What did Comey Show Me?

What does this strapping 6’8″ former head of the FBI and Trigglypuff have in common?

They both show a tremendous amount of fragility when they’re triggered by perceived microagressions .  Sounds like a good idea that this #NutJob got his crazy ass canned…

I watched a (recorded) version of Comey’s testimony.  It was clear, concise, and left no room for ambiguity regarding his character, actions, intent and identity as a savvy political animal that is capable of chewing up and spitting out anyone who dares challenge him.  This time around, it seems like Comey bit off more than he could chew, because he totally choked on President Trump.

Many other haters have tried to chew Trump up and spit him out.  They also choked.  Here’s a good example of that:

LONG HISTORY WITH CLINTONS – From 1996 to 2001, Comey served as Managing Assistant U.S. Attorney in charge of the Richmond Division of the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.[30] In 1996, Comey acted as deputy special counsel to the Senate Whitewater Committee.

Despite his long and profitable association with the Clintons (and Clemency), he somehow managed to bungle his latest attempt to keep America on the road to socialism.  I found myself asking why President Trump kept him on in the first place.  The only conclusion I could come to is that it was a trap to catch the leaker of leakers.  It worked. Comey outed himself while President Trump nominated almost a dozen conservative judges to influential circuit courts.

Other things I’ve learned about the former head of the FBI:

  • He’s a total pussy – he actually woke up in the middle of the night because he was so “un-nerved” by President Trump saying he hoped he could put the Flynn/Russia matter to rest as soon as possible
  • He is so afraid of “Operation Drain the Swamp” that he tried to justify his role as the orchestrator of leaks released to the MSM, which would put anyone else in front of a judge and behind bars
  • He has a delicate stomach (lmao) – talking with Trump made him “queasy”
  • He’s a “Master of Disguise”, as proven by his trying to blend in with the drapes in the Oval Office during a recent photo op with President Trump
  • He should’ve been canned a long time ago

I don’t believe that he could possibly be this stupid. He must really hate Lynch. She grabbed him once too many times.

      • lateblum says:

OTOH, throwing Lynch under the bus could, he might hope, distract from his own actions and perhaps redeem him.
That said, he is a weasel and has been a grandstanding weasel from day one.

    TY Anthony!! ❤

  3. AFVet says:

    Great summary on Comey.
I think he woke up at night because it dawned on him that he was standing in front of a wood chipper with the smiling Trump at the controls.

Just look at what Trump has exposed in the short time he has been in office.
We all knew it was out there.

Mueller is a bad choice for special prosecutor.
He is neither independent nor unbiased IMO.
They should get some good ‘ol boy from fly-over country to go in there and “git er done.
The time has come to kick ass and take names.

  4. jenlyn says:

No he’s a dick there’s no part of Comey that is any part of me period. He is scared of his own shadow, psychologically disturbed, intellectually challenged narcissist. In other words he’s Obama’s mini me. Whoever hired him to begin with and then promoted him should be held liable for treason against this country this man is not fit to clean the porta potties at the White House much less be a part of the FBI CIA or any governmental agency. This is a embarrassment for the country of the United States of America that’s what this is. Oh and thank God Donald Trump is the president of the United States of America.

Love Gutfeld ! Now if they’d only give him his own show against the Late Night “comedy” haters, I’ll be in heaven. He’s Frilliant !

Comey, The Weasel, also prosecuted Martha Stewart for a personal insider trading “tip”. This is legal now for Congress reps. Who knew?

    • AFVet says:

Congress got caught with their hand in the cookie jar on insider trading.
They passed a bill to eliminate it and then turned around and repealed that bill.
I guess it’s OK now for them to do it but not us.

Oh sweet Jeebus, that clown was covering the Va Beach Trump rally last October. After the rally, he stood in front of the CNN Sucks protesters and whined “see they hate me for doing my job”. It was so staged to make him look like a new martyr or something. Here’s the drama…….

      • lateblum says:

As we have seen, CNN stages many things and call them “news”. Didn’t we just see via Katie Hopkins that protests shot by CNN were just as contrived as “Hamilton”?

Amazon is really good with customer service. Turds hoverboard stopped charging. I called they would pick it up tomorrow. Like I can mail a 20 Lb skateboard. I can go to ups myself they will give credit. They do pickups for returns but has to be properly enclosed. I cannot mail a hoverboard. I don’t get cash back but I get Amazon Gift credit. They will not replace. I just get full refund. My tyke loves it. I typed in 5 stars prime. I got a much better reviewed for 200 less. Kidd loves it. I am trying to learn. I don’t fall but I run into everything. I think it would be so fun to zoom around with my baby girl. Especially now that at 10 she believes she is 16
Most of you here or at least many have raised daughters. I can’t keep up. She still talks to me. I guess I should be grateful. Some of her friends have shut out parents. I would have felt special had madonna not offered blow jobs.
That’s always fun ignoring kids asking you about oral sex. One mom thought it was funny. It could be but I could also go to jail if I talked to them about it.

Pups mom is due soon with her fifth. I asked crud if maybe she might want to live in a normal setting. She said I’m a spoiled brat why would I want to leave. Dat’s my girl.

Sidebar: WTH is this? After a successful install, up or download, can never remember which, on a new laptop, my twitter won’t play videos and FB is sending me creepy messages like:

I can still see and share youtube videos.

I hate, hate, HATE being tech challenged, I feel like a special needs kid without the drool (no offense my Special Greg).

    • lateblum says:

I’m with you DVB. Stuff like that drives me CRAZY. Plus, my kids continue to scoff at my inadequacies r/t the reach life. And in many situations, it ends up being Not.My.Fault. and the service provider had messed up. (I’m looking at you comcast and AT&T.) That said, I hate being so tech illiterate. I won’t buy a new anything… At least for some time.

    • I have noticed lately that certain sites I frequent are acting bizarre, sending me error notices like that. Also, lately when I go to youtube and I want to watch certain video topics the video suggestion list on the right throws up videos such as Celebrity homes or some topic I have never been on and would never search for in a million years. Quite frankly, I believe it is all a conspiracy to keep people from finding out the truth about things.

I don’t know if you know about the black Trump supporter, I think his name is John Davis, but he posts funny videos about Trump. The other day I searched up his name and found one result for him in the search. When I clicked on his video, instead of showing all of his video results on the right like they usually do, a whole list of a totally unrelated topics popped up as a suggestion to watch next. Again, only one other video of his popped up. I clicked on it and finally all of his videos popped up. The last time I searched for Donald Trump on youtube, every video that popped up was negative towards him. I had to keep searching and trying other search words just to get videos that were positive.

I am convinced that it is all in order to advance the left’s agenda and a form of censorship.

    • AFVet says:

Are you sure your twitter profile/settings weren’t hacked?

      • Did she change or was she always like that?

        • elliesmom says:

I think Hillary has always been all about Hillary. Any good she’s done for anyone else is a by-product of doing something to promote herself. That being said, I think her loss to Obama in 2008 sent her into a tailspin. She had skirted the law before that many times but at least tried to cover her tracks. After 2008 she didn’t even bother to make an effort. But no matter how much money she and Bill have scammed, it’s not going to make up for her not becoming POTUS. She’s going to die a bitter old woman.

        • Anthony says:

Hard to tell – her most current identity (“She-wolf of the Resistance”🇹🇷) is a real hoot. Even though it cracks me up, it gives serious pause to wonder if there is any dominant personality in control or if she’s really a cyborg who is routinely reprogrammed when algorithms demand recalibration

  16. Agreed, he should have been fired last year. But, I believe Obama knew exactly what he was doing when he left him at that position. What a chance for the MSM to pounce on Trump for firing him.

    • AFVet says:

They were convinced Hillary was going to win.
Just look at the corruption that has been exposed so far.
If she’d have won, no telling where we would have ended up.

  24. Meanwhile, in a galaxy far, far away:

I’m no professional but I’ve had a lot of personal experience dealing with people who are on the narcissism spectrum. I’m beginning to know a narcissist when I see one or when I detect one delivering their special brand of attention by proxy.
Not everyone who exhibits narcissistic tendencies has full blown narcissistic personality disorder or NPD. It’s a spectrum disorder. In fact, it’s not a bad thing for us to have some degree of self love or mean people will take advantage of our selflessness. And it’s not uncommon for people who are living with narcissists and who are having their own issues to display some narcissistic tendencies. They usually subside when the crisis resolves itself. You can tell a narcissist from a codependent by how much guilt and contrition they feel when they hurt someone else. Narcissists with NPD don’t give a fuck. They can fake it for awhile but it never lasts.
Donald Trump has NPD. There’s really no question about that. Is there anyone here who doesn’t understand what I’m talking about? Don’t be shy, raise your hands. He’s the overt type. Bernie Sanders looks like he may be skirting close to the edge of NPD as well but let’s put him aside for now.
Given what we know about Trump and his severe character problems, what can we understand about the people who follow him? I’ve wondered this for awhile. I think we have got it wrong about them being too stupid for their own good. No, if you’ve ever had an interaction with a Bush supporter or a Trumpster and they’ve reveled in your distress and told you to deal with it because their side won, then you know that there’s something else at work here.

So, what he’s saying is the reason why Trumpsters will follow him no matter what is because they identify with him. They don’t have the visceral negative reaction to his behavior the way you do. They see nothing wrong with him disrespecting women, poor people, the disabled, the sick, Muslims, etc. WE feel pain, they do not.
Trump is a pig and he attracts piggish people. They don’t feel empathy the way we do. They want to win. They like control. And for the conformist, conventional person who has always colored inside the lines, Trump and Pence validate their lifestyles, make them feel virtuous and special, and give them the control over others they always wanted. Trump and Pence make their narrow minded, judgemental meanness acceptable.
If you’re living with one of these people, you’re going to get dirty. It’s not in your nature but it can make you feel out of place if you’re surrounded by them. To stay in their good graces, you may have to jettison some of your own values or become apathetic. Of course, everyone has choices…
It’s pointless to defend ourselves. They like controlling the vertical and horizontal and pissing us off and causing us distress. It’s what they live for. They’re absolutely delighted with our anger. We can’t win this argument because they DID win. The only thing we can do is disengage. We can observe them but not get down in the mud with them. As long as they’re in control, they’ll follow Trump to the ends of the earth. There’s nothing he can do that will turn them away.
The allies had to fire bomb Dresden and invade and subdue Berlin before Germans gave up in WWII. They need to be completely conquered before they give up and they’re going to be nasty, difficult and personal before they surrender and go away. Expect this and don’t let it get to you.
We need to accept their character disorder and stop trying to figure out how to appeal and placate them. Sure, there were people who Trump deceived. Those people are drifting back over to our side. It is the hard core narcissists who remain firmly in his corner. They’re in every branch of government and they’re quickly solidifying their hold on power. We are going to have to work extra hard next year to get at least one chamber of the legislative branch back. It’s going to be a difficult and very expensive struggle. But we don’t have a choice.
If you’ve been watching the Handmaid’s Tale, you’ll get an idea of what we’re up against in the latest episode called The Bridge where Offred attempts to talk another Handmaid off a bridge because she sees nothing but despair for the foreseeable future, surrounded by Pence-esque covert narcissists in religious clothing. Offred tells her it won’t last. Someday, Gilead will be over and they’ll go dancing and drinking and singing karaoke.
And that’s all true. This phase of our history won’t last, especially if we are determined to overthrow the people who took over our government by aggressive and uncompromising measures. We didn’t put up enough of a fight. We were too nice and believed it couldn’t happen to us, underestimating the people with character disorders who were determined to stop at nothing to take control.
But we can get our country back if we don’t let them rattle us and concentrate on the task at hand.
We can set it right again. The bad thing is that once we do, we’ll know who those people are. They’ll still walk among us and we’ll never be able to let our guard down again because they don’t give a fuck about anyone but themselves.

      • Constance says:

Well Gov Brown was referred to as “Moonbeam” the first time he was CAs Governor. But CA still keeps electing him. I think the thing the Feds could do to help is investigate who is voting in Califorinia and clean up the voter registration to be sure it is only citizens. If you combine this with efforts to get out the legal vote I don’t see how any Citizen could object.

    • AFVet says:

      Easy, they’ll raise taxes.

      • Constance says:

Dems are the raise taxes/import unregulated labor to compete with heavily regulated Citizen labor, party. In Seattle the Republicans don’t even run candidates or try to make their case. So you have Dems chronically pissed off about rising rents and cost of living While seemingly completely oblivious to the fact that increasing taxes of all kinds raises rents and cost of living. Now they are talking about rent control and they have already passed a law that you have to rent to the first person who wants the place and take the damage deposit in installments over the first year. Watch all the rental units dry up. I used to rent a studio apartment out but I’ve turned it into an Airbnb and now make 2.5 times the profit and the costs went way down. Here are my criteria for utilizing my studio apartment asset….. maximize profit while minimizing pain in the ass, so the Airbnb will continue.
Seattle Dems just passed a “sugar tax” on soft drinks (which poor people drink) but didn’t apply it to Starbucks type drinks which wealthier people choose. Meanwhile they piss and moan about regressive tax system in WA state. I find the stupidity of Seattle Dems stunning.

Not to mention, that unlike HillBill and the crazy progs of today, Jimmy and Rosalynn behaved like adults after he lost to Regan. Regardless of how he may have acted out in private – he held it together for the most part in public. There have been occasional forays into the public eye with his rather interesting views but they have been sporadic. Not enough to loose him the goodwill he gained by presenting himself as someone who could practice what he preached to some extent with his Habitat work. So now he gets to coast and appears to be enjoying himself.

I can’t tell you who/what was nominated much less who/what won. 😦

    • DeniseVB says:

I couldn’t watch at all. It used to be the only awards show I really looked forward to, now it’s just a celebrity political dump. I knew Bette would win, from what I hear she did get political and go the musical send off, but she shouted over it ?

Also, since Hamilton’s VP Pence rant, then give the Obamas and Clintons standing ovations and backstage hugs. Geeesh, they just don’t realize whose supporters that can actually afford their tickets !!

Before the play started, the announcer stated that the woman scheduled to play the part of Ruth was currently undergoing emergency surgery, so her part would be played by the director, a guy.

Script in hand, he played Ruth as having a hesitant, nearly stuttering, personality who sometimes flared up dramatically.

At the final bows, he got the biggest applause, which redoubled when he doffed his wig to reveal a bald head.

          The show must go on!

BTW, I wondered if anyone was going to say anything about Lynch “suggesting” that the HRC investigation be renamed / downgraded to a “matter” from an “investigation”. It appears that Senator Feinstein took notice – at least for now.

    • blowme0bama says:

I suspect there was more revealed in the closed hearing with Comey which followed the public one.

    • Jeffhas says:

of course Feinstein wants a separate investigation….

Feinstein is a Big Time HRC supporter… this is all a ruse to cover HRC’s tracks – nothing to see here, move along….

      • lateblum says:

I hope they do investigate Lynch, and Holder, and then look at all the unmasking that went on. Maybe then we’ll learn why Chief Justice Roberts upheld Obamacare. And why others voted the way they did.
And I want them to investigate HRC and Podesta, too. But I don’t think they will.

The Comey the Nut-job Show has a “Look squirrel, watch the hand, now this hand, lookee!” quality about it that I’m enjoying. Really major stuff is creeping through Congress, talks of working through August recess as a threat to get their asses in gear (and no elections this year), and the media and Dems are just Russia, Russia, Russia-ing still. It is like watching a news video of a fender bender with a school bus (the kids are crying and the bus driver is drunk) while the house in the background is being bull-dozed and the dozier operator is waving and hollering Yahoo!!.

If you are willing to fall a few times I highly recommend a hover board. I am having so much fun with the kid.
It took me a few days. I never fell off but I ran into everything. It’s summer and it can be hard to fill long days. I live close to city so you don’t say run out and play.
They are not cheap, but nothing is. I took 4 kids mini golf with food almost 100 for an hour. Pup and I go to a state park (local doesn’t permit) and we zoom around until batteries die.
For me its a godsend. She is getting older. Craft Tuesday’s are not thrilling. Paper mache is not what it was. All these years I am not going to let her slide away. She has to know she is always connected. My job. 12 weeks she starts middle school. I am terrified. She’s going to start making her own decisions. A 12 year old girl a few blocks away od’d. Dead with a needle in her arm at 12. She was not a poor kid. Two years ago she was on all stars with brat. She stopped all sports and went rebel. The signs were there. Kids that are as young as my imp are highly exposed to a lot. So much info so young. I thought about and used parental controls. Thing is you can’t control other people’s kids. I would rather shay be open with me but I just assume from now til forever I am afraid. Hover board on Sunday’s might make a difference.

Let her know that she can always come to you. Maybe there will be a dedicated teacher that she’ll be able to talk to, as well. I know my son has always had lots of his students confide in him and turn to him for support. (He says that’s the most important part of his job.)
Have a great summer with Shay.

      Also, what swannie said.

My brother is finishing a second round of tests at US Steel. As long as his urine is clean he has a job.
He is a boiler maker. Pays up to 100/hr when there is work. Thing is its not reliable and his wife loves to buy gifts. Oh can she spend.
His daughter is will be a senior. He can go 9 months without a job. Hard to save.
The day my President won I started hounding my bro about the mills. Clairton Works is the second largest coke plant in the world. I practically had to beat him up to get him to apply. I know my bro. He was scared for his kid. There was not a lot of hope. He has a useless degree from art school. Talented but he is cardhart not ad agency material. Which is funny I am 9 years older he was captain of a very sad all white football team under hero in yearbook he wrote my gay brother. People look at him and think muscle head. He’s a Buddhist.
I literally hounded him about applying starting Nov 9. It takes months to get that kind of job. I begged him. I said things are going to change. They had him come in at 6a.m.. I have been told its formality. A piss test.
Had he waited until mill published jobs he’d have been one of thousands. Trump yelled he was going to use US made steel. I will be verklempt, I am already breathless. My hometown is coming back to life. She had the shit kicked out of her. Obit had been written.

I’m done for the morning. It’s already above 80 degs and going to 95. I need to get those portable ACs in before it becomes too unbearable (there’s no shade anywhere along the entire southern exposure of my apartment) and I become vulnerable to heat/sun stroke.

Stay hydrated, water, not juice or soft drinks.

    • mcnorman says:

Take a bandanna and wet it…place it in the freezer. Wear it. Keep a spare in the freezer. I live in 100+ temps which can last as long as 3 months straight. This is one way to keep cool. The other is leave a mister in the fridge. The best is showering under cool water but we can’t do that all the time.

      • lateblum says:

        great tips! Thanks McN.

      • helenk3 says:

also if you have lemons, slice them freeze them and use like ice cubes. lemon water is more cooling and thirst quenching that just plain water.

      • Mt.Laurel says:

If you have any of those freezer packs for coolers, you can place one on a plate (to catch the condensation) and set it in front of a fan. In lieu of a freezer pack, a bag of ice cubes will do the trick but it is best to put it in bowl/container – or as it melts it looses its shape. Also is more likely to create a mess if pets/kids decide it looks like a fun new toy.

        • lateblum says:

What a great idea. I can do that when I go to bed tonight. I don’t like sleeping with an AC on. I remember many years ago, there were stories about ppl who went to bed with their old AC on, and died because of toxic gases released from the AC that needed recharging or something. (They probably needed to be refurbished or junked.)
          Thanks so much!

    • swanspirit says:

Stay cool Leslie! Run cold water over your wrists, take quick cool showers, if you start to feel over heated, as often as you like, don’t be too active, definitely do the neck scarf in the freezer thing, keep your hair damp, and drink lots of icewater. Sending cool thoughts!!!

      • lateblum says:

Such good suggestions. I think the heat rots my brain and then I can’t think of these simple tricks. In fact, this afternoon, I had to tell myself to stop working on the ACs and drink. I ran out of ice, and finally went to the store. All the grocery stores nearby were sold out of ice! There are three in walking distance. 😟 Of course, I didn’t walk. But I’m just saying. . .
        Thank you once more. 💕

    • Mt.Laurel says:

I was reading up on tips for heat/cats as I have to leave them during the day and Mom is no longer here to help keep them comfortable while I am a work. One of the commenteors mentoned this as a help for portable units and I recalled the portable air conditioner discussion here at TCH. There are likely other versions – but having used a portable air unit when I was on heavy meds that gave me hot flashes in February – I did notice heat in the hose. So it is something to explore.

      • lateblum says:

I haven’t had time to check it out the link, so I bookmarked it. Thanks for the suggestions. It’s night time now, and I just checked my back porch temp… 89. That means the temp has dropped 6 degrees since I was last outside. Hooray!
It is supposed to stay in the 90’s through the weekend. Sad.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly:

Good: I have a new dishwasher! Hubby asked me to pick, then he ended up picking, but the one he wanted is really nice so I said yes. 🙂 We drive to DE and picked it up (no sales tax) and he spent all day yesterday installing it. It’s so faaancyyyy.

The Bad: my kitchen sink has been slow-draining for a while. Hubby also tried snaking the heck out of it, and doing all sorts of stuff, but it is still slow. I suspect someone will have to go on the roof and see if the air vents are clogged but I don’t want hubby to do that, too scary.

The Ugly: Kid the Younger’s phone broke (screen went dark). It’s The End Of The World As We Know It.

I didn’t realize that Melania was in the play too.

Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on an offensive play funded by the New York Times:

New York’s Public Theater has decided to malign the president and his wife in its production of “Julius Caesar.” The Shakespeare in the Park play opens today at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park.

It depicts President Trump as Caesar the dress and iconography are unmistakableand Melania as Caesar’s wife Calpurnia, complete with a Slavic accent. Trump/Caesar is brutally assassinated.

I keep asking almost daily what has Trump done to offend you. What one thing has made your life hell. Crickets.
I have no idea how my teeny tiny twitter verse reflects the real world, but there seem to be many gays in support of Trump.
I get a win because in 2008 I was fighting my ass off for killary. They cant play gender card. Had the dims supported hills then they might have gotten 16 years. The Supreme Court basically forever. They got greedy. Brazille said we do not need you. She essentially told me to drink bleach and die. Well 50,000 of us in PA took you at your word.
I firmly believe there was yuuuuge voter fraud. It just wasn’t enough to over come the Trump train. I do not believe the numbers for my county. Hogwash.
I left dims in 2008. More then anything I think it was Palin. I was disgusted. Dims were so ugly. I am 50 I had a few rough patches growing up gay. No Christian ever treated me like Palin. They get so cruel.

Well the rats at RNC got me.
I stopped contributing 3 months ago.
I had a e-mail from Karen Handels campaign, or so I thought.
Sent some money and after the contribution was acknowledged, I read at the very bottom, “The RNC thanks you for your support.”
“Not endorsed by any candidate or candidate campaign committee.”
So unless they give it to Handel it stays at RNC.

  56. helenk3 says:

why not set up a camp for muslim immigrants at the 9th circuit courthouse. they want them , they got them. let them trip over them praying at the entrances and exits. let them try to hold hearing with the call to prayers and chanting going on. Let them go without a bacon cheeseburger for lunch because the smell of bacon offends the muslims.

I think all those who are calling to allow these people with no vetting to come in should have to move to Dearborn Michigan for at least 1 year, with their families. Then let us know if they still feel the same way
