I have a half of bottle of pinot gris, three beers and 11 dollars and change to anyone that will mow my lawn. It takes all of 5 minutes. I put it off.

    Somebody
Me family is in Nags Head. My neurotic dog is such a mess. She is actually behaving. Her relentless barking and getting into everything is her expressing joy. I wonder if in some ways your grandchild is doing the same. My little puke was abandoned at 9 months. There is NO replacement for mom. Kids sense it. You do what you can do. Baby mom did not call for Easter or Valentine’s Day but she left a voice mail yesterday telling pup she is having a sister. This will be her fourth child. They have no jobs. Disability. They are too young to have earned enough to collect much. No Christmas presents. She has never paid for anything.
A friend said I was too hard on Shay about her grades(her kids get C’s). Pup has a 900 dollar phone with unlimited data for 70. I do not have a phone. Her case enables her to take pictures underwater. It is contingent on her grades. She wants to get C’s okay by me. I will get her a flip phone. Her choice. Now of course if she had any learning disabilities I wouldn’t do that. I will get her help if needed but her phone is essentially allowance. I have no authority. I can’t get her to flush let alone a chore.
Anyhow I have contemplated your situation. What if you spent a day with her and no other kids. Go shopping, lunch, paper mache– but just with her. It’s not natural what our kids are going through. She might be very young but I feel she will get it.

That man made sick to my stomach and started my “woke” with Roger & Me. I think it was the 80’s. I was in college or soon after. It was all the buzz. I walked out wanting to beat the shit out of him. There was a woman with obvious issues selling rabbits. He used her, put her on film to manipulate. She had nothing to do with the auto industry. I was repulsed.

They are desperately searching for the next Oprah. Megyn ain’t gonna work. Shame SJW’s have proven effective with boycotts as I think the 4pm hour leading into local news( where most of money is made) could be filled well by Milo. I read that MK is doing a third hour of today. She’s too icy and too vain for ten a.m.

    • 49erDweet says:

So that’s MK’s big comeback? The Kardashians? I guess the cast of Bring Back Birdie wasn’t available?

“Oj is my father” chloe says. Now that would be blockbuster news.

I have completely lost my mind. I thought it was 8 am when I cut the grass. I have not seen a human being in three days. I suffer from dreadful insomnia. I slept for 16 hours. I just assumed I had awaken early. Put on tv and sunday morning show was on. I putzed around and mowed the lawn. Then it started getting dark. I have never slept 16 hours.

    • CiscoKid says:

I have bouts of insomnia too.
Friday and Saturday seemed to roll into one day.
Watched Trump rally and had some beer with a shooter of vodka or two or three or….
Fell asleep, woke up and looked at my cheap clock, no am or pm just the hour.
It showed 6:00, I thought, damn it’s 6 in the morning I’ve slept thru the night.
It’s been dark/cloudy with rain so I couldn’t make sense by light.
Turns out it’s 6 pm on Sunday. And now it’s 8:57 and I’m wide awake.
      💩!!

  9. mothy67 says:

I made meatloaf for the dogs. They are sad with pup on vacay and Klown had meatloaf overnight. I. Didn’t follow a recipe it was so good, much better than recipe.

When I was younger, I had a boyfriend who was younger, that kind of looked like that. He was sort of a blend of Johnny Depp and Michael J Fox. Girls and women swooned. He was the starving poet, deep, sensitive, thought he was the reincarnation of Rimbaud starving poet kind of guy. It was nice while it lasted, but starving gets old.

      • lateblum says:

This also means Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, Whosie Do from Comedy Central, SNL, etc will all be without their writers. Awww, too bad.

      • kanaughty says:

Tv’s pretty good, it’s the new golden age of tv with all the character driven original stuff out there. it’s movies that suck the last few years. All they have a kids movies, mostly animated, redos (which were great movies and they make suck), series of the same movies, or liberal agenda driven sob movies that i don’t sob at cause i see what they are doing.

        • kanaughty says:

So to me the writer’s strike hurts tv which is actually good right now the most. You can see the last writer’s strike affected badly shows like friday night lights and breaking bad. The writers strike season’s for those shows felt like the season didn’t end and we missed something important. For lost, they did it the smart way and just condensed the writing of the season and took out the two or three episodes. So they were not as affected. But also maybe their writing schedule was different from friday night lights and breaking bad cause maybe those two were more caught off guard with it. These writers strikes when it comes to tv also tends to boost the reality tv market because they are not affected and people’s reality shows still come on. Reality tv “writer’s” don’t want to brake the illusion that they are somewhat scripted too, so they continue on with those shows anyway. So bravo tv won’t really take a hit, but amc and primetime shows might if not reality. Although we are heading into summer so major shows are over. I am worried how this may affect better call saul cause that’s a show inam watching right now. If they actually stop airing it for the season or if they let it be since it’s already in the can.

Alabama House approves bill to protect historical monuments

MONTGOMERY, Ala. The Alabama House of Representatives passed a bill late last week that will make it significantly harder to remove historical monuments from government property. The so-called Alabama Memorial Preservation Act was approved by a vote of 72-29 after intense opposition from Democrats.

Agreed. It’s obvious the issue of fraud is prevalent in nearly every aspect of government. At least in the case of HUD, we know Dr. Carson is a man of high standards and integrity. If anyone can help bring that department to some semblance of legitimacy, it’s Dr. Carson.

I highly recommend Feud. Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon are fantastic in it. The costuming, makeup and hair are superb. And it’s actually the right amount of episodes. If you’ve ever seen any series by Ryan Murphy, typically the first 10ish episodes are great and then it just goes to shit.

      • mothy67 says:

The next season of American Horror Story is the 2016 election. I am over Murphy. You are right about how he droops as a story proceeds. Glee was fun bubblegum with just enough of a social message then it took a hard left and was unwatchable.

  31. mothy67 says:

HRC and the dims (sounds like a band) remind me of my nephew during custody. He had a bad day in court in which he was arguing he was fit. I think it was the day he told the judge it was okay to smoke pot because it was legal in Colorado. He went out got wasted and arrested and yep not his fault. He actually excused the behavior. It was our fault. There you go slugger that’s the way to show you are responsible.
Six months later no admission from dims about why hrc lost. Excuses, excuses. My nephew sits in a bar complaining to anyone who will listen that his baby was stolen. He gets in more trouble. He had to go to therapy. Refused. The dims can’t seem to take any responsibility. Calling people deplorable is after all a proven way of attracting voters.

You’re right on all counts here, mothy.

      • mothy67 says:

I was emailing my friend whose husband is gunning for Mosley’s job in Baltimore. They are begging feds for help with murder rate. I implored her to give Trump a shot. What they have is not working. Try something new. Sanctuary poverty stricken cities are inviting in what they cannot afford. Dims seem immensely capable of denying reality. I live outside Pittsburgh — very late to the game after an obama visit mayor declared it sanctuary. There are pockets of the city that are a disgrace. Many are black neighborhoods that never improve. Schools are crowded so let’s take on thousands with few economic chances. I don’t see it as humane. The poor kids are punished not the spawn of Phds in art. They feel warm and fuzzy for “caring” and as public city schools deteriorate all the more. they get to pretend their bland children are special. I see it everyday. Resources are being sapped up.
