Everywhere He Leads, They Go

Trump LGBT 2

Make that your profile pic and watch the heads explode. You’re welcome.

So The Donald gave a speech today, in the midst of the breathless, hour-to-hour network news coverage of Orlando. He had already announced he was holding a press conference on something else, and then that radical Islamic terrorist did the unthinkable. The lovely folks who were celebrating Pride at Pulse did not deserve to die at the hands of a backwards-looking homophobic religious fanatic, and Trump said so. He said the LGBT community deserved to be protected, and they do. He said Hillary was no friend of their’s, and he was right.

Hillary had given a speech an hour before, knowing full well when his presser was scheduled. She was trying to beat him to the punch, to frame the debate. She gave a lot of typical bullshit rhetoric about keeping America safe, but she wouldn’t say from what. Trump called her out on that. A mere two hours later, this was Hillary:

Hillar Radical Islam

This is why The Donald has a good shot at winning this election, even with the press trying to tear him down as hard as they tried to build Obama up in 2008. He leads.

Hillary cannot compete with that. She’s not a leader. She’s been following her whole life.

I’ve been very sorry to read about the deaths and injuries, the permanent maiming of our Orlando friends. Many of us either are gay, or have been allies with the LGBT community for many years.  It’s been painful to watch the press try to bilk every inch of political capital out of this they can. I’ve watched through the progression of the bleed lead, to the gleeful pro-Hillary hand-clapping of a Dem demographic, to the switch up after Trump’s speech of identifying the folks at this gay club as really, actually Hispanic. As the day wore on, they pivoted to gun control.  You can watch them actively massaging this message in real time, and it’s fucking bullshit.

Through it all, they were loath to mention that Trump just gave the support of the presumptive GOP nominee to The Gays. Thank fucking God.

Fuck. This. Shit. #GoTrump. #MakeAmericaGayAgain

Bottom line: This was a terrorist act of mass murder and intolerance. The victims were members of the Orlando gay community who were OUT and PROUD that night, as they have every right to be in this country. End of story.

This is an open thread.

  1. The press is in a frenzy over his speech. I watched Chad Griffin, the leader of the Human Rights Campaign, an ostensibly gay rights org, just go apoplectic on CNN earlier in response to Trump’s speech. He acted like the Dems OWNED the LGBT community, when he should have been celebrating that the community has the support of both sides this year. Idiot.

He acted like the Dems OWNED the LGBT community,

In my village they are have been owned by the Dems for as long as I can recall. I don’t know what it will take to make them open their eyes?

    • Venus says:

The press is in a frenzy because they know how damaging to the Left & Hillary that speech was.

    As seen on FB:

Hey ISIS One, two, Trumps comin’ for you.
Three, four, We are ready for war.
    Five, six, F*ck politics
Seven, eight, You’ve sealed your fate
Nine, ten, America will be great again

Chris Hayes called Trump’s speech “preposterous”. I didn’t want to wait around to hear why he thought so, I kept right on flipping channels. The dysfunction runs very deep in some people.

Finally found a news item on Chick-Fil-a giving out food at the blood banks in Orlando. On a Sunday too. I hope Bill DiBlasio is eating crow now.

Wow, that’s from WaPo? They must tear him apart somewhere in the article though.

This what you had in mind?:
“William Galston, senior fellow at the Brookings Institution who has advised Democratic presidential campaigns, ticked off the characteristics: “intensely nativistic, ethno-centric, exclusionary, angry, fearful.”

“At the bottom of the barrel is the rottenest thing of all, which is conspiratorial thinking, which is guaranteed to pollute every single issue and every single argument,” Galston said. “Conspiratorial thinking is the cesspool of conservative populism. It has analogs on the left, but it is a distinctive phenomenon.”

        • Lulu says:

Conspiratorial thinking is what goes on at Bilderberg. Romney just held a Conspiratorial thinking conference in Utah which was a big bust. Why can they do it but no one else can? And as a “distinctive phenomenon” it has been going on since people were sitting around in caves. Like I have said before I want better elites and smart people. These don’t cut it. They are idiots.

No better way to force the narrative of this being a ‘hate crime’ rather then a ‘terrorist attack’ if you can show the terrorist was secretly gay – or if you can at least throw that narrative out there to cloud the story.

I’m interested in seeing FACTS please… if he was on grinder and jacked ( or gracked and jinder) there would be an undeniable electronic trail, account set-ups, pictures, etc…. and not just “I remember seeing his picture on this gay hookup app ” … There is either a record or not, anything else is just more covering up for Islam….

Whatever Saudi Arabia paid to our politicians to get this kind of protection and cover seems to have been well worth the money.

Both anchor babies. We need “no anchor baby” laws. I don’t trust the Supreme Court so just some new and improved statutory language.

    How Horrifying!

    • Lulu says:

People who were with him on a school bus on 9/11 said he was jumping up and down with joy and happiness. He was 15 then. What exactly has changed? He has been a POS jihadi since BEFORE 9/11. This lone wolf, the internet radicalized him, he got mixed up with the wrong crowd, he might be gay, he saw some men kissing, etc is all bull shit. This stuff starts at home. It starts young. And it only gets worse and more violent as they get older. Of course he was laughing because he was happy and doing what he long wanted to do which is kill infidels.

      • Lulu says:

He had been threatening to shoot people since 5th grade. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3640621/Orlando-shooter-Omar-Mateen-threatened-bring-gun-kill-students-elementary-school-former-classmates-reveal.html “Now classmates who attended the same school as the shooter in Port Lucie have claimed that teachers often had to deal with his unruly behavior and threats of violence against other pupils”.
“She explained that he told a group of children that he planned to bring a weapon into the school and open fire, killing everyone.”
“Ms Hall added that when students told teachers at the school about the threats, they were taken extremely seriously and Mateen was suspended for two weeks.”
“The former classmate also claimed she lived in constant fear of Mateen due to his relentless bullying of her, and even in middle school, he threw chair and spat at teachers.”
“They come after reports that while Mateen was a sophomore in high school, attending a Spectrum Alternative School, a school for students with poor grades or behavioral issues, he cheered during the 9/11 attacks”.

WaPo sure are nasty little buggars, Trump should have revoked their credentials months ago for their bitter clinger reporting…..

It is the National Review, so still find things to criticize, but they do give Trump credit for some of his points, say he is right.
