    It’s Here At Last!

    • Constance says:

She is stunning and the clothes I’ve seen her in so far are worthy of her. That powder blue coat dress! Drool!

    • Now y’all can see what I mean about the nod to Marilyn Monroe. This is basically the same dress she wore for JFK’s birthday, but with sleeves and floor length. A very elegant adaptation.

  2. I’m hoping that one of my co-bloggers will pick up the slack because I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be conscious.

  3. Dora says:

    This was funny. 🙂

VIDEO: Al Franken And Rick Perry Share A Hilarious Moment During His Confirmation Hearing…

    Dare you not to laugh.

    • Al Franken is a good guy. I wish more Dems were like him.

      • Lulu says:

If Al would loosen up with the SJW shit he would like Perry who is a hoot. Rick is dumb-sly funny. He could take him down to the Rio Grande and put Al in an air-boat and chase illegals up and down the river. Al could see the “mules” with giant packs on their backs bringing in drug loads to kill his constituents with heroin and meth.

  4. Dora says:

    What a gorgeous couple.

    • Lulu says:

If you want to see Dems loose their shit, televise the arrival of forensic criminal and audit teams at all of the agency headquarters like swarms of bees.

      • kanaughty says:

It would remind me of office space when those guys show up to ask each employee what they do 🙂

  5. Lulu says:

I always get sick of prezzies after eight years. Always want to see the back of them. But this one is off the charts. I may be wrong, I frequently am, but the Democrats are headed for oblivion. The sorest, butthurt, immature, nasty losers of all time. I recommend Sen Manchin change parties next week. There will be ZERO cooperation from here out and that will be the complete end of them except as regional “boutique” party of nuts and add to their further marginalization. Big Labor should do the same as a “moderate” sub-group of Republicans to get in line with their members. Democrats are acting like berserkers on a final suicide run.

The money is going to be cut off and Dems got nothing. Nada. Zip. Kaput. They are going to have to look to rich donors for everything as the tax payer is tapped out and angry. Pay for your own shit why don’t you? The audits will start in a few months and it is going to be shocking and UGGG-LY which is why I think the Dems are going bat-shit and federal employees are threatening to quit which is in line with predictive behavior of crooks and incompetents. Dems are scared sick.

    • Lulu says:

“What happened the next night shocked even the most pessimistic Democrats. But in another sense, it was the reckoning the party had been expecting for years. They were counting on a Clinton win to paper over a deeper rot they’ve been worrying about—and to buy them some time to start coming up with answers. In other words, it wasn’t just Donald Trump. Or the Russians. Or James Comey. Or all the problems with how Clinton and her aides ran the campaign. Win or lose, Democrats were facing an existential crisis in the years ahead—the result of years of complacency, ignoring the withering of the grass roots and the state parties, sitting by as Republicans racked up local win after local win.”

“The patient,” says Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, “was clearly already sick.”
And they did absolutely nothing, but show contempt, continue throwing people out of the party, squash all dissent, harvest all they money they could grab, then blame everyone but themselves. They knew they had nothing but went with it any. Disgusting.

      • CiscoKid says:

        A perfect analysis Lulu.
And the Dem’s with their hired thugs just keep on alienate even their own voter base.
Two good friends, Obama and Hillary supporters are so turned off with the Party.
They ask, why aren’t Party leaders stopping them. They don’t like the ugliness.

        • lateblum says:

Party leaders aren’t stopping the behavior because they are using it as a distraction from their efforts to cover up the rot and their efforts to flee from responsibility. If they leave the mess as it is, without any acknowledgement of its existence, they can blame Trump and his people for having created it.

      • Constance says:

Hillary came to Seattle multiple times in 2016. Every time landing in the middle of town (not SEA-TAC) screwing up rush hour for the working people, every time climbed into her limo motorcade and rushed directly to Medina where the rich people live to pick up checks and be around the wealthy and then she left.
By contrast Trump came, he landed north of town so as to not screw working people during rush hour, he gave out free tickets and he met with working people.
That is all I needed to see.

    • Lulu says:

So this is someone Jeff Bezos and his squirrels have never heard of? I think their circle is really pretty small and limited to Langley and K Street.

  6. Dora says:

What a great day to celebrate a birthday. Today is her 50th. She looks great.

‘Thank you, baby’: Donald Trump pays tribute to Kellyane Conway for going on CNN to ‘destroy’ his critics when ‘my men are petrified to go on’

    • AniEm says:

8 years of Trump, followed by 8 years of Pence, followed by 8 years of Conway. Our first female president would be worth waiting for in this case. 24 straight years of integrity and…winning!

  7. Dora says:

  8. Lulu says:

Morning Joe has Schumer on kvetching his ass off. Bitching, complaining and whining is all they got. Hairy Reed left him with a big mess. Karma Chuck. Eat it!

  9. taw46 says:

I read the story about him working for Trump, here is the follow-up.

  10. Lulu says:

In the video shots of the “protesters” groups the mostly young people are so weedy, dishevelled, under-nourished looking. As well as kind of unhinged and maybe sick. Just standing around waiting they are quite sad physical specimens who should be at their peak of health.

    • kanaughty says:

I don’t know if i ever told the story about how i was in line with a bunch of late teens or early twenty somethings and they were bragging about how they got their disability checks that day. It made me sick cause they were able to stand there, they should be able to get a job for awhile to be able to even get disability. And then you have my mom, who’s been working as a preschool teacher all her life and can’t see retiring because since in a catholic school has no retirement. She’s now on medicare and has had back problems since the 80’s from a drunk driver who totaled her car. And her pain has only excerbated as she has gotten older. Her arthritis is worse than normal because of that accident and medicare won’t cover her humira like medicine and won’t let her use their discount card. So she is in so much pain now. And those little fucking kids can stand there and get free benefits for never or hardly working theough their lives and they can stand up in line, and my mom can only stand for so long. These kids disgusted me.

Melania in a beautiful powder blue suit.
As soon as you see it you think Jackie O. Sure enough, CBS talking heads echo my thought.

  12. taw46 says:

Melania is a vision in pale blue.

  13. taw46 says:

I would like to thank my cousin and this blog for helping me get though the last 8 years. 😄

    • CiscoKid says:

I joined the party late taw46, but this last year I too was helped by everyone here at TCH.
Now, I’m fucking going nuts! First Family walking into Church, First Family, relish the words.
And soon to be , Donald J. Trump, Mr. President.

  14. votermom says:

Still no Barron. Now I’m worried about the kid. I hope he’s well. How it must suck if he’s down with a 24 hour stomach flu or something.

    • Lulu says:

He is only ten. People think he is older because he is so tall. He may hate hooplah, be figgitiy and just want everything to get back to his normal. And he may be strong willed. Where could that come from? LOL.

    • lyn says:

Mama Grizzly is protecting her baby.

    • lateblum says:

I hope it’s just a virus. I had the worst thought last night. I became worried that he “disappeared” from sight after deplaning because there might have been a threat to him. I think I’ve been watching too many bad movies.

  15. Lulu says:

    Melania’s suit! OMG!

  16. taw46 says:

FNC has been talking to people all morning who came here for the Inauguration. Just wonderful, patriotic people, like the ones Mt Laurel talked about yesterday. They came here from all over the country. Loving these segments.

  18. Venus says:

    Seen on twitter:
    Here’s something fun.
Think what you’re having for lunch today.
Now think, Obama won’t be president when you eat it.

  21. lyn says:

The biggest accomplishment of Obama is his being the first black president, according the CBS talking heads.

  22. votermom says:

    2.5 hours to go!

  23. votermom says:

Guess who else starts work today? War Chief Mad Dog Mattis, that’s who!

Dan Quayle wearing a red USA hat with Trump at the back and 45 on the side.

    Huge grin on face.

TFG & Mooch waiting to greet incoming President Trump & FLOTUS

    Mooch in maroon curtain

Melania bearing a blue wrapped gift

    • taw46 says:

A gift from Tiffany’s for Mooch!

      • votermom says:

you can tell I’ve never been to Tiffany’s LOL

        • kanaughty says:

I only know about it because it is tiffany blue, their strong brand. it’s like you know those with the red bottoms is supposed to signify they are christian louboutins. They also have some tiffany blue guns, like sig sauer makes special edition ones just for women 😉

          • Jadzia says:

That blue is trademarked. I teach that in IP class and never found a use for that factoid until just this moment.

          • kanaughty says:

            Exactly jadzia!

Wheb working at one print shop, we had a historic seattle hotel that had their own pms color made that only they could use 😉

      • taw46 says:

I have bought from Tiffany’s years ago. At that time, they had small gifts for $25. Don’t know if they still do, lol.

        • Mt.Laurel says:

I have used them for wedding gifts for years and you can still get lovely items but the base is now around $75. You get wonderful service regardless of how much you pay. They know that distinctive box is unmistakable and great PR.

      • blowme0bama says:

        A banana would be appropriate.

  29. votermom says:

Mooch trying hard to smile LOL

  30. lyn says:

Melania gave Mooch something from Tiffany’s. Class.

  31. kanaughty says:

Melania’s outfit is so classy, like audrey hepburn.

    • CiscoKid says:

It’s raining, dark and cloudy here in my town, but the world, to me, has never looked brighter.
Trump has a lot to do with it, but more so that we dodged the evil of a HRC regime.

  34. votermom says:

    There’s Barron!

He does look ill. I’m guessing flu.

    • Jadzia says:

Poor little guy. Is it going around over there? One of my boys got it and it was HORRIBLE. It was mostly respiratory and gosh, it’s hard to listen to your little guy having trouble breathing.

    • lateblum says:

I’m so glad he’s there! He does looked wiped out, doesn’t he?

  35. taw46 says:

Just saw Barron going into Capitol with the family.

  36. kanaughty says:

I think this is the first inaugeration i’ve watched, unless my parents had me watch reagan’s in 1984 and i don’t remember. That’s how much i haven’t cared (working for a living but satisfied with the choice) or didn’t care for the future president – especially disliked bush 2 and BO.

  37. votermom says:

I love Kelly Conaways’ outfit! Earlier I thought it was Tiffany, lol

    • CiscoKid says:

YES! It reminds me of a Revolutionary War Uniform.
      What do yo think?

      • votermom says:

On purpose I think. She’s a general in the MAGA revolution.

      • elliesmom says:

I love the cut of the coat. I would have made it all navy blue and used red and white accessories. It would still suggest a Revolutionary War look but be more “fashion” and less costume.

      • Constance says:

I think Kellyanne’s outfit shows she has a sense of humor. It is a memorable outfit. With all of the drop dead stunning Trump women it would be impossible for an average woman to be memorable in a classic, tasteful outfit so I’m going to say Kellyanne made a good outfit choice. But you couldn’t pay me to wear it.

I’m loving the lack of Hollywood women and their clownish, lingerie inspired, crap outfits.

Mooch looks like she has “matador” sideburns.
Varney just said Melania’s suit is Ralph Lauren. His daughter works at Ralph Lauren. Ha.

    • Jadzia says:

Two reactions: (1) Michelle clearly isn’t even trying–that is basically a fancy housedress (and not a style that looks good on people with her build, and I include myself in that category)–she can look much better than that when she makes an effort; (2) Michelle also looks like she has been eating her feelings (and that is also something to which I can relate).

    • kanaughty says:

      That’s hilarious!

  42. taw46 says:

Chris Cox (bikers group) says protestors blocking at 3rd & 4th, police not doing much. The bikers have permit to be there as a group, but can’t get in. Protestors are chaining themselves to fences. Other bikers can’t get in across the bridge. But he says they have decided to just laugh at them, not let them spoil the day for the bikers.
