I don’t get it. Is Hamilton about a black gay guy who happens to be named Hamilton?
Alexander Hamilton is turning over in his grave

    • Ann says:

      • The audience booed him on the way in. NYC is full of assholes.

        • taw46 says:

They also put out on Twitter that he was there, so people could come and protest him as he left. So when he walked out, there was a group shouting “F**k you”. These people have no class, rude and arrogant.

        • mcnorman says:

Where was the director? They should have had all their asses fired. They are paid to entertain (nothing more), this is not a lecture hall. Quite unprofessional, cast and all with delusions of grandeur if they believe what they did is their job. A truly professional cast would never have done this. As for the director, he should have everyone’s head on a stick and recast all understudies immediately. This is theater not kinder crybaby poli sci in college safe spaces for crying outloud.

          • DeniseVB says:

I wouldn’t be surprised if people demand a tix refund or cancel out on future performances (tickets can cost hundreds and sold out for the next 2 years). This is not what people pay for! I’d be upset if I saw ANYone being boo’d by the audience and dressed down by the cast. Spew that SJW crap elsewhere.

          • mcnorman says:

I agree. No one is paying for them to behave like children. Actors protected by union however, in the contracts you can be fired for not doing what you are supposed to do. I’m guessing the director is a grabbed pussy. Everyone is important, but at the end of the day, you exit Earth it still keeps on turning without you. As a director, I would have fired everyone’s ass and replaced them immediately with the understudies who are just as good.

          • Constance says:

I agree, if you pay for a ticket you should be entertained not have to listen to some arrogant “artist” virtue signal and lecture at you. The very idea that he would assume Pence would not represent everyone is appalling.
I have run into some New York assholes in Seattle audiences. One guy actually raged because children were dancing in the isles during a Sunday afternoon performance of Nutcracker that featured the PNB ballet school. Give me a break! They always start out “In NY no one blah blah blah blah” I always tell them you aren’t in New York. Another guy told my 6’4″ ex he should slump in his chair and not put his knees in the isle so the little runt could see better. I told him to go ask for a child’s booster seat. I’ve never had anyone who doesn’t identify as from NY act obnoxious at a performance.

I’m enjoying the pushback on twitter. I hope some Broadway big wigs fire back to keep conservative butts in their shows’ seats. 😀

The Dimrats evdently don’t want to make history, they want to BE history. So be it.

If it’s a fight to the death they want, who are we to dissuade them?

        • lyn says:

They bring safety pins. We bring guns.

          • kanaughty says:

I was just thinking about that. The left has taken away the guns from their people while the right has protected gun rights and 2a for people living in trump states. Who wins if you take a gun to a knife or bat fight? Left can’t even protect themselves but to cry for mercy if they bring on a new civil war. Plus the cops are on trump’s side too. And the military are mandated to protect their commander in chief now too, which happens to be trump. The left is on the losing side after january.

So I’m picking up the kid from academic decathlon. I texted her that I’m in the parking lot.
She texted back that it wasn’t done yet.
I asked if I should come down & watch them.
    Her text back:
    “No
    How creepy”

    I sent her this

    Trump just keeps on winning.
Obama Halts Amnesty Push In Court, Bows To Incoming Trump Administration.
    Full story over at WeaselZipper.

    • Lulu says:

That is his passive aggressive streak. In fact the border is wide open and he grounded all monitoring air craft of the border yesterday even though they are fully funded and sitting idle on the ground. Gotta get every last cartel member, Central American gang member, African migrant, and terrorist over the border before Jan 20. He already lost in court so he is not giving up squat.

    • taw46 says:

With that crowd, you always have to look what is happening behind the curtain.

    • Dora says:

While we are concentrating on his amnesty halt, look what he is doing at the border.

  13. CiscoKid says:

Smart move. I’m no genius but I realized that from the moment I read about the settlement.
I bet the Dim’s weren’t expecting that. Trump defused the situation before he takes Office.
One thing less they have to f**k with Trump.

  14. DeniseVB says:

So here’s Trump approving a “safe space” and the sjw’s in the comments still aren’t happy !

    • Lulu says:

How much do these caste members think they will turn off out of town tourists paying these outrageous prices for tickets? I would be hesitate, maybe even afraid to go to a play or concert where the artists may start screaming or lecturing at me from the stage. It is kind of like the NFL audience shrinking because of all the virtue signaling by players. The artists are certainly entitled to their opinion but to diss individual audience members, while they are supposedly at work performing for people who PAID to see them, seems a poor marketing tool or choice. In NYC it may be the opposite of course but how many tickets do they sell to just New Yorkers who love them some “I’m good” virtue signaling? And how many tourists will be turned off from going to the great city if one of the normal things done by tourists, the theater, is a no go place for the unwelcome yokels? It places to a stereotype of ‘we’re good, you’re bad” that helped them lose their ass in the election. That is not how you sell tickets.

      • DeniseVB says:

Last Broadway show I saw was Spiderman and the ticket was $250. Ouch…. could have bought a membership at the Art AND Natural History museums for less than that. Plus spend 8 hours there if I want, get a discount at the gift shops and restaurants too 🙂 NYC has a very generous out of towner membership discount.
