    Awww, feel better myiq.

Give her a break. Open a can of soup for yourself and leave her alone. She knows stuff about you you’d rather doesn’t get out, right? Well, treat her nice. Or else!

She has naked pictures of me. (Apparently people used to think that pics of naked babies were “cute” instead of being exploitive child porn.)

Crash shared her germs with me when she was here last week. The cold is miserable, but it hasn’t put me horizontal. Feel better.

    • Somebody says:

Order some colostrum online and boost your immunity. You can’t get human, but there is plenty of bovine colostrum and actual medical studies it helps speed recovery.

I ordered some to give the puppy to help her recover from the spider bites. I intended to apply it in a paste to the wound, but the vet balked at that idea. Even though there are plenty of veterinary and human studies on its use and they even make colostrum bandages they use on soldiers because it speeds healing.

As for its use with a cold, my daughter got sick the Friday going into spring break. She woke up all stuffed up, sore throat, chills and miserable in general. She was so bummed. I asked her if she wanted to try the colostrum since I had it on hand due to the puppy. She said she’d try anything. She took it that afternoon, twice on Saturday and Sunday and 1 dose on Monday morning. She only had the slightest symptoms on Monday so opted not to take any in the afternoon. Tuesday she was right as rain.

It could have just been the bug she had. However her immune system never fully came back after chemo, so usually when she gets something it drags on and on. I get over stuff quicker than she does. Seeing her bounce back so quick made enough of a believer out of me to spend $14.95 to have another back on hand.

Just thought I’d throw this out there. It was something I stumbled upon researching for things to help the puppy.

      • Somebody says:

Bag on hand not back, stupid autocorrect.

      • lyn says:

I use this colostrum (see link), but I give my cats the Surthrival brand.

        • Somebody says:

Thanks for the link Lyn, that is the brand I bought for the puppy. I got the tiny bag and paid $14.95, I see I can get it through your link for a dollar less. Of course I have 2 bags right now, but if I order more I’ll go straight to the source.

I looked at other brands, but I got this one because of all the certifications and testing. I have no idea if a dog can get mad cow disease, but I didn’t want to find out the hard way. So I picked one I would take myself.

If you don’t mind me asking what do you take it for?? I’ve seen so many studies for so many uses from immune boosting to anti-aging to arthritis, also digestive issues and wound healing…….like a little miracle bag, LOL!

I honestly was impressed with how quickly my daughter recovered. As for the puppy she’s slowly healing, but all the necrotic skin still hasn’t come off it is really SLOW going. Every couple of days I swear I’m just going to make up a paste of this colostrum and apply it. If it promotes rapid healing I’ll just shrug my shoulders at the vet and tell him it must be his tender loving care. I’m generally not one to go against medical advice, but I just want the puppy to be all better. I finally took her e-collar off, poor thing had it on non-stop for 7 weeks between being spayed and the spider bite. The vet said if I’d put an outfit on her to cover it and keep her from biting it she could lose the collar. Dress my puppy up?? No problem, LOL! Hubby detests clothes on dogs, but even he was on board so her e-collar could come off.

By the by, speaking of e-collars. I strongly suggest everyone with a pet invest in an inflatable collar they are sooooo much better than a standard cone of shame e-collar. They don’t work for everything like hind leg or tail injuries, but for most injuries or surgeries they do and they are so much more comfortable and so much easier to get around in.

          • lyn says:

You can buy it at amazon too. I bought my last bag via amazon subscribe and saved $15.

          • lyn says:

I take it for immune boosting. I give it to my cats every morning. The Surthrival brand is the tastiest. It is expensive, but I’m hooked.

Well that’s got to trigger more school shooters. This happens every time a nutjob gets wall-to-wall media coverage. Cruz is a sympathetic figure too. Basically an orphan with mental issues that the school, city and state ignored. He’s only alive because he didn’t resist arrest. The Obama/Holder “promise plan” made sure the young and “disturbed” didn’t have records……which enabled him him skip the background check flags. He should have never been sold a gun.

  15. taw46 says:

TripAdvisor pulled their ads from Ingraham’s show. Said she crossed the “line of decency”. Funny that, they don’t think Hogg and others have crossed the “line of decency” with their outrageous remarks. 🤔

  16. John Denney says:

The left is all about government control of others, not themselves.
Americans, in the truest sense of the word, love Liberty. The Declaration of Independence was all about Liberty. The Preamble to the Constitution speaks of, “securing the blessings of Liberty”.
Is Patrick Henry’s impassioned, “Give me Liberty, or give me death!” no longer taught in school?

With that background, yet another instance of controlling others:

Her guards most certainly do have semi-automatic weapons. They aren’t protecting her with revolvers and bolt action weapons. She is stupid.

Idiot bitch. 99% of legal gun owners aren’t killing children with their weapons. Putting more restrictions on legal gun owners won’t deter criminals since they don’t feel bound by laws.

        Will Hogglet apologize to her?

        • taw46 says:

She was a fool to apologize. The comments about her on twitter are even worse than before the apology. Not to mention that Hogg and his buddies just got a tremendous boost to their ego. No stopping them now.

        • lateblum says:

Hogglet won’t apologize to anyone – including his own “old ass parents”, as he said. This is what winning looks like to him and others like him. You know, the crowd who are so entitled that they criticize and name call, and blame, shame, and bully people they don’t like or agree with. They are narcissistic and borderline. Don’t give them any information because they will use it against you when it suits their purposes. They see your compassion or honesty as weakness and will strike out when they think they can cause hurt, embarrassment or shame.

      • Mt.Laurel says:

But dear Laura that 4.1 GPA is based on a scale of 5 (my high school used scale of 6, 93 percent was the low point for As). That is not bad – but not all that. Its a B average. I think the scale is getting lost in translation and a lot of people are thinking he is a straight A with lots of extra credit for AP classes. Not to belittle – but that average track record would not stand out at most places especially if most of his classes were soft (e.g. journalism ).

Why did he even bring up that the schools he wanted to attend turned him down – other had accepted him. Most people do get turned down by some especially since these kids now apply to a dozen or more places and are encouraged to apply to a few that are “reaches”. Having made this part of his shtick indicates to me that he did not have a strong application last fall and thought he could shame at least one of the schools into changing their decision or get an offer from another he wants.

        • Somebody says:

Florida has a 5.0 scale. Honors, AP and dual enrollment classes get extra weight. It could be that he just didn’t take that many honors classes. Maybe he didn’t get accepted into many AP classes, seating for those is usually quite limited, although it’s a large school so maybe not. Maybe he didn’t score high enough on the placement test for dual enrollment classes? It could just something to do with transferring from CA.

I don’t think his GPA is what is holding him back though, I think it’s his SAT. His score isn’t even high enough for the FL bright futures. He needs to raise it 20 points. He’s a fool not to retake it or perhaps try the ACT. STEM type students usually do better on the ACT. Liberal arts, English majors, etc., tend to score better on the ACT.

  21. John Denney says:

Cold-Eeze greatly reduces the severity and duration of a cold by inhibiting the replication of the virus.
Take one every two hours at the first symptoms.
I woke up one Wednesday morning with a scratchy throat and started taking them. By evening I was miserable with full blown runny nose, vague body aches, and sluggishness. Half a cup of Jack Daniels helped. Woke continuously during the night because of stuffy, runny nose, but continued with the Cold-Eeze every two hours. By morning I felt better, and after an hour’s nap in the evening all symptoms were completely gone and off I went for my usual Thursday night karaoke and my voice was as good as ever. 🙂

    • lateblum says:

What a great way to relieve a cold… Jack Daniels and Cold-Eeze.
You should send your testimonial to them both. 😉

    • Constance says:

I also like the Jack Daniels cold medicine. And remember it is a clear liquid so if you ever get put on a clear liquid diet (colonoscopy) alcohol is definitely a good call.

There’s this stuff called “Oscillo” that’s carried at Walgreens. One time I had just started to come down with a fever and it cleared it up overnight. I looked into it and found that it has some very small amount of duck liver in it, so that sounds like bullshit. I’ve tried to use it subsequently after the flu like symptoms or cold symptoms had developed fully and I didn’t notice any improvement, so I don’t know, but I’m just throwing that out there as something to try. Plus, the medium used to contain the active ingredient(s) is a sugar pill so it tastes like candy anyway.

It’s what I’ve called him all along. He’s a bully. He figures he can call adults names because we’re adults, we won’t fight back in the same way. See how he treated Dana Loesch, Senator Rubio, Laura Ingraham. When Ingraham said something directed at him, he fought the way he was taught … To hit her in the pocketbook. He’s neither silly nor stupid. He is mean and cruel and even dangerous. It wouldn’t surprise me if he were one of those who bullied Cruz and anyone else who didn’t conform with his way of thinking. It also wouldn’t surprise me if he had been the victim of bullying and now that he has the mic, he is being the supreme bully.
