Puerto Rico should get help with hurricane relief, but I really they should look in mirror about some of the problems that were there before the hurricane

what is it with these “professors” and their self hatred? this fool does not look too tan to me.
Why are the universities allowing these people to teach?

If they people are being sent to put their lives on the line, this government better back them and have the will to win.

I love this! I wonder if the fact that his real name is Warren Wilhelm Jr. has anything to do with this accusation. 🙂

New York City mayor derided as ‘fake Italian’ as statue debate heats up

After pushing to remove the city’s statues of controversial historical figures, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has been snubbed by organizers of the Bronx Columbus Day Parade.

One committee member has even derided the Italian-American mayor as a “fake Italian.”

    • CiscoKid says:

      Makes perfect sense.
Warren is a fake Native American, Obama is a fake Christian, McCain is a fake Republican, etc.,etc.

A woman was charged with murder in Camden NJ after beating her boyfriend to death with a iron fry pan.
    Wise guys @ rsbntv, ask.
Was this a assault pan and was it in a bump-pan mode.?
    Sorry, I think that’s funny.

Is it just me, or does it seem that Melania accompanies her husband much more than Mooch ever did? I don’t recall seeing Mooch so much with her narcissist hubby on all these presidential journeys. But I am not ruling out that I may have blocked those memories, because they were so odious.

    • Somebody says:

      You are remembering correctly Swannie.

    • DeniseVB says:

I thought the same thing too. Of course, my husband wasn’t a President during his active duty years, I just wanted to be with him for all those “silly” and “required” appearances that went with the “job”. I burned my “required” formal wear after he retired. If I knew how to work my scanner thingy, I’d share the Brown Dress 😉

Did Obama visit the Pulse survivors? I ignored him instead of hating him.

      • lateblum says:

I hated him and avoided him. So I wouldn’t know whether he visited Pulse. My not so original thoughts are he either went golfing or fundraising. Bronco rarely was accompanied by his brood mare.

I heard this article mentioned 2 or 3 times today, so I had to look it up. A very honest op-ed from someone who is against guns, but doesn’t think laws solve the problem.

I just saw Bill Bennett on Martha McCallum’s program and he mentioned something that I’ve been thinking about today. So many tragic situations have occurred in the last few weeks, beginning with Harvey in Texas, then Irma in Florida, Maria in PR and now the massacre in LV. PDJT and FLOTUS have spent much time visiting the areas, the people and being an empathic presence during those visits. I wonder who is helping them after taking in the suffering they have witnessed.

I was one of many people in our department who was available throughout the 9-11 tragedy. For months – and yes even years, people shared their many feelings and thoughts with us. It was, at times, simply overwhelming. We called it “secondary PTSD”. We ended up forming our own support group and, with supervision, we worked on our own thoughts and feelings that we were experiencing. It was probably how we all didn’t lose our own minds during that time. I know that in LV the professional medical providers need time to debrief. So do the LEOs and other public safety people. So do those who suffered in all those areas hit by the Hurricanes. I hope PDJT and FLOTUS have people who can help them to manage the effects of their recent experiences. They have been on call for every crisis so far and they must be drained.

Norman Rockwell was involved in one of the first correspondence art schools. There’s an exhibit at his museum dedicated to the teachers who taught art in ways that were non-traditional at the time. You can sit and watch Bob Ross on TV, and a lot of people do. As well as try to draw Tippy the Turtle.

    • Lulu says:

“Diversity” has become leftys eating each other. Each group separated off from the body politic is now out for themselves, only themselves and it is a splintered mess. Elites thought they could control blacks, Latinos, LGBT’s, “women”, union members, socialists, criminals, etc and now they are all fighting each other AND the elites. The push for “diversity” in Europe is leading to a splintering of entire countries with large cultural pockets such as Catalonia in Spain, the Veneto, Lombardy and Savoy in Italy, Flemings in Belgium, France and Netherlands. The differences in culture were highlighted and nurtured for Muslims and now ancient and native cultures want their own space too. So does California and the cultural elites of the US east coast. Diversity and unity do NOT go together. The religion of diversity has backfired. The drive for one world and one world government controlled by self appointed moronic elites has boomeranged on their stupid asses. The “citizens of the world” aren’t going to have anywhere to go because everyone is going to be a “minority” with their own little country.

      • John Denney says:

Diversity and unity are possible when there is a reason among the diverse to unify.
In the little church I attend with people from 20+ nations, it’s the love of Jesus.
Among Americans (not all U.S. citizens are Americans), it’s the self-evident truths found in the Declaration of Independence.

      • John Denney says:

I’m white, but my beloved karaoke friends are Chinese, Japanese, Black, White, Hispanic, and Vietnamese.
I hadn’t really noticed, they were just friends, until one night at a long table someone mentioned race, and then I looked up and down the table at all my friends and realized I was the only white guy at the table, and too, just before I sat down I had been warmly greeted by two female friends, a Hispanic and a Black, on their way to their boyfriends.
That realization did not make me uncomfortable at all, but reinforced my view that making a big deal about race is really stupid.

    • Miranda says:

It won’t do the ACLU any harm to find out how fast ‘friends’ can turn on you. I didn’t feel sorry for Pelosi either.

  31. Lulu says:

A large part of the Diversity religion, movement is the desire to be different, special, unique. It is also a phase of adolescence when human beings try to feel out their place in the world. Rebellion, trying out different “things”, some risk taking, growing up emotionally are all part of it. But our culture, which has spread to much of the world, has glorified this awkward and scary phase of childhood, and allowed too many people to stay in it as a form of arrested development. It is perennially stunted, ignorant, selfish, lazy and fragile. They want to be treated as cosseted and loved beings with no reciprocal effort FOREVER. Expected in adolescent children and tolerated as a phase towards maturity, it isn’t in adults and people who managed to grow up are sick of it from dimwits.

All of the race diversity, BLM diversity, NFL protest diversity, media harping on diversity, students rebelling against white professors teaching them anything diversity, Dreamers going after Nancy Pelosi diversity, white privilege diversity, Michelle Obama hatin’ on white men diversity, etc got its start in earnest with Obama. He was president, that was his thing, and we couldn’t avoid it because he was elected twice. We have one president at a time and he was it. Elites, media, minorities, proggies ate it up and couldn’t get enough. Hillary, old sick white rich crook was fully on board. It was her “thing” too. Then she lost. Diversity lost. Proggy lost. Elites lost. Dreamers lost. BLM lost. They were schlonged. Obama is not in office any more and his shit is over. They are still in shock. No one has to watch that crap any more as the NFL is finding out, as the media is finding out (ATT is going to clean out CNN and then sell it for a profit as it is worthless scrap now), and as the campus loons are finding out with rape star chambers getting tossed because they are illegal. We were made to care and now we don’t and they can’t figure out why. So they yell louder which drives the don’t care crowd further away. If nothing ever pleases them, is never enough, and their entire lives center on bitching and outrage, why should anyone ever care about them? No one who has (mostly) embraced should. And I don’t and I already feel better.

    • CiscoKid says:

If I may so, excellent analysis.
Something we’ll never hear from the electronic media or the printed.
That would make one hell of an editorial.

    • John Denney says:

I love diversity. There is a shopping mall near work I can go to for lunch and have my choice of Chinese, Japanese, American burgers, Spanish, Middle Eastern kebabs, fusion food truck (seared ahi tacos!), Vietnamese, Italian, . . .
No royalty; no master race; no untouchables, but respect for all, and Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

I posted this picture the day after the shootings.
At the time he was just an unsung hero protecting a woman from gunfire by shielding her with his body. Here’s more on him. A stark contrast to the anti-fa cowardly thugs.
