Baby, It’s Cold Outside / Lady Gaga/Tony Bennett Edition

It’s my new favorite Holiday/Seduction song. Thanks proggy dimwits 😉

Annnd, here’s the new lyrics, or as Mark Steyn said, he sent her out to die in a blizzard ….. Open Thread !

I really can’t stay/Baby I’m fine with that
I’ve got to go away/Baby I’m cool with that
This evening has been/Been hoping you get home safe
So very nice/I’m glad you had a real good time
My mother will start to worry/Call her so she knows that you’re coming
Father will be pacing the floor/Better get your car a-humming
So really I’d better scurry/No rush.
Should I use the front or back door?/Which one are you pulling towards more?
The neighbors might think/That you’re a real nice girl
What is this drink?/Pomegranate La Croix
I wish I knew how/Maybe I can help you out
To break this spell/I don’t know what you’re talking about
I ought to say no, no, no/you reserve the right to say no
At least I’m gonna say that I tried/you reserve the right to say no
I really can’t stay/…Well you don’t have to
Baby it’s cold outside
I’ve got to get home/Do you know how to get there from here
Say, where is my coat/I’ll go and grab it my dear
You’ve really been grand/We’ll have to do this again
Yes I agree/How ’bout the Cheesecake Factory?
We’re bound to be talking tomorrow/Text me at your earliest convenience
At least I have been getting that vibe/Unless I catch pneumonia and die
I’ll be on my way/Thanks for the great night

    great words and music.

  2. helenk3 says:

dems insist EPA staffers can resist trumps agenda.
why are the democrats pushing for a revolt? first backtrack tells the military to protest even though that is against the code of military justice.
now this twit tell employees not to pay attention to the new boss.
do they want a non working government? if so why? If it were up to me the EPA would be abolished. it does more harm than good. Then where would these fools work? Private industry would not put up with their nonsense.

    • DeniseVB says:

Was anyone fired when Obama’s EPA dumped millions of gallons of mine waste in a Colorado river? Who’s heads rolled when Flint ,Michigan turned their water supply toxic?

It can only get better (I hope) under the new administration.

  3. helenk3 says:

many federal employees who have been forgetting that they work for the people and have their own agendas instead of the peoples will be singing this song now

  4. helenk3 says:

Guialani withdraws himself for any cabinet positions.

    • jeffhas says:

So, I’m not really the biggest Giuliani fan to begin with – I think he did a terrific job after 911, and certainly cleaning up New York. No negatives, just lukewarm positives in my book.

Having said that, I am somewhat saddened and ‘troubled’ that he did not join TheTeam. I heard last night that apparently he said he wanted SOS or nothing, and/or turned down DHS…. And I do think if the President calls you to serve, you really should serve in whatever capacity The President wants.

… But… I gotta tell you, watching Giuliani set-up the defense and soldier that message through when Access Hollywood took place, it was a Tour de Force of guts and loyalty that Giuliani showed. I don’t know what was said/done on all sides, but it seems like some kind of deal should have been done to keep Giuliani in the fold – that type of ‘in the ditch’ loyalty is going to be very hard to come by again.

That doesn’t mean he was right for SOS – when RG came out saying that was the job he wanted, that would not have been my choice for him either, but I think Trump should have fought tooth and nail to get him on TheTeam – and maybe he did and RG went the other way – but there has been a lot of silence re: RG lately, and that makes me think there is a little tension. … And like I said, loyalty of the type Giuliani showed (when even Pence was silent in the beginning) is hard to come by.

      I’m sad.

      • dm says:

Completely agree…I was shocked and sad to see this news…maybe Trump will convince him to serve in another capacity…he can be very persuasive.

        • jeffhas says:

I’m more sad that the relationship seems broken netween these two men.

Giuliani should absolutely be rewarded for his fearsome loyalty… But not with SOS, that is a high energy job, and there are so many more qualified candidates.

… But I do hope Trump tries harder to persuade him.

  5. helenk3 says:

makes sense to me. over the years it has brought terror to many people of America and other countries

Until/unless there is a drastic change in federal employee union rules, they have nothing to worry about. VA is a prime example, killing people by criminal negligence/fraud won’t/can’t get administrators fired/prosecuted.

    • DeniseVB says:

Why do the federal employees need a union?

    • Somebody says:

I don’t understand how VA employees haven’t been sued personally for their negligence.

You all know my husband was an ATC and he was personally responsible if he screwed up on the job, which thankfully he never did. Air traffic controllers can and have been sued personally. The US government does NOT represent them or assist them legally in any way. In fact sometimes the controller is on the opposite side as the government if their rules or a direct order contributed to an accident.

To answer Denise’s question about union membership, my husband was a member of the union mostly for legal protection if something had ever happened. The union officers represent controllers if there is an issue and also provide legal representation if needed.

In addition to that unions protect employees from the whims of politicians. If the employees didn’t have some kind of protection any incoming POTUS could fire them all. You all may think you’d like that, but I beg to differ. What if a pissed off POTUS Clinton fired all the FBI agents just because. What if Obama decided we no longer need border patrol agents or maybe we don’t need food inspectors or whatever. Unions are also there to protect federal employees when they whistle blow, unfortunately despite the belief of how powerful fed unions are they’ve been unable to shield some whistle blowers.

  7. DeniseVB says:

Back to the Cory Booker thread (and thanks Angie for the wingman assist, I ❤ you). Still not resolved, this 'bot is still making excuses for Obama profiting off his books even when the State Dept buys them. I kinda lost my place …. hope this makes sense…..

  8. helenk3 says:

this makes sense to me. it has struck terror into the hearts of many over the years

  9. taw46 says:

Now Obama wants to see if the election was “hacked”. I still don’t trust any of these people. I always think they are up to something.

    • Mt.Laurel says:

Desperation is never pretty. They will try everything they can right up to when they literally do have to throw the O’s and their gang out of the WH. Someone should be monitoring their packing and tell them their stuff will be shipped after it has been inspected for those pesky Russian bugs.

This seems to shout that they did indeed think they had it rigged and something went wrong and they just cannot accept that enough people turned out to vote for DJT (or just against Killary) to overcome their machinations.

The snotty hypocrite made sure they would not actually follow through in the investigation of Hillary and her bathroom office among other things. What is in those emails that are still hidden that they are all so afraid of coming to light.

    • 1539days says:

The irony is that Democrats dismissed the influence of Russia for over a decade. They mocked Bush for having a Secretary of State (Rice) who was an expert on Russia and criticized Romney in 2012 for talking about Russia as a threat. Now that Trump isn’t calling Russia evil, they are suddenly fixing voting machines left and right.

      • Mt.Laurel says:

The Dems also came up with the winning RESET idea after they found a button on clearance at Staples Black Friday Sale to send the message that they were going to be best buds with Russia.

    • lizzy says:

Impossible for Obama to lend creditibility to anyone. He has no creditability.

Insert mini rant about school bureaucracies here

  11. DeniseVB says:

Wish Rudy would run for NYC Mayor again. 🙂

  12. helenk3 says:

I thought I posted this earlier but now I can not find it

this makes sense to me. this has put terror into the hearts of many

  13. helenk3 says:

can someone check the cellar for a link to suckers on parade please?

  14. helenk3 says:

Romney’s niece to be named head of RNC

  15. Did Terry choke his chicken?

  16. elliesmom says:

The new lyrics sound like she’s getting the brush off. She wants to stay, but he can’t get rid of her fast enough. If I were her, I wouldn’t count on lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. Something is going to “suddenly come up.” 😉

    • dm says:

Was that when he told them “I won” or was that the time he struck that famous pose, sitting there with a nasty look chin resting on his hand with his middle finger in the upright position? Yup, he was definitely using all his charm to win them over…uh huh, sure. He didn’t give a *uck right from the start…why are they pretending that he or his merry band of dims ever gave a *hit.

  17. Actually, they were booing some protesters.

    • taw46 says:

And in his “apology” he still lies. He then accuses the protestors of booing Trump (they were booing a protestor). People that follow him say he does this all the time, throws out fake news, then more fake news with his retraction. He is a senior writer at Newsweek and has hated Trump since he first announced.

    • votermom says:

      • DeniseVB says:

LOL, she was using Slate as her source? I looked at the tweet thread and was totally debunked. Seemed to be spam announcing great deals at all the international Trump hotels because I’m sure Russians leave their country for business and pleasure too 🙂

Since it’s from Oct, I guess no big deal.

    • DandyTIger says:

She’s actually talking about a covert server? Without any sense of irony?

    • Anthony says:

File under: “Shit you lie about when you’re not legit enough to de-legitimize the person who kicked your ass in the election”

    • CiscoKid says:

      “Computer scientist”?
      WTF are those?
I’ve heard of designers, manufacturers, programmers, trouble shooters, but never “scientists.”
      Boy, talk about reaching.

      • DandyTIger says:

The academic field about computer software is called Computer Science. Worst name ever. If you have science in the name of your profession, there isn’t any. And in this case, there isn’t. Software Engineering would be a better name because it is all about the engineering discipline. Not sure of the history of that really stupid name, but they should change it.

  18. helenk3 says:

new Christmas album. should be a best seller

  19. votermom says:

Daily Mail says Fox staffers call Megyn Kelly “MeAgain”
This is hilarious because as far as I know Ace dubbed her that.

  20. Dora says:

From a right wing conspiracy to the Russians did it. This woman just can not accept defeat!

    And Trump’s reply. (Priceless)

  21. Dora says:

  22. DeniseVB says:

Aren’t there bigger ballrooms in NYC ?

    • Anthony says:

Waldorf Grand Ballroom would do it. Theres also an illegal Taco Truck that stops on 96th & B’way every day around 3pm if the number is shrinking as much as the CGI donor list suggests 😀

      • Lulu says:

A “loser” ball for special snowflake million/billionaires to get their participation trophies and bitch to each other about losing. And they exclude the “low ticket” contributors. Is this not the very definition of the current Democratic Party?

  23. Dora says:

For the Taylor fans. I wish she would sing Baby It’s Cold. 🙂

  24. DeniseVB says:

This is from Oct, have never seen it before ! It’s a fast 11 minutes of LoLz 😉

    • CiscoKid says:

Oh, what a great way to start the day.
This was a great catch, I didn’t know Donald had such a sharp wit.
We only get to see it now and then, but putting many of his best really shows it.
My favorite, Donald speaking,”what does a wet racoon and Donald Trumps hair have in common “?
“Nothing because the racoon doesn’t have 7 billion fucking dollars!”

  25. Dora says:

I can’t wait until he is gone!

Obama is rushing to Trump-proof the White House

  26. DeniseVB says:

Mark Dice on Russia #FakeNews !

  27. DeniseVB says:

    Are they gone yet ?

    • lateblum says:

Have they said whether or not they are finally “Proud of their country”?
Will the Obama wimminz give their frocks to the Smithsonian as “historic” attire worn by the “historic” First Family?
Will they reimburse the nation for the monies spent on wighats, jewelry, shoes and other accessories needed for trips to China, South Africa, Norway, Spain, etc., etc. etc.?
Will the local golf courses once again be available for residents of the area?
      Will they ever leave???

  28. DeniseVB says:

I hope Trump keeps tweeting just because the media morons want him to stop (forces them to cover him!)

  29. DeniseVB says:

    • CiscoKid says:

Dog, the bounty hunter. I liked his show.

  31. helenk3 says:

none of it good for the American people

Geert Wilders message after guilty verdict: “You will not be able to stop me!”

  33. taw46 says:

Heard some of MSNBC this morning, all-out on Russia stole our election and we are in a Constitutional crisis (citing WaPo article). They said McCain and Graham believe it and want an investigation. Just insanity.

You should read Larry Johnson’s latest post:

“UPDATE–This is an extremely dangerous time now. Barack Obama appears to be actively working to discredit the Trump election and has enlisted the intelligence community in the effort…..”
