Just as this one genius found out.

I’m pretty sure it’s fake but funny.

The regulars at Ace’s HQ are convinced now that someone in Trump’ s campaign is reading the comments there because a little while ago they were talking about how the TOP candidates should do exactly that – do free screenings of 13 Hours.

      • Venus says:

I wouldn’t be surprised — Trump is running the opposite of a ‘traditional’ campaign and he’s very social/new media savvy. Why not do your own on-line “focus” groups to learn what the people want, rather than pay so called “experts” to tell you what the people want, like Mike Murphy who has done nothing for JEB! but pissing away $100 million.

    • Somebody says:

That is a brilliant move on Trump’s part.

We’re going to see 13 hours tonight!!

This is a good read and encapsulates a lot of things going on in this election, IMO.

    • Myiq2xu says:

I don’t recall Progs being described as angry voters in 2006 and 2008, but they were certainly motivated by anger at Bush and the war in Iraq.

Obama supporters are the angriest people in the country.

    • taw46 says:

I follow quite a few “conservative” writers on Twitter. Always liked reading their articles, their take on issues. But for months, they have a one-track mind, trying to persuade people to not vote for Trump by insulting them. It is all they do anymore, day in day out.

  3. Somebody says:

This seems to be the consensus from last night’s debate

There are a few that leave Christie out of the mix and go with only Trump, Cruz, and Rubio. All of the reviews, commentary, etc., though pretty say it’s time for everyone else to exit the stage.

  4. elliesmom says:

They learn to “spin” at an early age.
“Can I have a cupcake for breakfast?’
    “Umm, I don’t think so.”
“It’s just a muffin with frosting.”

    Scott Adams:

My favorite part of that exchange is when Trump cheekily talked about Cruz being problematic as a potential running mate. The point, of course, was to make you imagine Trump as presidential material and Cruz as VP material. It was brilliant 3D persuasion. Cruz tried to flip it around (and did so cleverly) but by then it was too late.

Today, all of you will be hearing about the “New York values” exchange during the debate. Cruz poked his nose into the 3rd dimension with an “identity” persuasion play. Going into Iowa, Cruz wanted Iowans to know that they were more like Cruz than Trump. It was a strong move on the persuasion scale. Cruz grabbed the “conservative” identity and tried to paint Trump as the fake conservative from liberal New York.

But Trump pulled the 9/11 card which is – ironically – the trump card of all trump cards when it comes to identity. When Americans think of 9/11, they lose their sense of state identity, their sense of political identity, and even gender identity. When the shit goes down, as it did that terrible day, the only identity anyone in this country had was “American.” Trump took that emotional high ground, invoked the heroism of that day, and owned it like a boss.

On the Republican side, Cruz is the second-best 3D persuader compared to Trump. But his powers are limited by the identity strategy he favors, which is “true conservatives.” That won’t play as well in the general election as Trump’s identity play of “Americans.”

Most of the other candidates stayed in the 2D realm all evening and focused their energies on lying about each others’ records. I barely remember what any of them said.

The worst political strategies of the night involved Rubio and Christie accusing each other of flip-flopping. That line of attack might have worked in past political contests. But in the year of the outsider, no one wants to vote for the winner of a skunk fight; voters want a candidate who isn’t a skunk in the first place.

    • taw46 says:

But, Cruz should have known Trump would pull the 9/11 card.

    • DandyTIger says:

I thought the 9/11 was a kill shot of a sort (similar in power to the canada/not natural born thing). Icing on the cake is that most all of the media is in NY. And even though they mostly hate Trump (and Republicans), there’s only so far you can go with them. Cruz went too far.

    • Underwhelmed says:

Why is it that Trump is the only one that understands you can only succeed when you pull together as the same team? Obama has spent 8 years Balkanising the US into the worst fractures you’ve ever had – and now the political idiots are saying oh, you can’t go with Trump, he’s trying to get the whole country pulling with him. How stupid are these people?

      • lyn says:

Very stupid … great observation, as usual.

        • Underwhelmed says:

Thank you. I just blather on, and sometimes pull together a coherent thought. *g* The thing is, I think, you have your whacko elements on both sides (who shouldn’t be let out of a padded cell) and then your vast middle, that either doesn’t identify with their brand or has rejected both brands or is one or the other because of family history but in the end doesn’t really care. And those people vastly outnumber the rest, have been treated so very badly for a long time, and now they’re pissed, Roger, they’re really pissed — and that’s the anger Trump’s put the spotlight on, and he’s not telling them how dare you be angry because your lives and your country are being ruined by these bastards – he’s saying I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it any more. How about you?

What the self appointed elites can’t grasp is how or why that’s resonating, and why the masses are shouting back No, no, hell no.

Texas Attorney Files Eligibility Lawsuit Against Ted Cruz…

The case is Schwartz v. Cruz, 4:16-cv-00106, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas (Houston) – and the suit was filed yesterday. An 85-year-old lawyer, who claims no party affiliation, has filed a 28 page complaint with the U.S. District Court seeking expedited determination of the eligibility of Senator Ted Cruz to be President of The United States.

    • Somebody says:

That’s interesting, but like so many of the Obama cases I’m sure the courts will find that Mr. Schwartz has no standing.

Cuomo Blasts Cruz Over ‘New York Values’ Comment, Says GOP Candidate ‘Owes New Yorkers An Apology’

    • swanspirit says:

Ted outsmarted himself with the New York Values remark. I knew as soon as the words came out of his mouth, it was a huuuugge mistake. He had that smirky ” I know I am being smarter than you ” look , and it blew up in his face. More then half of the East coast identifies or associates in some way with New York. In what political universe do you insult a city, state or region of this country, and it works well for you? Maybe Ted did spend too much time in Canada.

Miss Lindsey is finally coming out. No, not that way, he’s coming out endorsing…. wait for it…. Bush. Sad really.

    • DeniseVB says:

Wonder what JEBush offered him ? VP ? Hahahahahahahahahaha. Graham was polling almost last in his own state.

    • Somebody says:

No way, he’s endorsing Bush? I had him pegged as a Trump man, LOL! To borrow from Hillary, at this point what does it matter?

If you really want to know how delusional John Cole and the Buffoon Juicers are, this is all you really need to see.
I don’t care how much John says he is an atheist, Obama is his god.

We need to amend the Constitution so Obama can run again.

I guess he isn’t supporting any Dem either?
