Faithless Elector is a Fucking Liar

The plot sickens:

No record of ‘faithless elector’ Chris Suprun as a 9/11 first responder

The Republican elector who has gotten national attention for refusing to vote for Donald Trump at the Electoral College on Dec. 19 was apparently not a first responder on September 11, 2001 as he has stated for years and has a questionable career history, according to an investigation by WFAA.

Chris Suprun, 42, portrays himself as a heroic firefighter who was among the first on the scene after the third plane flew into the Pentagon on 9/11.

In a heavily-publicized editorial this month for the New York Times, Suprun stated that as a member of the Electoral College he will not cast his ballot for Trump because the president-elect “shows daily he is not qualified for the office.”

Suprun, a Dallas resident for more than a decade, even used his résumé to establish credibility in the Times piece, writing in the second paragraph: “Fifteen years ago, as a firefighter, I was part of the response to the Sept. 11 attacks against our nation.”

He has founded a nonprofit called Never Forget and state records show he is a licensed paramedic — but much of the rest of résumé, publicly available on LinkedIn, is questionable.

In addition, on at least two occasions over the last couple years at crowded Major League Baseball games, Suprun has been introduced as a 9/11 veteran before throwing out first pitches.

“He claimed to be a first responder with the Manassas Park [Virginia] Fire Department on September 11, 2001 and personally told us stories ‘I was fighting fire that day at the Pentagon.’ No, I was on a medic unit that day at the Pentagon and you make a phone call to Manassas Park and you find out that he wasn’t even employed there until October 2001,” said a first responder who knows Suprun and only agreed to speak about him if his identity was concealed.

The City of Manassas Park confirmed to WFAA that it hired Suprun on October 10, 2001, one month after the 9/11 attacks.

The fire chief there added that his department never even responded to the Pentagon or any of the 9/11 sites.

“It’s no different than stolen valor for the military; dressing up and saying ‘Hey, I earned a Purple Heart’ when you weren’t even in combat.’ There’s a big difference between shopping at Old Navy and being a Navy SEAL,” said the first responder who knows him.

But Suprun’s résumé raises even more questions.

It shows he was, at the time this story aired on WFAA, a paramedic with Air Methods air ambulance service. But Christina Brodsly, a spokeswoman for that company, said he is not an employee there.

Suprun also claims to currently be a paramedic with Freedom EMS in Dallas. But records from the Texas Department of State Health Services indicate there’s no such company. A firm with that name used to exist in Houston, but it went out of business in 2008, according to DSHS.

Turns out, federal court records show Suprun has spent the last five years in bankruptcy while his résumé says he was working. He even collected unemployment during part of it, court records show. Suprun was just released from bankruptcy supervision this month.

He never responded to multiple emails from WFAA and calls to his telephone go to a recording which says his voicemail is full.

Two public relations firms he has hired – Megaphone Strategies and Fenton Communications – responded to our requests for an interview saying: “Suprun’s schedule is jammed packed.”

This act of journalism was performed by a local news station in Dallas. (WFAA Channel 8) Don’t expect to see this story on CNN.

  1. I watched Obama’s presser until he started talking then I turned it off.

  2. Apparently I have been banned from Buffoon Juice again. Time to start a new alias.

  3. DeniseVB says:

He’s STILL talking. Then off to Hawaii !! Meanwhile……and here I thought DJT would take a little break at Mar-A-Lago after Orlando.

    • DeniseVB says:

Ok, now I know where T gets his energy….

    • Somebody says:

The rally in Mobile is his last thank you rally and I bet it’s going to be YUGE. He has an enormous crowd there early on in the primaries. Plus it’s close enough for the FL panhandle voters to attend so it’s sort of a second thank you rally for FL. Orlando would be a hoof from the panhandle, heck it’s closer to me but no way to make a 7pm rally on a weeknight especially with a 3.5 hour drive! Going to an Orlando rally from the panhandle would most likely involve spending the night at a hotel.

      • DeniseVB says:

The only way I got to a Trump rally is because I could see the rooftop of the venue from my house 🙂 Bless their hearts, the campaign keeps sending me (or my zip code) to all his events within 500 miles of my house. Yeah, right. Next up Inauguration and the DeploraBall !

      • blowme0bama says:

He came to a venue about 2 miles down the road from me but I didn’t feel like dealing with a line. I thought he was going to come back to all the states that swung his way, but guess not. Wifey’s recovering from surgery and driving to Mobile + standing in line ain’t going to happen.

  4. Somebody says:

I think a little more digging will find a trail of money to Suprun. Either that or he’s hoping for a book deal. I doubt it’s blackmail as many have suspected. He has no money, we all know about AM, he’s already divorced, now we all know he’s a phony in every way. What is there to blackmail?

I think he was promised something to pull this stunt or maybe not, maybe he was just seeking his 15 minutes of fame.

Am I the only one that thinks he resembles Glen Beck?

The idiot’s cap is too small, sits too high, falls off often. Second hand store stuff.

  6. Mt.Laurel says:

I was in my office on Arlington Boulevard just a couple miles west of the Pentagon on 9/11 and they used the parking lot of the center as one of the coordination points/checkpoints. That is a heck of a lot closer than Manassas Park. And on the actual day. Can we all say because we moved some chairs and tables from offices to help them set up a base in our building that we too were first responders? The crews from the deli, 7-11 and McDonalds were handing out coffee, cold drinks and food. They should all get to claim same.

He sounds likes he might be Hillarys’ long lost son. Crazy lying liar.

  7. taw46 says:

OK, I listened to most of the presser, which is unusual for me since I can’t stand to hear him talk. He did not knock Trump, he talked about having conversations with him about transition. As an answer to a question, he said Russia did not affect voting, no evidence anywhere of tampering of voting 11/8. He said Russia hacked DNC and Podesta emails. He called press out for their obsession with WikiLeaks and not covering the difference between the two candidates. There was more, but I mainly wanted to hear what he would say about Russia.

    • Lulu says:

With Putin he has to put up or shut up. He basically shut up with a little whining at the media for the blame game. I heard him saying basically that running the White House AND a political party was too much for HIM to do. He by inference trashed ALL Dems for being losers as he did his job but they didn’t. He is a piece of work.

      • taw46 says:

He is, isn’t he? Then he tried to be the centrist, saying all people wanted was a good job and for their kids to get a good education. Like that was his focus for the last 8 yrs. Just go. Please.

OTOH, if you have a couple hours to kill and you want some entertainment, it’s not bad.

  19. Miranda says:

I overheard an interesting conversation a few days ago. A man and woman were sitting in a booth behind us, and they were discussing, very seriously and passionately, the election and all those ‘dumb, mean midwesterners’ and their ‘fake deities’ and how California was going to secede and ‘cut off everyone’s internet’. As mr.miranda said, it was dinner and a show.
