Trumped Again

Yesterday Trump did the unexpected and sat down with a bunch of kids from Parkland. Not the ones that the media have been pimping, but real, authentic survivors. CNN countered with a lynch mob.

Today, Trump sat down with some grown-ups. He’s stealing it.

The Left has owned gun control for decades. Between Muslim Islamic Terrorists with Unknown Motives and nutjobs we get a few mass shooting incidents a year. Nobody likes it, nobody wants it, but that is the situation. The media (the Left) has made it a binary choice: Either you support gun control or you are a murderer.

They have been fine tuning this for years. They got things in place and waited for a chance to roll it out. I’m not saying they planned the shooting, they just planned to take advantage of the next one, which is now here.

“You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” – Rahm Emanuel

It sure didn’t take the Antigunners long to get organized on the ground, did it? In an election year.

But maybe they weren’t the only ones planning ahead. Trump has flipped the script. He’s talking about doing something NOW but it’s not the same old shit he’s talking sense. And he’s POTUS so they can’t not cover it.

Politics is part theater and Trump is a master showman.

Who is the only adult in the room?

Prediction: Bump stocks are gone. They’re low-hanging fruit. Trump grabbed it.

The 2nd Amendment is for defense.

Leftists should try it sometime. You know, using the Right to bear arms to actually defend the innocent.

  4. jenlyntx says:

Okay. Let’s get rid of guns. Start with those owned by Movie Stars, anyone with a Hollywood Connection, all government offices and all government officials. As long as they go first….

  5. jenlyntx says:

Actually, let’s start with fathead M. Moore’s guns. Oh, and no more fences either….

  6. jenlyntx says:

WAIT…let’s also start with video games. NO MORE video game guns which would mean about 93% of all video games would be illegal. NO MORE gun sticks, gun controls, shooting games, etc., etc. EVERY SINGLE ONE GONE….

  7. jenlyntx says:

No more body guards, no more bouncers, no more private security details, no more uniformed security officers at events like parties, sports events, gatherings, none of it NO MORE GUNS. DO IT.

  8. jenlyntx says:

Never mind that each and every school shooter was RAISED on violent video games showing people KILLING WITH GUNS, RAISED on violent pornography showing raping and killing, RAISED in this hypocritical society that professes to LOVE kids when they treat them like shit, BULLIED and TEASED, and then oh my god can you imagine where would they get the crazy idea to kill their tormentors with GUNS well eat shit and die from EVERY SINGLE FUCKING MEDIA OUTLET and of course the fact that the parents and other adults did jack shit to teach them better or protect them.

  9. jenlyntx says:

OH and wait there is MORE. Since most of the VIOLENT crimes done with guns are done by those possessing them ILLEGALLY let’s start with getting the guns back from the criminals. Perhaps we should start in the super safe friendly city known as CHICAGO because god knows guns are illegal there and boy is it safe to live there you only have like a 1 in 3 chance of being gunned down by a criminal illegally possessing a firearm. If we can’t get the guns from the criminals of course the next best solution is to take them from the non criminals right????? JESUS have we gotten this dumb and yes the answer to this rhetorical question is YES WE HAVE. So we have no law abiding citizens with guns, police ‘fraid to shoot for fear of being sued for racism or sexism or some ‘ism, and the only ones with guns who aren’t afraid to shoot are criminals that want to steal, rape and kill yes sir we would have quite a great fucking world wouldn’t we???? IS EVERYONE SMOKING CRACK?????

We have a civil war on our hands peeps. This is only going to get worse. They are never going to get better or smarter and they are never going to stop with the fake news. They are deranged and would rather be right than correct and they have no fear because they are so sick and so high on power and so entitled. We need to start planning because they are…they are plotting as I write this. More fake news, more illegal voting, more lies, more disruption, more corruption. Countries die when the media becomes propagandists and the guns are taken….we are on the precipice what should we do?

  13. John Denney says:

I seem to recall a Founding Father’s quote about being well armed when one is out and about.

Firearms are not the first line of defense. Defending someone may involve escalation:

    1) A word
    2) A sharp word
    3) A restraining hand
    4) A rap with a sturdy cane

The 2nd Amendments says, “arms” not “firearms”. At its writing that would have included a cane with a heavy metal handle, knives, swords, tomahawks, spears, bow and arrows, . . .

Imagine bearing those in the streets of Frisco or New York.

    • Myiq2xu™ says:

The Founding Fathers recognized that there is a time and place for everything. They didn’t carry weapons into a church, but they may have parked them outside. Some towns had local ordinances prohibiting carry weapons in certain places. And as you might guess, the laws were often applied selectively.

      • John Denney says:

At the very first performance of Handel’s Messiah, which happened to be in Dublin, April 13th, 1742, the venue was rather small for the expected audience size, so women were requested not to wear hoop skirts, and the men were requested to leave their swords outside.

What we do know is that the entire liberal political class couldn’t stop praising the activism and lack of “cynicism” displayed by these kids (a selective admiration reserved for those who coincidentally align with their positions.) The kids were indeed earnest, even if they were generally uneducated about gun laws, legal process, and the underpinning of the Second Amendment — which is to be expected. Those who use them as political shields, on the other hand, are cynical. Those who put them on TV to participate in a national Airing of Grievances are cynical. Those who point to bodies of victims and argue that every American who refuses to accept the Left’s framing of the issue are the ones that deserve contempt.

    • jenlyntx says:

more child abuse….taking ignorant children and feeding them lies and then using them.

        • jenlyntx says:

I like what Dana L from NRA said about gas lighting hardworking middle class people–like us–into thinking WE are the problem when we are most certainly not the problem. At this point since most police are on blue strike (not saying it but not responding as usual due to political climate) it would be OPEN KILL ZONE for all criminals if they knew the general population was unarmed.
Also, i am sad when I look at the youth of today. So utterly ignorant and it is our fault. We have allowed the educations system to be run by idiots with an agenda. Even though I do not like guns per se they are a necessary evil and without them in the world as we know it you are in big trouble.
Finally, I want CNN to focus on the bullying of Mr. Cruz–the alleged shooter–because I can pretty much guarantee that he was terribly bullied so all these holier than though kids who are in truth meanies hold their fair share of the blame here. Kids do not kill other kids unless they are psychotic OR bullied with zero guidance and brain washed by video games and porn. Just does not happen.

    • I would like to know who organized them. They may have gathered in their grief, but a teacher or parent or adult politico is behind this. That person needs to be identified, and that exploitation tale told.

  26. The problem with your assessment is your glossing over arms sales in the Middle East. Somewhere, somehow, the NRA’s influence over Congress results in more guns in the Middle East, and an ever expanding Military budget in the U.S.

With Obama in charge I’m sure.
That’s why we need the 2nd Amendment, to defend ourselves against f’ks like this who want to remake the world as it should be.

The NRA is getting blacklisted. A bank is dropping the NRA credit card, and businesses like Enterprise Car Rental are no longer offering the NRA discount. Progressive Nazis are alive and unwell. They pick guns over children. The non-fascists need to win this battle.

I can see an SRO trying to help a troubled kid stay out of jail by covering for him, thinking that he is helping the kid, then having it blow up. I can also see an SRO covering for a troubled kid for bad reasons, like sex.

I would certainly like some answers.

        • SHV says:

“Officer Scott Peterson standing outside the building while students were shot and killed is not unexpected. The roles of SRO’s are political, not law enforcement.

Here’s what people don’t understand. When the county policy is intentionally constructed to ignore criminal behavior in schools, the Sheriff and School superintendent cannot rely on “law and order-minded” SRO’s to carry out the corrupt policy.

The SRO must carry a political hat and be able to intercept behavior, modify the action based on a specific policy, falsify documents, manipulate records etc, and engage in the system with an understanding of the unwritten goals. SRO’s are given political instructions NOT, I repeat, NOT given instructions to uphold laws and regulations.
