Doubling Down On The Crazy

The buffoons are loosing their shit. John Cole has always been a raging douchebag, but it’s really getting scary over there.

Trump’s election was illegitimate. Now what?

What he said:

I don’t know what we do either, but I suspect this all goes down the memory hole. We’d need a better political and media establishment than we have to fully recognize a crisis like this, let alone address it. And frankly, it would require a more informed and engaged citizenry than we have too. Therefore, I don’t expect anything to interfere with Trump’s being sworn in on January 20th.

Honestly, the only scenario I can think of right now in which Trump is blocked from taking office is if the CIA starts leaking damaging information on him. That’s not so far fetched — Trump is responding to this controversy in a way that makes this scenario more likely, IMO:

The Trump transition team dismissed the findings in a short statement issued Friday evening. “These are the same people that said Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. The election ended a long time ago in one of the biggest Electoral College victories in history. It’s now time to move on and ‘Make America Great Again,’ ” the statement read.

Note the reflexive lie about the size of the Electoral College win. That’s a tell that indicates how insecure Trump is about his own legitimacy.

The Electoral College could block Trump — preventing foreign interference is one of the reasons it allegedly exists. But it’s a partisan institution, so I’m assuming it will fail, just as all our political and media establishments have failed.

So basically, our only hope of escaping an illegitimate presidency that was engineered by a foreign power and abetted by traitorous partisan political interests at home is if some spooks take offense at Trump’s insults and decide to engage in a pissing match. Rather a slender reed to hang our hopes on, huh?

That was written by “Betty Cracker”, a former denizen of the infamous “Rumproast” blog. She’s repeating the latest talking points from Hillary’s campaign over in Lefty La-La Land. “The Russians hacked the election!”

Assuming that the Russians did indeed hack the Democrats, all they did was expose the lies, hypocrisy, and corruption inside the Democrat party. They didn’t turn Hillary into a horrible candidate. How much damage the hacked info caused is questionable, since the mainstream media studiously avoided reporting on the contents of the pilfered emails. Only us “low-info” types got to read them.

I don’t recall similar howls of outrage from the left when it was revealed that the Obama administration actively interfered in the recent election in Israel. They were pretty blase about all the foreign money collected by Bill Clinton while Hillary was a senator, Secretary of State, and a candidate for President.

Here are a few of the comments from Buffoon Juice:

Obama could always stage a coup. Of course he won’t. But he could. (Not even going to lie, I’d be fine with that end to the American democratic experiment over whatever Trump has in store.)

I think for all Obama’s decency and being a good man, respecting the office and the nation, we are way past the point where this is no longer turning the other cheek.

Christ. Now its been said. And it can’t be unsaid. I went to sleep last night just praying and dreaming that the EC somehow came to its senses and overturned the election. I actually think the country –not Trump’s moron voters but the country–would breath an immense sigh of relief. He’s had just enough time to reveal himself fully to the world–but I’m sure you are right. Our institutions are too compromised and weak to do anything about this totally illegitimate election result.

Not surprisingly sites from the rightwing’s point of view are poo pawing this and sites from the progressive side are going nuts. The Media is trying to figure out how to frame this as a Both Sides Do It. And curiously this has turned America’s political landscape on it’s head. The party that used to loath the Soviet Union & Russia is now actively defending Russian manipulation of US elections. Had that happened under Reagan/Bush/BushII benefiting Democrats there would have been nuclear war.

So what’s that say? Democrats are going to be asked to behave like adults and go sit down and be quiet. And the MSM will agree with that assessment. We are so screwed.

Now what? With a 4-4 USSC, no remedy there as if there ever was one.

He’ll be impeached and convicted, almost surely for doing something to benefit him financially; I wouldn’t be surprised if he or one of the spawn shorted Boeing before going off on them a couple days ago.

The only way things change is if there is evidence of direct Trump involvement- Something like Manafort showing him hacked emails and letting him pick which get leaked, or direct payments from Russia to Trump. In that case Republicans will agree to impeach him and elevate Pence. Which doesn’t really solve anything since his election was illegitimate too, but we’ll get plenty of commentary about how The System Works.

Rather than any likelihood of any institution directly blocking Trump from taking office, the more likely upshot is that some key agencies may undermine him from within, in analogous fashion to the way Comey’s FBI acted nine days prior to the election to throw a huge tackle on Clinton. Trump may have his own appointees heading the agencies, but there are numerous ways those at the career levels can subvert Trump and any efforts by the agency heads to suppress these efforts, in much the same way as Comey wasn’t able to truly control the manipulations of the Clinton-haters in the New York FBI office (if indeed Comey wasn’t in on it himself with plausible deniability). And even if Comey was in on it, he may come around soon to recognizing the huge mistake of allowing the rogue elephant Trump to run loose upon the security interests of the country, and play the game from the other side. But my guess it will be the intelligence and military agencies who will have the most at stake in containing and undermining Trump.

Not just CIA, but likely intel agencies around the world, have pretty thick files on Trump and the people around him. Not hard to imagine how for instance Germany has a big interest in exposing Trump’s kompromat and tracing it back to Russia, in order to prevent interference in their upcoming elections. Perhaps even the Chinese, who aren’t fans of America necessarily, but nonetheless would prefer it not to be led by a Russian puppet.

He will never be impeached. The Republicans will be too afraid to do so because it will hurt their brand–they know if they replace him with Pence that Trump’s various invulnerabilities will not translate and the Pence/GOP alignment will overreach and be booted out in two to four years. They will never impeach Trump. But refusing to do so will simply leave the press with no reason to cover Trump’s illegalities and frauds, since there will never be “respectable” “moderate” “honorable” republican voices to speak up against him and democratic voices are simply discounted as “partisan.” That is the real danger that Broderism and Brooks’ism have brought to us all these decades–that nothing the democrats say is taken seriously and republican lies and criminality are left unexplored.

I don’t know why people aren’t grasping the obvious fact that Comey himself may have been compromised by the russians.

It’s time the the left for once starts making the cynicism and alienation of the American public work for them. Delegitimize Trump the way he and the GOP spent eight solid years delegitimizig Obama. Use it the build the party on the local level. Turn the outrage on the enemy for once instead of railing against the Clintons and the neo liberals.

Press and Democrats need to start CONSTANTLY ASKING EVERY REPUBLICAN WHETHER THE RUSSIANS HAVE COMPROMISED THEM. In a debate on the naming of a post office, ask whether the Russians planted child porn on their computers. In a press conference on any random topic, ask Trump whether the Russians are holding damaging information over his head. When he throws that reporter out, the next reporter asks the same question.

I found all of those in the first part of the comment thread. I didn’t even get to the other three-quarters of the comments.

  1. The CIA’s reputation is shit and has been for a long time.

    • Anthony says:

The same CIA that confirmed that Saddam Hussein had WMDs… And if this somehow actually turns out to be true, why is the onus not on President Obama and his DHS for letting this happen on his watch? Maybe he should have just skipped slow-jamming with Jimmy Kimmel and paid a little more attention to wtf was going on under his own nose…

  2. 1539days says:

I think there’s more merit to the theory that Hillary Clinton tanked the election in return for all that uranium money. With all of Hillary’s “historic” but still non-majority of the vote, she lost a lot of people fleeing from her to vote for Gary Johnson or Jill Stein. If Clinton and the lapdog media hadn’t spent the last 3 months gloating about a landslide, maybe those leftists would have been scared enough to vote for her instead of a third party.

The Democrats had a strategy and it lost. Get over it. And the election of 2000 wasn’t illegitimate, either.

  3. dm says:

The hysteria and panic is definitely real in my little family circle. I’ve had several recent encounters with the SIL and I have simply made an excuse and left early. Last Sunday she was in both my face and the hubby, ranting about insurance and the 1 percenters and that’s all ok with us because we have insurance (so does she)…none of this is in response to anything we have or haven’t said…it’s all assumption on her part…again, we left early. The daughter has been in panic mode and just told me on her last visit this past week that she isn’t worried about Trump…she’s worried about Pence after Trump is assassinated or impeached cause Pence believes in gay conversion therapy…wanted to ask if she would feel differently if he was muslim, but again, just couldn’t go there. She is absolutely hysterical about the abortion issue…I told her I was once more passionate about it than I am now. What I have figured out, is that I am not really going to give a shit about abortion rights if I am living on the street – our family has had a very rough 8 years and homelessness was not that far away…I’m tired of the hysteria…I told her I have managed to get through 8 years of Obama and I was sure she could survive a few years of Trump.

  5. Scott Adams:

The election of Donald Trump to the Presidency of the United States has effectively forked reality into two versions that are running in parallel. Clinton’s supporters believe they are living in a world that is a repeat of 1930s Germany, with Trump playing the part of Adolf Hitler. See this reaction for a typical example.

Meanwhile, the other half of the country believes we elected a highly-capable populist who will “drain the swamp” and bring a business approach to government along with greater prosperity.

So how do you know which reality is the real one? The fast answer is that you can’t know. As I said, the human brain did not evolve to understand reality. But just for fun and education, I’ll tell you the best way dig down to the next layer of truth: Look for the Cognitive Dissonance trigger.

In this case, Clinton supporters were persuaded to believe that Trump is OBVIOUSLY the next coming of Hitler. Or maybe worse because Trump is also rude and sexist. If that version of reality is true, Trump could not have been elected president. But he was. That’s the trigger for cognitive dissonance: two observations that don’t fit together.

Clinton supporters have been duped into believing something ridiculous about Trump.
Given this set-up, most normal human minds would assume the problem was with other people. That’s how cognitive dissonance works. We like to think we are rational while others are not. So you would expect in this situation that Clinton supporters would enter a type of dream state in which they interpret their reality as being surrounded by racist-sexist-stupid citizens who just elected a genocidal dictator. They have to enter this dream because the only alternative involves believing that they themselves are gullible and deluded.

Trump supporters have no such trigger for cognitive dissonance in this particular case because their candidate won. Their worldview is consistent. They think Trump is the most capable candidate and enough people recognized that fact to make him president. Most of these people believe Trump is not a racist and they believe they are not racists either (or not much anyway). Nothing about a Trump-supporter’s experience would trigger cognitive dissonance. But Clinton supporters have a huge trigger for cognitive dissonance, so it is more likely they entered a new illusion in this particular case.

For further evidence that the anti-Trumpers are living in an illusion, consider that the street protests against Trump fizzled out. That means the illusion of Trump-as-Hitler is already starting to fade. You also see it in the surging stock market and in the sharp uptick in citizen confidence in the economy.

The Hitler illusion will continue to fade. But for now the citizens of the United States live in two separate realities. As a hypnotist, I doubt any of us can see reality for what it is. My worldview is that we were in one kind of illusion before and some of us moved to another. When it comes to understanding reality, the best we can do is pick a version that does a good job predicting.

My view of reality predicts that the Hitler illusion will wear off in time because Trump keeps refusing to do Hitler-like things. Check my prediction at the end of Trump’s term. I think you’ll see his popularity continue to improve from here.

  6. jeffhas says:

The real reason the Dems are upset is that they know Donald Trump is about to do some things that are good for the country. They can sense that he’s going to succeed. And they need to kill that baby before it’s born ( yes I know, apropos ).

Facts, (like the stock market going through the roof, wages rising, and rising percentages of people in the workforce) are going to be tough to spin, so they are spinning like crazy now before the facts set into concrete…. They are just throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what will stick.

    Best election EVAH!!!

    • SHV says:

Good read..plausible explanation of why Tillerson is the right person for SOS. For Trump, he needs a person who would be the new CEO for an extreme hostile take over. The entrenched, non removable Globalist careerist at State will be huge problem for Trump.

      • When you consider how much of our foreign policy revolves around oil it kinda makes sense.

      • Lulu says:

        I think you are right.

      • threewickets says:

This election is a take-over of the Illuminati Globalists by the Deep State Guardians. Mitt Romney is the Deep State. Utah is very military and NSA data central. Global oil is less relevant to us now. We are oversupplied with our own these days. SOS job today is equal parts natsec and economics. Trump’s cabinet is very military. Romney gets along with military and Wall Street. He’s the natural fit for this admin. Not saying I’m a fan of this White House. But if SOS is not Romney, there is probably a serious schism in the transition team. Plus this Exxon guy has Putin ties. WTF.

        • Lulu says:

Tillerson has been fighting the greenie/globalist/lawfare stuff via Exxon and the earlier Mobile stuff which they inherited when they merged. He, through Exxon, has won in court and cut the legs out from under them. The greenie/globalists are frauds. It has been proven in court. The most current one is NY state (I think Obama encouraged them) and they are loosing that one too and other state atty generals have headed for the hills. I have no idea if this is part of the attraction to Tillerson or not. Before this Exxon management, headed by Tillerson, oil companies just paid them off. There is an oil glut but it is still the primary power source of the world. Most of the middle east wars are about oil. The Syria stuff is about a pipeline that Assad wouldn’t share the revenue from. So Tillerson may make more sense than it first seems.

          • threewickets says:

At current global oil supplies, prices, and breakevens, the alternative energy crowd will drown on their own. No help needed from Tillerson or anyone else. Hell even the Saudis and Emirates will struggle at these prices. But what if we end up in a “hot” trade war with China or else in Asia. You’d want somebody like Romney with close ties and experience working with the Deep State.

    • votermom says:

Trump probably had this guy as his favorite even while interviewing Mitt & Petraeus. LOLOLOLOL

      • Lulu says:

He does that a lot. He “teased” Mitt and then picked someone better. Hehe.

      • DeniseVB says:

Caught Rudy on Fox this morning slamming Mitt for the fugly things he said about Trump during the primaries, then never apologizing when T became the nominee. He didn’t recognize this Mitt that he worked so hard and raised money for in 2012. So yeah, he could have been playing Mitt 😉 But why would Mitt even think of meeting with the man he found so despicable ?

    • DeniseVB says:

Wrong you Beastie racists. Trump’s picks EMPLOY the ALL working class and they’re definitely not doing it for the easy DC bubble money. Even taking pay cuts. Made me think, are Flag officers allowed to double dip? That is keep their military retirement AND their cushy, top of the food chain Fed pay?

    • Propertius says:

Wait, so now “parental leave” is fascist?

    • DeniseVB says:

On Don Surber’s blog, WaPo looking to hire “pro” Trump columnists/editorialists. Seems when they hired “conservatives” for the campaign season they all turned out to be Never Trumpers or something. Must have happened to all the major U.S. papers this year 😉

  10. Dora says:

He has to protect himself from the nut jobs!

    • Lulu says:

Yes the Secret Service are serious about protecting him. Who would have guessed it? .

    • DeniseVB says:

Dora and All….Buy spousey/partner Ronald Kessler’s ” In The President’s Secret Service” for Christmas 🙂 It’s a fascinating historical look behind protecting the presidents, you can read it first, then wrap it 🙂 I learned so much. Also, Gary Bryne’s ” Crisis of Character”, Don Bongino’s “Life Inside the Bubble”. So much stuff we never read about in the news, or as my son says, the news never reports our successes.

Surprise, surprise, surprise, media never reports how much it costs to protect the VP’s, yet NYC’s DUH-Blah-Z-O wants Trump to pay for his own protection at Trump Tower, but not Biden’s estate in Delaware, or the Hillary compounds, or the BillyJeff apartments here and there, for the twinkies ya’know 😉

  11. She seems nice.

  12. Propertius says:

  15. threewickets says:

There’s a better chance that Assange works for Michael Rogers’ NSA than for Putin, imo. But difficult to prove either way. Bottom line, if Trump is pushed aside the Republican establishment gets Pence who they would prefer anyway.

  16. NBD says:

This is obviously a co-ordinated effort: the Never Trump crowd, the MSM, the Dimocraps are all working from the same playbook to deny legitimacy to Trump’s election. Post-inauguration, you can expect some serious pushback against the individuals and institutions who are part of this scheme. This should be some really good fun to watch!

    • threewickets says:

If I were running Hillary and Feinsteain’s team, I’d go after Michael Rogers’ NSA instead of Putin. The former is the more likely scenario (soft coup) than the latter (high treason). But the CIA is afraid to go after the NSA since Trump will likely be appointing Rogers their boss as DNI. Check mate.

But Rogers better hope he has the support of the 40 other active duty four-star generals and admirals in the US armed services. They hate when people play coup games without consulting them, lol.

    • threewickets says:

It’s possible that Hillary and Feinstein’s Team Clawback has the CIA creating a Putin media diversion while they check in with each of the forty four-stars individually. That takes time.

  17. Venus says:

    • Lulu says:

Everyone and their dog infiltrated ALL of the US governments systems because they are shitty, the money for security has been wasted paying contracts to cronies who do crap quality work or the Obama administration was spending money on other “stuff”. Their sudden concern with cyber systems which they never gave two craps about before is amusing. Millions of federal employees records were hacked and zippity do da was done about it by Obama administration. NOW they care that they lost and the ramifications are scaring the devil out of them.

      • taw46 says:

I am one of those millions of Federal employees who had their records hacked thanks to Obama and his crew. And you are right, they didn’t give a damn about any of us.

        • Mt.Laurel says:

I have had calls from several federal people who are relieved. They are hoping that some changes at the top will result in some level of decorum and rationality being reinstated and filtering down through the hierarchies. Many of the worker bees have been trampled by the on slot of incompetent nimbi’s with useless degrees in flying puppies and odd changes in mission that have nothing to do with their agency’s actual reason for existence (NASA was not the only one sent totally of tract and into the cornfield of the Twilight Zone

    • Lulu says:

Putin is anti-globalist. So is Trump. Rather than friends it is more of a “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”. Soros is the enemy of of Russia. Soros is the enemy of the US. Hillary/Obama are globalists as is most of the EU and national leaders of Europe. The very idea of a Trump/Putin coalition going against globalism is terrifying to them because of the odds of success.

      • Putin is neither an enemy nor a friend. He is a Russian nationalist. He wants what is best for Russia. He is also a ruthless dictator, but he doesn’t have the total control that Stalin once had. Russia isn’t nearly the police state that the USSR used to be, but it is certainly not a free and open society.

We can and should do business with him, with our eyes open and no illusions. He will respond one way to strength and another to weakness. Obama treated him with disrespect and weakness. Trump will treat him (and Russia) with respect and strength.

  19. DandyTIger says:

Holy crap, this is the best Fucking Election Ever!!!! The libtards are going even more batshit crazy than even I ever hoped.

    • Somebody says:

      Yes, yes they are Dandy!!

We had an early Christmas this evening at my brother’s house because the CA family flew in. They decided to come early this year and spend Christmas at home. They announced they had one very specific rule…..nobody was to mention the name Trump. They felt that was only fair because they “deserved” to enjoy our family Christmas in peace…….oh please, if the shoe was on the other foot they’d break said shoe off in our asses.

I admit, I started it. I admit I was snarky and I baited my sister, LMAO! She got really angry with me for mentioning Donald Trump in front of her son……I mean he’s just a wittle pup, he’s a freshman at UCLA…..can’t upset him or hurt his fee fees. Seriously she got upset with me and begged me not to say Donald Trump’s name in front of my nephew, WTF? I guess he’s a fucking snowflake. I asked my nephew if he needed a safe space, my brother offered him coloring books, we were all trying to accommodate him don’t ya know!

My other sister however took great offense and went off about it because like it or not on January 20th, Donald J. Trump will be the President of the United States and everybody better get used to it. She said “How dare you refuse to speak or hear Trump’s name, how dare you insist hearing his name is too upsetting for your son”. She said a lot more than that which was really funny because normally I’m the mouthy one, not her……everybody was really surprised. The best part is my two sisters are VERY close so it was double delicious, LOL! Oh and my sister that lives here, the one that spoke up was a Rubio fan.

The evening was fine, we didn’t talk about politics all night……but we did get in some fun jabs and of course we heard lots of terrible things about our President-elect…..yawn. Also the proverbial racist supporters meme and cracks like “I just had no idea there were that many morons in this country to elect DJT”. Russian hackers, FBI, fake news, blah, blah, blah. The Californians were grossly outnumbered so for any snark they got back at least 3-5 snarky replies, LOL!

The biggest surprise of the night, even bigger than my sister piping up was the fact that she got everybody Trump wine, LOL! I don’t really drink wine, she got me a bottle of “Cru” which is a sweet dessert wine. She also included a pamphlet from Trump wines with recipes for drink made with this wine. Apparently it’s good mixed with champagne and my sister knows we usually have champagne on New Year’s Eve.

I can only imagine what the scene will be with everyone singing carols of love and joy but not really speaking to one another.

      • nerdle says:

Christmas is going to be rough, for sure. Just wait, though. From New Year’s until the inauguration, they are going to turn that crazy dial all the way up to 11.

        • lateblum says:

You ain’t just whistling Dixie. I’m gonna run for cover. That’s for certain. They even have my gbaby#1 telling me “Trump is stupid”. I just as quietly tell her that some people think that, but they are wrong.

  21. lateblum says:

This morning, before I left for the day, I read the post that taw46 linked to in the overnight thread. If you haven’t already read it, I’d recommend it. Here is her post:

    December 10, 2016 at 9:56 am (Edit)

Heard some of MSNBC this morning, all-out on Russia stole our election and we are in a Constitutional crisis (citing WaPo article). They said McCain and Graham believe it and want an investigation. Just insanity.

You should read Larry Johnson’s latest post:

“UPDATE–This is an extremely dangerous time now. Barack Obama appears to be actively working to discredit the Trump election and has enlisted the intelligence community in the effort…..”

    • dm says:

Anything McCain and Graham are interested in, is automatically contrary to our best interests…not to mention, whatever the hell Obama and the intelligence community deem important…never thought I would use the words “Obama” and ‘intelligence” in the same sentence.

      • lateblum says:

It’s true. The words “obama” and “intelligence” do not belong in the same paragraph let alone the same sentence. But then, as bronco himself reminded us all those years ago, they are “Just Words”.

    • Shouldn’t this investigation be the jurisdiction of the FBI? Comey’s people?

    • lateblum says:

He sounds like the Hispanic broncobama. All he has to do is learn to vote “present” if he ever returns to politics. He’ll be a shoe-in for the Dems.
Maybe he could learn Austrian or Brazilian (thanks obama) to get himself some foreign cred.

      • Underwhelmed says:

Actually, I think it’s sad, if not tragic. To be so cut off from empathy, compassion, humanity, to believe murdering an unborn child is a good thing.

        • Constance says:

But they are only murdering their own progeny. What sort of successful political movement or religion ever destroyed their own young. I mean there have been dictators throughout history who have tried to kill their enemy’s children but these people are doing genocide on themselves. It is a form of hysterical group suicide or something.

  24. swanspirit says:

Well, I am glad that election of the 45th President can be declarred illegitimate by a tweet, and a blog, and some Facebook posts.
When I was working on a locked psychiatric unit, the correct protocols for dealing with actively psychotic patients was never to agree with their delusions, but don’t directly contradict their statements, buyt gently present reality. If you directly contradict them, it causes increased anxiety and can escalate into violence. The objective was to avoid escalation, and gently bring the person back around to reality. I don’t know if that is possible with some of these buffoons.
This mass delusion around Obama’s exit from office is only comparable to the mass delusion that accompanied his election. These people have been living in a bubble for a long time.

    • lyn says:

Well said. The Hillary supporters on FB are nuts. They blame Trump for everything.

    • DeniseVB says:

Obama’s delusional himself and needs to be in the loony bin. He will not graciously leave the WH without keeping the pot stirred trying to stay relevant. The thought of Trump destroying his legacy ( of failed foreign and domestic policies !) is driving him crazy….literally! Remember, the Obamas will be living only 2 miles from the WH so he can keep stirring up sh*t. The guy just creeps me out right now.

      • Constance says:

Given Obama’s crazy following and the fact that Obama care is about to collapse on it’s own I think it might be prudent to just let it collapse. It won’t take that long and then Republicans won’t be blamed for any health care debacle. The thing is Obama never tired to give us health care they tried to give us mandatory insurance. They were focused on the insurance business and the drug company business not on The People and their health needs.

  25. 1539days says:

So, who thinks Donald Trump hired a CEO to run State because he needs a financial analysis of what Hillary did to the State Department’s money?

    • Somebody says:

That may be a part of it, but I think it goes well beyond Hillary Clinton. The state department need to be revamped, it operates in many ways like we’re still in the 1800’s. On top of that it is inundated with globalist and a lot of truly bad policies emanate from the state department. The mind set at state has not been American-centric for a long time. Add to that a lot of our foreign policy is driven by oil and energy, not only with regard to our nation but our allies too.

I think having a businessman familiar with energy is a big plus. Hopefully a businessman that is better at negotiating on behalf of our nation. Last, but not least, a businessman that can clear out the dead wood and modernize the entire department. Supposedly he’ll have Bolton as his under-secretary and Bolton clearly knows diplomacy……Bolton also knows the ropes at State.

I think its a little more interesting than that. All of our wars, every country’s economy, our own GDP – everything revolves around the price of oil. Tillerson owns the largest oil company in the world and by default is the biggest fish in the pond.

Considering our foreign policy has a lot to do with oil and oil producing countries, he’d be the toughest negotiator on our behalf on the world stage. I think thats probably a really brilliant albeit risky move.

If Trump can prove that Tillerson would be advancing his (Trump’s) agenda, then I would support this choice of SOS, if for nothing else, just for the muscle he’d bring on our behalf

#FakeNews from HuffingGluePost. We’ll never get the progs to acceptance as long as sh*t like this is published about the Russians involvement in the election can get Hillary installed as President?

Can we go back to the rigged Dem primary first? There’s actual proof that happened.

    Obama’s legacy, sigh.

Someone in the comments mentioned that the photo of the “First Family” wasn’t taken for the Christmas card. It was the photo of them at the girls’ first State Dinner. I knew Sasha’s dress looked familiar. I remembered looking at other frocks designed by the same designer when I sW the photo.
So his “legacy” is one of laziness and never inconveniencing himself – even to taking a final photo of him and his family who are so grateful to the American people for the opportunity to rape and pillage the economy, employment, safety, and race relations.

This pedo ring arrest is a real story – I was reading via Google translate the Norwegian coverage, saw the police press conference

Very scary vm. I went to links, and they’re either in the Wayback, or 404’s. Why don’t they want us to be aware of this story? Too close to the Pizzagate story? They sure ramped up the fake news story headline when this story was getting the most buzz.

I went to German and Norwegian sites. There are 51 people involved. An officer reported that many of the suspects were highly educated and include lawyers and politicians. It was called operation “Dark Room’.

Now, when we do a little research, one has to ask why the media here is hiding this story!

What kind of dog is Ellie?

Hubby wants a dog, an outdoor one. Kid the Elder has allergies. So we’ve been researching and stuff.
Kid the younger does not want a small dog. I don’t want a big dog.

So, medium-sized dog which does not trigger KTE’s allergies.

It;s tougher than it seems to find one.

        • elliesmom says:

Ellie is a first generation Golden Doodle. Her mom is a golden retriever and her dad a standard sized poodle. She’s a big dog because Jack was a very large poodle, but some doodles were originally bred using a small poodle, and those dogs ended up being medium-sized, about like a beagle. Doodles are now being bred doodle to doodle, and one of the traits that’s being sought is a poodle coat. Ellie has a non-shedding curly coat. It requires a lot of care to keep her from matting, but the trade-off is I don’t have her hair all over the place. Our golden retriever’s hair kept my vacuum cleaner clogged. It’s hard to say whether a doodle would be hypo-allergenic or not. Most people who have allergies are allergic to the pet’s dander. With any cross-bred dog, whether accidental or a “luxury mix”. it’s hard to say which traits will get passed on and which don’t. Some you can control for, and some you can’t.

Rogers was cleared for the DNI job which means the CIA reports to him. Rogers wants the Russian narrative in the media to deflect attention from the Deep State’s SOFT COUP. Everything else including the suggestion of Trump’s HIGH TREASON with Putin is disinformation. The end. If you’re keeping score…

I got in invitation via FB to attend an event. It’s in Davis Square, Somerville in a theater. Davis Square is home to Tufts University and a subway stop from Harvard.

If you hold the American values of freedom and justice for all above all else, if you believe that all people, without exception, deserve equal access, respect, dignity, and safety, we invite you to join your neighbors and fellow community members who are deeply troubled by the discriminatory, disrespectful, and dangerous rhetoric we’ve heard from President-Elect Donald Trump, his chosen advisors, and some of his supporters.

We will be convening a speaker panel of community leaders and advisors to discuss effective and peaceful ways to raise your voice, reach out to your representatives, and elevate your community and your country. Our intention is to provide you with the information and tools to both do something and be part of something. Attendees will be invited to ask questions and engage with speakers.

    Let’s Progress!

The event was advertised as free and open to the public, but somewhere along the way it became a sold-out, ticketed event. What they would like from me, since I wasn’t invited until there were no seats left, is to make a donation to their GoFundMe so they can make it available to me through some kind of technology, maybe live or maybe to watch later. There are a lot of progs who signed up before it became a “sold-out, ticketed event” who are very upset about being uninvited and asked for money. No rationale is being offered for how the tickets were distributed, just that a cross-section of the community will be there. When I asked if they needed any more Trump supporters to round out the group, I got removed from the list. Or it could have been because I told them they spelled “adviser” incorrectly. It’s hard to know sometimes. It will be fun to watch the reaction of progs who show up w/o tickets because the only way they will know they’ve been “uninvited” is to go back to the event page. They’re not doing anything to let people who signed up know individually. They have also been “Jill Stein” vague about what happens to any money they get beyond what it costs to get someone with a smart phone and a FB account to post the event both live and archived online.
