Latest news was about a shooter at the White House, probably suicide by cop since Obama was safely on the golf course. Still. Keith is/was covering it….

An EXPERT on aviation said Egyptair’s tragedy was probably caused by a “short” in the electrical system. Nope, not buying it. No Mayday call ?

Trump was endorsed by the NRA today, first ever BEFORE a convention. Yuuuge! But, no. Shooter at the White House today, a Trump supporter? You know where I’m going with this…, red wine❤ Disclaimer: it's actually a sweet potato, carrot, spinach, kale, pineapple, lime smoothie + vodka. Big Pharma doesn't approve this message😀

    • CiscoKid says:

I posted something similar over at WHD.
How is it that the day, the very day , and within a few hours of the NRA endorsing Trump, there’s a shooting by the WH.
Especially after Trump gave a rousing speech on how he’ll protect or 2nd Amendment rights, and after pointing out that Hillary and Obama are clearly out to destroy them?
Watch/listen to the onslaught of anti 2nd Amendment gibbous by the propaganda corps & Obama Hillary.
Yes, I think I’ll have that drink now.

*clinky* cisco.❤ Diamond did hat tip young Caroline Kennedy for the inspiration for this song, creepy😉

We were on a cruise from Boston to Bermuda. One of the entertainers did a lot of retro stuff and for his “big show” he was a Neil Diamond impersonator. The Red Sox were playing in the World Series and every time they got a run during his shows, he’d stop what he was singing and start a chorus of “Sweet Caroline”. It was pretty funny.

    • CiscoKid says:

Portions, or all to taste? Blender or handmixer?
      My weekend “try something new”

  3. Dora says:

I have always liked Neil Diamond. I have to admit that Elvis did a better job singing Sweet Caroline. But then, Elvis did a better job on any song he sang. IMO at least.

I’ve never seen Neil perform, but last year my sister-in-law and her hubby went to see him in Texas. They weren’t too impressed. He can’t hit the notes anymore. I told her – well, after a certain age, who can? 🙂

    • DeniseVB says:

Have seen Neil in concert, it was like a Trump rally. I still have the din in my ears🙂

      • leslie says:

I’ve been to 2 Neil Diamond concerts both years ago. They were wonderful — fabulous –even. We had such fun and the music sounded just like his recordings – but with audience participation. Really good times. 😘💕

I have a good friend who married an awesom man from India. When they entered the reception as husband and wife, they entered to this song. It was a highlight of the reception. And even though I liked it to begin with, it’s been one of my faves ever since.

Daily Caller editor-in-chief and Fox News contributor Tucker Carlson is not happy with how Glenn Beck acted at the Facebook meeting for conservatives this week.
In an interview, Carlson blasted the radio and television host, saying he was sucking up to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

“I went to that meeting expecting Beck to cry, rend his garments while quoting James Madison, but that’s not at all what happened. He began the most extended assiduous suck-up I think I’ve ever seen a grown man commit. He acted like he was auditioning to be Mark Zuckerberg’s manservant — it was awe-inspiring,’ Carlson said. “I don’t know what his agenda is; it’s either he’s looking to put his tanking Web properties up for sale or he just can’t help himself. There’s a billionaire there, so he sniffs the throne.”

          • WMCB says:

SHe’s right. America First. Why is it put forward as some item of absolute truth that we HAVE to keep taking people in unlimited numbers from anywhere in the world, forever and ever, whether we need them or whether they are of benefit to our country or not? It’s like some unquestioned religious dogma.

It’s insanity. We’re destroying ourselves. Maybe a frontier country needed more immigrants. But do we NOW? I don’t “hate” anyone from any country. But I’m tired of “what is actually good for existing citizens” being the LAST DAMN THING considered when making these policies.
