He’s only had a full cabinet for 2 days, I bet we’ll see the train rolling full speed again soon. We’ve always had a crappy (party before country) Congress. The stupid media and The Resist! leaders (Obama and Hillary) aren’t helping.

It’s what the Trump family does 🙂 I remember after the election, Trump Towers provided a break room for the SS and NYPD stocked with lots of nom-noms, I saw photos, but doubt it was in our msm.

Fortunately, Hubby and I don’t have any kids of college age. If we did, I’m not sure what we would do. It’s bad out there.

I wonder if Melania is growing veggies in the WH garden, you know, the one Michelle dedicated to herself with a fancy plaque engraved to herself ?

      • taw46 says:

And had cement and steel installed in it before she left, so it would be harder to rip up once she was gone. Yeah, that garden.

I think he was trying to sound romantic, but his writing is sloppy and mushy. Just plain creepy.

The Macron affair: How the French presidential candidate’s parents discovered he was dating his teacher

The story has been told by Macron himself: “It was at secondary school, through drama, that I met Brigitte. It was surreptitiously that things happened and that I fell in love. Through an intellectual bond, which day after day became ever closer. Then emerged a lasting passion.”

does anyone else think how sad it is that our colleges have become jokes instead on institutions of higher learning?

    Great MAGA day.
Trump rally tonight and earlier today I listened to Vice-President Pence at the commissioning of the newest addition to the US Navy, the Virginia Class submarine, USS Indiana, SSN-789.

    • DeniseVB says:

Nope! The anti-Trumpers have been pulling this scam since Trump started his rallies back in ’15. It always failed, because those “tickets” are not limited, the ticket site will over “sell”, most Trump supporters know that and why you see lines wrapped around his venues hours before the event. Oh sure, some SJW’s may slip through, but SS is so much more intense now, any “civil disobedience” will not be tolerated in our President’s free speech zone!

I just watched Mr Roberts on TMC.
I forgot how great that movie was. The acting as amazing. Wish we had some movies today that are as good

    • lateblum says:

I know just what you mean. I watched “The Great Escape” the other night on MoviePlex. I just sat there after dinner and did not clean up until the movie ended.

    • Dora says:

Last weekend Hubby and I borrowed “Double Indemnity” from the library. I’ve always heard about it and I’ve seen clips, but never watched the entire movie. It was excellent! Well acted and suspenseful right up to the end.

They sure don’t make movies the way they used to.

      • helenk3 says:

why I love the TCM channel. They have the best of the old movies

        • lateblum says:

I wish i could get that channel. It’s considered a “premium” channel here and I can only get it if I subscribe to the most costly package. This is one of many reasons to have /use a library card.

Comcast in this area moved it to an upper tier a few years back. They ended up having to put is back in the starter package.

I watched About Mrs. Leslie with Shirley Booth and Robert Ryan last night. I had never seen it the whole way through – it does not play often. Soap opera done right. Shirley only made a few movies but each is a gem. My favorite is the Matchmaker with a pre-knife stabbing Tony Perkins and a very young Shirley MacLain.

Hulu has a criterion collection that has a lot of vintage movies. It’s , I think 9.99 without ads and they offer a free month. Almost all broadcast and many cable show the programs next day.
