GMTA ! If I were to have started a thread, this is exactly what I would have used. Love the U.S.S. Trump. (I didn’t want to bump your great postie below, respect!).

Idiot Obama just made nice with the Vietnam commies by lifting the embargo so we can sell them weapons “because Vietnam should be able to defend themselves”. WTF Obama? Why not just go tear down The Wall in DC. I’m seething at his insensitivity.

    • NBD says:

The war ended before most Americans of today were even born. What’s the point in continuing the bitterness over a lost war? Might as well make some money off the Vietnamese.

      • DeniseVB says:

I have no problem with the current commodity trade, but selling them WEAPONS ? That’s not bitter, that’s a response to Obama’s current fuck yous to the veterans by honoring communists who could give a crap about them. My husband served two tours, you have no idea how the VN war has affected the survivors. Obama is shit to me.

        • CiscoKid says:

Stay strong, Trump will take care of our veterans and the military.
And yes, Obama is shit, lower than whale shit, and that’s at the bottom of the ocean.
That photo of Barry over at WHD has me seething, Barry, grinning like a possum eating shit.

          • DeniseVB says:

Obama’s only in it for Obama. He’s certain to get kick backs from arms deals, that’s the only thing I can think of. Hillary created the model with her ME “deals”. It’s so obvious to me. I’m beyond mad. Go Trump 🙂

        • taw46 says:

Denise, I agree with you. I know people who were in that war. I don’t think that we should sell weapons to any Communist country. (and for that matter, a lot of other countries).

          • DeniseVB says:

My husband’s VN veterans’ groups have been honoring the KIA’s and survivors as well as the families of the KIA’s. Have been to a couple of those reunions and met many widows, children and grandchildren of those we lost in combat. I guess I’m too close to the reality of war to think President McSmirkyFace and a Communist president have any clue.

As the VN vets get older, I guess our next project will be Angel Flights to The Wall. These vets are in their 70’s now.

          • taw46 says:

My one surviving uncle is a healthy 94 yr old WWII vet, and he never, ever forgets any veteran, no matter which war. I think he has read every book ever written about our military and wars, and he can tell you about all of his childhood friends who went off to war. He was on one of those flights to D.C. I honor him and all of our veterans.

        • AFVet says:

Over on WZ they have pictures of Obama standing in front of Ho Chi Minh.
Same thing he did in Cuba with Chavez in the background.

        • Dora says:

Denise, I am sorry for your husband. I knew 2 men who came back from that war who were never the same. One was a man I worked with who had such a severe nervous reaction that he often used to shake for no reason. One day when something fell on the floor causing a loud noise, he dropped to the floor and hid beneath his desk. I don’t know what became of him. The other man is someone I went out with for over a year. I had to break it off when he became hopelessly dependent on alcohol. He died before he was 40. Very sad.

      • Venus says:

        You’re an idiot.

    • nerdle says:

The embargo lift isn’t surprising, and as NBD says it is to make money. Tensions between China and Vietnam have always been high but these past few years have been crazy what with their toxic runoff destroying Vietnam’s aquaculture and the dispute over the oil in the South China Sea.

      • DeniseVB says:

Oh, okay. So Obama’s holding a “bake sale” to fund the VA hospitals? Yeah, right. I wonder who’s profiting? I’m sure it’s not the future bundlers to his legacy Presidential library or… cough, cough…his model Clintonesque Foundation of What’s Happening Now ? Let me know!

      • Venus says:

Look 2 idiots in one thread to defend Obama’s dumb ass.

      • nerdle says:

There’s a serious situation in that region and he wants to make money off of it. It’s disgusting and there are, of course, dangerous implications with selling weapons to Vietnam. I’m not defending Obama. I’m merely stating the reality there.

      • 49erDweet says:

        Equivocate much?

    • lyn says:

I’ve known several Vietnamese boat refugees who love America as much as I do and work hard. They are a million times better than Obama.

      • Somebody says:

Amen Lyn! My neighbors are Vietnamese refugees, but they are quick to tell you they are American they aren’t in to the hyphenated stuff. They are very hard working, own a couple of businesses, raised 4 sons that they put through college……doctors and engineers. They LOVE this country and are quick to tell anyone how wonderful this country is and to remind those of us that haven’t lived elsewhere why we should thank our lucky stars we’re American.

Yep I’d say they are ten million times better than Obama!!

Poor soul must not be aware that between 5/15 and 5/21 in Chicago
      Shot & killed 16
      Shot & wounded 76
      Total shot 76
      Total homicides 17
      Victims black, offenders black.
      BLM? To whom?

    • DeniseVB says:

The comments are funny. I liked the one “you’re white”. 😀

    • Does not logically follow. There are systemic issues with race & justice in this country, but “the movement” erred when it chose to use criminal, young black men as the face of it, and threw cops under the bus. No one, except criminals and movement faithful, genuinely wants to live in a world without police protection. Plenty of people care about black lives, but they care about blue lives too.

CNN will be very disappointed if there are no riots.

  14. WMCB says:

    This is brilliant.

    • CiscoKid says:

This is precisely the reason I’m calling bs on the interview with some alleged spokesman saying he is a member of veterans against Trump. BS, he’s against Trump because Trump wants to help and support our veterans?
So let’s see, vets getting screwed as illustrated in your link, and this dipshit claims he’s a veteran and against the only candidate who praises and respects our military and its veterans?
A VA office that only is open MON/FRI, 9 to 5 had a patient commit suicide because he couldn’t talk/see anyone about his PTSD, you see, office closed, wait till Monday, but he couldn’t.
Veterans for Trump on tv? Don’t hold your breath.
      Time for another drink.

    • mcnorman says:

Odumbass does hire the dumbest. The VA is now worse off than it has ever been. The new intermediary gatekeepers are even dumber than their leader. You want to know why it takes so gosh darned long to get an appointment? You now have an intermediary that gate keeps all appointments. And yes, half of them can’t even read or distinguish the difference between a neurosurgery request and a cardiology request. They are so far backlogged right now that only their IT people can view requests. Had this asshat actually hired people for the VA with medical backgrounds who could give permission to override the system and seek help outside this might not be as huge of a problem as it is today.
People are falling through the cracks daily. The problem is only further exasperated by the fact that a lot of physicians on the outside are saying no more to the VA now. (The intermediary takes a cut out of the doc’s payment portion which was already at Medicare payout, and then you have to add the ridiculous amount of paperwork that is required by the non medical mother may I asshats that are completely useless working out of their bedrooms (sitting in their pjs) not understanding the requests.) I actually get calls from a second area that ask whether someone came to their appointment. Well, if they would get their shit together, they would not have to call me, they could actually look up the consult which is sitting viewable on the IT side of their made in Hell facility. Oh yeah, did I tell you that they are already behind on these requests by months? All you need is one of these I can’t read it but will sound it out to know that people are going to be directed incorrectly and a lot of time will be wasted. I can’t even get a biopsy done on the first visit anymore. If you know that the thing on your neck looks like a softball that you had on your leg a few years ago, wouldn’t you want someone to take a snippet and tell you what it is instead of waiting in limbo for several weeks to get that done and add another few weeks to talk about how you are going to get rid of that cancer?
Sadly, the vets don’t have any understanding of how bad the situation now has become.

So it’s looking like the EgyptAir crash may have been an accident after all. I think I’m done jumping to conclusions, no matter how sensible they seemed at the beginning.

    • taw46 says:

Well, we all speculate, and it still could be terrorist attack. They have no idea what caused it, they haven’t recovered black boxes, much less analyzed data from them. I saw this morning that a French media agency reported “a source” told them the co-pilot put in a distress call to ground. Both France and Egypt have denied this is true. We will hear all sorts of stories before final statement comes out. And who even knows if that will be the truth. I have become so cynical over last years, never was like that before.

      • Jadzia says:

Who knows even if it’s true that “they” have no idea. I agree that it’s difficult to trust anything on the news these days.

    • DandyTIger says:

Could go either way from what I’ve seen. Sadly it’s possible that we’ll never know for sure, but hope we do. Don’t think it maters w.r.t. terrorism and security worries though.

    • DeniseVB says:

Our neighbor is a retired USAir pilot and our go to guy for all the speculation on such catastrophic air disasters. He thinks a shoe/underwear bomber type event, only this time, he took it to the rest room behind the cockpit to flick his bic, may not have been a big blast but enough to eff up the wiring to some of the controls. Also, this is the ME, and shit happens, don’t fly there.

    • CiscoKid says:

While trying to disarm the American people.
Maybe Vietnam will sell our shit back to us when we need it.

    • CiscoKid says:

But he was ONLY selling HEROIN to HIS people, and a few/many white junkies.
But now he joins St. Trayvon & St. Brown in the thuggery Trinity.
      Ok, its only heroin.
