Well, this is right on topic then 😀

  2. The Raiders’s first trip to the playoffs in 14 years didn’t last long. Just a little over three hours.

  3. 49erDweet says:

Sure we’re a lot of dropped balls out there. Was this the Junior Varsity?

  4. lyn says:

    Isn’t that special. #ObamaPukefest

Betsy has a massive task ahead of her.
She’s already getting some sage advice it appears.

  7. Somebody says:

Definitely a puke fest. I made it to the Tom Hanks part about Cuba.

I’ll be having my “Obama moment” on January 20th……bye Felicia!

    • lateblum says:

I’m with Somebody on the “Obama moment” on January 20th.
I didn’t even try to watch the video. And I don’t plan to.

      • lyn says:

I’ll be having a special Obama movement on January 20th.
I will not watch the Obama slobber pusses. Obama’s long goodbye is getting old.

        • lateblum says:

Id really like to go to Trump Chicago for a drink in the bar while he is swearing in.
I hope your house and car port are surviving the storms………
          and you, too, of course!

  8. blowme0bama says:

The comments under the video on YouTube are nauseating.

  9. DeniseVB says:

Something light for #Pukefest. A guy who photoshops himself in Kendall Jenner photos (one includes puking!) These are great…..

  10. She seems nice.

    • Constance says:

I think she might be in my wine and book club.

      • Lulu says:

Virtue signaling is a national pastime. Angry, huffy, superior virtue signaling is for advanced players. I see she is from the tech industry so of course she twitters.

    • 1539days says:

This argument is essentially over. Computers and tech went to Silicon Valley or Washington State. Tech writing went to New York City. Decades ago, young people would tend to work in the big city, get married and eventually move further out to the suburbs. Now they just stay in cities for generations.

This whole “you’ll get our fabulous city money if you enact all our socialist ideas into law” bargain has failed. The reason why 65 million people voted for Hillary and she lost is because liberals chose to isolate themselves into smaller and smaller areas to the point where they are in a literal safe space. Small towns don’t even wan them anymore. That city money comes at too high a price.

    • Jadzia says:

There have been no jobs in my home region (the Upper Peninsula of Michigan) since at least the mid-1970s. And we have a vibrant, unique culture. Byerley can go fuck herself with that wi-fi fiber she is so interested in.

  11. DandyTIger says:

Ah, memorable “moments.” I thought they said memorable movements. I had one of those earlier today. Dayam, what the hell did I eat to produce that?

    • Lulu says:

They are eulogizing him like he is dead. LOL. This is a phase of grief and they are almost ready for him to go away. The format is dead people remembered at the Academy Awards.

  12. Propertius says:

My most memorable “Obama moment”? Well, I just got a fundraising email from the DNC talking about Obama’s “final political speech”.

I’ve been waiting for that for over 8 years now.

    • Somebody says:

I’d tear up over that…….what a spectacular thought, Obama’s last speech! Except it’s not. I would honestly contribute a couple of bucks if it truly meant I’d never have to listen to him again.

It is a nice moment though, however brief, to think that you may never have to hear him drone on again. Thanks for sharing!

  13. Lulu says:

It is all about the marketing. Our first 100% marketed prez. A nothing burger guy gets marketed as something unique and special and a genius. It was false advertising. He is being succeeded by a better marketer which is one of the reasons they are so pissed as these folks market fantasy too. A product example would be Evian spring water (tap water in a nice bottle for their designer backpack) getting the shit beat out of them in sales by Red Bull which make the consumer hyper. Elegantly hydrated versus hyper do’ers. Empty symbolism against full charge achievement. Indolent blah blah versus a bull dozier. The whiplash is still giving them trouble and they can’t quite process it yet.

    • Propertius says:

You’re confusing Evian with Dasani, I think. 😉

Dasani actually is packaged tap water. Coca-Cola has freely admitted that.

  14. DeniseVB says:

Bless their hearts, celebs still trying to be relevant……

    • Lulu says:

I think the Irish call these wakes. In the South we call them “visitations”. Everyone says nice things about the deceased even if he was a bastard and watch the family try to figure out where the money or deeds are stashed.

  15. Dora says:

  16. DeniseVB says:

Jill Stein is starting a new “resistance” ? LOL, so glad I’m leaving the day after and miss all the cray-crays ……

    • elliesmom says:

Jill Stein was born in Chicago. She moved to MA to go to Harvard. The only position she’s been able to get elected to is “Town Meeting Representative” in very liberal Lexington, MA. It’s pretty much a neighborhood volunteer position. She resigned halfway through her “term” to run for governor. Running for POTUS on the Green Party ticket is sort of the same, but this time Stein, through her recall efforts, is walking away with a couple of million bucks in “leftover donations” in her pocket. Kind of like Bernie’s new house. If 2016 manages to disillusion some of the snowflakes about their “liberal heroes”, that would be a good thing.

      • DeniseVB says:

Oh great, Elizabeth Warren lite. And that is lower than pond scum. Whines about billionaires while pocketing, literally, chump change of 2mil. Wake up you fools.

    • kanaughty says:

What a joke if they think greens and socialists are the 99% of our population. Fuck her if she can’t do math comparatively based on our election even. If anything it’s more like 50-50% with the election number. But it’s still not that much because there are a lot of old school moderate dems/clinton dems who were loyal and not total leftists who voted for hrc.

      • DeniseVB says:

Stein’s an idiot, just using the angry left to fill her coffers, because Trump or something, and they’re too stupid to realize that.

  18. lateblum says:

My favorite “Obama moment” numbers 3. . .
The first was in 2007, before he was officially running for The office. It took place in a townhall meeting very near me. Amid all the arrogance (e.g. his refusal to answer questions, his filibustering to take up time) he demonstrated his clear lack of information. He had declared himself to be an avid and active opponent of the Iraq war. A woman stood and introduced herself as a Gold Star Mom and then proceeded to ask him what he planned to do to facilitate the end to the war. His response was, “I’m certain you are a good mother. But I’m only a freshman senator and have no plans to introduce anything because no one listens to a first term senator.” (What an absolutely stupid, ignorant, arrogant response. imo) The audience, made up mostly of high school and college kids, and anti-war activists, groaned. Then one of his assistants explained to him what a GoldStarMom was. He didn’t apologize for his error. But he at least offered his condolences. I was near enough to him at that time to hear his aide offer her advice so he could amend his answer to the woman. That was my first clue about his veracity. Anyone who was really active in the anti-war movement in Chicago knew what/who the Gold Star Moms were.
The second “Obama moment” was Benghazi. All of it. Benghazi had the most lasting impression on me. And in the end, cost him, his SOS and his party.
The third “moment” is yet to come. But it will be when he leaves the WH. I realize that won’t be the end of him – unfortunately. But he and his own group of A-listers, thugs, charlatans and sycophants, will no longer be inside that symbol of our government and our leader.

  19. John Denney says:

    A lot of that video was, “I felt . . .”

In her book, “Demonic”, Ann Coulter lays out how a lot of people are driven by emotion, rather than logic and facts, contrasting the French revolution (emotionally driven mobs) with the American Revolution (disciplined logic and reasoning based in fact).
