Cry Havoc!

The Left wants a war. Let’s give it to them.

Counterattack Hard Against Liberal Attacks on Our Gun Rights and Other Civil Liberties

We’re now supposed to give up our guns because it’s the 21st Century, people, and the cops will totally protect us and oh, you can’t dare criticize the FBI for failing to disarm yet another ticking time bomb and what kind of crazy nut would expect a police officer to actually confront a gunman?

Show of hands: Who thinks this stops, even slows down, once those mean old not-actually-assault weapons get banned? That liberals have taken a hard stand in favor of cowardice does not exactly fill one with confidence that once we give up our Second Amendment rights that we’ll be safer or freer.

[…]

These gullible outliers don’t change the fact that the rest of the GOP is solid. That’s why the left is changing the rules and trashing our norms to do what they can’t do politically through intimidation. They have cultural power and we don’t, and they now seek to use businesses to destroy our rights and silence our voices. Understand that they don’t want an argument or a conversation – they want to use their non-governmental cultural power to deny us access to a platform so that we are unable to make our views heard. We need to recognize this dangerous trend and counterattack ruthlessly with our political power.

Conservatism is not a suicide pact, and our principles are not a mandate to unilaterally disarm. We need to make them hate the new rules. Maybe they won’t learn anything, but at least they won’t win by cheating.

The liberal elite is using its social and cultural ties to those at the helm of big companies to essentially blacklist the NRA, and thereby the tens of millions of Americans who support gun rights. But oppression is oppression whether it’s done by a government bureaucrat or a corporate one, and our principle of non-interference in business assumes business stays out of politics. But now National, Hertz, and others are cutting ties to the NRA, and liberals are advocating banks do the same. Their intent is clear – what they can’t do in politics they will simply do by not allowing the representatives of people whose politics they don’t like access to the infrastructure of society. And we’re not supposed to do anything about it because, you know, free enterprise and stuff. You know, our principles.

No. They are exercising political power. We have our own political power, and we need to exercise it – ruthlessly. The first step is an executive order at the federal level directing that no federal contract can go to any company that discriminates against an organization based on its advocacy or exercise of an enumerated constitutional right. We wouldn’t allow a company to do business with our federal government if it discriminated on other grounds, so why should we do it discriminate on political grounds? Why should taxpayers be subsidizing people who hate them? When those government employees start walking past the Hertz and National counters, the liberal jerks who run those companies are going to find that they’re posing and posturing has a price.

The Left is absolutely shameless. They can chant “Black Lives Matter!” with one breath and accuse anyone who questions the Broward County Sheriff’s leadership of hating cops with the next.

I’m tired of playing nice. I’m tired of losing with beta males. I think I need a nap.

What the media is not covering, an old Obama-Holder “Promise” plan that high school students not have a criminal record for stupid stuff. It was intended for minority students, but included white kids so nobody would notice, ya know, PC and sh*t. The FBI database for gun purchase background checks excludes these reports. Our boy, Nickolas, would have never been able to buy a gun based on some of those police calls. But he may have been able to figure out another way?

      • elliesmom says:

As I’ve said in multiple places over the last several days, most schools have at least one potential school annihilator in their midst. I knew one quite well. He looked like Chuckie from the Rugrats. Not what one would expect a dark, brooding kid to look and dress like. He caught my eye when I saw he was researching how to make a bomb. Fortunately, several of us noticed. A couple of teachers, Officer Benny, his guidance counselor. We got him on the right track, found him a peer group who appreciated his brain skills, and eventually sent him off to engineering school. At his graduation party he gave me a Rugrat umbrella. Crash loves it and doesn’t understand why I won’t give it to her to take home. But the point is he was halfway there in his bomb building skills. A gun hadn’t even entered his mind, but blowing up the cafeteria had.

Great post, KlownGod. And I totally agree. Dems/Progs – you want a fight? Here it comes, bitches! There hasn’t been anyone in politics or who has occupied a significant leadership role who fought back against prog assaults that everyday people could get behind until now. Andrew Breitbart fought back, but as a media personality, his influence wasn’t broad enough to rally any (self)organized group of citizens to support him as a cohesive movement. Now we have a leader in the White House, no less, who is not only an effective fighter, but also offers a good example: never throw the first punch, but if someone hits you, blow them away, hit them back “ten times harder”.

The professional left has only become louder and more vicious in their attacks, which tells me they’re back on their heels and beginning to panic. In my day to day observations, I’ve noticed that even in my deep blue zip code, Trump supporters are coming out of the closet faster than gays did in the 1970’s glam rock era. It’s no longer unusual to hear Upper West Siders say “Yeah, I voted for Trump. What’s it to you?” I recently told someone who started badgering me about some bullshit BLM issue “Don’t believe everything you hear about white people on the news. Some of us will fuck you up”. The response? Silence, retreat. I’m not the only one who’s speaking out, either. It’s quite refreshing to hear people standing up against being bullied by the brownshirts

more and more I am coming to the conclusion that being a legal citizen of this country puts you at a disadvantage. As a legal citizen you are expected to obey the law, pay taxes and contribute to the betterment of the country. If you send your kid to college you are expected to pay for it, not get a break because you are illegal
Illegals get government benefits, are not held responsible for obeying the law, and if they are working send most of their paychecks back to the country they left. If caught they cry victim and when deported they return without consequences.
Mexico is against the wall because the money from the USA due to drugs and sent back by illegals contributes to the country’s economy.

    just my opinion

      • Mt.Laurel says:

“if he had stopped the gunman i wouldn’t be here today”

Let me get this straight – now the little manikin that was hiding in a closest elsewhere on campus is basically saying he is glad the four officers did not do their jobs anymore than the school/county had done their previously – because then he would not have a chance to be in the spotlight? Because maybe someone would have stopped the madness and kept him from getting his 15 minutes along with his CNN mommy dearest and FBI daddy dearest? Because he is more important than those that lost their lives or were injured or those that were actually deal with the shooting and aftermath at the crime scene?

I still say there is something very fishy in the timing with those parents and students who were sooooooooo ready to take up the CNN banner. The police may have not had proper training in anything but how to wear stars on their collars and gain brownie points for promotions and appointments but it sure seems like the boy who knows nothing has had plenty of instruction so he and his friends were ready.

      • lateblum says:

I didn’t even know that until a moment ago. He and his classmates were in another building. It was a traumatic event for sure. But he isn’t as much a victim as he is a “person in a nearby building”.

        • taw46 says:

The day it happened, FNC/Tucker had some students on who were in the freshman building, who saw a student killed, who saw a teacher killed, who saw bodies on their way out. I know they were in shock, but they were so calm talking about the shooting. Completely different from him. He was on MSNBC right after it happened, but he was talking about gun control.

I know it was traumatic for anyone who was on campus that day, but it wasn’t the same experience for him. Yet he is the “survivor” who gets all the attention from the media.

  19. taw46 says:

    • taw46 says:

      • John Denney says:

Muskets were what the British carried. The Americans had rifles.
A musket barrel is smooth on the inside, and a musket ball flew like a knuckleball, wandering all over the place.
A rifle barrel is “rifled”, having spiral grooves that engage with the lead projectile and impart a high rate of spin, making a rifle far more accurate than a musket. At distances where a rifle could hit a man every time, a musket was lucky to hit the broad side of a barn.

Also, the 2nd Amendment says, “arms”, not firearms. That would include knives, swords, spears, crossbows, tomahawks, . . .

So we can keep and bear them, too, just like muskets and rifles, since they existed when the Constitution was written?

From Fox News: This month’s massacre in Parkland, Fla., seems like a key moment in the nation’s ongoing debate about the Second Amendment, former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said during a radio interview Friday.

“I think it is time to have a conversation about what the right to bear arms means in the modern world,” Rice told radio host Hugh Hewitt on Friday. “I don’t understand why civilians need to have access to military weapons. We wouldn’t say you can go out and buy a tank.”

She’s sounding positive and confident and that’s what she wants the people in the NRA to believe, her 5 million plus members. She wants them to think that she’s on their side but she’s not. She’s actually working with the gun manufacturers[.]

No, it is worse — Loesch is an arms dealer who actually sells guns.

[S]he’s showing that she doesn’t care about [NRA members]. She doesn’t care about police. She — why do you think she’s criticizing these people? It’s because she’s going after them and she wants her base to continue attacking them so she can sell more guns.
