    Beautiful picture.

About Super Tuesday – I don’t think this is how the plan is supposed to work:

  2. Dora says:

I’d say his career in politics is just about over.

9 photos of John Kasich eating on the campaign trail

  6. Somebody says:

Gorgeous picture Denise! I might be a little jaded since that is my neck of the woods.

    • leslie says:

It is absolutely stunning. I saved it. Just so I could look at it later on.

    • DeniseVB says:

Thanks ! My son’s inlaws live there and sad they are selling …. and moving to Biloxi, MS !!?? She wants to live near her sister, and sister and hub don’t want to move to St Augustine?? No Casinos 😉

  7. elliesmom says:

Once again the grands have left me with a nasty cold, but before I go back to bed and pull the covers up over my head, I need to go vote. This may be the only primary in my life where my vote counts, The polls say Trump will take 61% of the vote in RI. Clinton and Sanders are on a seesaw. PPP has Sanders 49, and Clinton 45, but the Brown University poll has Sanders stuck at 34%. I’m unaffiliated so I can vote in either race. 🙂

    • Somebody says:

Sorry you have a cold, but I can absolutely relate my grands “share” their germs with me all the time.

Thanks for taking the time to vote today even though you feel lousy. I hope you decide to vote in the republican primary!

      • elliesmom says:

if I vote “honestly”, that is vote for the candidate I would like to see on the ballot in November, then I will choose a Republican ballot. But I have to admit a revenge vote against Hillary is tempting. I’m sure another cup of tea and a nice long shower to clear my sinuses will put me in a positive mood, and I’ll ask for the Republican ballot. I didn’t expect any of them to campaign in RI, but Trump, Sanders, and Clinton were all here over the weekend. Nothing in RI is very far away. I was too tired and too sick to drag myself out, but I would have liked to attend at least one of the events. Bernie was at Roger Williams Park, which is worth a visit on any day. The park is huge, and reports say about 7,000 people attended. The Trump rally had about 1000 inside and an overflow tent. The Crowne Plaza hotel in Warwick isn’t very big so I’m guessing it was packed. Probably better I kept my germs away. lol Clinton was in Central Falls at the high school. It has about 700 students so not a large venue either. All three venues gave the candidates an opportunity to show they appeal to a diverse electorate. I live out in “white bread” land. I have yet to see an African-American person anywhere in town. Very different demographic than where we moved from.

    • leslie says:

Isn’t it too bad the grands seem to leave us with more than mere memories? Good luck w the voting. I hope you feel better soon. 💕💕

      • elliesmom says:

They also left me with beach sand all over my floors. I got it out of the carpets before I went down for the count, but my kitchen floor is absolutely gritty. lol When I get back from voting, I’m going to run a swiffer over it to at least make the sand stick to the floor and keep it from getting tracked everywhere again.

        • leslie says:

The sand all over the floors is just a reminder of the great time they had and how happy they were with you. They probably don’t realize we can remember those good times even without the sand left over from the fun at the beach. 😉
          Feel better ….

        • DeniseVB says:

When it’s too cold to hose ’em down outside, next best thing is strip ’em the laundry room, wrap a towel around them then to the showers!

  8. DeniseVB says:

So cute, Trump’s groupies reacting to his arrival 🙂

  9. votermom says:

Too busy a real post today

    • CiscoKid says:

      THANK YOU!
This couldn’t come at a better time as I’m not only looking for a new tablet, but, as always a good deal on one.
      That comparesion chart was great.

    • DeniseVB says:

Excited to see Chip and Joanna Gaines (Fixer Upper) have a book coming out in Oct called “The Magnolia Story”. I think Amazon is doing pre-orders now? A lot of fans here, why not link to it so we can buy it from you !!! I will so buy this book 🙂 I did see it promo’d on a Christian publishing site and they’re taking pre-orders. Okay, just checked, Amazon IS doing pre-orders. Also, it would be a great running Horde promo for the next 6 months when you get the busies. I’ve read their story in bits and pieces, it’s really very inspirational, ya’know in that “hard work and perserverance being the key to success” sort of way ❤ Of course, when you work at something you're passionate about, it's not really work.

  10. swanspirit says:

Beautiful picture of the moon and the sea. I just got back from voting, and I am so glad I changed my party to R , because here in Maryland, if you don’t belong to a party, you are unaffiliated, and can’t vote in either primary.
    You are welcome Donald.

    • DeniseVB says:

Every state should be an Open Primary, dear lawd, photo i.d. has nothing to do with voter suppression, stupid party run primaries DO.

  11. AFVet says:

    Happy Birthday Melania Trump.
So looking forward to you as First Lady.

    • Somebody says:

      Well Happy Birthday Melania!

Today is also my son’s birthday. My granddaughters came in the door this morning giddy with excitement. We’re driving into the city and meeting my son half-way home from his office at a restaurant, which he didn’t know until this morning.

The girls insisted on wearing dresses and putting ribbons in their hair this morning! I have clothes and hair bows here, I had planned on getting them ready this afternoon. Nope they apparently woke up early this morning all excited. The older one helped the younger two pick out clothes, bows and matching shoes……..how sweet! Although all the fuss did cause them to run a little late this morning.

    • swanspirit says:

I have a feeling, when Melania is Fisrt Lady, we may see a return of Old World manners, and I don’t think that would be a bad thing.

      • AFVet says:

Manners is he key word you used.
She speaks multiple languages and I think she would make an elegant First Lady.

  12. DeniseVB says:

Last night at UMASS-Amherst at a Milo event, Steven Crowder’s opening remarks.

    • leslie says:

I’m so glad I heard that. Crowder was fabulous. I wish more people would stand up to these anti-free speech snowflakes. And really, the word snowflakes to describe these “folks” is quite wrong. They aren’t pretty, there is nothing unique about them, and the only thing they do that is remotely like a snowflake is fly from one “cause” to another just as snowflakes get buffeted by the winter winds. There is nothing really fragile about their big mouths that demonstrate their small mindedness.
I wish I could be more succinct 😦

      • DeniseVB says:

I posted the full event below. Crowder;s rant came about 30 minutes into the program and makes more sense in context. The SJW’s were just obnoxious to Prof Sommers opening statement…shouting her down constantly….she’s a Democrat and a feminist too!

I finally got to watch the whole 90 minutes and felt like the panel got their talking points from TCH 🙂 It’s very reaffirming to hear common sense address the snowflakes’ “behavior”.

    • 1539days says:

You should hear what he says about Donald Trump.

      • DeniseVB says:

No secret Crowder’s a NeverTrump, it’s the other 86 minutes of the full event I posted that makes him teh awesome of this event 🙂

  13. votermom says:

  14. DeniseVB says:

Here’s the entire UMass Milo event. Starts at about 15:15, lasts about 90 minutes.

  17. Dora says:

    I love it! 🙂

    • Mt.Laurel says:

Calling her a B level actor is being downright charitable.

The best comment I saw on this was why do they never threaten to move the Mexico or Chile or Nigeria or Pakistan.

  18. AFVet says:

    Rudy on Hannity.

  19. mothy67 says:

I walked to vote, 15 blocks and walked back another route. I saw one sign for kasich the entire journey. Eight years ago there were signs everywhere. I have a hat but no yardage. Why? da brat. I’ve had more than a few special snowflakes confront me and my cap. I am not intimadated. It’s always some sensitive white kid that calls me a name. No signs as its my choice to flagrantly wear my hat everywhere. Kid not so much. My neighbors are also islamic and with the media distortion of what Trump said I see no reason to put up a sign. I wear the hat and I vote. Mother wears a hajib and the only daughter went to what ever you call their school and cloaked herself in what they wear for a few months. She’s back in regular clothes and public school. Her younger brother(3rd grade) sang Christmas songs and went trick or treating. I am polite, as are they. Side street no need for a sign.

    • votermom says:

Walk 15 blocks to vote? That’s voter suppression, that is!

      • mothy67 says:

I love to walk. No racing shit just walking. Four years ago they told me I had two months to live. Then they sent to my death bed, a woman then went on for an hour about quitting smoking. WTF you have 8 weeks to live spend that time craving a cigarette. WTF. I walked home against medical advice. 7 miles. Still alive. I grew up in hospitals. Nurses are heroes. Sadly sometimes tech supplants common sense. obama made it worse. Everything is what the computer says.

  20. mothy67 says:

Another thing that might piss off the SJW — I live down the hill from a towne center, yuuuge grocery store and a bunch of little stores. I do not know how to drive so I shop three/four times a week. Everytime I go into the mammoth grocery store there are all these young men lined up at the scratch off ticket kiosks buying lottery tickets. Its wrong. I am not talking about using gov’t money. I’m talking about taking people from a village in Nepal and plopping them down in the name of diversity. These young men think they are going to win. I watch them . Not judging the gambling I love poker. These are people that lived in villages and think America is land of milk and honey. There is no structure. These guys can’t get a job as there are no jobs. My crud is sensitive she worked with a girl from Katmandu who speaked real good. Joking she spoke very well but she could not read. Catholic Charities is the worst they just dump families all over the place. No follow up support unless you think clothes and money is all that is needed. No dumb fucks. You as an organization made a choice to supplant people and then demand your choices be maintained. Fuck off.
I am an asshole, but even my cold heart feels for these pawns in SJW warfare. I watch these men scratching off tickets.

  21. leslie says:

Well, there is progress here. I just returned from a dentist appointment. In 2008, my dentist was a staunch supporter of bronco. And when BHO won the election, there were framed pictures (big ones) of bronco and his family, bronco as he took the oath of office, bronco and other people, bronco, bronco, bronco. My dentist said he was so proud of the US for electing someone who was not your “typical politician” nor who looked “like every other president before him”. IOW, black. Then came the changes – my dentist supported everyone of them. We used to have pretty heated discussions about the wrong-ness of who bronco was and what bronco stood for. More recently, his photos of bronco are nowhere to be seen. He had supported by the ACA. Today, he is completely against ACA. When Benghazi happened, he refused to believe bronco was in the wrong. Today, he accepts my statement that Benghazi was the absolute turning point for me r/t HRC. Today, he stated that he supports Trump – as do most of his office staff – AND – their families. You can knock me over with a feather.
You should hear what they (he and his staff) have to say about Kasich and Cruz.

    • Myiq2xu™ says:

There are certain people I don’t argue politics with – dentists are near the top of that list. I would not want my dentist mad at me.

      • leslie says:

It took me years to develop the kind of relationship with my dentist that I have. And I agree that there are people not to discuss politics with. My old dentist was one of them. also hairdressers or barbers, the woman at the nail salon, the doctor or her nurse … anyone who holds sharp instruments while “serving” me.

        • Somebody says:

My hairdresser is a major Obot, absolutely fits the definition of a vile prog. OMG, I’ve almost chewed my tongue off through these years. I have piped up a few times, but I try to keep my mouth shut. He KNOWS I’m a republican…..this is a small town and I was previously quite politically active, but still I hold my tongue……because my hair!

I seriously considered changing to someone else, especially during the 2012 campaign. A couple of weeks ago when I was in the shop, my hairdresser tried everything he could to get me to talk about Donald Trump……didn’t bite. I don’t know if he was goading me or if he was being serious. He actually said some nice things about Trump and also talked about how unfair most of the media has been toward him. He really went off on the Michelle Fields thing……but I held my tongue.

Time will tell if he too has come over to the dark side, LOL! I think it’s quite possible he clearly isn’t a Hillary fan, his boyfriend is retired military and he detests Hillary with a burning passion.

        • DandyTIger says:

Good rule to live by. Especially if you want to continue to live. 🙂

  22. mothy67 says:

So when I was in high school we was poor. I spent my last two years of high school at a decent school. I had to work. No choice. I was a dishwasher at 16. I could take two buses or walk 30 minutes. I walked. Everyday I walked by this big yellow house. I wanted to live there. Today I walked by and jt’s for sale. Price is not possible. Single family home in the 80’s now subdivided. Listed as 3 bedrooms? It’s huge. 160,000. How is that possible. My shack is worth more. I thought about it. Nope. So cheap though

    • Somebody says:

Does it have high rental potential? Is it a decent area where you would have good tenants? Estimated P&I is $588, taxes are listed and would bring to total to around $1,000 per month. What is the monthly rent per apartment potential??

BTW it’s cute, but I would prefer it as a house instead of apartments. There are other houses listed on that page in the same area and price range that are single family homes…….something to consider.

      • mothy67 says:

I looked at a one bedroom ten years ago two blocks away 1125. Made no sense. Babe was wee and I raised her. Why pay rent? I love that house I would only want it as a single family and they probably ruined that but the price seems so cheap. My taxes are high but we have two grade schools. Less than 70 in four 4th grade classes. I love the small aspect. I graduated from same school was very decent. Now there’s an influx of kids that do not have basic skills.
Everything is insane. PSSA’s(Pa State exams) take up almost three weeks. No results until October????????? 6 months to get test results. Parents hands are tied. If I find out my crud was struggling I’d have a tutor that day not two months into next school year. The PTA had offered breakfast for all kids on test days. A mother who gets free lunch and breakfast cried it was unfair. Face masks are now required for all fast pitch softball. It’s insurance. Some kid got hit now everyone has to buy a 90 dollar helmet. Nevermind girl’s played softball for hundreds of years. Cost about 90 to buy a “cheap” helmet. Somehow that is racist. Woman went to the school board. Kids summer sports have nothing to do with school. On top of that she wants her kid to play deck hockey for free. It is so expensive.
Anyhow I wanted that home. 159,000 that seems insane. Not going to even consider

    • DandyTIger says:

Also the last poll where Trump is now tied with Hillary kind of cuts into their one and only argument. And he hasn’t really started campaigning against here whereas she’s actively campaigning against him.

      • CiscoKid says:

I can’t wait, Hillary vs. Trump.
He’ll take her apart like a cheap watch. It’ll look like Godzilla destroying Toyko.
Anyone else but Trump will wimp out, read Cruz and who’s that other guy.

    • DandyTIger says:

I suspect the backroom deal Cruz and Kasich made is a big part of that. You can’t get more insider, corrupt, old party establishment, than making deals like that. And of course the convention delegate selections, and delegate stealing going on. Best part is how clueless the establishment types are by saying but it’s the rules. Seriously, them not getting it is hilarious.

  23. DandyTIger says:

  24. lyn says:

The chairwoman of the Boulder County GOP has admitted that grave errors affected the Colorado Republican caucus, in which Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) won a clean sweep of 34 delegates without opening up the process to voting by everyday citizens.
Breitbart News has obtained an email that Boulder County GOP chairwoman Peg Cage sent to other top Republican officials in Colorado, including to other party chairs, describing the errors in the process that led to “the perception of fraud.” Reached for comment on the email, Cage said that the caucus might have to be done over.

  25. mothy67 says:

Asking honestly why vote for Hillary? I can see no reason. Gender. Hell no. Want nothing any woman Iove to be anything like her. She is a monster. Gross.

    • CiscoKid says:

Imo, ANYONE who says their going to take some of my stuff and give it to some non-productive slug can kiss my BFA.

  26. elliesmom says:

I just got word my daughter is undergoing an emergency appendectomy. One of her friends has taken charge of the grandkids. Instead of flowers to my daughter, I think I’ll send them to her friend. 😉

  27. Venus says:

Trump was hilarious talking about Kasich disgusting eating habits — I had noticed it before Trump went after him on it and man, did that meme get picked up — I guess a lot of other people had noticed it too.

Even NY Magazine is getting in on the Kasich bashing — article is titled “John Kasich Eats Like He Just Got Off of a Cleanse” BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!
They also picked the most disgusting pics of Kasich eating:

    • lyn says:

LOL —> Trump: “I’m always telling my young son, Baron. I’m always with my kids, all of them. I’d say, children, small little bites,” Trump said at a rally in Rhode Island on Monday. “This guy takes a pancake and he shoves it in his mouth It’s disgusting. Do you want that for your president? I don’t think so.”

  28. swanspirit says:

Maryland , Pennsylvania, and Connecticut, have all already been called for Trump. Fox folks look glum.Even Megyn Kelly. What were they expecting? A “white knight”?
