If you were wondering where your tax dollars are going…

$100 Million here, $100 Million there, and pretty soon you’re talking about real money

The most unqualified President ever sent his Iranian buddies $400 Million as a non-ransom literal pile of cash to coincide with release of four hostages. Coincidentally.

The US secretly flew $400 million stashed inside wooden pallets out to Iran as four Americans were released from Tehran – but the Obama administration insists it was not a ransom payment.
The pallets, which were stuffed with euros, Swiss francs and other foreign currencies, arrived in Tehran on January 17. That same day, four US citizens were released in exchange for seven Iranians held in the United States.
Officials denied any link between the payment and the prisoner exchange, saying the deal was part of a $1.7 billion settlement to resolve a failed 1979 arms deal, the Wall Street Journal reports.

And her’s a nice pic of the guy who hammered out our great Iran deal. Coincidentally his son-in-law’s best man is the son of the guy who was on the Iran side of the deal table.

Kerry at his daughter’s wedding – the best man is the son of his Iranian deal counterpart #Cozy

I’m shocked, shocked I tell you.

  2. blowme0bama says:

Is this getting attention anywhere? Don’t watch MSM. Figure they’ll focus on Trump’s shoes or something for a few days.

  3. votermom says:

What’s important is Manafort is on suicide watch because Trump is uncontrollable.
He found the silverware Manafort hid in the filing cabinet and is using it on all the fried chicken!

    • Anthony says:

Speaking of suicide watch, anyone catch Glenn Beck on Megyn Kelly last night? He looked particularly crazy, and sounded even more unhinged than usual.

      • mcnorman says:

Med dosage was not adjusted for interview.

      • Somebody says:

Yes I happen to have caught that segment waiting for the “breaking news” about the 400 million in cash. Take away from Beck……be scared, be very, very scared of the Russians.

Man oh man the Russian boogeyman seems to be the theme of this campaign. It really is a throw back to the 50’s and 60’s in so many ways. I wonder what the over/under is on a Clinton daisy ad? Oh never mind there already is one, but it sucks. Whoever created this shouldn’t quit their day job.

  4. lateblum says:

WGN-TV News already reported on this story today. Without comment. It was very effectively done. Kinda a mic drop moment on the news when they finished the story with this . . .

“The money was in foreign currency because it is illegal to send US dollars to Iran. The money was a payment toward a settlement for a failed 1979 arms deal.”

The reader just looked straight into the camera and stopped speaking. She usually has something to say after reading the news. I wonder if the producer told her to STFU after this story. Hmmmmm

  7. taw46 says:

    MJ, the mental health expert.

“Robinson appeared yesterday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” and Joe Scarborough—who had a friendly relationship with Trump during the primaries—went off on him:

“I’ve known him for a decade. I’ve never seen him act like this before,” the former GOP congressman said. “It’s unhinged, it’s not the Donald Trump I’ve known for over a decade.”

Scarborough said he has been talking to plenty of Republicans and conservatives, “and everybody was asking me about his mental health.”

    • Somebody says:

Trump’s mental health seems to be an emerging theme. I hope he doesn’t take the bait. Apparently CNN is going to run some kind of one hour deep dive special questioning Trump’s sanity. Funny, I don’t expect them to run a one hour special questioning Hillary and what seems to be a text book case of pathological liar.

    • lyn says:

But Obama and Hillary’s mental health remains unchallenged. These A-holes forget that Trump is not a politician.

      • Somebody says:

That’s what I’m saying. There is plenty to lob at Clinton and/or Obama on the mental health front…….I just think since these accusations are being lobbed at Trump it would be best to let surrogates lob them and not Trump himself. Hillary is a pathological liar, Obama……OMG…..Obama, where do we start? Best to let Newt, Rudy or perhaps one of his children throw a few barbs back. If Trump lashes out then the MSM will insist that is proof they are correct.

Trump has let himself get mired down in too many distractions……time to focus and stay on point……it’s the economy stupid……trade, immigration and national security too. Keep hammering those points and let the surrogates counter punch for a little while. The Clinton campaign and the MSM are trying to kneecap Trump right now and knock him so far back he can’t recover like they did with Romney. The best thing for Trump is to stay on message and to continue to have large rallies which provide a nice contrast to Hillary’s sparsely attended events. He can throw a few barbs, but leave the heavy hitting to surrogates at least until after labor day.

        • lyn says:

I agree. Send this to Trump. Can you imagine being Trump and knowing that the system is out to destroy you?

          • Somebody says:

Send it to Trump, LOL! I wouldn’t begin to know how and I doubt anybody on his campaign staff cares to hear my opinion.

        • Somebody says:

Just heard Mike Pence a few minutes ago he did a great job pushing back against Obama’s statement

      • Mt.Laurel says:

I think any world leader that makes such statements in a foreign country should be questioned not just as to his sanity but to commitment to his own county not to mention putting national security of that country at risk.

Nothing like basically saying don’t like this guy and he may keep the private deals Bobble Head, Horseface and Big Ears and the other Uniparty members put into place so come join our side and get rid of him (and over half our population).

I am really getting tied of the code words being used to calling the professional troublemakers of all sorts to action.

  8. taw46 says:

Oh, it gets better, watch this video. On MJ this morning, they say he is so erratic he will blow up the world. OMG! We are all going to die! He asked about nuclear weapons! Please listen to Mika, she tells you to be very careful!

    • Somebody says:

Once again this seems to be the tactic Hillary plans to employ……Dangerous Don.

Although I think Trump should let his surrogates take the ball on the mental health issues he could counter punch some on the issue of being dangerous…….not defending himself…..no, no…..ignore that or let a surrogate do it. He should, however, lay out the case for why Hillary is dangerous, sticking to facts, pointing out her piss poor record.

As for the nuclear accusations, I’d say it’s time to roll out some of his national security advisors to refute some of this crap AND to nail Obama/Clinton. It’s also time to ferret out the leaker of this ridiculous story and the suicide watch crap.

    • votermom says:

The fact that everyone else in the world knows the US won’t use nukes is a huge weakness.

    • DandyTIger says:

Classic turning around a problem. Hillary has a problem with both physical and mental health. So push really hard that Trump has a mental health problem as a means of inoculating against her own problem. Then when people noticed the occasional health issue with Hillary, everyone will say, well, they both have issues, so it’s a wash.

    • CiscoKid says:

Lions ‘n Trump ‘n nukes, oh my!

I didn’t know the us gave up iranian prisoners too! Wow. Talk about the US having no leverage at all anymore. This admin is weak. So iran got cash and their prisoners for only our prisoners. Plus they got all the positives in the nuke deal while we got nothing except that the ayatollah still wamts us and israel all dead. Wow. The audacity of obama is ridiculous and treasonous.

    • Somebody says:

US issues first-ever private moon flight license

Moon Express, a Florida-based company with headquarters in Cape Canaveral, has finally won US government clearance to send commercial and scientific missions to the moon. Elon Musk’s space company would need a similar license to fly missions to Mars.

  19. mothy67 says:

Praying this overkill against Trump backfires. There has to be a saturation point. Firing on all cylinders without pause. Melania’s pics are already old news. What will they pull out in October? Will anyone even pay attention after almost two years of innuendo and false accusations? The man was accused of rape.
I don’t believe the sanity track will work. He has exhibited restraint and he mocks himself. They had people ready to escort him off the stage at first debate. He played Cruz so well, arriving in the middle of his speech with a smile. Left the death stare to Ivanka.
My experience, crazy people are not aware enough of themselves to laugh.

    • taw46 says:

I already have a headache from all their crap. Trump is a strong man to be able to stand up to them. And I agree, I don’t think they can go all out from now until November. I really do believe they are trying to take him out NOW. In one of those “will Trump resign” articles, it states RNC has until September to choose a replacement and get him on the ballot. That’s the plan, it seems.

    • DeniseVB says:

The anti-Trump spew is coming from all the same players, GOPe, NeverTrump and the entire news media. That which doth not kill him, makes him stronger 😉

They should all get in the venue holds almost 10,000. That video is taken from inside, I can’t tell if there are people waiting outside. If so, hopefully security lines will move quickly so people don’t have to stand out in the heat for any extended time.

      • DeniseVB says:

The media will find a few empty seats and proclaim “Interest in Trump is Waning” 🙂

      • DeniseVB says:

Is your rally tonight in Jax ?

        • Somebody says:

Yes, not sure we’ll get in, there are already people in line. I also read online there is a progressive group that plans to protest. I have a feeling there will be BLM protesters too. The progressive group says they plan to be peaceful and try to engage attendees and convince them “That’s just not who we are…..we’re better than that”, in reference to supporting Trump. Oh how I hope one of those assholes tries to engage me in that way I’ll be calm and nice, but when I’m done it will be like they were blow torched.

The same article I read said that some of the members of the progressive group have tickets for the rally and they plan to protest inside……I guess sort of like the code pink people. Soooo, if I get inside it should be interesting.

          • taw46 says:

Ooh, I have confidence in your ability to blow torch them while being nice! If you have an encounter, record it for us, we love the entertainment. 😉

I do think there is far greater chance of protests in Jacksonville than in Daytona.

  22. DeniseVB says:

Why all the cameras? At least the Trump kid represented well and still have no idea what those ferals where shrieking about.

“This is not your space. This is the space of black and brown lives!”

Fuck her. Public parks are maintained (to a degree) by tax dollars. Get a job, pay taxes, and enjoy the park. I swear to God, if something like that ever happens to me in Central Park or Riverside Park, you’re gonna see me on the news. Or see my mug shot.

Thanks! Will do! (actually, it might be a dating opportunity, so give me a few hours 🙂 )

          • DeniseVB says:

LOL, you’re on a roll Ant’ney <—–my old Brooklynese for cousins named Anthony.

Speaking of NYC parks, have such a nice memory of one of those community gardens, I think it was the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood. My dd and I passed this gorgeous garden of flowers and the gate was open. There were a bunch of folks having a block party so we asked them if it was okay if we could tour their garden. Not only did they say yes, but invited us to join their party! So much fun, great food and giant keg of ice cold beer! I found the lady who was in charge of the garden and gave her $20 to add another pretty plant or two.

          • Anthony says:

Yeppers! Got 7 hours sleep and cut my schedule in half lol.

Love those little gardens. There used to be a community garden on 91st St, where the local folks would grow vegetables and flowers. A developer bought the two tenements on either side and was going to build a high-rise but instead, built two smaller buildings and re-builit the garden instead. Not all NYC landlords are jackasses

      • DeniseVB says:

We’ll definitely start a gofundme for bail money 😉

  23. Dora says:

I don’t know if we’ll get in to Trump’s rally tonight people are already lined up and I can’t leave for at least another hour because I have to wait for my son to get home.

It looks like there may be another fire marshal story in the mix. I wish someone with the campaign would respond. The fire marshal claims the campaign only rented 10,000 of the 15,000 seats. Somehow I think if Hillary were facing the same issue it wouldn’t be a problem.

    • taw46 says:

This is new bullshit, “The Fire Marshal’s office said this is because that’s what the Trump campaign purchased.” I never saw that until the other day in Ohio.

    • taw46 says:

Go and report to us! Hope you make it inside!!!

    • DeniseVB says:

I don’t think the fire marshal’s job is to enforce ticket sales, but to make sure it’s not over capacity which could be a hazard in a fire emergency.

If the venue is close enough, I’d give it a shot. Those in line now want front row or stage seats. If you’re stuck in the nosebleeds, I think it would still be a fun “in person” experience for you.

/advice from the woman too dumb for a smartphone and missing Mike Pence’s townhall at the campus next door to my neighborhood. 🙂

  28. DeniseVB says:

Well, this is going to help Trump. Where was GWB “swiping” at Obama these past 8 years? And Hillary’s already blamed our current terrible economy on inheriting it from GWB.

    • Dora says:

I guess it’s true that attitude has a lot to do with appearance. I always thought that GW was a nice looking man, but in that picture his face looks ugly.

    • Mt.Laurel says:

Little Jebbie is more than enough of a whiner from that contingent.

GW has been silent and quite frankly I think that is the best policy for past presidents. You want to look better not worse. He should have stayed quiet and appeared to take the higher road.

And like with so many other non coincidences – why now.

  29. Dora says:

    Not a bad crowd. 🙂

  30. Dora says:

Love watching the arrival. Everyone is so excited. 🙂
