Heard Eric Trump being interviewed on the radio.
He seems really smart and quick on his feet. Very detailed on issues, and when the radio host asked him about his opinion on Hillary’s health, he said while he wasn’t one to comment on someone else’s health, he can say that his dad is has incredible energy (turned it into a whole thing about his dad’s positives).

    • DeniseVB says:

Donald brought his boys to Regent U’s Pat Robertson forum this past winter. Both spoke about Dad for a few moments and they were such well spoken and personable young men without being slobbery. Dad was just beaming. This family is so infectious with like. Even more so than Mitt’s boys who(m) I really enjoyed as well.

On the other hand, Chelsea’s sure getting a media pass on the stupid stuff she says, unlike Ivanka, nobody asks her about Bill’s woman problem 😉

    • taw46 says:

According to what I read, she live steamed this on Facebook for over an hour (video you posted last thread). If true, this was all OK with FB.

Interesting that mother fucking (fill in the blank) is okay, but “deplorable” is not.
So glad I’m not on FB.

      • mothy67 says:

I had to quit fb or I was going to say things I might regret to friends of many years. Funny thing is I’ve discovered mostly via email that I don’t honestly like them anymore.

I saw this on CTH early this morning and it set the tone for me today.

    • Somebody says:

All white people are fucking devils……make sure you get that……all white cops are fucking devils and white people……ya’ll are fucking devils.

Golly bums, where is my white guilt?? Only white people are racist don’t ya know.

I can understand this man’s family members being distraught, they’ve just lost a loved no matter what the circumstances turn out to be. We can all understand they are emotional. However, to go off on a racist screed and condemn all white people shows racism against whites at their core. The absolute irony is that it was a black officer that apparently shot the man.

Seriously though, ask yourself this……if it was one of us, same situation since this is a black officer. One of us and our loved one was shot by a black police officer, if yelled out slurs against all black people we’d be branded a racist. We’d be social pariahs no matter if the shooting of our family member turned out to be completely unjustified. So then why does our society indulge this type of behavior from those in the AA community??

At what point are we going to stop tip toeing and call racism out in all forms, from every corner??

      • taw46 says:

And the thing is, we would never do this. That is never pointed out by the media. No, by their actions, they encourage the destruction of law and order in our society. It will “get” them one day, make no mistake. Idiots.

      • mothy67 says:

Do these continual riots not negate the omnipresent argument for diversity. We can’t handle what we have so lets import more problems.
        I think they help Trump.

      • blowme0bama says:

A sports radio personality that I used to follow put out a tweet yesterday saying something to the effect of “Where are the videos of White people, Hispanic people and Asian people being shot by police? This is a real problem people!!”.

The fact is there are MORE white people shot by police than black people, but no one cares when a white person is shot.

NO ONE approves of excessive force. I had a close friend when I was around 21-22 and we were at a bar hanging around the edge of a stage. A guitar was stolen and for some reason, this cop got it in his head that my bud had stolen it and hidden it somewhere or gave it to someone. They handcuffed my friend and beat the ever loving SHIT out of him, right behind the bar trying to get him to confess to stealing the guitar. They then charged him with public drunk, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest (his uncle was a long time deputy sheriff of the county the bar was in and the charges were all dropped). I KNOW there are bad cops. I’m sure there is some tiny minority of cops who are racists, just like there is in any population, but I have no reason to think that by and large this is a RACE issue as much as it’s a non-discriminatory excessive force issue (in some instances – in the nationally prominent cases, its been a failure of BLM to understand what “justified force” means and why it is necessary for police to do their job).

        • DeniseVB says:

Isn’t Cops still on the air? Very few blacks get the heave ho from the bad boys on that show. Maybe next time a thug kills a cop, we should go loot and roll some cars in their neighborhood ?

        • jeffhas says:

I feel that many cops are prone to ‘abuse of power’ – ‘abuse of authority’ issues.

Almost every time I’ve ever been stopped (traffic issues) by a cop – as a pretty passive now middle aged White Guy – I sense that they are in control, they have the power, they have authority over me.

I’m not thrilled with this attitude, and believe that far more could be done to train officers how to respect citizens rather than general fear and superiority.

I have also run into genuinely nice, respectful officers – but I’d say 75-80% of the ones I’ve ever had to deal with are of the more aggressive/superior/authoritative type.

          • 49erDweet says:

There’s a dichotomy at work that makes it difficult for many cops to cope. When we’re stopped or even approached by cops, we’re no longer IN control. The state is – represented by them. We don’t like handing off control to the state, but that’s the law. The agent of the state has a superior right – to be safe – than do we yo our freedom of movement, for the length of the contact. Therein lies the rub. Some cops are so cool in maintaining their safety and control over us that we barely notice it. Other’s don’t. YMMV

          • In my experience a lot of the aggressiveness in cops is rooted in fear. They are afraid so they overcompensate.

But nowadays most departments will fire a cop toot sweet for using racial epithets or using excessive force. The single biggest thing keeping bad cops on the job is union protection.

          • 49erDweet says:

            Absolutely right. On both counts.

          • jeffhas says:

Well, I understand that cops are in charge and the that I need to be compliant, but as I says above – even as a passive citizen – I find that most cops take extra special care in making certain you know you are at their mercy, and they can make things unpleasant for you.

I sense the job of cop attracts people who are into control and authority over others, that’s just the vibe I get (and sometimes it’s more then a vibe)… And it has NOTHING to do with race, it is all about their authority.

I understand that is the trade off to some degree, but since I know they are in charge (hence the passiveness), do they have to go out of their way to show or tell you how ‘in charge’ they are? It’s belittling, and really shouldn’t be part of their job… at least that’s how I feel.

      • DeniseVB says:

I hope they (and Hillary) know this only helps Trump in NC. This.is.Obama’s.legacy !

I’ve been seeing Don King in the media for years and hearing the stories, but I’ve never heard him give a speech before. He was great!

    • Somebody says:

Heard on the TV Don King dropped the N word so that’s sure to be a meme of the day. Along with the continuing Trump foundation stuff.

I think Trump should challenge Hillary to audits……he’ll have the Trump foundation audited by a firm of her choice if she and Bill agree to have the Clinton foundation audited by a firm of his choice.

Hubby is sure she won’t be there. He has been telling me that for days.

    • Somebody says:

Nah, I seriously doubt she’ll cancel. Hillary is a policy wonk she loves debates

    • DandyTIger says:

She’ll be there. I think all of this skipping and being hidden is about debate preparation and maximizing health for the debate itself. They’re putting it all on the line for the debate because they know it will make or break the campaign. Either she knocks it out of the park and gets Trump on the ropes and turns around the numbers, or she’s toast. Everything they’re doing rides on getting under Trumps skin, or making him look stupid. All or nothing.

OT, I feel like I’m in some kind of shock therapy session to overcome fears and phobias. I’m in a pediatricians office waiting room filled with hacking, rash kids. We’re here for a quick well check so middle grand baby has all clear for MRI on Monday.

I have literally cordoned off and area and blocked it with chairs. Other kids not an issue keeping grandkids in is problem. Plus pretty sure I’m going to run out of hand sanitizer despite having back up.

And another thing……I want to take a shower!

  26. CiscoKid says:

I just finished watching the re-play of that event.
    I’ll try to make sense.
1st, the Democrats have been promising the Promise Land for over a hundred years to the AA’s.
The Dem’s haven’t produced s**t. Only unemployment, crime, drug addiction and criminal gangs and a educational system that is broke and leaving their children behind.
2nd, the AA community is realizing that, finally.
In regards to a previous post I made about Mr. Koffler’s perspective on how Trump should handle the debate, if followed, is a winning strategy .
If the Dem’s “strategy” is just to say nothing and let Trump step in do-do, they have made a B-I-G mistake.
After tonight’s presentation at the New Spirit Revival Center Trump has become a more formidable foe on the debate stage.
