Heard Eric Trump being interviewed on the radio.
He seems really smart and quick on his feet. Very detailed on issues, and when the radio host asked him about his opinion on Hillary’s health, he said while he wasn’t one to comment on someone else’s health, he can say that his dad is has incredible energy (turned it into a whole thing about his dad’s positives).
Donald brought his boys to Regent U’s Pat Robertson forum this past winter. Both spoke about Dad for a few moments and they were such well spoken and personable young men without being slobbery. Dad was just beaming. This family is so infectious with like. Even more so than Mitt’s boys who(m) I really enjoyed as well.
On the other hand, Chelsea’s sure getting a media pass on the stupid stuff she says, unlike Ivanka, nobody asks her about Bill’s woman problem 😉

I can understand this man’s family members being distraught, they’ve just lost a loved no matter what the circumstances turn out to be. We can all understand they are emotional. Seriously though, ask yourself this……if it was one of us, same situation since this is a black officer. One of us and our loved one was shot by a black police officer, if yelled out slurs against all black people we’d be branded a racist. So then why does our society indulge this type of behavior from those in the AA community??

A sports radio personality that I used to follow put out a tweet yesterday saying something to the effect of “Where are the videos of White people, Hispanic people and Asian people being shot by police? This is a real problem people!!”.
The fact is there are MORE white people shot by police than black people, but no one cares when a white person is shot.
NO ONE approves of excessive force. I had a close friend when I was around 21-22 and we were at a bar hanging around the edge of a stage. A guitar was stolen and for some reason, this cop got it in his head that my bud had stolen it and hidden it somewhere or gave it to someone. They handcuffed my friend and beat the ever loving SHIT out of him, right behind the bar trying to get him to confess to stealing the guitar. They then charged him with public drunk, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest (his uncle was a long time deputy sheriff of the county the bar was in and the charges were all dropped). I KNOW there are bad cops. I’m sure there is some tiny minority of cops who are racists, just like there is in any population, but I have no reason to think that by and large this is a RACE issue as much as it’s a non-discriminatory excessive force issue (in some instances – in the nationally prominent cases, its been a failure of BLM to understand what “justified force” means and why it is necessary for police to do their job).
Isn’t Cops still on the air? Very few blacks get the heave ho from the bad boys on that show. Maybe next time a thug kills a cop, we should go loot and roll some cars in their neighborhood ?
I feel that many cops are prone to ‘abuse of power’ – ‘abuse of authority’ issues.
Almost every time I’ve ever been stopped (traffic issues) by a cop – as a pretty passive now middle aged White Guy – I sense that they are in control, they have the power, they have authority over me.
I’m not thrilled with this attitude, and believe that far more could be done to train officers how to respect citizens rather than general fear and superiority.
I have also run into genuinely nice, respectful officers – but I’d say 75-80% of the ones I’ve ever had to deal with are of the more aggressive/superior/authoritative type.

There’s a dichotomy at work that makes it difficult for many cops to cope. When we’re stopped or even approached by cops, we’re no longer IN control. The state is – represented by them. We don’t like handing off control to the state, but that’s the law. The agent of the state has a superior right – to be safe – than do we yo our freedom of movement, for the length of the contact. Therein lies the rub. Some cops are so cool in maintaining their safety and control over us that we barely notice it. Other’s don’t. YMMV
In my experience a lot of the aggressiveness in cops is rooted in fear. They are afraid so they overcompensate.
But nowadays most departments will fire a cop toot sweet for using racial epithets or using excessive force. The single biggest thing keeping bad cops on the job is union protection.

Well, I understand that cops are in charge and the that I need to be compliant, but as I says above – even as a passive citizen – I find that most cops take extra special care in making certain you know you are at their mercy, and they can make things unpleasant for you.
I sense the job of cop attracts people who are into control and authority over others, that’s just the vibe I get (and sometimes it’s more then a vibe)… And it has NOTHING to do with race, it is all about their authority.
I understand that is the trade off to some degree, but since I know they are in charge (hence the passiveness), do they have to go out of their way to show or tell you how ‘in charge’ they are? It’s belittling, and really shouldn’t be part of their job… at least that’s how I feel.
I hope they (and Hillary) know this only helps Trump in NC. This.is.Obama’s.legacy !

When I read something like this, I always look for both the intended and the unintended consequences. I think the intended consequences of this is to make the price of dairy products and beef so high people will cut back on consumption. A major goal of the alt-left is make us all vegans. But if forcing farmers to turn manure into energy they can use themselves or sell to a utility company turns out to be profitable, we might see farmers raising more cows and substituting chemical fertilizers for the manure they’re currently recycling by spreading it on their fields.
Milk is already $6.99 half gallon in my local market. A little cheaper in Midtown, higher in UWS (because they think that everyone in my zip code is filthy rich)
I thought there was a cap on what they could charge for milk. I know here its same price in 7/11 as in grocery store. May be a state thing.
I dunno, but I bought some last week in Midtown when I came back from my NJ office, and it was $1.50 less for same brand of 2%. Checked other stores in both neighborhoods a few times since, and pricing is the same as what I experienced.

She’ll be there. I think all of this skipping and being hidden is about debate preparation and maximizing health for the debate itself.
