Feel Good Story Of The Day

This post from Ed Klein at Townhall makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside:

The Last Days of the Obama White House

…While Obama has been smiling through a so-called “victory lap” with 60 Minutes, The New York Times and other liberal outlets, we’ve been talking to a source who portrays a far different picture—an angry, deeply hurt, and depressed Obama, who can’t get over his party’s defeat at the polls, which he takes as a personal rebuke by the American public.

This source has visited the Obama White House on numerous occasions over the past eight years. He’s slept in the Lincoln Bedroom, dined with the Obama family in the Residence, and received regular updates on the psychological temperature in the Oval Office.

This week, Ed Klein Confidential is going to allow this unimpeachable source speak in his own voice. Here’s his verbatim report about the thin-skinned Obama:

“Barack can’t wait to get out of the White House. It is now the grimmest place in the world. The atmosphere is funereal: everybody looks like they just lost their best friend and their dog.

“Barack is supposed to be cheering people up but he can barely muster a smile. He knows there is nothing much he can do to make his staff feel any better. And it’s just getting worse, with Trump rolling out his Cabinet picks.

“Barack says his whole staff needs counseling to get over their grief. But Barack, Michelle, and Valerie Jarrett have gone from trying to comfort the staff to avoiding them.

“Valerie says that Barack is the worst she has ever seen him. He is grumpy and snaps at people. Michelle is worse; she’s enraged.

“Valerie says she has tried to keep the Obamas separated during the work day, because they bring each other down even more.

“Everybody believes that once it’s over and the Obamas move into their new house in D.C., things will be better. But as long as they are in the White House, it is a constant reminder that Donald Trump is preparing to move in and replace them.

“The only thing that makes them feel better are plans to stop Trump from getting things done. From what Valerie says, that is going to be Barack’s main job going forward—leading the resistance to Trump.

“But Valerie also says that Barack is so distraught right now that he can’t even focus on fighting Trump.”

I love a story with a happy ending.

Interesting story. Ed Klein usually has the good stuff.

If only those two would feel the misery daily that they have wrought on so many in this country, I would be thrilled. Barry has scorched this country and broken so many with lies. That critter Mike that wears the dress is another hater that I can do without. I never want to see or hear from Oprah or Mike again. Why can these odious people not just move along quietly?

Oh, I believe they’ll feel misery daily. Trump is going to show what an ineffective pResident Obama truly was. Between undoing every damned thing Obama got such a thrill rubbing our noses in for 8 years, to getting actual beneficial results, Obama will be miserable, and I’ll love every second I reflect on his and mooch’s despair.

The front post concerning the current WH depression *did* give me warm and happy feelings all over.

Rot in hell you traitorous, destructive hell-spawn.

For a while now, we have been hearing how Obama was going to “bring it” to Trump during his time as expotus. I am not feeling it. I could be wrong, but the man barely brought it while he was in office. He was prezzy between golf rounds and parties, and even then it was soooo hard. And we had Mooch to tell us no one knew how hard it was foir her, so I don’t see her lighting any fires under him to do anything that requires any exertion. He might have a rubber stamp of approval handy.
Really working at something? I will be surprised.
They will gravitate to parties, celebratory events, giving paid speeches to lots of applause and places like Palm Springs and Hawaii. It will be interesdting to see if he has the guts to leave the country, when he isn’t potus.anymore.

    • Lulu says:

He will “bring it” just enough and at a bare minimum to get bucks and some air time on television. It will peter out pretty soon since he has no more power. He was really, really looking forward (and Mooch) to being jet-setters and being wined and dined and boring the shit out of effete intellectuals and billionaires. It ain’t gonna happen. Globalism imploded on his watch. Bill and Hill can’t do it and they can be charming. Bronco and Mooch are not that even.

      • swanspirit says:

I agree. I don’t think he will be getting that much airtime, after a while, either. Trump doesn’t let any grass grow under his feet, and the press will be hard pressed (lol) to keep up.

    • 49erDweet says:

Only people being paid will put up with them. Most CA desert area residents are probably already fed up, so this next trip might not go as well as expected. Ex-presidential motorcades are expected to obey most traffic laws, so that’s boring.

    • kanaughty says:

You are right. BO is always all words, no action. Too many words and threats but no actual fight just a lot of name calling and threats.

    • lateblum says:

Every one of them is n a safe district. All those districts went HRC in the November election. No Democrat Senators are boycotting the inauguration. And, per Fox News, Dem senators have ignored calls from the house to resist the inauguration.

    Watching Betsy DeVos confirmation hearings.
Every dem I think has asked about tax returns and referred to her wealth as potentially having an impact on the performance of her job.
Patty Murray D-Washington even brought up Trump’s tax returns….again.
Murray was one of the senators on that chart we all saw 2 days ago that took north of 400 grand from the drug companies.
One dude asked her what she was going to do about campus rape !
Hell, wouldn’t the campus administration be in charge of that ?

    These people are disgusting.

    • CiscoKid says:

Did anyone ask about Sharptons income tax evasion?
      I didn’t think so.

      • AFVet says:

No, but Bernie Sanders tried to get her to agree that college tuition should be free.
And, Lamar Alexander (chairman) shut down Liz Warren big time. It was great to behold.

        • Constance says:

Warren is so arrogant and smug. I absolutely can’t stand her. My Senator Murray looked like an idiot with her virtue signaling.

    • Constance says:

Murray, who is my Senator took the chance to say how outraged she was at Trump stating he forced sexual attention on women. Too bad DeVos didn’t say “I found that as outrageous as President Clinton’s deviant sexual behavior”.

      • AFVet says:

Yes, and all through the hearing the dems complained about the failing school systems and asked her what she was going to do to fix it, asking her whether she would adhere to the policies that they approved of that put the schools in the shape they are in.

I wish Betsy would have said “well, whose fault is it that the schools are failing?”

One only hopes that all the money the Obamas will be paid after leaving office for all the services Obama rendered unto the OverClass while in office . . . will not be enough to make the Obamas feel serene or happy.

May all their Big Tubmans be as ash and broken light bulbs within their mouths.
