Lefties are loosing their shit:

Acquittal of Bundys is proof of racial double standards — and a greenlight for right-wing terrorism

When the Raw Story visited the Bundy bunch inside the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge they were calling for a revolution against the federal government. Rifle-toting supporters said, “ I’m here to fight for freedom and get our Constitution back,” and “I would support this to the death, literally.”

Now eight months after their occupation came to an end the government case has ended in a jury acquitting the two Bundy brothers and five other supporters on all charges but one, including the main one of conspiracy. The government failed to prove the Bundy Bunch “had engaged in an illegal conspiracy that kept federal workers — employees of the Fish and Wildlife Service and the Bureau of Land Management — from doing their jobs.”

The jury’s logic is not known yet, but it is a double standard that almost certainly turns on race. If a group of heavily armed Muslim Americans or Black Lives Matter activists seized public facilities and land, the government would have rushed in with all guns blazing and anyone who survived would be locked up for life. The record of post-9/11 terror prosecutions is littered with hundreds of cases of entrapment, paid informants, and “fake terror plots.”

For more than a decade the feds have also prosecuted similarly flimsy cases against environmental, animal-rights, and Occupy Wall Street activists, known as the “Green Scare.” Numerous peaceful activists have been sentenced to prison for more than a decade for little more than conversations egged on by paid FBI provocateurs. Even in cases where violence was planned, no one was ever injured and it was often completely instigated and organized by the government.

But when it comes to the Bundys, they actively planned the illegal armed takeover. At least two months before the refuge occupation began Jan. 2, 2016, the Bundys visited local sheriff Dave Ward and warned him to prevent two local ranchers convicted of arson from going to federal prison. According to Ward, the Bundys said they would “bring hundreds of people to town [and] attempt to overpower or overthrow my authority as sheriff.”

Inside Malheur, in a two-hour conversation with Ammon Bundy in his pickup truck, when this reporter pointed out their intent was to spark a violent uprising against the government, he did not deny it. Militia members openly carried weapons on federal land, which is illegal, and the Raw Story witnessed the militia stealing and damaging government equipment, violating the law in tearing up sensitive archeological sites, and building barricades and bunkers for an apocalyptic showdown. The Bundys also set up a kangaroo court to indict, try, convict, and remove government officials from office.

Yet according to the jury the government did not prove a conspiracy. Meanwhile, halfway across the country in North Dakota, a huge force of police and private security are viciously attacking Native Americans peacefully protecting their land from the ravages of the oil and gas industry.

The Bundy case is more proof of the well-documented racial bias embedded in the jury system. The notion that an armed militia with snipers stationed in the watchtower, blockading all road into the refuge and vowing to die for their cause did not impede federal workers from doing their job is as absurd as it sounds and is an indictment of the deep racial biases in America.

The silver lining is the Bundy brothers and their father still face trial for their violent confrontation in Nevada with government officials in 2014 over their refusal to pay $1 million in overdue grazing fees on federal lands.

The Bundy acquittal will embolden violent right-wing militias to seize other public lands, especially West of the Rockies where there is a movement funded by the Koch Brothers to undermine federal control of huge swaths of land.

Undoubtedly these violent militias will be aided and abetted by legions of Trump’s supporters calling for a “violent revolution” if Clinton wins the presidency as expected. The government’s hands-off approach toward the militia movement is a failure. This isn’t a call for more repression as used against Muslims, African-Americans, and left-wing activists. It’s a demand the government protect the public and its lands from the growing threat of right-wing terrorism.

I’m guessing that the acquittals have something to do with the numerous (15) undercover informants that were actively involved in the stand-off. So far I have only seen one news story that even mentions those informants.

We’ll Just Go Ahead and File This Under “White Privilege”

I know this sounds crazy but I tend to believe that juries get it right more often than not.

    • FYI: The Buffoons were not-so-secretly hoping for a bloody resolution to the stand-off, with federal agents slaughtering the occupiers.

    • Venus says:

I agree — and, like most attorneys, we have more familiarity with jury verdicts across the board than the non-attorneys/lay persons who only hear about the sensational cases in the news.

    • swanspirit says:

They are downright blood thirsty group over there, and not only do they see no problem with going in and “shooting them all” ; they take issue with the “trolls” who might suggest restraint in that regard.
Now they don’t seem to want to do the shooting themselves, but some name less some bodies should. And ironically enough, the post ius tagged gun nuts.

    • lateblum says:

Is, “…he did not deny it.” the same thing as he stated it was true and he wanted to spark an uprising? I don’t think so.

      • Lulu says:

The old “your mother is a whore and I want to hear you deny it!” crap. Ignoring the asshole is good enough for a jury and how civilization actually works.

      • Constance says:

That bothered me too. That is exactly how Prog Talking Heads work. They put out some BS statement framed as a question and when you sit there with your mouth hanging open stunned that anyone would even think such a thing let alone say it, they conclude you are a crazed Republican because you didn’t give the required secret response.

        • lateblum says:

Yup. They have their secret handshake and secret slogans and if you don’t know what they are, you are “certifiable”.

  2. elliesmom says:

Those Koch brothers really get around. 😉

  3. DeniseVB says:

It’s fun following the Bundy Ranch on FB to stay up to date with their side of the story. This video was posted on their page earlier this week….

  4. DeniseVB says:

LOL, at least the Trump Militia will be smarter than the Clintonistas 😀

  5. DandyTIger says:

Apparently the vile prog grand plan of rounding up and killing all white people, except them, isn’t going as they hoped.

  6. Venus says:

15 HO LEE PHUC. I thought it was only 9 and I thought that looked like entrapment. 15? That damn case should have been dismissed by the judge before even going to trial.

  7. DandyTIger says:

The prog press is a riot. They’re talking about Trump supporters as if they’re terrorists and what will they do if Trump loses. Very good question, but they tend to be more like he tea party crowd who didn’t resort to violence even after they were basically destroyed by the IRS and the GOPe. They, we, certainly are getting tired of the corruption and cheating, and the continued oppression from the IRS, the press, and the elite. But I think it would take bigger moves against the 2A and continued erosion of the 1A before anyone would do anything bold. The real question is, what would Hillary supporters do if Hillary loses. I think they would riot and there would be massive violence. Just look at a typical BLM or older OWS activities for an example.

    • mothy67 says:

I disagree with a snowflake rebellion. OWS and BLM were given carte blanche by administration. The architects of faux movements knew it coordinated to bring it with govt. Protesters were often paid. The collusion has been exposed.
There was a great video of a protest in Pittsburgh where this teeny tiny metrosexual was screaming at Trump supporters big guy took a step forward and precious shrank. I bet we’ll see some reaction before inauguration but not much.

      • Constance says:

I would guess most Hillary supporters would expect someone else to stand up and protest Trump for them.

    • DeniseVB says:

Breitbart’s got a good roundup of “Snowflake Journalist” tweets. Mom, they’re being mean to me! LOL.

      http://www.breitbart.com/big-journalism/2016/10/26/triggered-journalist-snowflakes-scared-trump-supporters-are-turning-on-the-media/

      • Lulu says:

Straight out of the third grade school of can dish it out but can’t take it. Wah!

      • lateblum says:

Comcast is not allowing me to open anything at Breitbart. They’ve even cut off my access to TCH several times. It’s time for me to get off my computer and go vote.

    • taw46 says:

If Trump were to win by a landslide, maybe small reaction to the results. If he were to win, but by a small percentage point, I could see Soros paying for massive protests. I just don’t see he and his crowd giving up and walking away. Not after what they have put into it these many years.

I like to think if Trump wins, Europeans would get some courage to do something about there situation. But then again, I think so many of those countries are lost already.

      • Lulu says:

Soros is spending so much in the EU on his population replacement migration stuff I think he has been a little strapped for cash in the US. And now he is looking at the EU banking system going tits up and losing money for him. Soros seems to have gotten a little ahead of himself I suspect because he wants to SEE the flip to anarchy before he croaks. He bought a bunch of seriously incompetent people like Hillary and Podesta with their wide open email systems with their nasty, blabby, gossipy flunkies.

        • taw46 says:

The European invasion has cost him a fortune, all those people smugglers don’t come cheap. And lots of people to payoff in the EU to let it all happen.

      • blowme0bama says:

Soros is going to jail, along with forfeiture of assets of all his scam SJW shell corp. groups and directors. That would be my priority #1b along with the DNC, Shillary and Obama (who was in this bullshit up to his nose too).

        • Lulu says:

A strict house arrest so he has to pay for his own medical care would be ok with me. And no internet or cell phones just a tapped land line. The same for Hillary. Make them isolated pariahs and they have to pay for themselves.

        • DeniseVB says:

There’s a warrant for Soros’ arrest if he steps foot into Russia 😀

  8. Venus says:

    • blowme0bama says:

      Ha, beat me to it.

    • votermom says:

“More proof that the Russians are hacking the elections! They hacked this AI system too!
      PUUUUTIIIIN!!!!!!!!!”

      -Hillary tomorrow

    • Lulu says:

The “hidden”, privately spoken about, wave, realignment, vote. Trump is more popular than Broncobama ever was is going to make them shit their pants. And I think people are voting early so they don’t have to potentially put up with dirty tricks, SJW stunts, broken voting machines, dirty progressive Soros election officials, being turned away, parking problems, etc and the globalists didn’t plan for it. The so-called “stupid” plebs outsmarted the inferior elites again.

      • blowme0bama says:

I’m reading they are seeing record early voting turnouts and its people who aren’t registered R & D, but those who haven’t voted in many years or ever. Wife had NBC news on last night (GAHHHHH) and they said huge early voting – I found it significant that they didn’t say it was mostly African American.

        • blowme0bama says:

These are not people who are going to be picked up in their fake ass polls. BTW, more emails in #podesta21 about varying poll sample sizes (this was from 08, but you know they’re doing it now too and paying for it).

        • Lulu says:

When we voted early we had to wait in line an hour, it was 100% white people with two nice looking Latino women in line with a few adorable children. While mostly middle aged or older there were a lot of younger men with gimme caps on who came from work alone. The ratio was about 60-65% men which is unusual here because women vote always in every election even the bond issues. Everyone voted fast which means straight ticket and Republican. There were 80 voting machines because I asked them how many and it seemed very busy. They said it had been that way since Monday when they opened. It is a YUGE turnout in Texas.

        • swanspirit says:

In Meryland, more people voted on the first day of early voting , than had voted in the entire period of early voting in the 2012 election. No report of demographics of voters, that I saw, but for a deep blue state, I thought that was interesting.

          • lateblum says:

I’ve changed my mind and decided to vote early – for several reasons. But if the lines are too long, I’ll return another day. I’ll report what it’s like to be voting early in ‘crooked’ Jan Schakowsky-Creamer’s 9th Illinois district.

          • mothy67 says:

People online are saying they voted early because they might be dead before election day and don’t want to miss out. Hyperbole for sure
Imagine having that thought even jokingly. Best election ever.

          • Constance says:

Washington State doesn’t have polling places, we have been all mail in for 10 years. Now they have ballot drop boxes because people got so mad about having to pay for a stamp. I’ve marked my ballot but I’m not turning it in until a day or two before election day because I don’t want to give them a heads up on how many fake votes they need to come up with.

  9. Venus says:

Gosh — Polls “unexpectedly” tighten now that the actual elections results will be known & pollsters need to worry about credibility instead of setting narrative.
If previous polls were “right” — Hillary lost 8 points in one week.
    That ain’t good.

    • Lulu says:

The Progs “rented” the polling companies and the lease has run out. I suspect the same for the media companies and the prospect of a Trumpian banishment, Trumpian de-regulation, and Trumpian Youtube or WH video announcements instead of press conferences is a bit daunting. I noticed the WSJ seems to be changing their tune in the past few days. I have chosen the -ian as in Olympian rather than my ususual -ite (Hill-ite, Obama-ite, Jeb-ite) because it sounds better and more dignified.

  10. Venus says:

    • DandyTIger says:

Ouch. And after WW3, they round up all the white boys and put them in prison camps. Hey, everyone else can’t keep getting trigged by the mere sight of them. Come on people, it’s only fair.

      • mothy67 says:

Pretty much everything hills has thrown at Trump is something she is guilty of herself. Why would use of nuclear arms be any different? I cannot recall him ever talking about that option. It’s always her like hundreds of times.
Also it is the children of the deplorables that will fight her war not beltway kids.

  11. votermom says:

The drudge pic of Hillary this morning is funny considering that yesterday’s pics were of her getting drunk.

  12. mothy67 says:

What is your favorite lie/disuasion/ non-sensical tactic of the election cycle?

Mine is people that stand in line for hours in the hot sun for a rally will not show up and vote.

  13. DeniseVB says:

CNN’s Jim Acosta covers the Trump campaign and his timeline reeks of Trump supporters being mean to him. He didn’t find a Hillary in a prison outfit funny either, so he must be a Hillbot. This tweet is from the Va Beach post-rally, a few deplorables hung around. Oh and he’s using a pic from that rally in his profile photo. “Look at me and see how brave I am?” Pathetic jerk.

  14. taw46 says:

I heard that the judge had the defense attorney tazed by US Marshalls for raising his voice.

Wowza. Does that happen a lot?

    • lateblum says:

I did not read the judge had him tased. I read the Marshalls tased him after Judge Brown ordered them to “back off” the attorney.

  18. votermom says:

Get this while it’s free as it is pretty good, specially for a new writer.

  19. Dora says:

There must be something seriously wrong with her.

    • Lulu says:

Budowsky makes a very compelling case AGAINST Hillary. LOL. I don’t think that was his intent but he does. The Trumpians could make excellent ads out of just the text of his emails.

      • blowme0bama says:

This guy is like the only one in their headquarters that had any sense, and they just ignored everything he suggested.

        • Lulu says:

Budowsky is old and uncool. He is kind of like Pat Caddell screaming in the wilderness. Why they are still Dems I don’t know. Give it up Pat and Bud! Go Indy!

        • lateblum says:

Because HRC is like the Queen of Hearts in “Alice . . . ”

    • Lulu says:

That is why she had to run on “shit” nonsense instead of issues. Nobody likes any of her issues or know if they are really her issues or just some “public” polling hatch job for support. Her real issue is collecting wealth and power for herself.

  24. Dora says:

    • lateblum says:

Sadly, Dems are gonna do what Dems always do: Cheat, Steal, Lie. Even when they lose, they do this. In Illinois, it is SOP. There is a stronger movement this time to vote against the Democrat machine than any time I can remember. The television/radio commercials are many and frequent. (Of course, this is the first time in 40+ years that I’m not at work during the day and I can see/hear the amount of election ads. It is astounding.)
I hope irregularities are reported. But here, I’m not sure it will mean anything. 😦

      • DeniseVB says:

That’s why Trump wants us to vote whether he’s 15 points ahead or behind, don’t trust the poll propaganda ! It’s got to be a landslide, our only safety net !

        • CiscoKid says:

          ABSOLUTELY!
And pay no attention to the exit polls.
I guarantee they’ll say that Hillary is ahead in an attempt to get Trump supporters to stay at home and not vote because “Hillary’s winning”.
Don’t let the media psych you out-stay focused
          Vote Trump,we will win.

      • Constance says:

The media expect to profit big time from ad buys during every election. Trump is not paying them off to the extent they expected and that is probably a big reason that they are going against him. You want fair coverage, pay for it, is medias attitude.

Byrne was a key witness for Bill’s trial and he honestly feared for his life.

      That definitely was worth watching.

He has never been to the border. Ever. He acts like people go down to the river (nasty, dirty thing) and beat their clothes on rocks and haul buckets to the house to drink. There are already fences on the border you shithead. Irrigation uses pipes under fences. The only people in the river are Border Patrol and illegals. Go down there idiot and LOOK. It is a pee-diddly little river. A few people fish in it but it is really too dangerous to do so with the drug cartels running it. Water is obtained from deep drilled wells in south Texas. Not the fucking Rio Grande which is creek everywhere else.
