This is what Obama left us with!

THE NEW AMERICA: Muslims take over a small southern town and force absolute hell on their terrified Christian neighbors

Obama’s plan to bring refugees in our country and spread them all over the nation has consequences. This is why Obama will go down as the WORST US President EVER!! Now, the residents of a small American town Shelbyville, Tennessee, can not sleep peacefully after Somalian migrants were dropped into their town overnight.

Or maybe Oprah is past her sell date.

      • Mt.Laurel says:

A friend was given tickets to a preview screening which was not all the well attended so I assume people had already heard it was bad. The script seemed based on some C level tween written book report that itself was based on reading the blip on the cover of the book and an online Cliff Notes like summary . I can only guess that Disney bought the rights to use the title to attract the built in audience.

The performances are even worse that the writing and that is saying something. Plus the whole thing screamed “we want win the Oscars for costumes, set design and effects” yet, to me, nothing stood out. I could not decide if it was because it was just too much, a rather dull color palette or because it looked like everything was recycled form a variety of other moves and turned into just one huge jumbled mess. The kids in the theater were restless. Heck the adults were restless. I had to take two breaks just to stay awake. I am sure the theater made out on concessions because even warmed or PC popcorn was more interesting. To bad daylight savings time did not hit mid showing so we could escape early through our very own wrinkle in time.

      • Anthony says:

That’s my suspicion. She’s not as saleable as she once was. She starting sinking in 08 when she ditched Hillary for obama and lost half her audience. Trash talking Trump may have finished her off

        • swanspirit says:

Also, a lot of people loved this book. When you really mess up something people already love, the are extra mad at you. I would rather go reread the book, than watch Okra flounce around in this movie.

          • Jadzia says:

I don’t believe, like many, that A Wrinkle in Time is unfilmable, especially with all the advances in film effects. Oprah seems like a pretty good choice to play Mrs. Which (assuming they didn’t embiggen her role so she takes over the movie), but based on the trailer, everybody else appears woefully miscast, especially Reese Witherspoon and the child actors. Unfortunately, it’ll be another 20 years before it’s time to try again, and by that time, who will even have heard of these wonderful books?

  20. taw46 says:

    More propaganda bs.

  21. Somebody says:

Just wanted to share with all of you what worked like magic to remove the lipstick art.

For anything that can go in the washer, BIZ was the bomb! I doubled or more what it called for and then did an extra rinse to make sure I got it all out… oh man, all gone not even a trace and the colors look just like they did before no fading at all.

We tried a variety of things on the carpet and box springs, some of which had limited effect. Hubby went to Home Depot and looked through their cleaning area and came home with Krud Kutter, cleaner and degreaser stain remover…..concentrated. We sprayed it with Krud Kutter and used our carpet cleaner on the carpet and upholstery attachment for the mattress and box springs. Krud Kutter lifted it right off, mattress and box springs are white again…..carpet color held fine, no changes except lipstick stains are gone.

The walls were no challenge, they were painted 2 years ago in an egg shell finish so I just had to wipe them off. I did use Zep foaming wall cleaner, which btw, does a great job in general cleaning your walls and baseboards.

I certainly would like to have the time back I’ve spent cleaning up her mess, but at least there was no permanent damage…….guess I don’t be re-decorating the guest room after all.

    • Ann says:

Clothes, carpet, mattress & box springs, walls!? Just how many tubes of lipstick did she go through?

And she either needs paint classes when she turns 5 or 6 or goes to school to become a make-up artist when she hits her teens. Yikes.

      • Somebody says:

There were 3 brand new tubes of lipstick and a colored bottle of lip gloss, the kind you unscrew with an applicator. There was also mineral foundation, powder, mineral blush and mineral eye shadow set. Thank heavens no eye liner or mascara. She only got into the lip sticks and a tiny bit into the eye shadow.

She LOVES to paint stuff, always has. She used to drive me nuts dumping out the dog water and ” painting” the floors with it. Twice she’s managed to open jelly jars out of my pantry, how I have no idea. But twice when she was younger she painted my cabinets and floor with jelly. Imagine my surprise when I turned around after loading the dishwasher🙄

She loves to finger paint. Any kind of painting really and she loves doing crafts and she’s good at it. I’ll never forget the little paper plate poinsettias and the snowy night scenes we did the 1st Christmas I had them. She was barely 1 and I swear to you she did a better job than her oldest sister who was 5 at the time.

So I guess you’re right she probably should go into arts and one day if I live long enough I may be regret cleaning all her messes because I could have hocked them on ebay😝

    • 1539days says:

Also a good reason to use semi-gloss paint.

    • cynic says:

Thanks for the tips. I’m printing them! With two granddaughters, this might come in handy. Didn’t know that Zep has a wall cleaner. I love their stainless steel cleaner.

      • Somebody says:

We stumbled across it at Home Depot months ago and bought some to have on hand.

The little one has twice colored on my walls with markers since I bought it. Both times I made her clean it. I sprayed the foam and she wiped…….a 3 year old. That’s how good this stuff is, no elbow grease required.

It ain’t easy being a woman-wanna-be. How many hair, skin & makeup products & appliances does it take to look glammed up? How much time to do all that primping? If you bring home a date you have to go to bed all made up & then get up two hours earlier than they do to redo the whole charade. You can’t run an errand without putting on your face first. You get bunions from pointy-toe heels. Your bra & panty hose feel like a tourniquet. You gotta sit with your legs pressed together. Sitting to pee takes a lot longer than whipping your junk out at the urinal. PMS cramps feel like a knife is rotating around in your hoo haw. Ah, being a gal is wonderful. Your whole worth is based on your looks. When you get older,a woman looks extinguished, while a silver-haired man looks distinguished and finding companionship, usually younger, is much easier.

      • Myiq2xu™ says:

A silver-haired man only looks distinguished if he has a phat bank account. Nobody ever said, “That Walmart greeter looks distinguished.”

        • Cisco says:

I remember in my younger days I’d meet a gal and one of the first questions was, ” what kind of car do you drive “?

That is actually one of the objections to trans that the deep radical femmes make; that they stereotype women, and/or women’s roles. I believe that is true. To me, most trans look like caricatures of women.

        • Constance says:

Very true they do look like caricatures of women but they blend right in with the images of women in the fashion and sex industry.

Here’s a bong rip thought: Who would have been the Dem nominee if Hillary had not run in 2016?

    Joe Biden?

    • elliesmom says:

      Elizabeth Warren

    • DandyTIger says:

I think both Mark Warner and McAuliff stood aside because Hillary was running. Don’t know if they missed their window because of it, but I think they both would have run otherwise.

    • Constance says:

Trump was a Democrat for years before he ran for President and he isn’t really a Republican, he is an opportunist who saw it would be easier for him to get the Republican nomination than the Democrat nomination in 2016, So maybe if Hillary didn’t run in 2016 Trump would have run and won as a Democrat.

      • Myiq2xu™ says:

Hassan says everyone has a vulnerability that people who want to exert undue influence can exploit. The Obama campaign figured it out as well, though he was not a overtly malevolent leader like Trump, probably because Obama was an aspirational figurehead and appeared to be uncomfortable with leading. To this day, you will still find Obama supporters who will not acknowledge any flaws. They will overlook any bad policy or decision (Obama was notoriously bad at making important decisions and was prone to psyching himself out and doing nothing). There’s no talking to them. Their fingers are firmly in their ears.

But Trump is in a completely different category. None of our previous presidents with the exception of maybe Nixon comes anywhere close to this degree of malevolent selfishness.

Yesterday, while I was getting out the vote for Conor Lamb, I called a couple people who declared their Republicanism regarding the Lamb-Saccone race. This was unusual because I was supposed to be speaking with only Democrats. This close to the election, I can’t afford to spend a lot of time trying to persuade these voters. I have a call list of thousands of Democrats I’m trying to get a commitment from and let them know where their polling place is.

But what I found yesterday was that many of these callers sounded like elderly men and women and who wanted to talk. I try to be polite and told one guy that being a Republican these days is “serious business with a lot of responsibility”. But I’m not pushing or persuading these voters. I just don’t have time. Nevertheless, I suspect that many elderly PA 18 Democrats who vote Republican are starting to question their affiliations and that’s a good thing. It might not help this election, but if there are any additional free elections down the road, spending time on the phone and listening to them might be a good idea.

Push notices on the weekend are uncommon and usually for: blizzard warnings, mass power outages, murders in the suburbs (they do not bother with numerous shootings and stabbings in DC proper), and of course the Redskins score and fawning over the evil sisters of bat shit crazy dictators. you get the picture.

But this weekend I had two push notices from the local NBC affiliate late last night (Saturday) and another early this morning (Sunday) just to say that the quivering snowflake known as Sleepy was considering how to respond. Not an actual response – but that Sleepy was just considering what he should say. It seems they need to make room for another beta male on the cover of that Hollywood magazine.
