Bye-Bye, Sloppy Steve!

“You’re fired.”

Sources are reporting that the sloppy hobo formerly known as Steve Bannon was defenestrated from Breitbart today. Bannon plans to spend more time leaking shit about his family while he tries to suck his own dick.

And now a word from our sponsors:

Feinstein released transcript so testimony of future witnesses can be coordinated. FBI & DOJ witnesses still to testify need to know what Simpson told them. No obstruction on her part though.

Even a nobody like me has learned enough about Simpson to be able to call BE (bovine excrement) on that pile of 💩 he is trying to peddle.

Somewhere along the way Simpson must have decided that if you can’t defeat corruption by exposing it, that he might as well take what he learned as a journalist and make some money selling his opposition research (smearing) services to those with the deepest pockets.

Simpson and Larry Sabato (U of VA) co-wrote a book, Dirty Little Secrets, about politics years ago. Simpson has become what he identified & criticized years ago. He sold his soul to the devil. Kinda like the Dems.

I found some insightful passages in the transcript I would like to share here when can use my Mac. I don’t know how to do copy paste paragraphs using my iphone.

You gotta learn how “The Trump Show” works. Even a few of the smarter reporters are catching on:

Trump curse is bi-partisan & shows no mercy.

Bannon never should have attacked Trump’s kids — not just Don Jr. in the book, but Breitbart was running pieces daily attacking ‘Javanka’ calling them ‘Mr. & Mrs.Perfect’ etc.

  13. Venus E. Lee says:

Ho Lee Phuc! Time really is up — Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen just filed defamation lawsuits against Buzzfeed, Fusion GPS & Glenn Simpson personally for the Trump dossier (Cohen is mentioned in it) That wouldn’t have happened if things weren’t ready to roll.

Did anyone see Tucker’s show last night? James Damore and his lawyer were on, a lawsuit was filed against Google. Unbelievable what was revealed about Google, a full on SJW company.
Much worse than I thought, bunch of totalitarians. A copy of the lawsuit is included in the link.

    • Jeffhas says:

Watched entire show – Tucker covers so much ground on varying topics, it is astounding! I find him to be ‘more balanced’ in his coverage and he asks tough questions. Most of the other night time Fox shows have an obvious bias, which is fine in countering ALL other outlets, AND it’s my bias too, so…. but Tucker is fair and I love when he gives the other side a shot, and time and again they prove what moron’s they can be.

Brett’s special report I regard as straight, hard news…

I still miss Bill O’Reilly (I know !!??!!) I just don’t pay attention to FOX news the way I used to, and my cable doesn’t have OAN (and I keep hammering them)…. so my news habits are more passive and I only take what I want and have no ‘must see’ shows…

      but Tucker does major work.

      • taw46 says:

You and I belong to the small club of people who miss O’Reilly, lol. I don’t watch FNC like I did, but I do manage to see most of Tucker’s shows. And some of Laura Ingaham. When I turn it on any other time, it is usually FBN.

      • Dora says:

I miss O’Reilly too. Especially the way he was when he first started ‘The Spin Zone’ many years ago. He wasn’t afraid to tell it like it i\ was back then.

        • Jeffhas says:

Thank you – I felt like I was the only one who missed ‘the man who shall be nameless’. As they ‘disappear’ him as fast as they can.

I didn’t always agree with Bill, but I appreciated that he tried to bring in both sides and let me decide for myself how I felt about a story.

I also liked that he gave new people a chance to shine, and so many stars and even just commentators across all new channels owe him for just giving them a shot. I just liked seeing new perspectives.

Lastly, Bill O had real POWER as a news anchor. When he took up a cause, it got noticed – although most other media would never give him credit, he would champion many causes and be heard. I don’t see that in other major news anchor’s, they all parrot the same damn stories and talking points, or cannot be taken as seriously.

I really wonder if we was such a monster, or just a breed from a different time… or maybe just a target…

    • Jadzia says:

I learned the hard way, as these lawyers are about to learn, that there are no happy endings in a David and Goliath lawsuit against Google. The company uses and gets away with very underhanded tactics and the plaintiff is going to have the entire big law establishment lined up against him. Regardless of whether his suit has any merit.

      • taw46 says:

Sadly true. I don’t think he has a chance. But for me, it is a good thing to have all those Google emails/memos printed (in the filing) to show just how “social justicy” they are. I am all for waking up people, whatever it takes.

I know most are not interested in hearing RD’s POV, and I get that, I was invested once at that blog and now only look and never comment. I do however like to read what the other side thinks, and because I have a history with TC, there is a basis point to judge how far the drift has been.

This morning, this statement (as many others in the past) crystallized our divergence:

“The NYT crafted a narrative about Hillary and took every opportunity to make her news unpleasant and difficult while greasing the skids for Trump”

Really? While I remember NYT articles about ‘the emails’, I didn’t find them targeted from a position of opposition to Hillary. I’d say if anything THE WORST articles about her emails were basically straight journalism articles taking no side… of course there were so many BETTER articles regarding The Emails in terms of providing Hillary cover.

… BUT how could anyone deny the 100% negative, screaming articles ‘the failing NYT’ wrote about Trump? If there were articles that ‘greased the skids’ for Trump, I’d sure like to see a few, or even one ! This statement about the NYT positive Trump bias has no credibility, so that every other word made by RD has to be filtered through the lens of ‘no credibility’. It’s astonishing how separate our worlds our now.

Watch: Cruise from hell sailed right through “bomb cyclone” despite storm forecast

May I say that looks like great fun! Hubby and I went on a cruise in the ’80s that went through the edge of a hurricane and we had the best time. Neither of us is seasick or motion sick (nor any of our children) and we ran all over the ship (he was drunk part of the time) hooting it up. We got shooed in by officers when we got drenched by waves splashing over the rails and clowning around outside in formal wear. I ate like a horse by myself in the grand dining room for breakfast one morning during the pitching and rolling and was complimented as a first rate seaman, er, woman. We KNEW there was a storm out there and went anyway. Loved it! Check the weather if you get seasick on a cruise. And the sea in a storm is beautiful.

    • taw46 says:

One of my uncles returned from Europe on a ship after the end of WWII there. I can’t remember how many were aboard, probably 1000+. Anyway, there was a bad storm, everyone was sick but him and a few others. They had the ship to themselves, ate all they wanted, had a grand old time.

I have never been on a cruise, but have been on ferries many times in Greece. Once during a storm, and my friend and I were the only ones out on deck drinking on that rocking boat. So no sea sickness for me, but still would not like to be on a ship during a hurricane. Funny story about you and your husband, you are brave souls, lol.

    • Somebody says:

OMG, I’m so J. I get so seasick, it’s terrible. The only time I’m not is when the boat is docked. Add to that, I can’t use the patches because they cause hives. The only thing that works are those wrist bands. I have to take several sets and my hands stay really swollen. I am one miserable bitch on a cruise. To be fair our cruise was during gale force winds. The ship next to us got hit by a rogue wave right after we turned to head into port. You may remember that story……..that wave was aiming for me I just know it!

If, if, I ever go on another cruise, I want serious prescription medication. OTC crap doesn’t cut it for me.

    • elliesmom says:

The very first cruise we went on got stranded out to sea because of a hurricane. We experienced a lot of rain, some wind, not as much boat rocking as I expected, but it was just enough to make a lot of people seasick. We got a extra day’s cruise out of it because the port was closed. The only thing that really bothered me was how much more nervous people smoke. I spent a lot of time standing out in the rain to get out of the fog, which was worse inside than outside. The cruise line didn’t have enough designated smoking places to accommodate all of the smokers so they pretty much let people smoke everywhere. There were a lot of oxygen tanks out on the deck. But we had fun in the storm.

    • DeniseVB says:

That was a Norwegian Cruise Ship? LOL, why I do Royal Caribbean, the pussies would have stayed in port….in the Bahamas! I never get sea sick, but would have been pissed I couldn’t use my balcony upgrade 😉 Otherwise, as bored as I get on cruises, that would have been fun to experience. 4k passengers, wow. Would have been a MAJOR story if that thing rolled and sank. Bigger than the Titanic. That brief glimpse of the map, Hello, Bermuda Triangle. Lucky for them, poor crew.

Now imagine being a Titanic survivor with a roll of film showing the iceberg and the sinking. You would be rich.

        • Somebody says:

Oh please we have so many wild stories from our vacations, the weather stories are boring in comparison. How many of you have encountered dead bodies on your vacations? Our body count is 3. Escaped convicts? Been there done that. How about bombs, 1 and narrowly missed a 2nd.

So I was wondering if maybe we could plan a Crawdad hole vacation, LOL! Once hubby’s co-workers planned an ATC cruise. When we decided to book, swear to God everyone else canceled.

Spousal privilege – but that survives divorce, so there is more to it than that.

      • Jeffhas says:

        How about just:

      • SHV says:

“The spousal testimonial privilege is also based on the policy of encouraging spousal harmony. This privilege permits a spouse to refuse to testify in a criminal proceeding against his or her spouse. The testifying spouse holds this privilege and the defendant spouse may not claim the privilege on behalf of an existing spouse. The privilege ceases to exist when the marriage is terminated.”
Need a lawyer to say what it all means….but seems like after a divorce, Anthony could be forced to testify about Huma’s criminal behavior.

        • Jadzia says:

If I recall my crim law class correctly, the spousal testimonial privilege prevents you from being compelled to testify against your current spouse at all (and can be asserted by either spouse), whereas the marital communication privilege survives divorce and prevents a person from being forced to testify about conversations that occurred during the marriage, again at the option of either spouse. I think my iq is our resident expert in crim law, though.
