I don’t even pay attention to the latest outrage anymore. The hair on fire crowd has simply worn me out.

    • DeniseVB says:

That’s what I use as my excuse for leaving the Dems, it just got too exhausting being angry, outraged and hating everyone who didn’t agree with me. My conservative husband was extremely tolerant, always patting me on the head saying it’s the reason we go to war, so idiots like you continue to have the right to say stupid stuff.

Since I like political rallies, the Tea Party became my gateway drug to conservatism. I hope they pick up again. It was a totally organic, grassroots movement that drew hundreds/thousands in towns across America. Until FreedomWorks hijacked it to make money, but when the Obama IRS cracked down, they were nowhere to be found to defend the mom and pop organizers at their kitchen tables trying to raise money to pay for rally fees and permits.

That old Tea Party spirit elected Trump 🙂

I wonder if he has armed bodyguards yet. He won’t mind a bit more hypocrisy, what with so much bs he’s flinging.

    • DandyTIger says:

I love how they don’t even pretend to be against school shootings or gun violence itself. Because that would involve dealing with the failures of gov. at every level, gun safety, security, illegal guns in gangs, gangs themselves, etc. You know, where almost all non suicide gun violence happens. And of course suicide issues themselves. Nope, they’re against gun ownership, the NRA, and conservatives in general. IOW, it’s a Dem and Dem organizations driven event, using stupid kids.

Once the left is done using you Hogglet, you’ll be tossed on the side of the road.

I’ve been watching a Hitler (the early days) documentary.
Anyway, is Camera Hogg at all charismatic like he was?

    • elliesmom says:

In the “no good deed ever goes unpunished” world, I’ve been nursing a cold left behind by Crash all week. Elliesdad was going stir crazy so I grabbed a stack of Kleenex and took him grocery shopping and out to lunch. I came back home and checked in “at the hole”. I saw on the last thread that Attention Hogg has been rejected by colleges. According to his Twitter feed he’s up to 3 rejections. Instead of rallying against guns, he should have turned a clock into a fake bomb. Then he’d be headed to MIT.

      • Underwhelmed says:

LOL! He really is a grossly offensive and disturbing little shit. And like clockwork the lemmings who fell for Obama are wetting themselves over this little pissant.

      It’s Freaky Fascist Day!

    • jenlyntx says:

Hitler would be proud. And this from a group of porn watching, name calling, abortion loving, muslim ass kissing, jerks. Ask them 100 easy questions about history and watch them fail. If ignorance was fatal….most of these people would be dead. SAD. and VERY VERY SCARY. Dangerous dangerous times people. Freedom is hanging on by a thread only enforced by our guns–don’t ever forget that.

  6. helenk3 says:

    random thought
young teenage girls can get an abortion without parents permission. Yet they want to raise the age to buy a gun to 21. Both are used in decisions by a person to kill why an age limit on one but not the other.

  7. helenk3 says:

I just started reading a book by an author I think you would like.
Lorenzo Caraterra. he writes crime fiction. His books are long but really interesting. Right now I am reading Apaches. I already read Gangster. I have plans to read his other books too

    • Cisco says:

      On my bucket list.
Someone once said, “so many books, so little time.”
Being retired now I have the time.
      Quick story.
The High School I attended provided on a class schedule the option of a study period or going to the school library instead.
I discovered the library in my freshman year and never went to study hall the entire 4 years.

      • helenk3 says:

I made it a point to take my kids to the library when they were young and learning to read. They got their library card and to this day love to read. Reading opens the world and takes you places beyond your little corner of it.

    • helenk3 says:

I just ordered 3 more books by him. He is as good as if not better than Mario Puzo

this was on facebook . think about it.
I have to admit I was angry when I heard about trump signing the Omnibus bill. Then I calmed down and started reading posts and doing some research. I first want to point out Trump vs. palm beach and his 50 ft. flag pole. Flag poles were to be no taller than 30 feet. Trump wanted it to stand 50 ft. tall. So he fought and fought. Then he built a 20 ft. hill and put a 30 ft. flag pole. So the flag flies 50 feet in the air. So here is how things work.
On the basis of the Constitution and traditional legislative prerogatives, Congress lays claim to exclusive control over the purse. Nevertheless, while it is up to Congress
to appropriate funds, it is also true that the President and the executive branch enjoy considerable discretion as to how those funds are spent.
So President Trump could certainly slow walk sending funds to unwanted areas in return for getting things he wants. Just a thought…Stay positive.

An amendment was offered by Republican Reps. Steven Palazzo and Trent Kelly from Mississippi (which has coastline but no land border) to strike Section 1039. That means Pentagon money could be spent to construct a border wall. In the normal process of things, this amendment would have been accepted by the Rules Committee and then debated and voted on by the full House of Representatives. But nothing about this amendment can be called normal.

The Rules Committee took this one amendment and labeled it, “proposed to be adopted.” In the arcana of House rules, this means that voting for the rule governing consideration of the bill was also voting for this amendment. This is known as a “self-executing rule.” The ranking Democrat on the committee, Rep. Louise Slaughter of New York, offered an amendment to strike the self-executing portion of the rule and was defeated in committee on a party-line vote of 4-8.

On the House floor, the vote on the full rule passed. And at the end of a long and exhausting day (and story), that means Pentagon money can be used to construct a border wall. Talk about governing under the cover of darkness.

John Cole would call 911 like a big silly baby if Antifa was at his door. They are ALL brainless hypocrites. Just like in the movie every time a bell rings or a Dingdong calls for restrictions on gun ownership another gun sells and our side gets another vote. MAGA forever!

Text of a Letter from the President to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President of the Senate

      Budget & Spending

      Issued on: March 23, 2018

Dear Mr. Speaker: (Dear Mr. President:)

In accordance with section 7058(d) of division K of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2018 (H.R. 1625; the “Act”), I hereby designate as an emergency requirement all funding so designated by the Congress in the Act pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, for the accounts referenced in section 7058(d).

The details of this action are set forth in the enclosed memorandum from the Director of the Office of Management and Budget.

    • Constance says:

Still it’s good to remember stupid people can vote and stupid is apparently Gods favorite model when creating humans. First I think it would be good to capitalize on the Libs fear of Russian election meddling and have a return to only paper ballots picked up, marked and deposited in ballot boxes on election day only and only after showing proper registration and ID. Stupid people are often too stupid to find their polling place during voting hours so many would opt out.
But Republicans need to have a youth appeal and their own social function/revival meeting. It needs to be significant enough that today’s kids will talk about it nostalgically as they age and consider it a right of passage for their kids. I think the march with chants is a good idea. Because it expends a lot of energy it has the primal effect of making youth feel like they have just accomplished something great. The only cause I can come up with is “don’t dump your government debt on us/get off our backs!” But definitely other topics should be brainstormed and tested on the target group. If Republicans want power they need to cultivate legal voters using tried and true methods used by religions and Democrats to recruit.

Piggly Wiggly and his posse are the bullies. It is evident in everything they do and say. That is why they have been selected as “The Chosen” to spread the one world message. Parkland was just the advantageous point to up their profiles. Never let a crisis go to waste and invent one if need be.

      • elliesmom says:

The “invent one” is what has me concerned. Even a small town cop wouldn’t let kids die if there was anything he or she could do, and those sheriffs got a lot more training than someone working for a town of less than 10,000 gets. The cops in my town risk their lives to save a puppy.

Obama’s message to marchers: ‘You’re leading us forward’
    Sat March 24, 2018

“Michelle and I are so inspired by all the young people who made today’s marches happen,” the tweet said. “Keep at it. You’re leading us forward. Nothing can stand in the way of millions of voices calling for change.”

  33. Dora says:

    What Is John Brennan Hiding?

Former CIA Director John Brennan has become the sleaziest man on cable news — and that, my friends, is saying something. He continually peddles wholly unsubstantiated horror stories about the president of the United States, stories which the insanely anti-Trump press is only too happy to echo and magnify. It’s time to wonder just what this guy is trying to accomplish and why.

Let’s begin with a couple of cases in point.

Folks, the bill was a stinker, no wall, planned abortion, PBS and other distasteful parts in it.
But our brave warriors and veterans have been neglected for so long it borders on a travesty.
I really don’t know why people enlist. If I was of age to serve in this era, I wouldn’t.
I would still love my country as much as I did in 67′ when I enlisted, by why do it today without the tools to fight?
Well, anyway, I’m glad President Trump signed if for nothing else to rebuild and restore morale to our men and women in uniform.

  37. Dora says:

I bet you didn’t hear about this.
