Barack and Michelle Obama are Enjoying the Lifestyle of the Rich and Shameless

I wanna party with Richard Branson:

Barack and Michelle Obama are all smiles as they arrive in the British Virgin Islands on Richard Branson’s private jet and head straight for his lavish private island retreat

Barack and Michelle Obama have arrived in the British Virgin Islands after jetting into the Caribbean on Richard Branson’s plane.

The former first couple posed with staff at Terrence B Lettsome International Airport, the islands’ main airport, on Monday night after a flight from California.

A photograph of the pair with their arms stretched around immigration officials and the local police commissioner appeared on social media after their quiet arrival.

They were then whisked away in a waiting motorcade to be taken to a nearby boat to complete their journey to Branson’s private retreat, Necker Island.

Workers were seen loading the small wooden vessel with the couple’s luggage before it launched.

It must be nice to have rich friends.

But wait! There’s more!

On Saturday he spent about five hours at Porcupine Creek golf course, the ultra-exclusive course owned by Oracle founder Larry Ellison.

Obama looked relaxed as he and a handful of secret service agents, negotiated the stunning 18-hole private course in several golf carts.

Obama was seen chatting and laughing with his golfing companions on the first day of his vacation and at one point fist bumped another golfer after watching a decent shot.

The world class private course in Rancho Mirage is one of the desert’s best-kept golfing secrets and rests against a mountain backdrop with a stunning rugged landscape.

The course is by-invitation-only and Golf Digest once ranked as one of the top 20 golf courses in California.

Obama played at Porcupine Creek in February this year and back in 2014 he was spotted there during another visit to the desert to meet with King Abdullah II of Jordan.

Of the three men beside’s Obama mentioned in this article, only one is a US citizen. But all three of them are feelthy rich. Branson is British and was a big supporter of Hillary Clinton and openly endorsed her, so how come the media isn’t concerned about foreign influences on the election? Branson is also a globalist who has a lot of money invested in alternative energy. He will lose those investments if oil and coal are cheap and plentiful.

I guess Necker Island is better than Jeffrey Epstein’s Pedophile Island.

But Barack Obama is no longer President, and Hillary never will be.

The question is – how much of a mind did she have to begin with?

Hillary supporter loses her mind at coffee shop.

    • I don’t think she had it with her when she came in.

    • Anthony says:

“Morning Mika” is doing a reprise of that meltdown right now.

Scarborough’s unbalanced side piece The esteemed and legendary journalist says that Trump is ignoring the women’s march over the weekend, and if he just took a minute to admit that he incited a “movement that dwarfed the size of his inauguration” instead of refusing to accept responsibility for causing women’s rights to be trampled, he would be taken more seriously by the press. Instead, she continued, he is “making her want to march even more!”

She didn’t get around to discussing how President Trump accomplished this egregious misogynistic offense in just the short 8 hours he was in office before millions of women “spontaneously” took to the streets to save our future as nation. Nor did she explain how, after 8 years of Obama, these oppressive conditions have reached such a peak that women “the world over” were forced to pick up their knitting needles and work in sweatshop conditions so they could appear before TV cameras with vaginas on their heads so the world can take what they have to say seriously.

This “grass roots global movement” seems like it’s here to stay for the next 4 – 8 years. I’m thinking of opening a yarn store… anybody want to invest in a franchise?

      • lyn says:

^This^ Trump is the scapegoat for all white men.

      • Mt.Laurel says:

The march was originally planned to celebrate Hillary and start moving sharia to the forefront and they lost. So it turned into a mess they say is anti trump but they were basically showing they would been willing to give up their rights to be one with their goddess of lies and sellout those standing in their way.

This is sad news. I don’t know how many of you are familiar with Rich Conaty, but Hubby and I listen to his radio program all the time. We have a lot of the shows recorded and listen to them at night before going to sleep, or play them in the car on long trips. I guess not many people outside NY know him, but Hubby and I feel as if we have lost an old friend.

    RIP Rich Canaty.

Radio Waves: Popular WFUV host Rich Conaty dies

Rich Conaty, longtime host of WFUV-FM’s (90.7) “The Big Broadcast,” died Dec. 30 in Catskill, N.Y., after a battle with cancer. He was 62.

The station released the following statement: “Rich was a fixture at WFUV for more than four decades, beginning as a Fordham student. A kid from Queens with a passion for the jazz and popular music of the ’20s and ’30s, he chose Fordham because it had a good radio station, and he made it better every day that he was here.”

I guess Granny or the secret service are tasked with getting Sasha to school?

As for foreign influence, it’s my understanding only republicans are susceptible to such influences just ask the media.

After sending the Obamas on an all expense paid vacation to Hawaii a month ago it boggles my mind they need another luxury vacation. Didn’t former Presidents just go home? Bless his heart, Jimmy Carter started building homes for poor people and earned his Nobel for his humanitarian efforts.

      • Constance says:

So some people EARN a Nobel that is an interesting concept!

      • Mt.Laurel says:

Well the poor things could not have been expected to stay on Palm Springs with all that rain. They might have had to talk to one another. And yes, daughter, still a minor, and they no longer have the excuse that they have official duties that separate them from their children. 😥

The same Parliament that ok’d the referendum in the first place, giving the decision to the British people. Then the remain vote threw a fit and 8 of them filed a challenge with the Court. Sort of like our recounts or trying to change the votes of the EC. The left is so predictable. Let’s do it over and over until we get the result we want.

      Stunning …

    • Jadzia says:

This is as sad as those pictures of Afghan women from the 1960s dressed in short skirts, attending university. I wonder what happened to them?

      • DeniseVB says:

They would be in their 70’s now, if they lived past their 30’s. It’s why the Women’s March made no sense to me nor speak for me. Co-organizer is a proponent of Shariah Law. Just nuts.

  9. Dora says:

It’s Tuesday already, but that doesn’t matter. This is our beautiful First Lady.

    Melania Mondays!

  10. Anthony says:

    This is epic!

  11. DeniseVB says:

I stole this from the comments on Mike Huckabee’s blog, wow stuff !

    Fellow”so called feminists”

I worked with amazing, strong, compassionate, professional, badass women law enforcement officers in the NYPD for more than 20 years in the inner cities of NYC. Waging a war against the thugs and criminals that ravaged the hard working law abiding people in these communities.

I am not a “disgrace to women” because I don’t support the women’s march. I do not feel I am a “second class citizen” because I am a woman. I do not feel my voice is “not heard” because I am a woman. I do not feel I am not provided opportunities in this life or in America because I am a woman. I do not feel that I “don’t have control of my body or choices” because I am a woman. I do not feel like I am ” not respected or undermined” because I am a woman.
    I AM a woman.
I can make my own choices.
I can speak and be heard.
    I can VOTE.
I can work if I want.
    I control my body.
    I can defend myself.
    I can defend my family.
There is nothing stopping me to do anything in this world but MYSELF.
I do not blame my circumstances or problems on anything other than my own choices or even that sometimes in life, we don’t always get what we want. I take responsibility for myself.
I am a mother, a daughter, a wife, a sister, a friend. I am not held back in life but only by the walls I choose to not go over which is a personal choice.
    Quit blaming.
    Take responsibility.
If you want to speak, do so. But do not expect for me, a woman, to take you seriously wearing a pink va-jay-jay hat on your head and screaming profanities and bashing men.
If you have beliefs, and speak to me in a kind matter, I will listen. But do not expect for me to change my beliefs to suit yours. Respect goes both ways.
If you want to impress me, especially in regards to women, then speak on the real injustices and tragedies that affect women in foreign countries that do not have the opportunity or means to have their voices heard.
Saudi Arabia, women can’t drive, no rights and must always be covered.
China and India, infantcide of baby girls.
    Afghanistan, unequal education rights.
Democratic Republic of Congo, where rapes are brutal and women are left to die, or HIV infected and left to care for children alone.
Mali, where women can not escape the torture of genital mutilation.
Pakistan, in tribal areas where women are gang raped to pay for men’s crime.
Guatemala, the impoverished female underclass of Guatemala faces domestic violence, rape and the second-highest rate of HIV/AIDS after sub-Saharan Africa. An epidemic of gruesome unsolved murders has left hundreds of women dead, some of their bodies left with hate messages.
And that’s just a few examples.
So when women get together in AMERICA and whine they don’t have equal rights and march in their clean clothes, after eating a hearty breakfast, and it’s like a vacation away that they have paid for to get there…
This WOMAN does not support it.

We have spoken. Stop politicizing your agenda and do something for those communities. SERVE… Don’t talk the talk unless you walked the walk.
Thank you for providing sane leadership that this country finally has!

I don’t care how lavish a life the Obamas have in retirement from public office or how much money gets spent on it as long as it’s them and their wealthy friends and not the American taxpayer paying for it. The more time they spend golfing on tropical islands the less damage they can do. Eventually, the press will get bored chasing their limos, and in the meantime Trump can continue to do the job we elected him to do.

  14. Dora says:

    A familiar face is back.

  17. Trump is still POTUS

    funny Dutch spoof video

“The Netherlands welcomes Trump in his own words.”

    • AFVet says:

That’s an excellent article and possibly exactly what the administration is up to.
I think that Trump is far shrewder than people think he is.

  19. taw46 says:

The media can’t keep up. Winning!

  20. Dora says:

Can they do this? OMG, my blood pressure is rapidly rising

Senate Committee Indefinitely Delays Votes on Rick Perry, Ryan Zinke

A Senate committee on Monday night abruptly postponed its scheduled votes Tuesday on President Donald Trump’s nominations of Rick Perry and Ryan Zinke to lead the Energy and Interior departments.

The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee gave no explanation for the postponement, which it said was in effect “until further notice.”

    • AFVet says:

Maybe they feel that they need another session.
At some point, the committee chairman would have a say in it.

  21. Lulu says:

So the AF1 flight to CA was a fraud. An expensive (the furtherest and thus most expensive) fuck you to the taxpayer. How typical of these bait and switch, butthurt frauds. Enjoy Branson who is a climber like both of the Obamas. As soon as they start to slip he will not remember their names.

    • DeniseVB says:

I’m surprised they didn’t go to Hawaii, that would have been an even bigger middle finger.

I thought they bought a house in Palm Springs? They stayed with friends. Yeah, a cab ride to their new DC home would have made more sense. Or a quick hop to their Chicago home (who owns that anyhow?)

    • votermom says:

Indeed, in that regard, the Trump revolution’s mantra of “drain the swamp” is a sort of political RoundupTM strategy: The root causes of progressive hysteria must be addressed by fundamentally recalibrating approaches to the media, the universities, and immigration. It seems that Trump means to challenge the tactics that to date have fueled left-wing agendas that otherwise would not gain support from a majority of the public.

      Yes please.

  22. taw46 says:

    The looney left.

    • elliesmom says:

Children hold onto beliefs that come from their parents more strongly than what they learn at school. As a former science teacher I can attest to how hard it is to change a kid’s mind about creationism. They’ll listen to what a teacher says about evolution and maybe even regurgitate it on a test, but when they leave the classroom, they go back to believing what they were taught at home. (Ditto for stuff like why we have seasons, which is pretty easy to demonstrate, but most kids return to their private world.) Kids will believe what their parents believe about Russia and the election. Changing their minds in school one way or the other is pretty much an exercise in futility. Just one more thing to make it look like Crazifornia out there.

  23. DeniseVB says:

Movie buffs, the Oscar noms are in ! Once again, have not seen one of them (Boo! Madea Halloween was robbed! 😉 )

I’m sure the actors deserved their nominations, Oscars NOT so White this year 😀

    • votermom says:

Of those, I want to see Hacksaw Ridge, Arrival, and possibly Lion.

    • taw46 says:

This was the NYT headline: “Oscar Nominations 2017: 14 for ‘La La Land,’ and 6 for Black Actors”.

They make it sound like there is a movie named Black Actors. Lol, lol.

      • lateblum says:

So who’s the racist? When I see movies, I don’t go because of the color of the actors’ skin. Although I am certain some do. When I think about the performances of actors, I still don’t look at the color of their skin. Too bad the “paper of record” can’t say the same.
That said, I’ve seen several of the movies. I’m still trying to see “Hacksaw Ridge”, “Fences” and “Moonlight”.
To my great relief, “Elle” was not nominated for anything except Isabelle Huppert’s performance. She was superb. I am disappointed about some of the other nominations, but it won’t ruin my day.

    • Jadzia says:

Mahershala Ali! I have floved him since The 4400 (RIP), and he is excellent (and really sexy) in House of Cards.

  24. helenk3 says:

what was the purpose of the trip to Palm Springs California if they were going to turn around within a couple of days and go back across the country to a caribiean island? that does not even make good sense. The flew to Palm Springs, due to weather had to land at March field and drive back to Palm Springs. I am soooo confused

  25. helenk3 says:

so some sadsack who could not make out in a woman’s prison with a fist full of pardons is going to tell me why I voted for trump. I am sure it will really enlighten me

  26. taw46 says:

It is just depressing to read news from Europe anymore. This is something women (and men) should be screaming about. Silence.

    • Lulu says:

I read that the stores, with leases, just put a few things out because the shoplifting and swarms of smash and grabbers is so bad. It is a dump and dangerous to go there. It will close eventually. And since Swedes can’t go shopping they are internet ordering. If you internet order you can order outside of Sweden. Guess where the new orders are going? LL Bean and Carhartt! One reason is because the “refugees” don’t wear these clothes. Also orders to some UK clothing company I never heard of before that is very country estate casual.
