It is killing me to not watch the EAGLES tomorrow. So many years waiting for this and then the damn NFL has to screw it up with their ignorance and cowardness over expecting respect for our flag and country.
I will not give them a click so they can collect.

  7. helenk3 says:

between voter fraud and the FBI spying and trying to bring down a sitting president, One of our most cherished freedoms is under attack,
Voter choice in an election is something this country is founded upon. Interfere with that and the whole country loses.

  8. helenk3 says:

funny how the libs can not understand that the few jeopardize the rest. Those at the top who put party before country hurt the whole department. It is not the people that stood up against the few that did it.

I am so glad I do not have kids in school anymore. I would most likely be in jail because I would be at the school loud and proud screaming about the stupidity going on today

    • DeniseVB says:

Ouch, worried about the feelings of the kids who are in transition? Kids. So don’t go. Why punish the traditional families ? Wonder if you’re a family of all boys, that leaves them out too. I’d be more upset over the Mother-Son Field Day (in the article), that’s sports and stuff right? Wonder if mom hates sports, out of shape, disabled or is 9 mos. pregnant? They probably simply don’t participate rather than get all wee-weed up.

Ivanka is a smart cookie and her daddy’s favorite. She is coyly and subtly introducing herself and her family to America. Nothing too obvious. She is just building her brand.

  11. swanspirit says:

All this garbage about the sacrosanct FBI and CIA is such propaganda. What the public could use, is a good refresher course on Watergate. For some people, it would be an introductory course.
But then we could start some comparisons. Is Comey more comparable to G. Gordon Liddy, or L. Patrick Gray?
And where is Mark (deep throat) Felt when we need him?

    • Myiq2xu™ says:

Comey is Mark Felt, except somebody was dumb enough to promote him.

    • SHV says:

The more I read about FISA procedures, the worse it gets. The Obama DOJ/FBI are utterly corrupt but the FISA court and judges are worse. The fact that FISC judges approved FISA Title I surveillance is unbelievable. This authority is almost never warranted against a US citizen unless there is probable cause that that person is basically a danger on the level of Julius Rosenberg. And they re-approved at least four times.

      • Lulu says:

At first impression the FISA judges seem to be a rather lackadaisical or stupid bunch. Easily snookered and just accepting of whatever crap the FBI and DOJ feed them and rubber-stamping everything. is no way to run a secret and totally one sided court. They don’t seem to be the cream of the federal judiciary. But since Obama’s bunch appointed them all through that dunce Roberts they are probably in on the scheme to spy on “enemies” or blackmailed themselves. Probably need to impeach a few judges or run them off through pressured retirements to remind ALL of the fed judiciary they need to meet some standards that are very high for lifetime appointments. The FISA judges seem to be laying low and playing stupid hoping it blows over for them. These shit-heads are hurting the standing and respect given to the entire fed judiciary. One strike and you’re out judges.

        • Somebody says:

I think they rubber stamp because they don’t want to be called out in the event of a terrorist attack. “Gosh, Mr and Mrs USA, we tried, we knew the threat was there but judge so and so blocked us”.

The entire concept of FISA has to be at least a little outside these judges comfort zone too.

  12. helenk3 says:

why is this not a surprise, part of the backtrack bunch

EASTON, Md. (AP/WBOC)- An Eastern Shore waterfowl hunter is in stable condition after a dead goose fell from the sky and knocked him unconscious.

Fifty-one-year-old Robert Meilhammer of Dorchester County was hunting with three other people shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday when one of them fired at a flock of Canada geese overhead in Easton, near the Miles River on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

Maryland Natural Resources Police spokeswoman Candy Thomson said a falling goose hit Meilhammer, knocking him out and causing head and facial injuries.

When he came to, he knew who he was, but “little else,” according to a Natural Resources police officer.

The agency tweeted Friday that Meilhammer was in stable condition and awaiting more tests at Baltimore’s Shock Trauma Center.

Accused serial killer’s methods eerily match Stephen King story
In Stephen King’s macabre short story “The Lawnmower Man,” a sex-crazed landscaper murders and dismembers the suburban homeowner who hires him to cut his overgrown lawn.

  21. Lulu says:

Hubby is having some old dudes over to watch the Super Bowl with him. No alcohol. LOL. They have to vacate the premises when it is over and he isn’t driving some fool home. Anyway he bought some frozen pizza for snacks so I don’t have to cook as I have been under the weather a little. I didn’t tell him (and hid the evidence) but I’m making very special guacamole for them. It is my rip-off recipe I deconstructed of the guac from an Austin restaurant famous for it. I think I will eat half of it for my dinner. I don’t watch football. I walk through and and say “What’s the score?” even though I could care less. Happy Super Bowl everybody! Do whatever the hell you want today!

    • Dora says:

I hate football. I always have. Luckily Hubby doesn’t like it either, so at least I don’t have to entertain any ‘old dudes’. 🙂

    • elliesmom says:

We’re not football fans, either. We’ve been invited to a Superbowl party. It’s about a 20 minute drive. There will be alcohol, but as the driver, there will be none for me. They’ll only have diet soda, which I can’t drink, so I’ll be toting my own whatever because while just drinking water is fine with me, doing it will put everyone into “just have one” mode. I’ve made an Italian sausage stromboli and a bucket of caramel popcorn to take. Yesterday Elliesdad took a fall and scraped his forehead and got some bruises. While I don’t want him to be in pain, I’m sort of hoping he doesn’t feel like going. It’s a wet, miserable day., and I’d rather eat the stromboli and watch the Puppy Bowl with Ellie. I don’t want to disappoint our friends, but I’m just not up for this today. I’m supposed to be the “cheerleader” and get Elliesdad out and about more, but after taking him to the doctor yesterday, I’m just not into being sociable today.

    • taw46 says:

I don’t watch football, but there will be a party today. My sister and her husband are having friends over. So I will do the same, stroll through occasionally to pretend I care, lol. Will probably curl up with a book somewhere.

      • Somebody says:

I love guacamole too. I make pretty good guacamole, but I am always up for new recipes!

        • swanspirit says:

I love avocados!!! I have avocado toast for breakfast, but I add bacon or prosciutto, blue cheese crumbles, and semi-poached eggs. Decadent avocado toast.
Semi poached eggs, the way I make them, you start out like fried eggs, but add about 1/4 cup of water, cover, and finish by steaming. I don’t know what else to call them, but I like them that way. Really easy to do, too.

Technically I think it is sedition and conspiracy and probably some incrementing other charges. There are a lot of people who keep saying treason has to be during a time of war.

I am not attorney, maybe some here can opine. I just keep seeing that statement in reference to all this spying mess, that we are not at war so sedition not treason. They usually cite US codes.

Argument in my house this morning. Hubby cooks breakfast, which includes grits (he can’t cook grits, fails every single time).

I walk into the kitchen and see the pot of grit soup. “OMG, not again! What in the hell is wrong with you? Can you not follow simple GD instructions? Jesus Christ what a mess, let’s get these back on the stove and see if we can salvage them…..geez I swear honey you have some kind of latent, Yankee, grit retard gene”

Notice how sweet and kind I am in the morning, LMAO!

Hubby swears he followed the directions. Later through conversation I discover he made a math error and the mystery is solved.

The grits are still soppy despite cooking them longer and adding cheese to thicken, but alas the eggs are getting cold so we gotta go with it. I turn to him and say “Honey how about grabbing us a couple of spoons for our grits, I’ll get some bowls”.

Hubby replies, “You bitch, that was below the belt. You can call me a retard, you can insult me, but don’t you dare eat my grits with a spoon that is a bridge too far, I won’t stand for it!”

Note, if you aren’t a southerner you may not get this. Grits,a southern thing.
