Not going to read it, but are they saying Trump hired people who were more COMPETENT at their job than killary did?

      • DeniseVB says:

My first thought too. Hillary spent over a billion, dug up fake dirt and still lost. Kinda how she ran State. Politicking is all about data gathering and trends too.

        • Constance says:

IMO Hillary colluded with the Russians to make a fake dossier to use against Trump in the media and FISA court. As well as blowing a billion dollars in media bribes, I mean buys.

If you dig up the stories about CA around the election, the story was that Bannon brought Trump money from the Mercer family after he got the nomination. Before that, Rebekah Mercer was supporting Ted Cruz. Both candidates were convinced to hire CA by Mercer. Those stories were about an analytics company that was terrible at their job and wasted a lot of candidate money. Eventually, Trump ignored their data and hired his own technology guy.

And yes, they are already trying to connect this to Russia/

        • mothy2017 says:

Seems to me that Trump followed his gut. Didn’t tailor his message to the polls which is why he won. They seem to forget hillary 2008 was not hillary 2016. How much support did she lose. I think computer models are useful, but they should be one of many tools. I have seen the same thing happen with doctors who rely solely on computer for diagnostics.

That’s worse than Obama using government to elect Hillary. SMFH.

I think someone here enjoys Banksy, but I can’t remember who. Denise? Anyway, here are two more murals to enjoy.

More Banksy art spotted in NYC

More of Banksy’s protest art has reportedly been spotted, this time in Brooklyn.

Two murals that mirror the elusive British graffiti artist’s style and anti-capitalist message were seen Friday on a site slated for redevelopment in Midwood.

    • SHV says:

Al and her mother are in NYC for the NYC Half Marathon. They were walking around Friday AM and saw a crowd looking at an abandoned building. It was a Bansky…the rat on the clock.

have any of you ever gotten a message on your tv screen, wanting you to allow a laptop to connect to it? It will not allow me to deny access. Damn has it gotten to the point where you can not even watch tv in peace?

I’d be really interested in everybody’s thoughts on where we are all headed??? In this next year?

    • lyn says:

I’m holding onto the Trump Train for dear life.

    • SHV says:

We are headed toward a political/legal fight to the death. Traditionally, with a change of administrations, the financial/gov’t corruption of the outgoing group was ignored. The “Resistance” has changed the game and that, combined with a “Honey Badger” in the White House, ????….there will be sparing until the results of 2018 election are known then it’s either an impeachment show in the Dem. HR or massive Trump purge of DOJ, FBI, CIA, etc.
Summary of what is known about the “soft coup”:

    • Constance says:

The Progressives lust for power and they won’t ever quit trying to gain control and manipulate the vapid voters even though they have no plans for our country. They will try to tear down Trump and any future Republican with every means possible and especially with their Obama era weaponized IRS, CIA and FBI. It will be a fight to the death. Trump knows what he is dealing with and has dealt with it his whole life. I think he enjoys dealing with Progressives. I also think Trump is tearing down Progressive structure as fast as he can and I think Sessions is helping with that. I support Trump more every passing day. I do not consider myself a Republican.

      • Somebody says:

Trump isn’t a traditional republican, nor is he a democrat. Although he has tendencies in both directions.

His brash personality alienates some, they simply can’t see past it. It can be off putting at times, but he wouldn’t have won, nor could he govern without it. He’s fighting both parties simultaneously.

    • John Denney says:

Life is a chaotic grand adventure, and one never quite knows what may come next, so it’s best to be like a Boy Scout and develop lots of useful skills, chief among which is recognizing and loving the truth.
To the degree you don’t know the truth, you’re out of touch with reality.

Another one, after Rotherham. Just sickening that this was allowed to happen. I think I have lost all hope that England will survive, especially after reading this article. Many of us were unaware what had been happening there since the late 60’s. Doesn’t look like anyone has the will or the power to stop it. How did the people allow their freedom of speech to be taken away?

Shit like this makes me wonder about Parkland and Vegas.

      • Constance says:

I still believe Vegas was an attempted hit on the Saudi Prince who has recently taken over, by his relatives who didn’t get control of the country. Shots were fired into the crowd as a distraction and cover for what was going down. Those innocent people were sacrifices for some political operation that was going down. Maybe the CIA was involved. The guy they framed was a sucker and scapegoat not the perp.

I maintain Cohen paid Stormy $130k October 2016 to NOT LIE.
We know Lisa Bloom & Media Matters were offering to pay women who had ever even bern in the same room as Trump to publicly ‘accuse him of sexual assaults, etc. One woman says she was offered $100k but couldn’t go through with it.
Stormy was too & gave Trump (through Cohen) an opportunity to raise the bid.

  31. Dora says:

Obama’s presidency will go down as the most corrupt and divisive administration in American history.

In 2014, the Obama administration promulgated a “guidance” to America’s public schools that threatened federal investigations and litigation against schools where black students are disciplined (e.g., by suspension) more often, on a pro rata basis, than white students, on the ground that such numerical discrepancy is evidence of discrimination. Many schools responded by adopting discipline quotas, which meant in practice that after a certain number of students of a particular race had been suspended, teachers and administrators were helpless to enforce any kind of discipline in classrooms.

Just in time for breakfast. Yum. Yum.

    • John Denney says:

One can also add one or more flavorings to the water: a little soy sauce, brown sugar, crushed red pepper, garlic, thyme, . . .

Baking works really well, too, and is easy. 300 degrees for 15 minutes or so.
