A Smoking Gun?

Huma Abedin

For over twenty years defenders of Bill and Hillary Clinton have claimed that despite the allegations that have been made there was no proof that they had done anything illegal. And that is almost kinda sorta true. (Except for the lying under oath thingie that got Bill in trouble.) Hillary remains “presumed innocent”.

Until now. A “smoking gun” may have been found. The term “smoking gun” comes from movies and books where a character is found standing over a dead body with a smoking gun, a situation which is considered nearly incontrovertible proof of guilt.

Huma Abedin may be the smoking gun.

New Abedin Emails Reveal Hillary Clinton State Department Gave Special Access to Top Clinton Foundation Donors

Judicial Watch today released 725 pages of new State Department documents, including previously unreleased email exchanges in which former Hillary Clinton’s top aide Huma Abedin provided influential Clinton Foundation donors special, expedited access to the secretary of state. In many instances, the preferential treatment provided to donors was at the specific request of Clinton Foundation executive Douglas Band.

The new documents included 20 Hillary Clinton email exchanges not previously turned over to the State Department, bringing the known total to date to 191 of new Clinton emails (not part of the 55,000 pages of emails that Clinton turned over to the State Department). These records further appear to contradict statements by Clinton that, “as far as she knew,” all of her government emails were turned over to the State Department.

The Abedin emails reveal that the longtime Clinton aide apparently served as a conduit between Clinton Foundation donors and Hillary Clinton while Clinton served as secretary of state. In more than a dozen email exchanges, Abedin provided expedited, direct access to Clinton for donors who had contributed from $25,000 to $10 million to the Clinton Foundation. In many instances, Clinton Foundation top executive Doug Band, who worked with the Foundation throughout Hillary Clinton’s tenure at State, coordinated closely with Abedin. In Abedin’s June deposition to Judicial Watch, she conceded that part of her job at the State Department was taking care of “Clinton family matters.”

Included among the Abedin-Band emails is an exchange revealing that when Crown Prince Salman of Bahrain requested a meeting with Secretary of State Clinton, he was forced to go through the Clinton Foundation for an appointment. Abedin advised Band that when she went through “normal channels” at State, Clinton declined to meet. After Band intervened, however, the meeting was set up within forty-eight hours. According to the Clinton Foundation website, in 2005, Salman committed to establishing the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP) for the Clinton Global Initiative. And by 2010, it had contributed $32 million to CGI. The Kingdom of Bahrain reportedly gave between $50,000 and $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation. And Bahrain Petroleum also gave an additional $25,000 to $50,000.

Oops. The legal term here is “quid pro quo”, which means “something for something”. If you want me (your elected official) to do an official act, you will have to pay me some money. The common term for this is “graft.” The legal term is “bribery”.

Of course Hillary will deny all knowledge of this.

Here’s what Donald Trump had to say about it:

As the evidence has become public over the last several months, I have become increasingly shocked by the vast scope of Hillary Clinton’s criminality.

Hillary Clinton said she turned over all of her work related emails. She testified that to Congress under penalty of perjury. Now we learn about another 15,000 emails she failed to turn over have just been discovered.

Colin Powell just proved again how dishonest Hillary Clinton is after he busted her for trying to pin her email scandal on him – one more Hillary Clinton lie.

Her Foundation took in large payments from major corporations and wealthy individuals, foreign and domestic, all while she was Secretary of State.

The Clinton Foundation accepted as much as $60 million dollars from Middle Eastern countries that oppress women, gays and people of different faiths.

The Foundation donors included corporations and individuals with significant matters before the State Department. And then either Hillary Clinton herself or one of her closest aides took action favorable to the donor.

Her actions corrupted and disgraced one of the most important Departments of government, indeed one of only four established by the United States Constitution itself.

The Clintons’ made the State Department into the same kind of Pay-to-Play operations as the Arkansas Government was: pay the Clinton Foundation huge sums of money and throw in some big speaking fees for Bill Clinton and you got to play with the State Department.

The amounts involved, the favors done and the significant numbers of times it was done require an expedited investigation by a Special Prosecutor. After the FBI and Department of Justice whitewash of the Clinton email crimes, they certainly cannot be trusted to quickly or impartially investigate Hillary Clinton’s crimes.

Some former prosecutors have even suggested that the coordination between the pay-for-play State Department and the corrupt Clinton Foundation constitute a clear example of a RICO (Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organization) enterprise.

The Justice Department is required to appoint an independent Special Prosecutor because it has proven itself to be a political arm of the White House.

The DOJ has acted very unethically, particularly the Attorney General’s private lengthy meeting with Bill Clinton shortly before the Department’s decision not to prosecute her for crimes that would have been prosecuted against almost any other citizen.

If the Justice Department fails to do so, it will make it even clearer that a second of the four primary constitutional Departments have been corrupted.

I’m sure the media will immediately assign their best people to get to the bottom of this.

(Just kidding)

Well since it is Tuesday, I will repeat a tin foil theory I have seen several places. That Hillary is actually better than she appears but is making it look worse Foil Theory A’ers that if by some small miracle she actually is held accountable for any of her criminal acts, she will get off & have the public’s sympathy because of her health. Foil Theory B’ers think she is trying to make it look like people will decide to vote for her because people were mean to a sick old lady and that will help them cover their tracks on ballot fraud.

In all fairness, everything we are seeing with Hillary could be attributed to some relatively innocuous things. She could have arthritis in her hips, or sciatica, which would make standing for long periods , or wearing heels and climbing stairs difficult. The coughing could be from something as minor as post nasal drip. That head bobbing thing is downright weird though, and she simply does not look well.
I think age is definitely catching up with her, and she absolutely could have some deficits from having hit her head when she fell, and the aneurysm.
How completely ironic for the candidate with the hospital sign as her logo.

Barack Obama will hand over control of the internet to an “international governing body” in just a few weeks – October 1st without an Act of Congress.

This poses an incredible risk to the future of the internet in America and it will endanger virtually every area of American society from private businesses to our military.

The Protecting Internet Freedom Act (HR 5418 and S. 3034) would stop Obama from giving away control of the internet and protect the US from future taxation of the internet by the United Nations.

OT…..asking everyone for any ideas. My teen daughter has hand, foot and mouth disease…..it’s a virus usually only seen in kids under 5. Apparently if you’re older and you get it, it’s hell. Having been through cancer treatment I’ve managed to keep mouth sores in check with magic mouthwash and a glutamine solution, but her feet are horrific. Terrible, so bad the doctors took pictures because they’ve never seen feet this bad.

Do any of you know of anything that will calm and soothe a painful rash? It’s a rash that turns into blisters, sort of like chicken pox, but not really itchy it’s more a deep painful rash like shingles.

The doctor put her on steroids to reduce the swelling her feet are huge they’re so swollen. They also gave her narcotics because she’s in so much pain. They gave her a prescription lidocaine cream and a prescription steroid cream and we’re using ice packs, but I was hoping maybe some of you knew of something……some herb or concoction of some sort that might soothe and heal??

    • blowme0bama says:

Never heard of it. Awful. Sorry.

    • votermom says:

I’m sorry. I will try to look stuff up. I have heard that there is a more virulent strain of the Coxsackie virus around these days.
      (gentle hugs)

      • Somebody says:

You know I’ve always thought HFM was caused by coxsackie and in fact it is, but they told me yesterday that there are 16-17 viruses that can cause it???? The doctor said they have a horrific outbreak right now in China that isn’t limited to young children, then he joked with my daughter about did she sneak off to China……I was thinking more like who’s been to China and brought this crap here.

Apparently this is going around our area, although again my daughter’s case is pretty severe. It went around last year and now again this year. Is it going around your area too? Is that where you heard about it??? I wonder where it came from??

I know coxsackie is one of several enteroviruses, apparently there are many enteroviruses that can cause HFM.

        • lyn says:

        • votermom says:

Different strains of Coxsackie. I was reading an article from 2013. They blamed Indonesia for that particular strain.

Sometimes toenails may get shed. Don’t freak out if that happens.

Not to add to worries but I also read an article that coxsackie infections (and also mumps & rubella) may sometimes coincide with the onset of juvenile diabetes. Just be aware and ask the doctor about it.

I will be praying for your teen to be healthy asap.

        • Anthony says:

Is she now or has she ever been on Sulfa drugs? If so, there’s a possibility that condition could be erythema multiforme, which will evolve into a more serious Stevens-Johnson syndrome. There are other reasons this could manifest. Google each, and look at pics as well as read articles on web.md and/or Mayo clinic. I had it from sulfa drugs, and it was misdiagnosed as a couple of things, including HFM. Hope this helps – good luck to you both!

          • Somebody says:

Thanks for the tip Anthony, she’s had more sulfa drugs than you can shake a stick at. She’s had super antibiotics. She’s a cancer survivor.

          • Anthony says:

Please bring that up along with the erythema multiforme and Steven-Johnson syndrome to her doctor gently. When I found out about it, my Dr was a little out of joint that his patient had found the reason for this painful and frightening symptom. Best of luck, and please press them on this. Its very easy to treat and resolve if it is indeed one of those two

Have you tried echinacea and astragalus teas? They are antiviral and should help. Epsom salts and a bit of lavendar oil are good for a soothing soak.

Sometimes lemonbalm helps with sores, but that is usually herpes. If you get the mouth sores, lemonbalm tea helps. If you have open sores, then using the lemonbalm leaves on the sores helps.

      • Somebody says:

I was just reading about astragalus in the link VM posted. According to a naturalist that is the only herb that fights HFM. I really, really want to get some.

We have to avoid anything with echinaceana or at least we try to, in some studies it’s contraindicated in leukemia survivors…….better safe than sorry.

I’ve gotten a lot of good tips, especially from your link VM. I’m hoping my son doesn’t lolly gag and gets home at a decent time so I can make it to our small little health food store. It’s small, but they have a pretty nice inventory, I’m hoping to find some of the items I’ve found while searching today and those suggested here.

Speaking of my son, if I were in his shoes I’d run screaming from this house with my kids…..but I’m a germaphobe. I told him about his sister yesterday morning, made him help get her moved from one location to the other yesterday afternoon and then this morning I moved in for the kill. I pulled back the covers and showed him his sister’s feet. He was completely grossed out, but didn’t seem too concerned his kids would contract it since he headed out the door for work. If the roles were reversed I would have grabbed my kids, run home and scrubbed them down with iodine and alcohol, LOL!! He has leave, both sick and annual. Oh well if his kids get sick, they get sick.

        • Somebody says:

To be fair, my daughter is in her room and incapable really of getting up and moving around so I guess my son figures his kids are pretty safe……mainly because he knows me and knows I scrub up like I’m going into an OR any time I deal with DD or go into her room……germaphobe. I also spray all dishes she touches with disinfectant and then run them through sanitize cycle of the dishwasher……germaphobe!

I’m popping every preventative concoction on the market. I….do….not….want…to…get…this!!!

Does your son understand that little kiddies scream a lot louder when in pain from sores? Yikes!!!! I wouldn’t want to be in the house if the kiddos come down with it. Hope your daughter does well soon.

L-Lysine is very effective in treating , reducing duration and severity of symptoms, in all types of herpes viral infections, and may also be effective in treating coxsackie viral infections. The L-L lysine is an amino acid, that ties up on a molecular level, nutrients the virus needs to be viable. It is OTC and inexpensive. You can ask your doc about it, if you are uncertain, but it really helps reduce symptoms, and also duration of infection. A friend of mine had a huge herpes blister on her butt, took L-Lysine, and within one day the blister went down.
Magic mouthwash, Benadryl, Maalox, and viscous Lidocaine, can help with oral blisters and mouth pain.
Sending lots and lots of healing!!!

ur current government and cultural environment:

    1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.

Funny how that works. And here’s another one worth considering…

    2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. But we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money ! What’s interesting is the first group “worked for” their money, but the second didn’t.

Think about it…..and Last but not least :

    3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens.

Am I the only one missing something?

Cries of racial profiling is rampant, but now the cries have changed to this.
Eight-year-old Jamia Barnes was playing Sunday evening on a front lawn near a vigil for a teenage boy killed hours earlier when she saw a man in a car arguing with a woman outside.

“Somebody had the gun in their lap … and he got it out and started shooting,” recounted the soft-spoken third-grader, fiddling with the bandage on her right wrist and pulling at her hair.
It’s always tragic when an innocent gets shot. Not the 14-year-old. He was just following in his grandmother’s footsteps, who has her own record for dealing dope. But the 8-year-old didn’t make life choices that lead to being shot.

Mope-rah quoted grandma in a column Monday (no link for Mopey):
“In the 1980s, there was a War on Drugs. Now there has to be a War on Guns. Police are going to have to pull over these young men in these cars with tinted windows, Davis said.

“Police ride right past, instead of pulling over these guys with these big shirts where they are hiding guns. They need to kick in some of these doors. The guns are right here under your nose. How do you get the guns off the street,” she asked rhetorically.

“You ride around and stop these guys.”
This is grandma who’s done prison time for dope. And she’s giving the Department “street lawyer” advice to pull people over, kick in doors and stop folks based on……

Sorry, we stopped listening to what we were typing for a second there.

It’s over boys and girls. Until there is a wholesale shakeup in the political order, the loud and lawless have won. Let them sort it out.

One day, they’ll demand and scream at the police to “do something!” And we’ll whisper from our retirement home far away from here, “no.”
