Bringing this up from the last thread — a 5 year old not seeing his BFF’s skin color is a problem. Can’t make this shit up:

If we adopt things from other cultures, it’s bad. If we don’t accept things from other cultures, we’re racist xenophobes. If we take note of someone’s skin color, we’re racist. If we work toward a “colorblind” society, we’re racist. But you know what? The vast majority of people of color get up in the morning, get the kids off to school, and get themselves off to work. They experience joy in their lives, and cry when they suffer a loss just like the rest of us. They’re a little wary of people who don’t look like they do, just like the rest of us, but they and we are willing to work on that. These little boys are a harbinger of things to come. The perpetually aggrieved don’t speak for people of color any more than the KKK speaks for the vast majority of the rest of us. White people have made the KKK irrelevant today, and the vast majority of people of color will make the perpetually aggrieved irrelevant, too. There’s a bridge too far, and it’s fast approaching. Rachel, Talcum, and Toure have already crossed it for most people of all colors.

This sums it up pretty well, from South Pacific “You’ve Got To Be Carefully Taught (racism, bigotry)”. Since this was written in the late 40’s, it still holds true today.

Welp, we all better get our shit together:

The lefty anti-Trumpers are so miserable. They should all just move to Cuba and make that country great again. Oh wait, they’ll be miserable anywhere.

    This is fucking awesome:

While I was teaching high school, I was also serving as a project adviser to some engineering students at a local college. Their project was to create a software package teachers could use in the classroom, which included a secure online grade book both parents and students could see. I entered an “F” for every kid and offered bonus points to the first kid in my “sweathog” class who could change his or her grade to an “A”. It took less than 24 hours. That class would have eaten this kind of challenge up.

LOL, love those 4chan pranksters. Much smarter than that weirdo Shia.

Watching Prison Break on Netflix. It’s kinda fun. Silly but fun. Feels like MaCGyver and 24 had a baby.

Years 1346 thru 1353 weren’t so hot either.
Black Plague/Death killed 72-200 million people in Eurasia and Europe.
Stalin killed a few million or so of his fellow comrades, Pol Pot the same.

Purple America Has All But Disappeared

Counties are increasingly super red or super blue, with less and less in between.

This happened in 2008 and 2010 and they are just now noticing. They didn’t care that governors, state legislatures and Congress turned red as long as they had the symbolism (and donor dollars plus federal taxpayer money being diverted into their pockets) of Broncobama. Now their symbolic/fantasy figurehead guy (and money) is gone too.

      • kanaughty says:

yep. the media didn’t take us pumas seriously. we had exposed or pulled back the curtain of what the democrats thought of their voters really with how they treated us. but the media ignored that we were red pilled. It only takes a few of us plus social media to begin to pull the curtain back on these nasty politicians and then it spreads like wild fire. and this is what happened here. but the media were ignorant of it since 2008 trying to make it a small thing when it really is a huge thing once you find out santa isn’t real, or there’s no such thing as the tooth fairy, or that your own parents are not perfect. this is how we finally saw the dems as bastards themselves towards us loyal dems who chose not their chosen one.

In case anyone was wondering what happened to these ladies.

    What a find!

    ==

Giant 3,000-year-old statue of Pharaoh Ramses II found buried in a Cairo slum is hailed as ‘one of the most important discoveries ever’

Researchers from Egypt and Germany found the bust of the statue and the lower part of the head

They also found upper part of a life-sized limestone statue of Pharaoh Seti II, Ramses II’s grandson

Discovery was made in the working class area of Matariya among unfinished buildings and mud roads

It shows the importance of the city of Heliopolis which was dedicated to worship of Ra – the sun god

I was talking with a friend who is still in prog camp. She lives in Baltimore and says she has to send her kids to private school. I asked her why it’s permissible that our schools are a mess. She makes it about Republicans. Will not see the downside to a classroom having to use a goggle app to translate into three languages. I think it’s insane. The fury is rising. My kid is not stupid but I have to supplement.
She spends 39,000 a year on school and she says that’s cheap. Yet somehow it’s evil Republicans. When is the last time R’s were in charge in Baltimore?

    • CiscoKid says:

Al Franken is against charter schools, but sends his kids to a $44,000 a year private school.

      • DeniseVB says:

As do most uppity Dem politicians, including the Obamas, who are against school choice. Funny, the sames ones who were against Betsy DeVos who’s pro Charter Schools, but sends her kids to private school. Derp, it’s why she wants every child to have that opportunity.

  12. taw46 says:

Poor kitty. But omg, I laughed so hard.
