    Is Spring finally here? 😀

      😀

    • elliesmom says:

No, we skipped spring this year and went straight to summer.

      • Ann says:

Gotta love a northern “spring”. Or not.

        • elliesmom says:

I started out today in long pants and a wool sweater. Came home from taking Elliesdad for a colonoscopy and changed into shorts and a tee. It was over 90 degrees. If I hadn’t been tired, I’d have gone out and unwrapped the air conditioning unit. Maybe tomorrow.

          • lateblum says:

Saturday night I took the g-babies into the city to see a magical light display in the outdoor parking lot of Soldier Field. We were wearing our warmest winter coats, hats, scarves and mittens. It was that cold. Since Monday it has been in the 80s with severe summer-like rain storms and tornado-like damaging winds.
Yesterday I had to buy new sandals, take out the storm window and put up the screens. Then i had to close all the windows because the storms last night were so fierce.
            Spring? What’s that?

          • cynic says:

I was thinking the same thing. I knocked the ice off the bird bath earlier this week, and yesterday was so darn hot, I couldn’t take being out in it. What happened to our 60’s, low 70’s? One a.m. it’s 29, and yesterday it was 90! yeesh

“President Donald Trump has called himself a “very stable genius” — but a group of esteemed mental health professionals apparently don’t agree.

A group of psychiatrists and psychologists gathered Tuesday for a panel discussion titled “The Increasingly Dangerous Case of Donald Trump,”

    https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/top-psychiatrists-gather-warn-donald-204209922.html

Sure enough Bandy Lee, MD is included as an “esteemed mental health professional”…Back in Jan., this esteemed professional’s license had “expired” three years ago and was “pending” renewal….looked her up again, now listed as “inactive”…. but well qualified to diagnose PT as crazy and dangerous.

Some juicy Royal Gossip. Megan’s big brother wants Harry to call off the wedding, it will be the biggest mistake of his life.

    • Venus E. Lee says:

I said the same things months ago.

Hope he has a good pre-nup.

    • Dora says:

I guess the plans were going too smoothly. They needed a bump in the road.

BTW, I agree with the brother.

      • Lulu says:

Their problem with her is that she basically bankrupted their father to get her Hollyweird career going and never paid him back even partially. She will try that will Harry too but he has no income! He gets an allowance from the crown-or grandma. He owns NOTHING. And he has to do stuff to get his pittance. Like tacky public appearances for charities and at schools, etc. They are going to live in one of grandma’s palaces (Kensington), get an allowance from grandma’s mad money, use grandma’s chapel for the wedding, and get to use one of the corridors (not a dining room or state room) of Windsor castle (her house too!) with the rest blocked off from the “guests”. She thinks she is Diana II. But she is not the daughter of a Duke nor a virgin teenager needed to produce an heir and a spare. She is much more similar to Wallace Simpson but not as smart or mean but probably as accumulative in pretty things.

        • lateblum says:

I honestly cannot foresee this couple lasting long-term. She will have the attention of the nation, but cannot have money of her own, or the ability to produce her own fortunes. Her time will likely belong to her and will be enslaved (did I really say that?) to the House of Windsor.
But, as Yezee said, she’s making a “choice”.

          • Lulu says:

Yep. I don’t think it is going to be as dreamy or luxe as she thinks. A lot of the lesser royals stuff is pretty tacky. Prince of Wales Charles and back up William get a LOT more because they are heirs. And Kensington (where they will live in London) is a bunch of townhouses all scrunched up in very old, kind of rotten, buildings. This is not a “palace” even though it is called that. It is more like a sub-divided really big mansion. It has “humidity” (mushrooms will grow in the lower floors if they don’t watch it) and it is about a mile from the river. But it is free and that is what all the royals who are not the queen are about. QEII has spoiled the “boys” a bit because their mom died and their father is a shit. Did you read that Fergie is not allowed in Phillip’s presence because he thinks she is such a déclassé whore. LOL.

          • lateblum says:

I had not read that about Fergie – that he thinks she is such a ho. Funny that. Wasn’t he sleeping w Camilla the entire time he was married to Princess Di? I guess that makes it okay. He was just slumming with the Princess, I guess.

    • Lulu says:

Appropos of nothing, Megs and Harry have the exact same nose. I’ve compared photos and it is very strange. The nasal ridge dips in exactly the same way on both of their noses!

        • Lulu says:

I worked with a woman like this many, many years ago. Everyday she asked the same question on what to do with the same tasks. Every fucking day. I was pretty new and didn’t know she did this to get out of doing EVERYTHING! So I typed up a book of instructions of what to do with these fairly simple tasks that she was required to do (she wanted ME to do it), put in a folder binder, and numbered the tasks like 1 to 12 with tabs. After I finished THE BOOK she marched over to ask the same old shit, I pulled out THE BOOK and said Number 8. She said “Whuh?”. I said look at Number 8. That is what you are required to do based on your job description, work flow, and good practices. Would you like a copy?” She complained to the unit manager. He said I was mean to her. I said no I’m being nice because she is a pretend idiot. You are responsible for her training not me. He agreed to have her ask HIM her stupid repeat questions and it stopped. But she took it to other people who started using THE BOOK!

Why does her hair look like she has on a lunch lady hair net?

          • Mt.Laurel says:

That appears to be her natural hairline and her own hair. She may not have taken good care of her hair over the years and this is one of the reasons I assumed MO wore wigs (which can also cause another set of problems long term) much of the time . Her hair type needs a lot of TLC especially in climates that have drastic temp swings (i.e. Chicago anyone). Combined with age – the hairline will start to look frazzled and develop bare spots. And she may also have inherited the pattern baldness gene. Have often wondered if any one ever suggested she go the shaved head route. She could have carried it off – but would have had to go a very different direction in dressing.

The next issue for the progressives – diversify art collections. Yikes!

    =====

ART MUSEUM SELLS WHITE ART TO BUY BLACK ART

Lots of museum leaders talk about wanting to diversify their collections. Christopher Bedford, the director of the Baltimore Museum of Art, is actually doing it—though not everyone may agree with his tactics.

Next month, the museum is due to sell off seven works from its collection by Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, and other 20th-century titans. The proceeds from the sale of these works by white men—a sum that could exceed $12 million—will be used to create a “war chest” to fund future acquisitions of cutting-edge contemporary art, specifically by women and artists of color.

Reuters Poll: Black Male Approval For Trump Doubles In One Week

Black male support for President Donald Trump doubled in just one week, according to a Reuters poll on presidential approval.

A poll taken on April 22, 2018 had Trump’s approval rating among black men at 11 percent, while the same poll on April 29, 2018 pegged the approval rating at 22 percent. It should be noted that Reuters only sampled slightly under 200 black males each week and slightly under 3,000 people overall.

After not looking at the internet much since this past weekend, the level of crazy, outrage, and hysteria indicates something is about to drop which is making the Dems, socialists, “globalists”, deep-staters, DC trash, et al howl at the moon. I kind of expected some of this before the big DOJ-OIG report but Netanyahu’s expose of Obama’s “collusion” with Iran for their mullah’s very own nukes (and I’m not sure all the little traitors who worked for Bronco got paid yet so major umbrage) has thrown them off kilter. Then Yezee going all crazy and thinking for himself, polling showing younger people not wanting to be broke-ass Dems their whole lives and likeing this Trump economy, the increasingly hysterical identity politics of f’ing prom dresses, and most of the media’s homely goobers looking like they have been pole-axed by the blow back from the nasty thing they trotted out at their frat house pledge party to insult everyone who voted for Trump. The insults, threats, dehumanization, culture wrangling and “expertise” of our betters is all hog wash and that appears to be all they got. This will last all summer into fall. Oh joy. NOT.

Guiliana set her up good. He indicated that Cohen paid the whore and then Trump paid him back. Cohen was authorized to take care of “little things” on his own because Trump was very busy at the time winning a presidential election. No campaign money used. Private settlement. NDA and everything.

This clearly indicates that she and her “legal staff” timed it for maximum leverage to get every nickel she could based on allegations that Trump didn’t have time to litigate and deal with. This is the definiton of extortion. She should be charged with blackmail and racketeering. I would almost suspect Rudy is setting up a lawsuit against her and her disgusting lawyers. And that lawyer may be being blackmailed himself to do this shit. He seems to have stripped a small start-up coffee business of assets (fraudulently!) like a mobster. His creepy ass is in hot water too with the other investors who he stole from.

No. It. Is. NOT. This “porn” star timed her extortion to the exact time in an election cycle when he could afford ZERO distractions. She knew this. Her slime bucket lawyers knew this. And this is what makes it EXTORTION. Cohen was tasked with dealing with the extortionists. Not all of them are about sex. Some are liars about business, or he was mean to them, or fired their stupid junkie asses, etc. Cohen dealt with her. He was authorized to do it. He was paid back. Trump was not notified of it because this….thing of… whatever wanted whatever easy money she could get. And the stupid corrupt lawyers. This is an organized crime style extortion racket run by crooked lawyers and stupid… whatevers who will say anything for $10. Blackmail is a crime run by experts who know when to hit for maximum payouts. If Trump had been losing they would not have bothered. BECAUSE he would sue them back. Evangelicals, who are not dopey hicks, know this stuff. Pastors are sued or blackmailed all the time by nasty “victims”.
