    Ugh! Monday 😠

    • CiscoKid says:

Only thing making this Monday bearable is Gorsuch is sworn in and heads to the SCOTUS.

      • DeniseVB says:

The Rose Garden ceremony made me emotional, triggered those kind of tears that just well up in your eyes. PTrump shouldn’t be dealing with such a hostile Congress, I’m so happy for him too.

My Sergio fix for the day, this sums up the win nicely ….

  4. Dora says:

Bill Clinton seems to love talking about his grandchildren. 🙂

Former President Bill Clinton has been spending some time with former President George H. W. Bush and wife Barbara in Houston.

In a tweet on Sunday, Clinton said they “caught up about kids, grandkids, old times and new times. And socks.”

    • DeniseVB says:

“Grandchildren” has to be code for something, eh? Probably shaking down Poppy Bush like he did Lynch. He brought him socks too, is that the equivalent of a dead fish or horse’s head? 😛

Someone over at CTH posted this song and I can’t stop listening to it.

Showing my age, but I don’t give a damn.

The song brings back such wonderful memories.

  7. Venus says:

So there appears to be a certain faction of the alt right on Twitter in hysterics about WW3 starting in Syria. The ringleader is Cernovich with his “McMasters is a globalist who is working to send 150,000 ground troops to Syria” scoop.

I know he broke the Rice story because NYT and Bloomberg were sitting on it, but anyone who believes Congress is going to approve 150 fucking thousand ground troops to invade Syria even if Assad himself comes here and blows up the statue of liberty, I’ve got a bridges to sell you.

JFC 150,000 ground troops! LMFAO. People need to fucking THINK l

    • CiscoKid says:

      Where are they coming from?
Rent-an-Army? The US is stretched out pretty thin right now.

    • kanaughty says:

I love cernovich normally but he is being hysterical over this issue. What is going on. I find it hard to believe trump will be trumped by the deep state in starting a war with that many soldiers especially. Trump favors missile strikes and drones which you can do with isis since they collude together in camps. Why not get them in training camps where there are no innocent people because their sole mission is to train.

    • nerdle says:

I’m glad someone else noticed this. It isn’t just Twitter, it’s all over the alternative “media” and “news personalities” on YouTube, too. At first, I thought it was just young people saying the WW3 nonsense ironically, but now I’m not sure. Talking about the end of the world, nuclear war, a draft. It’s all cuckoo bananas.

    • lyn says:

Like Lola, my only worry was that Deep State took Trump hostage. Otherwise, it’s ho-hum. It is not the end of the world or the start of WW3. (If I’m wrong, I’ll buy everyone a beer.:

      • lyn says:

“Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton tried the half-assed approach to regime change, and while Libya itself is now a literal horror show, Barry and Hillary’s refugee crisis might have destroyed Europe forever. Yes, Muammar Gaddafi was a monster, but Libya was the cork stopping refugees from making their way to Europe, and that monster was keeping that cork firmly in place.”

    • DeniseVB says:

I call that crowd the White (and all other colors bitching right now) Nationalists, they want the wall built not waste money on bombs. Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham seem to be on the America First bandwagon too. Bill Mitchell is labeling them the #FakeBase 😀

Mitchell’s TL is great ! Don’t mess with Bill, LOL …..

      • Somebody says:

I don’t know that I’d call either of them white nationalists. I think the wall…..read border security, is issue number 1 for some people. I’d put Ann Coulter in that camp, Laura Ingraham not as much. I think the courts, pro-life, social issues are more important to her.

I don’t know what the hell bug is up Cernovich’s butt. There is no way in hell we’re going to send that number of troops into Syria for a variety of reasons. I think Cernovich is being played on this as a way to take away any credibility he gained from the Rice story.

        • lateblum says:

Somebody, can you share your thoughts with Cernovich? Are you on Twitter? Sometimes people get such a bug up their butt they can’t see what the fallout might be.
Your thoughts about this make more sense than anything I’ve heard/read.

    • CiscoKid says:

America was fed up and elected Trump.
The French are fed up, and imo will elect Le Pen.
All the Fench people have to do is look at their beloved Paris.
Will it ever be the same?

      • DeniseVB says:

Le Pen is the closest thing France will get to Trump (“f**k your hijab), I’m rooting for her. Now we need a “Trump” in Germany 😀 I liked Merkel until she went cuckoo bananas for “refugees”.

  8. Dora says:

If this can happen in a neighborhood like this, it can happen anywhere. That’s why this story is so frightening.

New Jersey: Islamic Society lawyers bullying and harassing citizens who spoke against mosque

A New Jersey suburb known for its tree-lined streets and stately, multimillion-dollar homes has been transformed into a battleground over both a proposed mosque and the free speech rights of residents who oppose the project.

    • taw46 says:

“Bullying and harassing” citizens is what they do. They use our laws against us, to get what they want. Sharia law – you will not speak out against Islam.

    • CiscoKid says:

Legalities aside, supeonas etc, I’d say a hearty GFY would be my response.
At some point in time one has to stand up to these fucks.
PS Gorsuch being sworn in at WH.gov.

    • jenlyntx says:

Dangerous. I think EVERY pro-America attorney in America should volunteer to PUSH BACK and OUT of the country this project and all who support it. Remember what happens when you do not stand up when they come for your neighbor no one is there to stand up for you. F..K Sharia law. F..K Allah. F..K muslim ‘religion’ that makes all religion look bad. I am sick to death of child rape, sexual slavery, abuse, and murder being promoted as religion and I am even sicker of the fact that Libtards and the MSM idgits promote the Muslim religion of Islam as ‘loving’ when the only love I see is that they appear to love people to death. The same Libtards and MSM that says Trump is anti-woman supports a religion that sheets women and sells them as slaves, rapes with impunity, and kills with their ‘god’s’ approval. WHAT THE F..K is wrong with this picture? Islam needs to be renamed what it is EVIL ATTACK ON DEMOCRACY WOMEN AND CHILDREN and fought the same way you fight a war. Until then we are doomed and many many more will die….

      • DeniseVB says:

Word. Sharia is not compatible with our Constitution. Period. F**K them indeed ! 🙂

        • jenlyntx says:

I think if we lived in a sane world the ENTIRE WORLD — at least all the decent people — would demand that Islam not be considered a religion. Why is it a religion? It is EVIL and the man that started it was totally evil. In my opinion if Islam is a religion than anything can be considered a religion–for example Nazism could be a religion. I think that the MSM worldwide should call for the END TO ISLAM in the name of all that is good. This is also why I know true feminism is dead because feminists worldwide should be demanding an end to this religion because when you break it down Islam is basically about killing, raping and enslaving women.

          • Constance says:

Progressivisim should be declared a religion when they meet to declare Islam not a religion.

Germany Finds 1,500 Cases of Child Marriages Among Refugees including 361 Girls Under the Age of 14

You’re going to just love the new Europe!

German officials found over 1,500 cases of child marriages among the the unvetted migrants they allowed into their country the past two years.

    • kanaughty says:

Hopefully they voided these marriages legally and separated the people. But if they don’t then germany is accepting under age marriage.

  12. DeniseVB says:

I’m going to wait for the rest of this story. Overbooked flights are common, and you can become very nicely rewarded to volunteer to get off, especially during this very peak flying season (Easter/Spring Break week). I’ve have never heard of police being called simply to free up a seat.

  13. Dora says:

I hope this idea stays on the left coast. I don’t want anybody living in my yard.

    • Ann says:

That looks horrible. Someone said she touched the cops shoulder prior to what is seen in the video. So body slamming her to the ground is an appropriate response? There are bodycams so maybe more to the story, but on the surface… yikes.

      • lyn says:

I read she slapped the cop. Yeah, the officer’s reaction is scary, but she needed to remember whom she slapped. I know I wouldn’t like to be body slammed, but then I wouldn’t hit a police officer.

        • Ann says:

I think it will come down to the bodycam (big difference between touch and slap, IMO). People will question why he didn’t spin her and cuff her (that was my first thought… he is trained and probably outweighs her by 150#s). Maybe she was so belligerent it was not possible, and this WAS the best response.

But the optics of this short video are horrible, in my opinion.

(If you put her name into a search engine, this “story” has made newspapers and TV reports around the whole world.)

          • taw46 says:

That is why they like to put out those short videos, to get everyone all stirred up. I like to wait for more information, see what happened prior to the videos. The police have already said they would release the bodycam after their investigation is complete. Maybe she deserved it, maybe not.

        • DeniseVB says:

You don’t “touch” a cop. Never. Ever.

          • jenlyntx says:

I side with cops ALWAYS. I deal with the public and I always have one by my side. People are OUTRAGEOUS and mean these days. Give the cop 100% percent of the doubt, get all sides, and 99.9% of the time the cop was 100% correct. And remember this people when there are no cops it will be you alone vs. Black LIves Matter. Don’t ever forget this….

          • 49erDweet says:

Don’t quickly approach or run at ’em, either.

          • DeniseVB says:

Recently, didn’t a snowflake tickle feather an officer, wouldn’t stop, then he pepper sprayed her? OMIGAWD, Police brutality dominated the newsies for days.

            So over it 😉

          • 49erDweet says:

If you hear of any WYSM citizen classes being offered in your area be sure to attend. You’d love ’em.

My response to #Resist is #Reflect.

    • DeniseVB says:

What I don’t get about #Resist, isn’t that what we did on Nov 8 ? Did the vile proggy left “appropriate” that? When I see that stupid hashtag I’ll respond with #Reflect now, great idea 🙂

    • DeniseVB says:

Just looking at photos like that triggers my vertigo. It’s worse now when I think about those poor souls on 9-11 who had to choose between jumping from 105 stories, dying by a jet fueled inferno or crushed slowly by tons of cement. I always thought that would be a better interrogation method for the Gitmo “Ahmeds” than waterboarding.

      • taw46 says:

I am the same Denise. I can’t look at photos of people standing on edges of buildings, mountains, etc, without thinking about 9/11.

His homeowners association can’t tell him he can’t fly the American flag. They can limit what size flag he can have, but flying the USA flag has been litigated. A homeowners association can keep you from flying a different flag…..sports team, confederate, etc., but they can’t stop you from flying the US flag.

A GOOD START: U.S. to deport 4,000 Somali Muslim freeloaders/jihadis back to Somalia

Somalia’s U.S. ambassador says his embassy has learned that U.S. immigration agents are planning to deport about 4,000 Somali nationals now living in the United States. “We learned through immigration sources that the total number of the Somalis that are in the books of [U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement] to be removed are close to 4,000,” Ahmed Isse Awad told VOA’s Somali service Saturday. “Most of them are not in detention centers.”

Doesn’t surprise me. There’s ALWAYS more to the story but why wait to find out? Go with the drama!!!!!!

    • Miranda says:

The fine print on the ticket says they can put you off the plane for overbooking. It sucks and it’s bad policy, but if the airplane workers tell you to get off the plane, then get off the plane. If he’d complied, I’m sure he would have been re-booked and probably not been home much later than he started. Yes, I’d be annoyed at being booted off the plane. No, I wouldn’t refuse to leave.
