  1. Ace:

Indeed. One question I keep asking — and which I encourage people to ask of these assholes — is this: “What specific crime, including what specific acts, are you accusing Trump of?”

Note that in Hillary’s case, critics were quite specific about what crimes she had committed: She violated the Espionage Act by transferring classified information to non-authorized users. She also set up this system precisely to avoid her FOIA obligations — repeatedly telling people there were no responsive documents, when she was deliberately not searching for such documents on the secret serve she knew they were on.

I don’t know if that last one is a crime, but I can definitely make that specific description of the bad conduct I’m alleging.

What similar specifics can these assholes offer re: Trump? They keep citing “contacts” — but it’s not a crime to have a “contact” with anybody. Literally, there is no person in the world, not even Osama bin Ladin’s Satan-raped ghost, that it’s illegal to have a “contact” with.

They also use the very vague word “collusion” to mask the fact they have no idea what Trump and Putin “colluded” about, or how. What quid pro quo are they alleging? How was this contract formed? Who negotiated this contract?

They have no idea, because they don’t even really believe such a thing happened.

If they really believed such things happened, they would specifically say “Trump Aide X, with Trump’s knowledge and permission, negotiated to trade American policy Y to Russia in exchange for Russian act Z.”

They don’t ever say that, because this is all bullshit. They just keep talking about the non-crime “contacts” and the deliberately vague, purposefully elusive word “collusion.”

  2. Ann says:

It is a sense of despair I am feeling, helplessness. What in the world can “the people” do? First, the IRS is weaponized against grassroots, now Congress and the msm are colluding to neuter a sitting president who has done nothing except try and appease the political establishment (fire their holdover asses at the top, then drain the swamp ala Ronnie Reagan and stop playing nice – and yes, I think President Trump has been too nice to date) while he is trying to fulfill his campaign promises to the people who elected him.

If these congress-critters come up for reelection in 2018 with someone primarying them, wouldn’t that already need to be in the works? It almost seems hopeless. I hope Trump really is wearing a Superman cape. We, all need him to be suited up.

    • swanspirit says:

I called my congressional representative today, and gave the person in the local office an earful about the statement he made regarding the special prosecutor. The statement was typical political double speak, Casper Milquetoast, and expressed some lame sentiment about hoping the prosecutor would do a good job.
I was so angry that he expressed no support for POTUS, and I let them know.
What if everyone who felt that way called their representatives? Show up at town halls and shout the damn communists down?
      I am up for it!

      • Ann says:

My Senators are Schumer and Gillibrand. 😦 Huh, Chuckie has only been around since 1999… why does it seem so much longer? (His staff does do good things for his constituents – I have never had anything to do with Gillibrand, and honestly? Hillary was useless in office… you’d think she could have hired better staff!!)

They are going after Chris Collins for some sort of ethics inquiry over investments (because he needs the money – you should see where he lives {insert eye roll}) – his district went almost 60% for Trump (35% Hillary), and he was an early Trump supporter.

Before I die I want to know who exactly is pulling the strings behind the last 16 years (and trying to continue it now).

    • Venus says:

This is the primary and campaign “Trump DOOMED” all over again, just substitute “Trump White House” for “Trump campaign.” As in “Trump campaign in chaos” “In fighting rocks Trump campaign” “Shake up coming in Trump campaign”
And now Trump has EVERYTHING the establishment/Dems/MSM swore he would not have and people are still listening to them? They failed to stop him when he was a candidate — they aren’t stopping him now that he is POTUS.
What can we do to the DC swamp? We elected Trump. The first major DC swamp head rolled with Comey –more are coming.
Meanwhile as the MSM sets it hair on fire over unsourced Russia rumors and 2 scoops of ice cream, Trump is rolling along with his agenda:
      border crossings down 70%
      MS-13 LA gang crippled
Useless and job killing EPA regs rolled back
Vets able to go to private docs when VA backlogged
      Coalmines re-opened
Companies investing in/bringing back manufacturing jobs
      Keystone pipeline approved
      China helping curtail North Korea
Arab allies paying to set up Sryian safe zones
Russia helping with Assad and ISIS
Trade deals being renegotiated to favor USA.
      Relationship with Israel repaired.
I don’t know how much more you want in first 4 months to not despair, but Trump looks like he is doing pretty damn great to me.

      • Ann says:

I understand what you are saying, Angie, and I know you are right. It just seems so … I don’t know… awful? ridiculous? I do not know the correct word, but it is wearing. I cannot say enough good things about President Trump, and I hope he remains healthy, diligent, and safe.

I did tell Hubby I would like to cancel the local rag. They buy their national stories from Washington Post and NYTimes, and I hate supporting that. If they gave equal weight to another point of view (as they did prior to President Trump’s election) from another source, I would not mind so much. As it is I am unwilling to cut my Amazon addiction, and I truly hate to aid Jeff Bezos more.

      • CiscoKid says:

        Absolutely agree Venus.
Plus President Trump speaking to the 2017 graduation class at the Coast Guard Academy noted that in the 3 weeks prior the Coast Guard had seized 26 metric tons of cocaine.
And the frosting is that 6 brand new heavy ice breakers are going to be built. First time in 40 years. ( Sorry global warmers )
Building the first one is starting.

      • gram krakka says:

Nice list. Don’t forget about SCOTUS appointment(s) and many other lifetime judicial appointments that will be some of Trump’s most enduring legacies. This alone makes voting for Trump worthwhile. I wake up everyday thankful that Trump is POTUS.

The Dem’s 2008 hard turn left into identity, tribal politics that Obama encouraged in order to get elected has been the catalyst that gave rise to the party of Trump. I think the coastal elites still fail to realize that the vast majority of this country is not an ethic minority. They should try driving 50 miles out from any urban area and mingle with the locals.

Trump tapped into the vast non-urban, fly-over deplorable’s longing for recognition and someone who would fight for their interests. Who else could have fought the Dems/media and broke the Clinton Machine, but Trump? Now if he can just keep from falling into an obstruction of justice trap set by the FBI and keep pushing congress for tax, EPA, Obamacare and other overregulation reforms and infrastructure spending the economy will have a higher growth rate and he will be reelected in 2020. MAGA!

        • Venus says:

I meant to put judges on top of list but forgot.

Don’t worry you have to actually commit a crime to be guilty — anonymous sources work fo CNN, WaPo and NYT, but not for courts.

          • gram krakka says:

Love you Angie. I’m sure you meant to include judges, especially since you are an attorney.

I’m concerned though that Trump’s stream of consciousness style of speaking and love of going off script leave him vulnerable to being accused of lying if he is questioned by an investigator. Or if Comey changes his story and now say Trump fired him because he wouldn’t agree to stop investigation of Flynn?

Recently I read that the only way to remove a President is through impeachment. A sitting President can not be charged criminally by the Feds or a state. Only the House and Senate have the power to impeach. If this is true, then as long as the Repubs control at least the house or senate, impeachment is not likely. However the Dems will continue to call for impeachment as a means to rally their base for the 2018 election cycle. We must keep and expand our Repub majorities. We really need to get 60 senators to get Trumps legislation passed. MAGA!

        • mothy67 says:

Sing it. I am deplorable. Such white trash I abhor myself.
I did the coastal elite shit. But then I dealt with a child. Priorties change.
So many of my friends live in a bubble. Way too much sex. I honestly believe my friends would be happy with a trans kid. They would be so cool. All the buzz at Quaker school. I get so much flack for genuinely caring about my crud. My friends kids are all medicated. Like hard core meds. They think my kid is spoiled. Okay a 900 phone is extreme, but I don’t pump her with pills. All my ivy league friends dope their kids. Pup goes to therapy. I’m not risking her health. Her mom threw a yuuuuge birthday party for her sister. Shay doesn’t get a card. Shrink lets her air. She can speak without judgement. I just bought monster an air conditioner. I am 50 I worked hard. I do not buy for me. Its a choice. I am happy paying for gymnastics not buying nikes. Shay gets more than most. Everyday is an activity. I never let her quit. She hated clarinet. I said too bad you finish out the year. She now plays sax. My rich friends let their kids quit things all the time. I think its a recipe for failure. Saint Sylvesters had a summer event. Kids ballet teacher said anyone could show up. Only Shay was there. She did not want to go on stage alone. I said thats fine but you tell Mary Ellen, her teacher, you are not performing. She got up by herself and danced alone. Yes I was in tears. She had a decision to make. She makes good decisions. I indulge. What is a 900 phone when she gets straight A’s. She is not natural she works.

        • kanaughty says:

i really don’t think the dems evaluated after 2008 election because obama won. i think they lost more pumas and democrats for mccain and/or palin then they ever thought or even we thought. they are so delusional they probably thought puma was a hoax and that ALL pumas came back and voted obama two elections in a row. but really that’s when the desertion of lifelong dems started including myself. not saying all pumas, but you all know there were a portion who didn’t go back and gladly voted for sarah palin and romney and now trump and will never even if hell freezes over go back to voting for these new moonbat obama democrats with their divisive global, pc, identity politics. and constant faux outrage.

          • helenk3 says:

me too. hell would freeze over before I would ever vote for a democrat again. They have disrespected this country over and over again and can not be trusted with this country

    • lyn says:

“I don’t care how wonderful Pence is (and I think he’s awesome). The reality is that, if the Democrats can bring Trump down, no Republican will ever again be allowed to occupy the White House. If Trump goes on the shoddy, fake grounds currently asserted, so goes our republic.”

I am probably the dimmest bulb in the candalabra. Yet I’m saying what Ace is saying. What awful thing has Trump done.
Deporting gang members. What DeBlasio wants safe haven for MI 13. How do they even live on Long Island? Rent starts at 2 grand. A starter home is 300,000. Baldwin is sketchy but still not cheap.

  5. CiscoKid says:

    Say folks.
When President Trump or any head of state meets the Pope, what is the protocol.?
A nod of the head? I certainly hope a bow isn’t required.
    The Queen?
I just hope he puts his hand out for a good Presidential handshake.

  6. mothy67 says:

I think the real deal with Trump is he is siphoning off groups that belonged to dims. I am a homo I voted for Sarah Palin in 2008 not MC Cain. I never liked him. Trump is larger than life. He appeals to gays. No one with an IQ over ten expects perfection. Hitlery had the father of a mass murderer behind her. Sorry even if it was a mistake it shows how flawed she is. How incompetent. The guys son killed dozens at Pulse. Imagine if he was behind Donald. I am 50. No way I would sue a florist or baker. I despise the women that went after florist. They had to find her. We have been here a long time. Years. My chump is more important than where I put my dick. She matters to me.
I see what is happening. Gays like Trump. Maybe not the individuals who feed at public trowel. They are no different than Al Sharpton.
I have been on this road since I was 13 confused and scared. I do not get LGBTQ. What does a transgender person have to do with me. Being gay doesn’t mean I want to switch genders. If anything I like my gender.
Milo is a force. I follow the gays for Trump. We are many. I would never have supported the other rethugs. Donald had Peter Thiel at convention. Richard Grendall tweets about Trump all the time. Melania was a super model. Gee I bet she never knew gheys. Come on. Fashion week could not be queerer. Dims are losing yuuuuuge part of base. Gays donate.

    • Constance says:

I think you are right. The Dems can’t stand that Trump is attractive to some of the identity groups they think they own. The more it becomes clear that Trump hasn’t stopped all abortions, confiscated birth control and annulled all same sex marriages the more rabid Dems are likely to become and they are already annoyingly rabid now. I think black communities could wind up loving Trump too if he frees them from gang violence and competition from illegal unskilled labor as well as giving them options to educate their children with school vouchers.

I used to think liberal meant freedom to be different, think other than group think. and open to ideas. In today’s world that is really not the case.

    • kanaughty says:

yep, i thought the same thing. but it turns out they are not matching their brand at all. i guess i should have started to notice this when they tried to ban the sale of what they thought was explicit music to people under 18. tipper gore’s crusade. that should have been up to the kids’ parents. my step dad had to buy me nirvana’s smells like teen spirit since i was 16-17 when it came out. that’s really when i started noticing they just wanted control and to be a nanny state. it turns out the liberals are the more puritanical people in america.

    • DeniseVB says:

I remember when liberals were gung ho for “Question Authority”, now it seems to be “Sit Down and Shut Up”. Thanks Obama, who was far worse and guiltier than anything they’re accusing PDJT of now.

    • Miranda says:

I did too. I was proud to be a liberal. Then 2008 happened and opened my eyes. I kept thinking “But you’re the good guys. Why are you doing this?”

        • mothy67 says:

Too much of a purist. I liked her during obama but she wants too much. I am happy with just Gorsuch. I hope Trump gets another but the court is safe. What monster would have hitlery appointed? I wonder if Sotermyer however you spell it has ever read the Constitution.

        • mothy67 says:

You make me smile. I love women with attitude. I suck.

        • DeniseVB says:

Ann’s so annoying these days, it’s what provocateurs do, but the wall thing is just stupid. They’re getting ready to award contracts after reviewing hundreds of bids that were submitted. It’s only been 4 months. It took two years to finish 3 miles of a parkway connector near me. Including those noise abatement walls. Imagine over 1900 miles of “wall”.

“Absolutely,” Waters responded, saying that proving collusion is necessary to remove the president from office. She added that she believes the Trump campaign developed its winning campaign strategy in coordination with the Russian government.

“I really do believe that much of what you saw coming out of Trump’s mouth was a play from [Russian President Vladimir] Putin’s playbook,” Waters said.

She said campaign rhetoric like chants of “lock her up,” targeted at Hillary Clinton, were “developed strategically with people from the Kremlin, with Putin.”

“So you think the Russian government developed the talking points for the Trump campaign?” Stein asked.

“I think that there was a cooperation in developing strategy about how they could ensure that Hillary Clinton was not elected,” Waters responded.”

She “believes”. No facts, no proof, no rational indications of anything. Just wish-casting and shit-talking. More and more progs are coming out and saying it doesn’t matter about proof but only beliefs which is irrational, delusional and indicates some kind of mental condition. There is also some brain washing going on which is directed at and more easily accomplished on stupid people.

Anyone up for a dessert that is 1000 calories a serving?
