Trump Rocks Davos

Today’s top story? Trump wanted to fire Mueller, but he didn’t. Which somebody who was there told somebody who wasn’t there who told a reporter who told everybody. And Trump denies it, so you know it must be true. I can’t wait until some Democrat demands a special prosecutor.

This is triple-hearsay. Even if true, so what? It isn’t a crime. It isn’t an impeachable offense. Maybe if he had actually fired Mueller there would have been a politcal price to pay, but he didn’t do it.

In other important news, apparently the curator of the Guggenheim thought it would be a funny joke to offer to loan the White House a gold-plated toilet. Ha ha. And that guy who wrote a book full of lies about Trump now claims The Donald is banging Nikki Haley. And Melania Trump is in Florida, so she must be mad at her husband for banging that pornstar too.

Meanwhile, Riverdaughter is concerned about Trump’s “stamina” but I have no idea what that is about. Maybe she thinks he has too much of it.

For over 8 years the media behaved like fangirls towards Obama. Now they behave like paparazzi to the Trump family.

Concerned about Trump’s stamina? That man runs circles around people much younger than he is.

So which is it, btw? Trump is old and feeble or he’s banging every woman in sight except his gorgeous wife?? It seems to change from day to day. Last week CNN was practically writing his obituary, now this week he’s a horndog…….my head is spinning.

As for the story about him wanting to fire Mueller, can anyone blame him? He didn’t so it’s a non-story…..water cooler chitter chatter that most likely is fake.

It is the common practice of Social Justice Warriors to infiltrate organizations and hobbies in which they have little to no interest — videogames, comic books, sports, science-fiction awards organizations, all academic fields, etc. — for the sole purpose of seizing “critical nodes and infrastructure,” as Diversity and Comics notes (echoing US military doctrine), in order to turn non-political pastimes into never-ending propaganda echo chambers — or destroy them outright, if they cannot be made to serve the regressive left’s propaganda mission.

They’re deadly parasites for any organization that allows them to crawl inside their bodies.

But these organizations let them in — hell, they actively seek them out — just so that social justice blogs and websites like The Mary Sue or Buzzfeed will give them the Social Justice Warrior Stamp of Approval.

Trouble is, as Marvel Comics is finding out, Social Justice Warriors are not consumers of any of these products, and will not buy them even if they have been converted into full Social Justice Warrior propaganda outfits.

These organizations are being infiltrated by Social Justice Warriors not because Social Justice Warriors like them or the cultural products they produce, but because Social Justice Warriors know that non- Social Justice Warriors enjoy these products, and thus these cultural artifacts must be seized and repurposed to serve leftist indoctrination ends or simply destroyed.

If they cannot be remade to be useful indoctrination centers, then they must be destroyed, so that, at least, non-Social Justice Warriors will have one less enjoyable thing in their lives, and may be forced to seek Social Justice Warrior-controlled entertainments as an alternative.

Seeing those Bald Eagles reminded me that the day after Trump won, I noticed a Bald Eagle flying around our house, landed in a tree in the back yard, sat for 15-20 minutes and flew away. First time I had seen an eagle around our house and haven’t seen one since; that was some weird shit.

What happens if DACA expires before Congress acts on it?

      • taw46 says:

Trump could extend it beyond March 5, but if he does, the 10 states will probably go ahead with their lawsuit to end it. If he does not extend it, they become subject to deportation once their authorization runs out. Some already are approved through March 2020, the last approved (staggered authorizations). The administration has already said it would not go after them for deportation unless they are criminals. None can travel internationally after expiration, as they would not be allowed to re-enter the country.

Just saw Trump touch down in DC. Was hoping he’d go right to Palm Beach where Melania is, and definitely for some deserved downtime. Can’t wait for the media to blurt *trouble in paradise” headlines tomorrow. I honestly don’t think The Donald knows what downtime is…..coming off another successful overseas trip, the SOTU this week, our guy is just too busy with MAGA 😀

    • Ann says:

What a fabulous photo! Good for you, Dora!

      • DeniseVB says:

It’s got a great story behind it too, I hope Dora will share, but I do remember it was an exciting journey from Long Island to Trump Tower and a very long line. He still treated them like they were the only people in line.

For contrast, I was at the National Air and Space Museum and noticed Sally Ride was signing her book (no line, her and assistant were all alone). Decided what a cool book to buy for my twin grandgirlies AND meet and support Sally. So I bought the book and got in the no-line. Only to have her assistant tell me, *Do Not Talk to Sally, *No selfies, *No personalized requests. (Thinking “wow, just like the “soup nazi”). Me and my two travel buds were the ONLY ones in line! Fine. Got back to the hotel and had one of the travel buds add…. To Ayla and Charlotte, Reach For the Stars!…..I still have the book. Still pissed at Sally, R.I.P.

Wow, I met Neil Armstrong at the national air and space museum out at Dulles. He was SUPER nice! In fact I didn’t know who he was except a nice man that took my daughter on a tour. He was there for the shuttle and a NASA event, his last public appearance.

He overheard my stellar tour guide skills……daughter asks about rocket engines… gee I don’t know, but see that airstream trailer over there? They quarantined the astronauts in that in case of moon germs! He took pity on my daughter and explained the significance of all the rocket engines on display.

I thought he was a docent, he said he was a retired college professor among other things. He didn’t look like the Neil Armstrong I remember when he stepped on the moon surface. When he passed away they had a picture of him from his last appearance where he expressed disappointment with Obama’s decisions regarding the change in NASA’s mission. We talked about that while we were walking around too.

Anyway when I saw his picture from that day a light bulb went off. I grabbed my digital camera and yep, there was my daughter with Neil Armstrong…..getting a personal tour. Super nice man. He was so nice to my daughter, asked about stuff she was learning…..taught her stuff, suggested some books……Neil Armstrong, OMG! Fantastic memory even if we didn’t know who he was at the time.

So if Neil can be down to earth and humble, I don’t know what Miss Sally’s problem was.

        • taw46 says:

Well, to be fair, it may have been the “handlers”, not Sally. When NASA would have the Apollo astronauts appear at the Visitors Center, they were the same way, very strict. However, since you were the ONLY ones in line, she could have talked to you.

I did many “meet and greet signings” with lots of shuttle astronauts. A few didn’t want to talk to anyone, but most were very friendly. In fact I had to be the bad guy to try and move people along when the lines were so big.

    • taw46 says:

      Love it!

You found it! Thank you Denise.

      It seems so long ago.

When Tom and I left that day, I remember telling Donald Trump that I wished the election wasn’t a whole year away.

      Time flies. 🙂

This story, plus the Steve Wynn story… spidey senses are telling me incoming allegations against POTUS. They’ve been building, they are waiting to drop something I just know it. After the memo release? Ahead of SOTU, just after?

Don is so good. After 30+ years he got fired from his WV paper because he was “too hard” on Obama. Every now and then, his blog posts reflect that. Lucky for us, he has more time now to post. Such common sense wisdom 🙂

I want to move to Missouri so I can vote for this guy::

A Missouri man running for U.S. Senate is under fire for controversial comments about women’s rights.

Courtland Sykes, a Republican who hopes to replace Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill in the U.S. Senate, called feminists “nasty snake-filled heads,” in a Facebook post meant to clarify his stance on women’s rights.

“In light of recent questions regarding my views on Women’s Rights, attached is my full statement from September 2017,” Sykes said on his Facebook page.

In the statement, Sykes said he supports women’s rights because his fiancée Chanel Rion has given him “orders” to favor them. But, that support isn’t free, Sykes notes.

“Chanel knows that my obedience comes with a small price that she loves to pay anyway: I want to come home to a home-cooked dinner at six every night, one that she fixes and one that I expect one day to have daughters learn to fix after they become traditional homemakers and family wives — think Norman Rockwell here and Gloria Steinem be damned,” he said in the statement.

In the statement, Sykes goes on to say that he supports women’s rights, but not the “mean-spirited radical feminists.”

“I don’t buy into radical feminism’s crazed definition of modern womanhood and I never did. They don’t own that definition — and never did. They made it up to suit their own nasty, snake-filled heads,” he said. “Modern women can BE anything they want, including traditional women — as millions are and millions are fast becoming. Millennial women voters despised Hillary (Clinton) and cost her the election (and they weren’t Russians). I wonder why they despise her? One reason is they look at her life’s personal wreckage and din’t want to become like her.”

Sykes hopes that if he has daughters they too will forgo the traps of “radical feminism” in favor of a life at home.

“I don’t want them [to] grow up into career obsessed banshees who forego home life and children and the happiness of family to become nail-biting manophobic hell-bent feminist she-devils,” he said.
