Is Milo an Advocate for Man/Boy Sex?

If this is for real then I want nothing to do with Milo Yiannopoulos. Ever.

Then on Sunday morning, less than one day after the controversial announcement about the CPAC speaker lineup, video surfaced of Yiannopoulos allegedly defending pedophilia in the past.

“We get hung up on this sort of child abuse stuff,” Yiannopoulos is heard saying in a video, acknowledging that he has a controversial point of view, “to the point where we are heavily policing consensual adults.”

“In the homosexual world, particularly, some of those relationships between younger boys and older men — the sort of ‘coming of age’ relationship — those relationships in which those older men help those young boys discover who they are and give them security and safety and provide them with love and a reliable, sort of rock, where they can’t speak to their parents,” he added.

“It sounds like molestation to me,” an unnamed person tells Yiannopoulos in reply, likely an interviewer. “It sounds like Catholic priest molestation to me.”

“But you know what? I’m grateful for Father Michael. I wouldn’t give nearly such good head if it wasn’t for him,” Yiannopoulos replied, using a euphemism for male oral sex.

That is a bit too far for my taste.
I don’t give a damn what his political views are anymore.

  2. CiscoKid says:

Off topic, but now ya’all have to suffer with me.i feel like Geo. Costanza when he thought he bought Jon Voits car.

  3. 49erDweet says:

    Agree. That’s a major problem.

  4. mothy67 says:

Yep too much for me as well.

  5. votermom says:

This doesn’t seem like something Milo would advocate, but if it’s true then he’s dead to me.

  6. CiscoKid says:

Well, I think , listening to Milo interview a couple of times, especially w/o the added subtitles(?)
he was talking about his own sexual awakening and experience’s.
But he failed in trying to explain a very complex issues, human sexuality, by trying to add humor to his experience’s.
Anyone try to slug thru Masters & Johnson when it was published?
I did until I realized it was way to complex, human sexuality that is, in all it various forms to really fully understand.
To me it’s like string theory, black holes, and expanding, and I just read, now contracting universe.
Dr. Ruth made it a little more understandable, so did Dr. Brother’s.
But I still don’t understand the “rusty trombone”.
    Just an option folks.
But Milo will get hammered, but muslim child brides are ignored.

  7. CiscoKid says:

OT: But I wasn’t kidding, now suffer with me.

  8. DandyTIger says:

After listening a couple of times, it sounds like Milo was a victim as a teenager and is joking about it all, but also struggling with what damage that may have caused vs. dealing with his sexual identity. Maybe a little Stockholm mixed in with bad humor and being provocative. I don’t get the feeling he’s advocating for pedophilia.

  9. swanspirit says:

I want to hear what he has to say about this, now. I don’t buy that ” some of these relationships are different in the gay world.”
No amount of abandonment justifies a sexual relationship. Just the opposite, that is when a child is most vulnerable and needs protection, not a predator.

  11. Venus says:

I like how they have a picture of a toddler with an old man.
    Good selling point.
    Doesn’t sound good for Milo.

    • lyn says:

Because I can’t play the video, did Milo have sex with an underage boy?

    • CiscoKid says:

No, it doesn’t, and I’m telling you, he’s going to get hammered on it.
By the time it’s runs thru the media gristmill of distortion, innuendo, smear and just plain old fashioned lying he’s , f’kd, and I’m not trying to be funny.
And I suppose we’ll take a beating too.

      • lyn says:

I look at the Twitter photos of the people who do the character assassinations, and they are not human.

      • lyn says:

        Milo has to sue.

      • mothy67 says:

I think his not naming those he saw in la la land with underage boys might be enough to sink him.

        • taw46 says:

Perhaps. Did you see what Denise posted up above? He outed 3 pedophiles in his career as a journalist. As he said, 3 more than his critics have.

          • taw46 says:

Excuse me. It was Lyn, not Denise. A reply from Milo with 3 links.

          • mothy67 says:

            Pedophilia vs Ephebophilia(attraction to teens)
Seeing twinks manhandled and saying or doing nothing is going to hurt him. He probably just saw dirty old men in a hot tub, but they will be able to twist his words. Even though that is, they say, common in Hollywood.

          • taw46 says:

Yes, Tim, you are probably right. He likes to say things to shock people. And as you say, if all he saw was old men, no one will believe him after what he said on that video.

      • Venus says:

I tend to think this is a case of him trying to explain something that happened to him and not doing a good job at it (it’s an obviously edited video) but in no way is it “advocating for pedophilia.” Of course, people are morons (see: 1539days)

  12. k says:

I believe Milo before any halfwit rumour mongers….

  13. Venus says:

In answer to the question of this post: Milo is NOT advocating for man/boy sex.
What he is talking about is shocking and distasteful (joking about his own molestation by a priest) but to characterize what he says as advocating for pedophilia is dishonest.

    • votermom says:

I think I’m ok with Milo’s explanation. Thanks Angie.
It’s terrible that he was abused, and if he deals with it through black humor, so what.
The fact that he’s exposed pedos – at least the abuse he suffered has turned him into a crusader.

      • blowme0bama says:

Yeah, I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

      • Venus says:

I agree. This is the same kind of “Pewdepie is a Nazi” b.s. hit job.
It’s 2 different parts of the interview mashed together — a part where he talks about “coming of age” (which means LEGAL age) cross-generational relationships in the gay community (‘young boys” are known as Twinks — they “date” older men, but they are 18, 19 years old, not 13) and the part where he is talking about human sexuality — going through puberty at 13 (the age he was molested) not being the same as being a *child* is typical rationalization of a victim of molestation (i.e., what happened to me wasn’t pedophilia). His crusade against pedophiles though belies his rationalization though.
Nonetheless, he is not advocating for man/boy sex. He is saying the Twink-older man relationships can be good for some (again, Twinks are young but legal).

  14. DeniseVB says:

Milo is on a tear now, updated his original post with more context.

    • DandyTIger says:

Good update. Point number 8 says it all. GOPe and related are why the GOP is a small tent party, and these kinds of efforts are why. Also good point in comments of: “at least we know what comes after ‘white supremacists'”

      • DeniseVB says:

I’m trying to keep an open mind. That Reagan Battalion thread is a nasty group I’ve never heard of before. They finally saw Milo’s update and still trashing him. Boogers.

  15. blowme0bama says:

    • votermom says:

Eff Jake Tapper. His wife thinks Comet Pizza is the best family restaurant ever. If they are not up to their necks i. weird shit I’ll eat my shoe.

  16. Venus says:

I went around some other sites — I think Milo is done.
The latent homophobia in the Republican party is rearing it’s head — they don’t know (or pretend not to know) about Twinks (as I wrote, young but legal) and the use of the word “boy” to describe them in the gay community. They insist “cross generational” = pedophilia.
On an upbeat note — see Denise, I told you he would be out of CPAC within 2 days!! LOL 🙂

    • mothy67 says:

I looked around too. Not looking good for him.

    • DandyTIger says:

So you can edit some audios and destroy someone’s life. Cool. Note to self, start collecting audios of certain politicians…

    • elliesmom says:

When I taught high school, I saw many 17 year old girls in relationships with 17 year old boys where there was a significant differential in power in favor of the boy. Because they were the same age, as long as he wasn’t beating on her, it was an “approved” relationship. One of my 17 year old female students was doing an internship at an animal hospital, and she fell head over heels for a veterinary student there and he for her. He was 22. The relationship was based on mutual interest, and he was supportive and willing to shape their social life to what was age appropriate for her. The ballgame instead of the club. When the faculty found out, they went into overdrive to have him censured at the hospital and at school. He agreed to stop seeing her until after she turned 18. I don’t know about him, but she was miserable. Today they share a veterinary practice, and until we moved, they were Ellie’s vets. He was the vet who got me through Samantha’s death. I don’t support adults having sex with children, but if we don’t freak out when teens have sex with each other, then we have to be willing to grant them the right of consent. Period. Either they are old enough to make their own decisions or they aren’t. There is no magic difference in age that’s suddenly not OK, and no guarantee a kid isn’t being taken advantage of by someone his or her own age.

      • Venus says:

I listened to longer version of the tape and I really do think that is the point Milo was getting at re: “the magic difference in age.”
As usual, you have great insight.
Thinking about this, I remember a story where a young black boy dating a white girl — they started dating he was 17 and she was 15 — he turned 18 before she turned 16 and the dad called the cops and had him arrested for statutory rape. He was convicted and is in jail. This happened in Utah, I believe. Anyway, a story like that happening, even once, gives me pause. (And of course I saw this on the news, so there could be more to the story). But common sense has to be used in these situations — this young kid’s life is ruined as a sex offender because for a time he was 3 years old than his under age girlfriend.

  17. jeffhas says:

I view the excerpts from ‘the interview’ as rationalization on Milo’s part – he participated willingly, he does not want to be the victim for making adult decisions even though he was not an adult.

You ever smoke cigarettes before you were of age? Did you ever smoke cigarettes with an adult around? – maybe your own parents? maybe they gave you the cigs? Maybe 20 years later you’re still smoking and liable to get lung cancer – who’s fault is that?…. Drink alcohol?, etc?,….. He’s viewing his sexual coming of age the same way. I’m just not hung up on this if he feels he wasn’t victimized. That was his risk, he took it, he gets to live with the consequences (good or bad), So does the other participant (Priest), if Milo did feel victimized and pressed charges, because big, bad, wolf-priest took a risk the Priest could be arrested, jailed, etc… Priest made adult decisions while he was an adult, so adult punishment is available to him if his young partner chooses to see the sutuation differently – all sorts of laws to protect the minor, as it should be.

I don’t hear Milo advocating for man/boy sex, and just because the people he had sex with were adults and he wasn’t doesn’t mean he has to out them if he doesn’t want to – especially if he is claiming no victimhood.

Now, regarding the ‘better head’ joke – that is just classic Milo…. “how can I shock everyone AND show I am not to be regarded as a victim”.

    • jeffhas says:

Oh, and by the way… even though I don’t care, CPAC will cancel his appearance…. for appearances sake.

  18. NewOrleans says:

Within minutes on Twitter, I see Jake Tapper, Ana Navarro, Joy Reid and Jonah Goldberg all going after Milo. Bigly.

The VeryFakeNews phone tree must’ve been alerted. And that can only mean one thing: total and complete bullshit meant to overwhelm.

    I’ll stick with Milo.

    • Venus says:

I agree. All the usual suspects are the ones in hysterics about this.
I admit the tapes sound shocking but seeing the coordinated attacks, I’m giving Milo the benefit of the doubt.

    • Lulu says:

His arteries in his head are hardening as he speaks. His family should intervene but then they would all disappear too since they make their living as relatives of a “prominent Republican Senator and war hero”. What’s next? The “media” records him hollering on a gurney.

  19. Dora says:

This is the next plan to get rid of Pres. Trump. It won’t work.

Progressives’ dangerous plan to use the 25th Amendment against Trump

The latest Progressive idea for destroying Donald Trump is rely on the 25th Amendment. That’s the one that authorizing removing a president from office because he “is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.” Because Progressives do not like the way in which Trump is governing (I beg to differ), they’re trying to conflate that dislike with his being constitutionally unfit to serve.

    • Lulu says:

More projection. Crazy people are very good at accusing other people of being crazy. There are various types of crazy. Being above average or even very intelligent is not crazy which is what they are accusing President Trump of being. Obama the mediocre dumbass was a genius but Trump a genius is a dumbass. Whatever.

  22. Lulu says:

I have never followed Milo. I admit I don’t really get his humor. But this accusation and subsequent pile on is very standard operating procedure for anyone who gets too “prominent” or is being noticed. Both progs and GOPe find him dangerous (especially the free speech stuff) because he doesn’t fit into a neat little box and he isn’t controllable. Again I don’t watch Mahler (I’m not that kind of crazy) but I suspect he was invited on so the pile on could commence and the carefully laid out ruination could begin. I find Mahler a disgusting apparatchik and pig. Anyone who works/worked for Bannon/Breitbart is a target. Bannon MUST be taken out and that means all of his associates, even tangential ones, get the rubber hose. New media will be under siege because old media is losing their business model, money, influence, power, etc. Melania is a street walker and Milo is a freak. Same old, same old. Lie and smear. And projection. Lots and lots of projection.

    • taw46 says:

I agree it is a pile on, some of the never Trumpers did not want him at CPAC. When they could not stop it by normal means, this video surfaced last night. And Twitter was brutal. And both the left and right used this to attack Trump (and Bannon, by way of Brietbart).

But Milo has a serious problem here, one I don’t know if he can overcome. Some reasonable people last night know that Milo is not a pedophile, by listening to that tape and reading his article from 2015. But those same people do not like what he said about post pubescent boys. And he himself did mention 13-14 yr old boys in that tape, when he was talking about older men having sex relations with sexually mature boys. I think I understand what he was saying, that like it or not, it is out there, not that he was in anyway advocating those relationships. Maybe he meant 18 yrs and older, but what people heard was “13 yrs old”.

I have listened and liked many interviews with Milo. There is no one better than him when he talks about the damage the left does, with PC, rabid feminism, and so much more. But he is over the top with so much he says, and I do think a lot of it is for shock value. People who have supported him for a long time get that and will still support him. The problem is, he gained thousands of new supporters after the way he was treated at Berkeley. These are the ones he will lose, this tape was just too much for them.

  23. Lulu says:

A couple of weeks ago I said the “protesters” were wearing themselves out. Most were not really protesters but just whiners who were virtue signalling their horror at President Trump actually becoming President Trump. The “protests” are fizzling out. A big drop off in the number of loons showing up is now leading Dem leadership to tell them to cool it. The media’s rush to portray every illegal alien being picked up for deportation as a international human rights violation backfired when the public cheered and their specific cases turned out to be narcos, gang bangers, multiple deportees with serious mental issues, and identity thieves who had been to court repeatedly for final adjudication of serious felonies. Mexico HAS to take them back. Dems and GOPe are finding that what gets them freaked out gets a big old yawn from the public who know it is all theater. They are burning rubber and going no where. It is wasted effort and they look unhinged.

    • Dora says:

I hope you are right because I’m getting damn sick of seeing them. Maybe we will know today whether or not they are getting tired of this game. Supposedly the agitators are going to tie up traffic in every major city during their ‘Not My President’ demonstrations.

A little aside here – I don’t know what they want Trump to do. Step down because they didn’t vote for him? I think they are all nuts!

  24. Dora says:

It will be a beautiful wall. With a beautiful door. 🙂

And THAT doesn’t include state and local expenditures from state and local taxpayers. The amounts of money are YUGE. And hidden and the open borderers want it to stay that way.

  25. DeniseVB says:

This is not about Milogate, but a good read for Milo fans and the journey on learning to love him. From “He said what? to Let him speak!” and why the establishment wants to shut him up. Bookie doesn’t slobber, she’s as critical as she is in awe of his brilliance. Enjoy the ride 🙂

I was at another conservative gathering when Trump was disinvited and it became national news because it was morally unacceptable (to the organizer) to have a crude misogynist (which gave the msm the proof and ammo they needed to bash DJT). At the time I was still on the fence, mostly a Walker-Cruz supporter, but that’s when I started making the turn towards the “light”. It was Aug 2015, the rest is history 🙂

As far as I know, I am way OT here; I haven’t had the time to read TCH this morning. I didn’t have time to read the paper except for a couple of things yesterday. One was a cry from a writer, Heidi Stevens, entitled “A plea to the Obamas: Help save Chicago“. In it Ms. Stevens begs bronco and his mare to return to the city that “embraced” him and now needs him to help Chicago “live up to” the city’s “promise”. Ms. Stevens writes as if the Obamas care about anything but themselves. (ha!) if I can find the link, I’ll be back to share it with you.

This morning I read the column by John Kass, my favorite Tribune writer. It made me laugh out loud and anyone who has seen the BIG movies of the year will know why. I thought I’d share it here….

  34. kanaughty says:

when I saw this coming from nevertrumpers, I thought immediately, this is an orchestrated hit job on milo, probably for cpac invite and also to try to drop book sales. from the left, it is probably because Nazi, anti-Semitic, racist didn’t work against him because of the facts, but also to justify their shutting down and protesting his speaking tour. it seems like whenever video is used as proof against those being hit, it is edited. I bet none of these people who are hitting against him have ever heard one of his whole speeches or his podcast, let alone read one of his articles critical of mohammed and his being a pedophile. it is a hit job and they are all scared about how much influence milo has and especially him as being from the so called so many victim classes on the left. like the book title and the title of his tour, he is dangerous, and a dangerous f. to them all, nevertrumpers and democrats. he is an influencer and so they think if they can bring him down in this way, he is over. I hope this will blow over and he keeps explaining himself. but at the same time, I feel like there is a specific person that is like j edgar hoover out there coordinating attacks on certain people who might sway middle voters to the right or toward populism. also, the fact that he is fighting for free speech on campuses, the left hates this.
