Who Leaked #Pissgate?

In all the hubbub over the past two days, a very important question needs to be asked. Who leaked #pissgate, and why?

Classified documents presented last week to President Obama and President-elect Trump included allegations that Russian operatives claim to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump, multiple US officials with direct knowledge of the briefings tell CNN.

Once more, with emphasis:

Classified documents presented last week to President Obama and President-elect Trump included allegations that Russian operatives claim to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump, multiple US officials with direct knowledge of the briefings tell CNN.

Last time I checked, leaking classified information was a serious crime. So where is the investigation? Was this a coup attempt by the “deep state?” Were the leakers patriotic whistleblowers or political hacks? Were they acting on their own or were they just following orders?

I could totally believe that the CIA did this hit as a shot across the bow of Trump because they are afraid he will cut off funding for some profitable scheme they have been running. But it is really clumsy and one thing I’ve always liked about Trump is he is so filthy rich you can’t bribe him. I also don’t think he is prone to any excess behaviors as he has enough wealth that he would have destroyed himself long ago since he could afford to feed any desired excess.

from what I read earlier today, Trump did not receive the additional 2 pages containing the lies. They let him be blindsided with the story going public.
bad move, he has a long memory

    CYA maybe?

The Corrupt News Network is LOSING it. For fun I tuned in for a few minutes here and there, and they are all incensed and in high dudgeon curmudgeon mode. How dare he, how could he, we have never, the swooning couches are out, and the clutched pearls are falling all over, and occasionally being choked on.
They are so irony impaired. They said with great concern, you know this could happen to other news organizations!!! Where the Fuck have they been, while Hussein and company, railed on Fox news for the past 8 years?

    • I don’t have a problem with journalists being rude and oppositional. But they should expect pushback. What makes me sick is a press that is obsequious and sycophantic.

      • Lulu says:

I have a problem with disruptive assholes who are trying to prevent others from asking their questions. Acosta acted entitled because he works for CNN which is a large, if useless, media presence. I guess he never saw the clips of Ramos getting ejected for being an ass. Notice the other people sitting in the audience waiting and hoping for a turn were not exactly thrilled with his antics eating up question asking time which could be going to them. Each media outlet does NOT get a question at every news conference. He came off as a whiny baby wanting to “explain” and argue rather than ask a question which is why he was dressed down. The bosses at CNN need to talk to the Trump administration about what they did and not some pipsqueak reporter trying to set up a confrontation with the big boss. Trump has a new pecking order for the media and they need to get used to it.

I have questions about drainage problems along the Rio Grande. LOL. It should be built in the middle of that ugly little river so Mexico can only get half of the water drain off, do their illegal net fishing only on their side and so Texas doesn’t have to clean it up and deploy fish and wildlife wardens along every inch of it to stop the Mexicans from poaching and polluting it with all their garbage dumped. The Rio Grande is basically a drainage ditch in a brushy dessert. As far as wildlife goes it is known for all the birds who can fly over a wall so no problem there.

      • Constance says:

We don’t have to place the wall on the exact border. Go inland a few miles where it is convenient.

    Who leaked #pissgate, and why?
A Hail Mary pass by interests who see their gravy train ending. It is always about money in DC.

Classified documents presented last week to President Obama and President-elect Trump…
A lie of course. It was never given to Trump. And he said himself in the presser that all of his briefings by “intelligence” have been immediately leaked. Thus he didn’t tell anyone on his staff he was having a briefing and it was immediately leaked anyway. WITH LIES THAT HE HAD BEEN BRIEFED ON SOMETHING, A SCANDAL, IN WHICH HE WAS NOT BRIEFED. So Trump knows the not-very-intelligent government stooges who have been briefing him, their bosses, and their bosses at the White House are leaking classified information which is really just libellous crap collected by political opponents for money to ruin him and stop the nest of worms continuing the parasitic bloat of defrauding taxpayers for their real bosses.

So Clapper the liar called Trump to apologize. His employees must be freaking out and whispering about spilling the beans to stay out of jail and name names of who ordered it all which of course is THE WHITE HOUSE. Because Jeff Sessions is going to be confirmed and he prosecutes and even uses the death penalty. Cory Booker was sacrificed to commit political suicide to try to save the gravy train. Hail Mary, Full of grace…..

They can take their always guaranteed 55ecv’s with them too. 🙂

      • kanaughty says:

They buy water from washington state making water bills higher in washington state then anywhere else i ever lived. So frankly i don’t know where california would get their water from to farm and for vineyards if the seceeded and they think we’d be missing out if they left. They’d have no agricultural base anymore to feed or “water” (drink as in wine 🙂 their citizens with. And then cali with vineyards closing shop would lose a big chunk of their business tax base.

        • kanaughty says:

Cali gov is like nevertrump thinking they are a way bigger deal than they are to the whole us economy when infact they at least take as much from fed money as they give, but most likely take more because of all the illegals.

    Mike Rowe, class act.
    Lifted from Guns.com
    Justin Dobson
Former “Dirty Jobs” host Mike Rowe is known for his down-to-earth attitude and although he’s no doubt achieved celebrity status, he’s managed to still keep it real. And when he recently took the time to pen a letter to a dying veteran, the response from all parties was nothing short of honorable and emotional.

“Dear Mike: I sit here in tears, because of you. Our son Justin – a strong willed, a special forces military man who fought in countries where most of us will never go, loves to watch and read about you. ‘Totally an admirable man.’ That’s what he always says about you,” the veteran’s mother, Diane Dobson, wrote to Rowe.

Dobson went on to say that following what she described as an afternoon involving “a horrible experience” that left her son, Justin, who is dying from ALS, physically and emotionally wrecked, the mail came. In the mail that day was a letter to Justin from Mike Rowe.

“It brought tears to his eyes just knowing you took the time out to acknowledge him,” Dobson continued. “So, from two parents who are watching their son die a slow and horrible death, brought on by defending our freedom in other countries, we send you our deepest gratitude.”

    Rowe’s response?

    Hi Diane,

I suspect words like “Merry” and “Happy” are difficult to hear at the moment, so I’ll forego the holiday greetings, and simply say “you’re welcome.”

I was very sad to learn of your son’s illness, and deeply humbled that a man like Justin finds me “admirable.” Please assure him the feeling is mutual.

The truth is, acknowledging Justin’s service is both an honor and a privilege. I know that my freedom and my liberty were bought and paid for by people like your son. I know his freedom is now being removed one day at a time. I know that his liberty is being slowly denied, by an enemy he cannot overcome.

I would like you to know, that your note reminded me of just how tenuous it all is. Our freedom. Our liberty. Our health. It’s all so fragile. And so damn easy to take for granted.

Sooner or later, our bodies will fail us. There are no exceptions. But what Justin did with his body while it was still in his control, has left me forever in his debt, and mindful of what matters most. Because ultimately, there is no greater threat to our freedom, than a lack of gratitude to those who provide it.

Your note is a reminder that acknowledging soldiers like Justin, requires me to count my many blessings, and vow to be a better version of myself. Actually Diane, it’s more than a reminder – it’s a gift. A gift from you and your son.

A gift for which we, the undersigned, are most grateful.

    [ Mike Rowe ]

Who leaked it? During the past 24 hours, I’d say that orders to distribute the material were given to the Gang of 8 from the White House. Trump’s agenda to deal with illegal immigration would really hit them hard in the pocket.

If you watched the confirmation hearings and have been paying attention to names floating around in the news, you may recognize a few of them

    Sen. Michael Bennet, D-CO
    Sen. Richard J. Durbin, D-IL

    Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-SC
    Sen. John McCain, R-AZ
    Sen. Bob Menendez, D-NJ
    Sen. Marco Rubio, R-FL
    Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-NY

I need a break from my online knitting group. A battle has broken out over the pink pussy hats. I’m not sure why women think it helps their cause to make themselves look ridiculous. The fight for women’s rights happens at the ballot box, in the courtroom, and in the boardroom. Street marches are all about the numbers, not the fashion statement. I love to knit, but if this had been something that mattered to me, I would have taken the money it took to make the hats and pooled it to help send more women to DC. Some of these women have been knitting 24/7 to make sure everyone has a hat. smh The hats never came up in my real life knitting club, but my friend Carol, who reminds me of my MIL would have been clueless about the march, but would have had a lot to say about “the indignity of a grown women dressing like a child”. I’ve heard her opinion of My Little Pony shirts on adults. lol

The Senate has just made the first move to overturn Obamacare. With any luck, it will be repealed by January 20th! Trump says that he wants an immediate replacement, but I doubt that the votes are there for much of anything. I’m hoping that the whole scheme will collapse under its own weight over the coming year. Anyway, we’re definitely on the way to uprooting the vast socialist system and returning America to greatness. With Obamacare gone, congress can get its act together and pull the plug on the rest of the great Cuban-style system. Abolishing Social Security Disability Insurance would be a great way to start. Good times!

    • Constance says:

I don’t see why for starters the gov can’t put out specs for a basic policy that will be legal under the new law and make it so it can be be sold across state lines. That way the insurance companies will be ready to go to offer a new product, that is of course if they want to participate in the new markets. This time I hope we get health care reform rather than insurance reform.

      • NBD says:

Nothing wrong with that, but a big concern is that the current Obamacare regulations require coverage of everyone at essentially the same rate. Insurers will want to exclude high-risk policyholders or bill them at higher rates, which is how insurance works under capitalism. Now that the taxes, subsidies, and mandates are on the way out, insurers must be given the freedom to use variable rates for those who want insurance. I’m not sure the current congress wants to repeal regulations that bar differential rates for pre-existing conditions, obesity, bad medical history, etc. That’s why I think the whole scheme will collapse this year, which would bring us back to where we were in 2008. I’ll take the old system over Obamacare any day.

        • lateblum says:

Sadly, BlueCross here had a glitch in its renewal program and was unable to renew the state employees HMO contracts. The program may be up and running later today or tomorrow. But until then, clients will have to pay full fees for services and drugs out of pocket and wait until their contracts have been renewed. They then will have to apply for their reimbursements..

        • Constance says:

Well I’d say the if you have had insurance for years then the insurance industry has no business acting like you are a new person they’ve never seen each year when you renew. So I’ve had the same group insurance since I was 28 and the group pays the same rate for everyone. They got the cheap years of insuring me and they should not be able to dump now that i’m old.

        • Constance says:

Also I have no sympathy for complaints on insuring 22 through 26 year olds on their parents insurance. That age group is cheap to insure. And I’m sick of the birth insurance controversy. All people are born so all people need to pay into birthing facilities and services.

Very bad things happen if you paint a bullseye on your own forehead around Trump. Media Matters doesn’t understand these media companies are really competitors and none of them have any kind of scruples.
