Monday Wishin’ and a Hopin’

Stimulants like cocaine and meth cause dilation of the pupils.

This is your brain on Democrat Koolaid:

Stormy refuses to say if she has destroyed all of the evidence. So there’s more to come.

But it really isn’t about the sex, it’s about the thuggish behavior. And THAT seems totally believable.

The thing about being in the White House and being president that is different than being a private citizen is there is a different expectation of privacy and accountability. For a guy who is used to paying people off, stiffing contractors, going bankrupt multiple times and having his staff sign NDA’s, all without consequence, that must be supremely irritating to him.

Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal could open the flood gates to all kinds of nasty things that The Donald has done in his lifetime. We already know there are more women lined up who say they were threatened. There must be servants and valets and limo drivers and contractors and secretaries and business partners and executive Vice Presidents and even wives who could just say, “what the hell, why not just get it all out there. He’ll spend the rest of his life playing whack-a-mole trying to shut everyone up again”.

You can only treat people badly for so long before it all starts to catch up with you.

You know, we liberals might as well just get it all out there too. We DON’T like Donald Trump and we DO want to get him out of office as quickly as possible. But when Republicans accuse us of that, they think it’s some kind of tribal thing. Or revenge for what the right did to Bill Clinton.

What the right did to Bill Clinton back in the 90s started out as a way to keep him completely consumed with lawsuits throughout his terms. Monica Lewinsky was discovered in 1998. But he’d already had 5 years of nuisance investigations over Whitewater, Vince Foster, and Hillary’s billing records before then. They all came do nothing but we know why the right did it. They pretty much spelled it out. They wanted to derail his presidency because people like Newt Gingrich were authoritarian assholes. It was petty and mean and cost everyone in the White House a fortune in legal fees. The right was delighted with jamming the works even if it meant shutting down government for a couple of weeks. It was all about spite and fury at losing the White House, not because Clinton was a bad president.

There’s quite a lot of projection here from the right. They’re assuming that we have the same motives. They think it’s spite and that Hillary deserved the White House. And while there is an element of the latter, the former is not true at all.

The reason we want him out is because he runs the Trump Crime Family. His business is rotten to the core, his family is enriching itself and they have a history of thuggish behavior and hiding behind payoffs and secret agreements. I even have a new view of Ivanka these days. She’s very good at image maintenance but it’s starting to slip. Now I understand her role as Trump’s right hand. She’s just as ruthless and unscrupulous as he is. She’s just got better taste in clothes.

It’s not that we hate them. It’s that they are fundamentally bad for the country. They’re a mistake, a fluke. We’re not trying to interfere with Trump’s agenda. It’s worse than that because he never had an agenda. He has no idea how to run a government like ours. It’s a HUGE responsibility. We are a superpower. We have an obligation due to our military strength and economy to not f#%* up. Trump doesn’t care about that. He’s running the country like the Corleones would.

I’m sorry, did any of us agree to that??

That’s what this Stormy Daniels thing is all about. She’s uncovering what it’s like to be a small, insignificant person under Trump’s thumb.

Imagine what it must be like for Qatar, Puerto Rico or Lithuania.

Have a smoke and ponder that post-coital thought, Trump voters. You guys wanted to have sex with him but the rest of us were forced.

We’ll have to put her on suicide watch when Trump is reelected.

Her parents must be so proud.

I dunno. She’s kinda cute, but that thing hanging from her belt makes me nervous.

        Me too.
But I could deal with her four requests, especially the last one.
        Ok, I know, I’m a 🐷

I don’t think that’s a photo from a recent march, they’re in their warm weather marchin’ uniforms. Unless it’s Florida or Hawaii. In Miami’s South Beach, that’s typical daytime wear 😉

I clicked the link *RD Warning*. It’s not the crime it’s the coverup? Maybe with a spouse, but this is not Nixonian Clintonista, not even close. They lied to the American People !

He jumped on his bike and rode the 3 miles to the school to get all of the video he could. In his own words.

    • Mt.Laurel says:

I guess the classmates that were actually there and seeking places to hide outed him. No more claiming he was taping things live while hiding in a closet.

I noticed it also points out what I have always suspected. He and his gang did not really know or care about the real victims. Snotzi Hogg’s little BFF Bald Beard already let it slip that they bullied the shooter.

      • Miranda says:

That raises ALL KINDS of questions. If he could ride 3 miles on a bike, he wasn’t sick. So, why was he out that particular day?

        • lyn says:

He didn’t want to get shot?

        • lateblum says:

Maybe those tweets that said he graduated from a school in Ca were true. Maybe he doesn’t attend that school after all. Perhaps he’s an errant student and only attends school when he “feels” like it. Thus, not accepted at college. Maybe what lyn said.

There were other students from the California school saying the same thing.

      • DeniseVB says:

From day one. I did read his twitter timeline, up to the shooting he did have a normal kid’s twitter feed. I got the feeling his parents were divorced since he was spending summers in California. The lifeguard news video was debunked when he and an local L.A. reporter set up a heavily edited version of the lifeguard dressing down his friend “for no reason at all”. Seems they didn’t catch the part of the friend telling the lifeguard to f**k off when the guard asked him to remove his body board from the top of a trashcan.

😀 These people are obsessed with guns and gun owners.

      • Mt.Laurel says:

I believe Sigmund would call this a manifestation of penis envy.

        • Cisco says:

I think Sigmund also said ” sometimes a cigar is only a cigar”
Same with guns. They are only guns.

          • Myiq2xu™ says:

When you have to carry one every day they are a pain in the ass. Like having a kid. You can’t just leave them in the car. They ruin your clothes. You get in trouble if you forget about them. There are some places you can’t take them.

    • 1539days says:

The reason why those who know guns know more is because those terms are made up. All these people want to confiscate all guns and repeal the Second Amendment. Since that failed, they’re going to raise the age, the cost and limit the selection until only 90 year olds can buy a single six shooter and bullets are $100 a piece.

Who is the singer who hates Trump and kept tweeting to/about him? Trump never responded to him either. Didn’t give him any attention. Just like he does with Stormy. Why would he?

😀 Maybe they are nothing to Trump. What’s up with the Democrat obsession of Trump and sex? I thought Dems liked sex.

        • Venus E. Lee says:

Hey Anthony — believe it or not, I’m still thinking about The Assassination of Gianni Versace — which proves it was powerful, although I still can’t ‘like’ it,as it was just all too disturbing for me.
Anyway, I figured out my major problem with it — the forced use of Versace as a foil for Cunanan. The implication was that if Cunanan, smart, talented, gay, had a different childhood, been taught to find his passion, work hard, etc. he could have been a success like Versace. Instead, because of his difficult childhood, weirdo parents, he became a killer, and ‘assassinated’ the person he wanted to be (Versace).
Bullshit — Cunanan appears to have had a fucked up childhood, but he was also, obviously, a psychopath — that is genetic, not taught. Sure he target those he thought ‘wronged’ him in some way, but no amount of love in his childhood would have stopped him from eventually snapping — only the targets of his wrath may have changed.

          • Anthony says:

Hey Venus – I’m still thinking about it too. So much so that I’m including his case in the genomics/behavior section of my paper for my final exam. He inherited his sociopathic tendencies from his father (if you believe in genomics lol). His father’s mentoring only reinforced that behavior, thus adding supportive connectomes, (which are responses to rewards/punishment that alter or nuance the inherited genomic behavioral tendencies) and transforming him into a sociopath on steroids. Had he been nurtured in a way that reinforced him to suppress his inherited impulses rather than reinforce them, he would have produced connectomes that minimized that tendency, and neutralized/altered the strength of that genome. Enough about that…

I’m on the fence about Versace being used as a foil. Instead, I’m looking at the larger picture. Each of his victims represented qualities he found lacking in his own personality. Miglin was a celebrated philanthropist, Jeffrey Trail was courageous and honorable, David Madsen was openly gay and an up and coming star in architectural design despite the stigma of being gay (and also Trail’s lover), and Versace was famous for his talent and later, for being an icon in the gay community after giving his interview to The Advocate. All of these men represented a public image Cunanan desperately wanted for himself, but in their cases, they got there by actually developing skills and talent while Cunanan’s only skill was the ability to con people into believing he was someone he wasn’t; a talent inherited from and nurtured by his father.

At this time, I’m musing if Cunanan killed himself by proxy by murdering the people who possessed what he coveted and didn’t have the wherewithal to develop in himself? Or did he symbolically kill his father, who nurtured the con man archetype within him?

Finally, I totally agree with you. Many people have early life experiences that are as fucked up as Cunanan’s but most of them don’t decide to go on a serial killing spree.

            Hey Angie and Anthony,
Because of your ongoing intelligent dialogue, I have decided to watch this series. You two make my curiosity and training kick in bigly. Thanks.
I’m not certain if I’m being facetious or genuine right now. I saw the first episode and wanted nothing more to do with this program. I’ll have to get back to you after March Madness is over and my television viewing can return to some semblance of normalcy.

This link was in an article I was reading. I have seen parts of this elsewhere but this sums up some of the background on organization and funding for the Kiddie Gun Crusade:

And yes, having had to file documentation on more than one occasion to create a 501(c) 3, even though they went hide the money c(c) 4, how did they get it through so quickly? It took less time when I did it here in swampland because I could walk a lot of the steps literally – but still – even for a very simply organization the response form the IRS generally takes at least 2 months and most take longer. Or had someone already submitted and been approved and they just changed the name to protect the guilty?
