One of my friends takes in cats from a shelter who are sick. She nurses them back to health and then returns them to the shelter to be adopted. Her latest medical foster looks more like a black and white guernsey cow than a kitten. He’s one of the strangest looking cats I’ve seen, and his laryngitis makes his meows sound more like moos.

    • One of the things I liked about Uppity was her covert pet “rescues”.

Me, too. Among other good qualities.

      • elliesmom says:

My friend is a retired ICU nurse. These cats get the very best of care. The shelter calls her when they get a cat or kitten in that needs special care for awhile. I asked her if it was hard to return them to the shelter. She said it was always hard to say good-bye to her patients, but they needed to go to a home so she can take care of another sick kitty. Just like the people she used to take care of. I’m afraid if I volunteered to help, I’d become the neighborhood cat lady.

    • 49erDweet says:

The only cat I’ve ever abided was a mixed Siamese/Russian Blue w/blue eyes, named “Bullet”, because of her color. She only made a noise that sounded like a dog retching. She bonded so tight to me that she wouldn’t eat if I weren’t there. Strange cat. She may have thought she was a German Shepherd.

Back in the early eighties, dh went on a 6 month deployment to Beirut. I brought home a baby kitty for the kids to nurture while baby daddy was gone. Dh came home, yay, but he was REALLY allergic to cats. He couldn’t breathe in the house. He said it’s ME or the CAT. I asked him for a couple of days to think about it. (Sigh. I can’t be a cat lady unless he pre-deceases me). Her name was *Pussy*, did find a new home at the local hardware store, Clinton Williams Hardware. Ok, I’m freaking myself out recalling all of this😉

There are earlier emails nearer when she was on the show (and for years after) and she is trying to get a job with Trump Inc. And then there are the Hillary emails about setting all of this up way back in May I think. I wonder how much they paid or promised to pay these gals and if their legals bills will be covered. Everyone one of them who have been researched have money problems or something similar. The attorney who said she saw Trump harass other women had the saddest begging emails that she was broke and needed the Trump job back that she had quit. Her current legal experience at the time of the email was suing retailers for herself to make a buck. Will women do this for a buck? Absolutely.

Hillary came to Seattle yesterday. She went directly to downtown Seattle at around 3pm, remember we are having a 4 day set of wind and rain storms forecast to cause power outages, flooding, possible mud slides etc and advice is to “just stay home”. So she clogs up traffic at the start of rush hour, which affects working people, and of course she meets with a select few who have paid to see her. The headline this morning…Clinton calls election “painful, allegations against Donald Trump are causing divisions that will need to be healed.”
This is Seattle, we build Boeing planes here, every little airport anywhere near here can land a 737. When Trump comes he lands outside the city and he doesn’t stop rush hour by coming into the city, he lets thousands into his events to see him for free. He just seems a whole lot more populist than Clinton. She also is a blatant liar. At this point I don’t trust anything she says. I have never seen anyone lie with such authority since my last ex-husband. She needs to be stopped and our country needs to move beyond the influence of Clinton, Obama and the Progs.

Eh, if they don’t have Hillary on tape, it won’t matter. “Directly involved” isn’t the same as on tape. I think he would have said if she’s on tape. I predict a nothingburger like all the Wikileaks so far. Not that they’re not devastating in many ways, but that they don’t change any votes.

At least 21 people were shot across the city from Friday evening to Saturday morning, leaving seven dead, according to Chicago Police.

The weekend’s latest homicide happened Saturday morning in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

  22. 1 month before the election and suddenly all these women are coming out of the woodwork. As fast as Trump debunks each one a new one emerges.

    • Mt.Laurel says:

I want to know if anyone women are going to complain about Hillda groping them? After all, Bill is on record saying she got way more the he did and we know Billy was a very very busy little bee.

Not to mention all this does from my point of view is push all women under the bus. Why hire women when the only thing they are good for is to cry trigger trigger trigger because just because a man exists. It has become acceptable to come forward and say anything that is suddenly pops into their heads after years/decades have passed. No one has ever heard of any of these cases before and goodness knows Trump has been on the cover magazines/papers since he was in short pants. He has probably had his life picked apart as much, of not more, that Elizabeth Taylor or Marilyn Monroe.

It’s disgusting that the first female presidential candidate of the UniParty has to use sexism against her white male opponent to win.

      • 49erDweet says:

There’s truth to that. I know of a few women who were promoted or transferred to out-of-the-way places by their female boss bc they were really, really quick on playing the unwarranted fem victim card. Career killers.

      From October 10th. Yoko sez…
Yoko Ono, “I had an affair with Hillary Clinton”

Yoko Ono shocked reporters Sunday in Los Angeles when she responded to a question concerning the Presidential run of Hillary Clinton.

The widow of John Lennon, who is in Los Angeles to present a collection she is exhibiting at the Museum of Modern Art, took reporters by surprise saying she had not only met the former 1st Lady at various times during a series of protests against the Vietnam War in New York in the 1970’s but had known her “intimately”.

Ms. Ono admitted laughingly to having an affair with her at the time. This and other such happenings are something of a well know, easily recognizable, but mostly unspoken till now *proclivity of Mrs. Clinton. The LBGTQ flags are always flying her.

*a tendency to choose or do something regularly; an inclination or predisposition toward a particular thing.

Hillary Clinton has been hit by a series of allegations of being a Lesbian in her career which could/should undermine her bid for the Presidency, according to some experts
Yoko Ono when asked about her thoughts about Hillary’s run for the Presidency completely took reporters by surprise.

“We met many times during the New York Vietnam War protests in the 1970’s, and became very intimate. We shared many of the same values about sexual equality, fighting against the authoritarian, patriarchal, male-dominated society we were raised in” she explained.

“We had a brief romantic fling when I lived with John in Manhattan and Hillary was studying at Yale, but eventually we lost touch. I am amazed how things are going well for her and wish her the best for her campaign” she told reporters during the press conference.

Ms. Ono’s statement could affect Mrs. Clinton’s bid for the presidency, previous allegations of Hillary Clinton’s lesbian past have not seemed to play against the front runner for the 2016 Democratic Presidential race yet. But now that she has been outed by such a prominent figure as Yoko Ono it cannot be “brushed off” as innuendo and rumor.

There are no Marques of Queensbury rules in this campaign, Mrs. Clinton has seen to that.

My humble advice to Donald Trump, take no prisoners on the Road to the White House.

I have to admit, Yoko has managed to stretch her 15 minutes out longer than just about anyone else on the planet. Not sure Yoko’s tune would get much notice. Never once has there been any hint of Hill hitting on a guy or visa versa. It has always been rumors of her latest gal pal – and once Huma hit the scene – well . . . .

I was thinking more along the lines of Hillary with her own cadre of interns/staff. There have been rumors thought the DC area since the early 90s that there were other duties as assigned for all female staffers in the Bill & Hill administration. There have always been stories that there were some – shall we say heated discussions – when both were interested in pursuing the same person.

I think he even sold some of his creations.
