The Last Kathy Griffin Post Ever

My earliest memory of Kathy Griffin was when she appeared on Seinfeld a couple times back in the 20th Century. I have always found her annoying, obnoxious and physically repugnant. She is not funny or witty. She’s an unfunny, half-wit troll.

If I live 1000 years and I never see or hear Kathy Griffin again it will be too soon.

Here’s a question posed by a co-worker — not a prog, but more of a NeverTrump guy. How can we expect Europe to work with us vis à vis North Korea, Iran, or any kind of trade deal, if we tell them to fuck off with the Paris accord? Maybe it makes no difference if they undermine sanctions on NK and Iran, and maybe we’re in a position to dictate trade terms. Still, it makes me wonder just how much leverage we can get on future dealings now that we’ve backed out of a deal that was made by a previous administration.

    • votermom says:

They should effing wonder if they can get any cooperation from Trump for their needs.

      • NBD says:

Yeah, but it’s not clear that Europe needs much from the US. Merkel, Macron, et. al. are pretty clearly prepared to go their own way, and if that means ignoring US efforts on Iran or NK, I don’t see that we’ve got any leverage with them. NK is no threat to Europe, nor is Iran. So it’s hard to see how European states would bother to line up with the US on those sorts of issues.

        • Venus says:

Lol EU doesn’t need much from US? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! They need US so we can keep picking up the tab for their social programs (which we do by paying for their security). But now because they’ve decided to let in all these refugees to supplement their work force due to their own declining childbirth rates, they need more US $ to support their social programs, hence this bullshit slush fund Obama agreed to with the Paris accord. Europe is only “alive” today because US taxpayers have been supporting it since WW2. But you see — Europe wants our $ but only if they can treat us badly and destroy our freedom and prosperity. That’s what idiot progs and dumbfuck young people like you who have no wordly experience don’t understand (and no JR year “abroad” doesn’t give you worldly experience). So you fall for Europe’s false bravado and snobbery against America because you don’t recognize it is based on resentment over the fact that their socialist bullshit couldn’t exist without our $ — and they sure as fuck don’t want to have to do an honest day’s work to support themselves.
          Read a fucking book, seriously.

          Go their own way ?
I guess that’s why they squealed like pigs when Trump pulled the plug on the Paris Accords.

        • Jadzia says:

My view, as a person who unfortunately has to call Macron her president, is that Macron and Merkel are talking big right now, mostly for domestic political reasons (Macron as a little-boy president who is trying to show the world that he is wearing big-boy pants, Merkel because she’s got an election coming up). That’s going to end right quick after the next major terrorist attack or, God forbid, once we start getting real civil uprisings in the banlieues (and the German and other countries’ equivalents) bolstered by Erdogan sending new floods of folks from the East. IMHO.

      • nerdle says:

This. The glue holding that Paris Accord together was the USA. I don’t care how this comes off, but I’m glad that we have someone as Commander in Chief that isn’t afraid to say ‘you need us more than we need you’.

    • mothy67 says:

We give billions. Lets hold people accountable. My tiny town got hit with people from Nepal. They all claim they had no plumbing. Why not. Where did a billion dollars go. I watched that film about Clinton Cash. Can’t we just provide clean water?

    • Explain to them that Obama failed to get the “accord” ratified by our Senate. They should have insisted that Obama enter into a formal treaty. But they didn’t.

Obama scammed them, but he’s gone now. His personal promises and assurances are not binding on the new administration.

    • Constance says:

There was no Paris deal. A treaty is a formal and binding agreement with the USA and a treaty needs to be approved by the Senate. If Obama cared about the climate agreement he should have submitted it to the Senate for approval because that is what you do to get a binding treaty.

      • Jadzia says:

Thank you! That part seemed like kind of a missing piece to me and I was having trouble figuring out why it was a decision that was up to Trump. Understanding now that it wasn’t an actual ratified treaty makes the whole thing make sense.

Shaypup got a letter of excellence from President Donald J Trump signed by Betsy and Melania. I hate this woman named Betsy not devos another betsy. Both her parents are Philly shrinks. She went on to be dean of child psychology at Stanford. I hate her. She is most limited person I have ever met. She is so like chelsea. Odd she went to Friends Select with Marc’s sister.

  4. dailypuma says:

The Seinfeld episode was one of the funniest ever specifically if one gets just how annoying she was in it. It wasn’t about her, it was about how much she annoyed Jerry by not following the simplest instructions.

    • DeniseVB says:

I remember those episodes. Unfortunately, Griffin played annoying annoyingly, not a stretch from her “comedy” in real life. I did watch her reality show for awhile, but mostly for her mom and the box wine jokes. She also had a RL relationship with billionaire Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, who appeared frequently. During my wasted liberal years, I thought she could be the next Joan Rivers. But she never had the heart Joan had, nobody was off limits with Joan. Kathy’s just an asshole attention whore like Lisa Bloom and her mommy-dearest.

  5. dailypuma says:

The second picture is not Kathy Griffin, you do know that, right?

    • DeniseVB says:

If she wanted to be a brave artist expressing her artistic (comedy?) genius, she would have held up the bloody head of Prophet Mohammad. Watching her Hollywood estate get shot up might have been fun 😉 #Bullying !

  6. Here’s my take on KC:

She obviously is not my cup of tequila. I don’t really care for annoying, foul-mouthed female comics. It doesn’t help that the market is saturated with them right now. The only thing worse than annoying, foul-mouthed female comics is overweight annoying, foul-mouthed female comics. Griffin is one of the other kind – the anorexic annoying, foul-mouthed female comic.

It doesn’t matter if they are skanks or pigs, they all mostly do jokes about sex, booze, drugs and bodily functions. IOW, they do the same juvenile male humor guys have been doing since junior high, they just throw a female spin on it. I’ll pass.

But that’s me. If someone else out there likes it, that’s all to the groovy. It’s a free country (allegedly).

  7. taw46 says:

Government watchdog Judicial Watch has found a number of new emails belonging to former Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton containing classified information and showing favors being done for a Russia connected organization through the Clinton Foundation while she was Secretary of State. The emails were obtained through a lawsuit against the Department and a recent court order.

What was Kathy Griffin thinking, to do what she did?
She was deep in TDS , and hatred for Republicans and the right; so sanctimonious and self-righteous in her virtue signaling,; so deluded in her protected bubble of invulnerability; that she thought what she did would be welcomed by the left with laughter, approval, and pats on the head. Pun intended.
Just like the Dims, who went into shock and denial when Hillary the delusional lost the election, she never dreamt there would be blowback, or if there was, that it would cost her a job and possibly her career.
She calls herself a d-lister, but she “knows” she is above all the little ignorant people who voted for Trump. The people who are killed or harmed by terrorism, aren’t real to her. They are just figures on TV.
I hope she never works again.

          • Mt.Laurel says:

Amy Carter was picked on quite a bit – she had the distinction of being the first younger child since the Kennedys and did not measure up. Many of the journalists made comments saying she appeared to be a bit dim – to put it politely. Poor girl was made fun of for still playing with dolls/doll houses even though she was only about nine at the time. Many comments of those who worked with the family mentioned that Amy and her mother were quite nice. Jimmy was the one that was — difficult.

    • 1539days says:

Homosexual behavior in men developed out of boredom.

      • elliesmom says:

Or maybe because men spent a lot of time in the company of each other and away from women? Like long hunting trips or being off at war?

There’s no evolutionary imperative for homosexuality. Survival of the fittest might favor an adult with no child to care for, but the trait would not get passed on to the next generation directly. It might continue to be passed on as a recessive gene, occasionally producing a homosexual child when both parents carry the gene as having it would cause nothing life threatening in its recessive state. It would be like people with blue eyes being eliminated from the gene pool, but not the brown-eyed parents who created them. Blue-eyed people would continue to be born, but in fewer numbers than we have. If the gene was sex-linked, then statistics would say there are lot more gay men than lesbian women because only a woman carrying the gene mating with a homosexual man could produce a lesbian. (A lesbian mating with a heterosexual man could produce a gay male child, but not a lesbian) While the jury is still out, scientists appear to have given up on the idea homosexuality is a simple matter of genetics.

If I had chosen homosexuality as a way to teach kids how punnett squares work, I probably would have been fired. I got in enough trouble over “male refrigerator blindness”. 😉

        • 1539days says:

In the recent past, gays got married and had children out of a sense of obligation. It still happens in places (Middle East) where being gay is a one stone ticket to death. If homosexuality were at all genetic, it would only phase out when gay people stopped having kids, either the regular way or in a test tube.

          • elliesmom says:

It wouldn’t phase out. A recessive gene that doesn’t cause death before a person has a chance to reproduce can hang around forever, and people carrying only one recessive gene for homosexuality would be straight. Some genetic disorders that used to cause death before a human reached maturity are now more prevalent because we’ve found ways to treat them, and the people who have them are having children.
We may reach a point where we alter the genes of people who are carriers, and then the genes would be eliminated. Something like Tay Sacs. We know how to test potential parents for the gene. If we could remove it from all carriers, it would go away. But even if we eliminated all of the blue-eyed people in the world, the next generation would still have blue-eyed people in it because a significant portion of brown-eyed people have a blue-eyed recessive gene. (Like me)
If we find a recessive gene for homosexuality, it will be interesting to see if science looks for a way to remove it. If a parent knew they were having a homosexual child, what would they do? We already know what they do to a fetus with a Down Syndrome gene.

        • 49erDweet says:

The science is settled that male refrigerator blindness is caused by the fact each item in a fridge is not in it’s on box, augmented by their realization that too many of the boxes are touching each other.

    • John Denney says:

It’s interesting that the Bible has no explicit proscription against lesbianism, only an observation in Romans 1 that some societies become so depraved that, “… even the women …”

Stuck in the Denver airport for 8 hours because of weather, I wandered into the news stand and noticed a magazine rack labeled, “Mens Interest”. The top two shelves were all skin mags like Playboy, Penthouse, Maxim . . ..
I wondered, “Hmmm, I wonder if there is a rack labeled, “Womens Interest”, looked around, and indeed there was. All the magazines on the top shelves contained some form of two words: “bride” and “wedding”.
Yes, there is a difference between men and women. Women tend to look for Mr. Right; men tend to look for Miss Right-Now.
Homosexual men might go to a bath house and have sex with multiple partners in an evening; homosexual women, not so much.
As a result, CDC stats show that homosexual men have off-the-charts rates of STDs; homosexual women, not so much.

How funny is this. I was walking up my hill. This woman yelled out from her house asking me to buy her a pint of vodka. She said she would give me her debit card. I do not know her. Liquor store was less than a block away. I went and bought her fifth told her to give it to St Judes.
Now I’m wondering how crazy she is. I am trapped in suburbia. I could use a good dose of mental illness. She only wanted a pint. So she is a failure as an alcoholic. She wanted Nikoli. She doesn’t look torn up.
I have a lot of fun. Most people are contained. My local pub treats me like a celebrity. I walk in and everyone screams Timmy from South Park. I constantly hear people on phone saying grabbing a beer with the f a g.
I was blown sideways through life. Great play by Claudia Shear. One woman show. She was the other Monica on Friends
Anyhow kid is suddenly a young women. I am bored. She does not need me every second. Hell if this mad woman is sitting alone drinking cheap vodka. I can help. Nothing shocks me. I went to The Vault and watched power players lick tranny pink thigh high boots.
I might be able to effect a woman drinking alone. Why not? She yelled from her tiny unlit home begging me to buy her booze. She was going to give me her debit card
What a joy to reach out. I only spoke with her briefly. I thought of Holly Golightly. No one should be so sad drinking alone in a dark apartment. I can rap on her door and say fuck off we are going out get up.

Last night, the town I am near began its 3-day festival and the main downtown streets were filled with townspeople and tourists alike. All in quite a celebratory mood. As we walked down the street, we saw a huuuge effigy of PDJT. People were taking turns hitting it with long wooden paddles and cheering. My sis said, “Oh look! It’s Trump!”, and began laughing along with the others around us. I said, “I’m surprised they didn’t invite Kathy Griffin to do the honors”. She became really quite angry when I said that and challenged me saying, “I really don’t know what’s the matter with you. This is very funny.” I responded by saying, “You wouldn’t have said that if people had done that to an effigy of Obama”. She got even angrier and asked me “why would anyone ever think to do that to Obama? And if they did, no one would have complained”. I then reminded her of the rodeo clown who only wore a mask into the ring and was fired from his job, investigated by the DOJ, and banned FOR LIFE from performing in rodeos. She denied the veracity of my story. When her husband verified what I had said, he agreed that if it was okay for Trump it should have been okay in obama’s case as well. He also said it was a first amendment issue and the rodeo clown should not have been treated the way he was. Sis was quite upset by what he had said. Especially since they both supported HRC and loathe PDJT.
Another townsperson said something to me later when the effigy and its “handlers” moved to another spot near where I was standing. She was a shopkeeper and said it was “hilarious”. I said there is nothing funny or amusing about entire communities “hating on” the POTUS this way. She was dumbfounded by my reply and shut up rather quickly. I spent not one penny in her shop and won’t. Maybe she’ll learn that not everyone follows the crowd when they are being stupid or hateful or mean spirited and she will lose money if she says stupid things.
Other than that, I’m having a wonderful time here. I’ll be home sometime Monday and I know I’ll be missing my sister, her husband, their dogs and cats and Vermont in general. AND I will have also topped off my trip by seeing Pink Martini. I’m reading you all on my rare alone moments. 💕💕💕

I think all the Boston SJWs moved to VT. Anyway, enjoy the beautiful scenery and towns. I always wanted to visit VT. My cousin and her dad visited years ago and said I would love it. We miss you, have fun!

Vermont is stunningly beautiful and full of stunningly stupid people. Especially, in the “Northern Kingdom”. It’s fun to visit there, but a few days is all I can take. I have friends who inherited a house there. They spend their summers there, but then escape to Ohio for the winter. Given the winter weather in Ohio. . . When we do go north in that direction, I love to visit King Arthur Flour and Cabot Cheese. I spend the most money at Simon Pearce. The glassware is beautiful and their restaurant topnotch both for food and for the view.

LOL, great trip report ! Sorry about sis, but it runs in my family too. Can. Not. Talk. Politics. At. All. What kind of “festival” beats a POTUS figure? Vermont is gorgeous, enjoy the rest of your stay and safe travels home!

Well it didn’t take long for the Germans to realize that America isn’t going to stand by and lose.

they think the dust up will pass. I am not too sure.

there has been the beginning of a sea change starting in 2016. The disrespect and plain ugliness of left has reached a tipping point. It no longer acceptable. There are some still clinging to it with both hands and feet but it will do no good.

‘Building the Wall,’ Which Imagines Life After Trump, to Close

How pathetic. They have no art. They have no humor. They’ve made themselves permanent victims, which turns out to not be very entertaining. Sad!

Premier may12 and opened may24. Does this mean, it didn’t run for a month?

It probably means they lost a boatload of money by not getting enough butts in their seats. Since there’s a new thread up right now, I’ll go dig in the theater stats to make sure it wasn’t Dictator Trump who ordered it shut down, and post it there 🙂

This is pathetic too. And pretty sick IMO!

So Mike Bloomberg is going to pay the U.S. share of the Paris thing? That’s a good thing, right ? He said he’s doing it as a private citizen, but does it still hold us to all those regulations? So confuzzled……

I haven’t seen the full numbers but isn’t $15m nothing to what the bill actually siphoned from the US taxpayers? And I don’t have a problem with this idea, let the left put their money where their mouth is for once without dragging the rest of us into it. If they want to burn their money, I won’t stop them.

      • DeniseVB says:

I misread it thinking that was cost of the U.S. share. I’m all for letting wealthy people share their money, I thank PDJT for letting me keep mine. 🙂
