination where there was none. In fact this person was a beneficiary of racial discrimination of the affirmative action type.

No wonder job applicants with first names that sound “black” might not get called in for face to face interviews. Who wants to take the risk of having an employee who may turn out to be a pain in the *ss when you can hire a different minority type who might better appreciate the job opportunity.

      • cynic says:

I worked for a union roofing company, and in order to work on some govt. jobs, you need a certain percentage of minorities. In the 80’s, in our sleepy community, there weren’t many. They did hire a black man, and at one point, had to fire him. The union fought it, and they had to rehire him. THEN, once again, he became a problem employee, and they fired him again. This time, the union didn’t back him, and the man came back and burned down the business.

Jorge Ramos is probably pissed that his 15 minutes were interrupted so early in the day. That said, its appalling to me that nobody on TV is talking about the killers racist rant on Twitter.

  10. Dora says:

Arrogant SOB. I can’t stand him!
