Trump Smash, De’Plane! De’Plane!

Whether you’re a fan of Trump’s or not, this is an amazing documentary about a Man and his Plane. One day, I look forward to starting a post without “whether you’re a fan of Trump’s or not”. Enjoy your flight !

Donald J. Trump has a net worth of anywhere from $4,000,000,000 to $10,000,000,000, depending on fluctuating real estate and other investment valuation. His air fleet includes a Cessna Citation X jet, three Sikorsky S-76B helicopters, and a Boeing 757 jet. Trump’s 757 is three times the size of the average private jet and every inch of it is customized to meet his high standards. Outside, it’s powered by Rolls Royce engines. Its amenities inside include gold seatbelts, high-grade leather seats, a master bedroom, a second bedroom, and a shower. It’s a smooth ride for passengers, but for pilot John Dunkin, things can get turbulent in a hurry, especially when one of the jet’s most vital parts goes missing.

I’m such a Trumpkin, this doc was made more than a year before he announced his Prezzy for the Stezzy. This is more about the man and his staff … Trump’s attention to detail and how he runs a well oiled Trump Machine. Exciting too.

  2. DeniseVB says:

With all due respect to Memorial Day, I kinda got overloaded on the social medias today with who’s the most patriotic. I think the BBQ and Brewski people won, not that there’s anything wrong with that, let the Summer Season begin ! ‘Merica !

  3. DandyTIger says:

Beautiful jet. Nice attention to detail. And one of the best piloting jobs out there is working for a private company like Trumps. Though the pilots are working a lot more than they are accustomed in the last year I suspect.

    • DeniseVB says:

I’ve watched the video about 3x over the past few weeks. Have such a crush on that pilot, such a sweetie. And what a trooper. Whew.

  4. DandyTIger says:

    This is more my speed:

    • DeniseVB says:

LOL. I went up with a former bf and he pulled that sh!t, once I got back on the ground, never flew in one again, and why he’s a former bf. God, I kissed a lot of frogs in those days. 😉

      • DandyTIger says:

You’d think they would train that hotdog stuff out of people. Especially as you go through commercial and then airline transport pilot. But nope, I know way too many airline pilots that will do crazy stuff, and get sloppy (too comfortable) with checklists, etc. I’m extra careful because I know I’m an idiot. Or maybe it’s the engineering training where, oh yeah, I know I’m an idiot.

        • Myiq2xu™ says:

Back in the day the hot dogs became fighter pilots. You had to be crazy to dogfight.

          • DandyTIger says:

Yep. I know a few Navy fighter pilots, and there’s definitely some crazy in there. Not sure it’s at the same level as WWII level dogfight crazy though.

          • 49erDweet says:

Yeah. When I resigned Aviation Cadets during the Korean thing because they reneged and instead wanted me to be a fighter pilot they sobbed and cried and thought I was mean.

        • swanspirit says:

I went flying with a one-time boyfriend, he did some rolls and other stunts. I loved it! I took flying lessons for a while, but never got my license. Still love to fly.

        • DeniseVB says:

Actually he simply shut the engine off, never forget the feeling of impending death. He laughed and turned it back on.

          • swanspirit says:

Yeah we did that, too. cut the engine off, let the plane drop in a nose dive then cut it back on and pull it back up. I thought the rolls were more fun , even though the first few times I did turn a bit green around the gills!!
I love flying in small pkanes, the Air is your road.

      • Mt.Laurel says:

Living in Virginia Beach, it was tough not to date at least one crazy pilot. Or three.

Denise, are you close enough to Oceana that you get buzzed by the low flyers showing off?

      • Mt.Laurel says:

Living in Virginia Beach it is hard avoiding dating a crazy pilot. Or three.

Denise, do you live close enough to Oceana that you get buzzed by the crazies flying low and showing off for the tourists?

      • AFVet says:

That’s one helluva pilot right there.

  5. DandyTIger says:

    Totally want one of these:

  6. Myiq2xu™ says:

Warriors up by 11 after 3 qtrs.

  7. taw46 says:

Hate to admit it, but I have had these thoughts as well.

  8. Myiq2xu™ says:

I got up to go pee and was walking down the hallway barefoot in the dark when I stepped on a dead bird. Apparently Tiggy caught it and brought it home to play with it.

Now he’s pissed at me because I threw it away.

To be fair, it’s not the worst thing I have stepped on in the dark.

  10. Dora says:

I loved the documentary the first time I saw it on the History Channel and now you have reminded me that I’d like to watch it again. Thanks.

Since the morning news is still filled with gorilla stories, I thought it might be interesting to meet the parents.

EXCLUSIVE: The parents-of-four whose son fell into zoo enclosure sparking controversial killing of Harambe the gorilla as it emerges father has a lengthy criminal history

  11. Dora says:

  12. Lulu says:

Camille Paglia is the first writer to connect Trump to his mother’s island roots (Lewis is a island settled by Vikings and her clan were the leaders) so the plane is a “long boat” in a 21st century sort of way.

  13. DeniseVB says:

I think Trump would be comfy on AF1. This is another excellent story about America’s plane, the most important plane in the worrrrrld as the doc claims 🙂

    • Somebody says:

Ha, my husband is in that documentary or at least his voice is. He worked AF-1 on 9-11 this film includes a small segment of the tapes from that day.

      • DeniseVB says:

Wow, your hubby is now a documented part of history! I can’t imagine what that day was like for him. Most of us spent the day waiting for the other shoe to drop and don’t realize that there were many heroes that day keeping us safe. There was much relief once we knew there were no planes left in the sky.

      • Dora says:

Wow! It must have been quite hectic for him. As Denise said – he has now become part of the history of that day. I am impressed and so glad he is alright.

      • foxyladi14 says:

    • AFVet says:

No doubt that AF1 is the flying White House, and a fortress in the air.
I do however think that Obama thinks of it as his toy.
Remember when he sent it to New York for a fly-by and scared the hell out of the people ?

  14. Dora says:

I still remember – not without some bitterness – those people who refused to believe me back in 2008 when I warned them that Obama was a muslim. I hope they are paying attention now.

      God, I hate that woman

    • DeniseVB says:

I despised her from her Chicago days. How the hell did a greasy slumlord become in charge of the most powerful brain in the world ?

      • Anthony says:

I wrote an expose´ on her on 2008 when I was writing for Savage Politics. She was MO’s boss and mentor for years, and when she met young Barry, she had to screen him before she would allow Manzilla to get serious with him.

She approved, made him a community organizer, and the next thing you know he was helping Rezko get millions in earmarked funding to rehabilitate his slums, which he did NOT use for that purpose. Instead, they were demolished and he collected even MORE funds; next step was to help the Grifters buy their Chicago manse. HRC brought it up in a debate, and the MSM turned on her like a pack of rabid hyenas.

I’ve liked her to Mrs. Baylock from “The Omen”:

  16. leslie says:

I want to share what I heard this morning on FBN…
When the question of a third party candidate running against Trump arose, Mike Huckabee said, “Bill Kristol is the sound of one hand clapping.”
I will be in and out today and tomorrow. Have fun everyone. 😘

I haven’t cared much about Couric since her Palin ambush in 2008 and she got an award for it. Unfortunately, Megyn Kelly may be in the same boat. Her attempt at being the next Barbara Walters failed. Even Trump supporters wouldn’t tune in to watch Trump.

  19. DeniseVB says:

  23. Dora says:

I hope you all – or at least a few of you – got to watch that press conference. All I can say is WOW!

    • Anthony says:

Yeah, he was better than I anticipated. The takeaway exchange (paraphrased):

SLEAZY REPORTER: “You’ve been trashing the media for being dishonest throughout your campaign. Is this what we can expect from your Presidency?”

DT: “Yes, if you continue to be dishonest”

  24. Kathy says:

A big ‘Sierra Hotel’ to Trump. That press conference was a beauty..I think he just won the election.

    this was on facebook

As I was waiting in line behind an older gentleman at Wendy’s recently,I heard him ask for his senior discount. The girl at the register apologized and
charged him less. When I asked the man what the discount was, he told me that

    • DeniseVB says:

Great list ! Since we coupon fast food places, most won’t combine that with the senior discount. I know Amtrak won’t combine my senior disc. with my NARP discount.

When I worked at the veterinary hosp. we gave senior disc. and we always carded them because we couldn’t believe they were over a certain age. Marketing !

The new legislation referred to as ‘Hudud Law’ also seeks to segregate women from public life in Kelantan province, a predominantly Muslim northern state.
