7 years later what have we discovered.

Gay agenda push = Obumerzero really is gay.

Muslims can do no wrong = Zero really is a Muslim.

Jumps on every black shooting = He hates whites

White house advisers are mostly radicals = zero is a radical

Bows to Saudi’s = They are better than us and Zero

CIA forms ISIS = Bummer pretends to attack them while arming them.

IRS scandal = Ozero is a crook
Benghazi video = whole admin is a lier

Attack on guns = help his muslim buddies to attack you and me.

Well that is more than enough but yet there is far more!

No wonder I support JebBush.com 😀

I don’t get it! It is opening here tomorrow I think? A day earlier than in the States? And according to our movie website, tickets are available at our local cinema.

      • Myiq2xu says:

I saw the first one 4 times the first week it was out. I caught the very first show and walked out of the theater in a daze. I still had a full bucket of popcorn and a soda that I had barely touched. Losing my virginity (later that summer) didn’t leave as much of an impression.

I went straight to my friend’s house and told him “YOU GOTTA SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!” We went the next day. Then we went again on Saturday and brought dates with us.

has anyone here seeb the website for qello concerts? you can get it through amazon or ruko. 100s of concerts all kinds of music. would make a great Christmas gift. cost $7.99 monthly

    • DeniseVB says:

I found the link on Amazon, maybe votermom could put it up at her “store” ? Via VM’s portal….

      • votermom says:

I think the way it is on amazon, with a free app then you do in-app purchases, it would not be a good thing thru my portal. (They tend to ding affiliates for free stuff unless there is an explicit bonus going on, like the free kindle app)
I can try to find out more.

        • mothy67 says:

I don’t think you can use the portal for Prime add ons. Interestingly I signed up for Amazon gift. Same % you get for my orders St. Jude’s gets as well. Neither costs me a cent and they honor both. My neighbor sells books online through Amazon and ebay. He goes to flea markets and buys books for at the most a buck. He then sells them for a penny plus 4.99 s&h. I assume Amazon handles the logistics as his inventory always changes. Guess it’s all volume but he claims to make money. Guessing a dollar per book 2 dollar shipping amazon gets a cut. Maybe he makes 2 bucks a book.
I am looking to buy my mom a consignment shop. Talk about low overhead. I bought a bread machine for almost 200. Used it 3 times. I liked the idea of baking bread but was bored after a few times. I sold it through a consignment shop for 125. Craigslist can be creepy. I have a temp business I supply one day workers and cleaning crews. I use retirees. Started out very small I just filled a need. Grew. I now work with a temp company. I get half the fee and anyone who works for me can accept a job. No questions asked no non-competitive agreement.
Day work is hard. I was home from college and needed money. Temp work was it. I worked in a produce distributor place sorting out bad fruit. I was 20 and after a few hours I could not continue. My back and arms hurt so much. You get a ride to the work site which you pay for no way home. You have to work. Overtime after eight hours. Made me work 14 hours. This was 1987 Two hundred dollar pay day but I could not move for days. My first job was as a dishwasher at 16. Many times people just do not show up for menial jobs. I was 9 years old cleaning banks with my grandmother. I would go to bingo with her and sell the specials. I made money. 1970’s 40 bucks a night. I also had a paper route and was a pinboy in a bowling alley. I learned to do a job with dignity. Temp places were treating people like garbage. Most were court ordered to have a job. Treat people in an awful manner. I know lots of retirees looking to make money. Struck gold. I got a call that a temp agency needed 20 people to detail a store overnight because VP was coming. I said double fee. I pay ten an hour charge 12.25. I do not make 2.25 an hour. Taxes overhead, but 20 times 8(I have a minimum) not bad money. I had to partner with a big agency because I had no idea what I was doing. I could supply the labor but background checks and paperwork was beyond my scope. Legal stuff. Insurance. Day work at 6 am with people lining up for a job is very different than a few seniors aching to make a few extra dollars. Bet you could start a Grey haired army in Philly. I get calls all the time from hotels. Banquet stuff is yuuge. Young people do it once and not again. Older people are dependable.

Probably posting more than I should but I really think it’s important to see Donald in another light.
Trump Is Going To Break Your Heart
    Kurt Schlichter | Dec 14, 2015
“But I gotta be straight with you – Trump’s bad news, and everyone else sees it. He’s using you, and he’s going to toss you away when he’s done and never look back. Break it off before it’s too late – this is just a fling, and if it keeps up one day you’re going to find your wallet missing and probably your car too. And you’ll wake up with a political rash.

Donald Trump is out for one thing, Donald Trump’s personal aggrandizement. He cares nothing about you. He cares nothing about your aspirations and dreams. Don’t misunderstand him when he pays attention to you. He’s just trying to get what he wants from you, an earthshattering ego stroke.

Trump believes in nothing, which is why he will say anything. That’s why he’s all over the map, varying his positions not only year-to-year, month-to-month, week-to-week, but even hour-to-hour. First he wants to send all Mexicans home, then maybe not all Mexicans, then yes, all Mexicans, then no, not the great ones. The same with Muslims. One minute it’s every Muslim gets excluded, then the next minute no, we’re going to let some of them back. Who knows what will be tomorrow. I do – whatever gets him the most attention.

When he dumps you, when he goes back to the New York liberal roots that are at the core of his being and starts talking about how he’s decided to switch back to his old positions, that it’s reasonable to take your guns, to liberalize immigration, and to keep Obamacare, you’re going to feel like fools. You’re going to be humiliated. And the GOP establishment, which is terrible, is going to be looking at you saying, “I told you so.”

You can do better. The failures of the Republican donor and consultant class created Donald Trump. They made you furious, and you have every right to be furious. They have treated you like dirt and it’s no surprise you picked up The Donald on the rebound. But the answer to being treated like a doormat by a bunch of buttoned-down twits is not to embrace somebody who believes in exactly nothing of what you believe in. You can totally do better. There are plenty of fish in the sea, and they aren’t all named Jeb.

Trump doesn’t want to make America great. He doesn’t want to make you great. He wants to make you tell him that he’s great. He doesn’t love you, any more than the stripper in the Champagne Room loves you when you’ve still got money in your wallet.

Sure, that’s another deeply disturbing image, but not as deeply disturbing as the image of Donald Trump taking his ego trip on the road in a third-party or otherwise ensuring the election of Hillary Clinton. Just like a gold-digging tramp might leave you with a little something that all the antibiotics in the world can’t cure, Donald Trump may leave you with Hillary Clinton, and that means the end of everything you say you stand for.”

While I certainly agree there may be some reason for concern with Trump (we’ve never really seen someone like this govern), it doesn’t help the writer’s argument against Donald’s hyperbole to use more hyperbole in his rant; Donald Trump never said he wanted to ‘send all Mexicans home’… And I would need to know what the word ‘excluded’ means in describing his ban on accepting Muslims coming into the US until our political leaders can figure out what the heck is happening.

If you have a solid argument, stay with the facts – embellishing the story doesn’t make it more true.

So for me, this is not a rant that persuades me – and I’m not whole-hog Trump, yet.

    • DandyTIger says:

Funnily I think a lot of people for him understand that. And don’t even like him really. They want to shake up the system, and trump is the vehicle for that.

Tell the truth – who is this person. Glad to hear that you are recovering from your surgery.

  9. piper says:

    From Ann Althouse
“Just 4 days ago, I was observing that Rush Limbaugh was displaying his deep, personal identification with Trump. He was really seeing himself in Trump’s style and method of working the media. The media have “their moral superiority where they believe they represent the majority thinking of people in the country,” and they’re in an “absolute, sheer panic” because Trump/Rush makes them “realize they’re not representative of a majority of thought in the country and that they can’t convince people to agree with them that Trump[/Rush] is a reprobate.”

But Trump forced Rush into an identity crisis. Rush might love Trump’s style and method and the self-loving high he gets from witnessing the political success of that style and method. But the substance must be rock-hard conservatism. And Trump lost Rush by attacking Cruz the way he attacked Cruz. Trump said:

Had to put my tin foil hat on today as I was watching Morning Joe. Today, they showed a rather long, professionally done, clip of Chris Christy in NH, talking about the Muslims. The videos have the Huff post logo in the lower corner, so I assume that they are making them. This is the second Huff post professional video that I’ve watch via MSNBC (the first was about drugs a couple of weeks ago). They play theses clips over and over, throughout the day, and for two or more days, praising Christie every time they play them.

Are they feeling bad that they took down Christie via Bridgegate, and now they’re trying to make it up to him? I don’t recall seeing clips of any other candidate campaigning that have the Huff Post logo in the corner.

The establishment is counting on Trump losing Iowa & NH, and they’re counting on Christie to win NH. MSNBC is doing their part.

    My turn.

I’m interested in reading other peoples’ opinions about Trump, but I can’t agree with every one. The name Donald Trump has been someplace in my background for the last 40 years. I worked in NYC while he was building his empire and we all watched with fascination as his life story unfolded in the local tabloids. There was a lot more to his story than just the women. The ways in which he helped the city are too numerous to list.

    Just a few
He promised to build the skating rink – he did it.
He promised to save Grand Central Station – he did it.
He promised to save Jamaica Hospital – he did it.
He promised to build a veterans’s memorial downtown – he did it.
He promised to lead the Israeli Day Parade up Fifth Ave – he did it.
He promised to finance the Veterans’ Day Parade – he did it.

When he purchased Mar-a-Lago, his resort in Florida, and realized that Blacks and Jews were still banned from the country clubs – he sued the City of Palm Beach for $500 million and had the laws changed.

In all the years that I remember, Donald Trump never failed to do something he promised. So, why am I now supposed to believe that he is using us and planning to toss us away. That’s just not him. It’s not in his nature to do that.

Oh yes – some people don’t like the way Trump talks. Well, he grew up in Queens in the 50s. I grew up in Queens in the 50s, so to me he sounds like everyone else. He never did adapt the higher tone of the college intellectual, but rather he still talks like the people in the streets. He is one of us.

    Thanks for hearing me out.

    • DeniseVB says:

I spent some of my elementary years in Brooklyn in the 50’s. I wonder if we all may have been at Coney Island at the same time?😉 I hated Trump for awhile after finding out his dad, Fred, tore down Steeplechase Park. So what if it was a death trap, best scary fun I’ve ever had in my life! I’ve since forgiven him for the sins of his father……heh.

      • Dora says:

I loved Steeplechase. I used to love watching those mechanical horses, but I was always too frightened to get on. Lots of other good rides too. Remember the big slide? Wow! Those were the days. 🙂

        • DeniseVB says:

Here ya go, I loved the horses and those tracks were like 2 stories over the ground ! I forgot about the rest … after you got off the ride you had to go through a guantlet of creepy clowns.

        • DeniseVB says:

One more, from 1940 but pretty much how I remember it in the 50’s, omg, the slides. LOL. Obviously pre-feminism where the beauty contest judge was measuring ta-ta’s with a tape.

Too bad Trump is white, I’d call her a racist😉

If only Obama got this treatment in 2007, we’d see nothing in his past prepared him to run for dogcatcher much less President. That turned out well.

    • elliesmom says:

I don’t think she understands most Trump supporters know all that, and they still don’t care. It’s not about what he’d do as president. Who really knows what any of the candidates would do? It’s all about sticking it in the eye of the Republican (and Democratic) establishment. It’s about not voting for vanilla choices who will only work hard to maintain the status quo. It’s also not about voting for a candidate who plays it safe and loses. If you’re going down, you might just as well go down in a blaze of glory as with a slight whimper. Calling Trump supporters stupid, uninformed, or misinformed only makes them dig in deeper.

      • Myiq2xu says:

8 years ago I was running around with my hair on fire trying to warn people about Obama. Now I don’t have any hair left.

        It’s not that I don’t give a fuck, it’s that I refuse to give a fuck.

        • DeniseVB says:

As I keep saying, after John Edwards broke my heart, then what came later not keeping his pants zipped, I’ll never have that emotional attachment to a candidate again. Trump is a giant F-You to the corrupt system we have now, everybody hates him so he must be doing something right 🙂

I read a few books in The Left Behind series when I was travelling by train. Do not reccomend, but the Nick Cage film is I think the worst film I have ever seen. The entire premise is PC’d. It is a slap in the face to evangelicals. They throw a midget in the film. Actually throw him. Were it not a PC bastardized version of a Christian novel I’m sure there would have been protests. I am not PC but throwing a little person is just rude. All the jokes. I think it is on Netflix. SO SO BAD. The books are corny. The Kirk Cameron films are Syfy channel fare, but innocuous. Cage is offensive.

I read the first few pages of 13 Hours Amazon gives you free when you order a hard copy. Seems like something for BookHorde. I bought the paperback. Ten less 25% discount available on order page you have to scroll down and copy discount use it at checkout. Eight dollars with tax. B&N had it on sale for 12.
Also for your Amazon followers that have Prime. You can get a one week free add on of Showtime(8.99 after that). Homeland rocks. I have four months left on cable then see ya. Sling tv is 20/month includes ESPN, have prime, netfix and Huluplus(free through bing rewards) . Cable is insane. I pay a quarter a month to get Oprah. No thanks. I have never watched OWN but I pay a quarter a month to Oprah. I also pay Al Jazzera to be on the air. MSNBC. Every month my cable bill funds channels I will never watch. Funds philosophies I disagree with. We pay for spanish language television every month. Why. I wish sling did not have ESPN. I watch local games I can do that over the air only loss wiil be cable news, but anything worth seeing is online going to drop landline as well. I will save over 100/month if I buy every episode of The Walking Dead the day after it airs I spend less than 24/year.

    • DeniseVB says:

For what I pay VerizonFios, I should have my own channel of only shows I watch !

      • mothy67 says:

Look at Sling. 40 channels. My cable is going bye bye in four months. Verizon triple play 189/mo. Phone is stupid. Never use it. . 30 bucks right now for stand alone internet. I can save 159 a month. I like The Walking Dead. 1.99 an episode. 4 episodes a month. Eight dollars. I am paying 150/month to watch one show. FOX News repulses me because of ¡JEB! Love. Kid is old enough that misnomered family channels are not an issue. She does like Family Matters. I can buy all seasons in one month and still be ahead of the game. Not gonna happen. No way I am going to spend 25 on a season of a generic sitcom, but if you have had cable for 20 years you have paid more. FX and AMC are the only upsides to cable. Again huluplus is free if you use bing. I watched Fargo season One on hulu. Color me racist/xenophobic but I have a problem with 80 million Americans paying a dime a month to fund Al Jazeerra. Yep you pay for them to be on the air. I bet you pay over a dollar a month to have spanish speaking networks.

        • votermom says:

I am thinking of cutting cable too.
My problem is my home phone line – I want to keep that number. Not sure what to port it yo.

          • Jadzia says:

I wanted to cut cable–ours is SUPER basic, we get none of even the basic CNN type channels that you guys get–BUT FOR HBO OCS (8 euros a month but only if you have cable–and that’s the only place to get Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead) and apparently it costs LESS to have cable and Internet and the landline whose messages I still don’t know how to check after 18 months here than just to have Internet.

          • Myiq2xu says:

I think I am going to reduce my cable package to super-basic. You can buy complete seasons of all your favorite HBO shows and some of the best movies on DVD for less than HBO costs, and several times a year you’ll get free weekends of HBO or Showtime anyway.

  26. mothy67 says:

Something I did not know My home is owned so my largest bill is food. I don’t drive but have to use my card to get in store sales. I get like two dollars off a month for gas. I always thought oh well at least I get the sales. Turns out I can use it as a discount in the store instead of the pump. I can go to grocery store buy gift cards get double rewards then go to Target use my gift cards and red card with discounts fill a prescription get 5% off. I think I am becoming an old lady. Savings thrill me. I follow this rule if I was going to buy it anyhow savings goes into the brat’s college fund. I really want to understand this super couponing thing Double coupons.
I have several lady friends. Older. I do thier shopping. My dad is the coolest. He picks me up and drives me to thier homes. Sometimes the ladies go shopping. Can’t do the bus thing. Homes are not on bus routes. Not some old crickety ladies. Just old. My dad will accept no money for gas. Discount on gas is not his fuel of choice. Years I have been doing this you have to use the card to buy specials. I also use my card for several organizations. I have to wait and see but I generally spend about 3 grand a month. What a fucking bonus that will be. Have to see how it works. Will they apply the discount everytime I use card? Hoping I can just let it build up. I do not charge anything to shop. Kids piggy bank reaps the rewards. I say 38 they give me forty. Two bucks in piggy bank. This is not some wholesome story about a clean shaven do gooder. I am an asshole. My ancient lady friends are assholes.. We play poker and get drunk. I can shop. One woman is 81 has kids and great grand children. She cannot drive but lives at the bottem of a hill. I deliver her groceries. I have been doing this since pup was born. No sacrifice. Now I find out I can make money. Okay not money but if I can apply it to my grocery bill I will be in heaven. Maybe I will not be able to choose when it’s applied. Oh well.
