Here We Go Again

Another day, another dog & pony show. On days like this I’m glad I am DMD all day.

And if you’re not sure which dog & pony show I am referring to, pick one. There are always several taking place simultaneously.

At least the circus has clowns.

The heat is really getting to me this year.

The author of this piece seems to have upset a few dog owners.

  3. Myiq2xu™ says:

No, my tv is not on. I ain’t watching that bullshit. But I heard that FOX has a pretty good halftime show planned.

Why is that man not the AG?

    • mcnorman says:

Stzrok is quite the snotty arrogant pr*ck. His tone says it all. Having a kid who works in the swamp…this is how these “we know better than you hicks” crowd feel about us.

    • Lulu says:

This is why one of these men is a mid-management-stooge-flunky and the other is Congressman-Chairman-prosecutor. I am encouraged by the Trump re-organization plan for the federal workforce bureacray as a lot of Strozkfptmzpt’s will be shit-canned as unneeded, low performing and incompetent. I hope 35% of DC loses their jobs in the next 6 years.

Trey Gowdy has that “LOOK” down pat. You know the one you give your kids when they are doing something wrong. You do not have to say a word, the “LOOK” says it all

  7. helenk3 says:

No buddy it is the the allegations that do this, it was you actions that did

  8. Myiq2xu™ says:

The WNBA is putting out a product that nobody wants to buy. This pits the SJWs against human nature. (#science)

  9. helenk3 says:

BTW why is he being represented by an FBI lawyer that we pay, instead of a private lawyer that he has to pay?

Wasn’t Mar-A-Lago also built for Barbara Hutton? It’s a small world.

    • Somebody says:

Close, but no. It was built for Majorie Merriweather Post, heiress to Post cereal. Marjorie was married to E.F. Hutton. E.F. Hutton was Barbara Hutton’s uncle, her father Franklyn Laws Hutton was co-founder of E.F. Hutton.

Barbara’s mother passed away when she was 4 years old. Her father basically abandoned her and for a few years she lived with her aunt and uncle at Mar-A-Lago. She lived with other relatives too and eventually was raised by her governess. Her maternal grandfather founded Woolworth. When Barbara was 12 her maternal grandmother died and Barbara became sole heir to the Woolworth fortune. Her father, although not paternal, did wisely manage her money. When she turned 21 she was one of the wealthiest people in the world, worth about 1 billion in today’s dollars. She died almost bankrupt.

I suppose living at Mar-A-Lago influenced her choices when building her mansion in London… is indeed a small world

Isn’t that the setting for The Omen? Where the nanny hangs herself at Damien’s birthday party?

      • Dora says:

That’s right! It was MM Post. I’m afraid I get these wealthy families mixed up. 🙂

        • Somebody says:

Technically they are the same family Dora. That one family with 3 vast fortunes, Woolworth, Post cereal/General Foods and E.F. Hutton.

          • Dora says:

Lee Merriweather was part of that family too, I believe. She was a Miss America (or Universe) who became an actress for a while. Very pretty woman. I wonder what happened to her.

          • Mt.Laurel says:

Lee is still acting. I used to see her pop up on the Hallmark channel when I still had cable. Has been a regular/semi-regulate on several TV shows/soaps The longest running was probably Barnaby with Buddy Ebsen (a favorite show of both of my parents that we would watch together when I was in jr high/high school). She also has a distinctive voice.

          • Dora says:

Thank you Mt. Laurel. I used to watch Barnaby too. Usually with my Mom. Gosh, how quickly time goes by.

I’m glad Lee is still acting and doing well.

She’s certifiable. That’s a given, but abortion has done a great deal to relieve men of the burden of being responsible for raising children men don’t want. Why would banning abortion make it easier for men to rape women? Talk about leaving behind a DNA trail. What kind of drugs did the company she used to work for make? The stupid is strong in this one. Of course, this is not a mind game women who voted for Trump went through. We’re not mindless idiots.

    • lyn says:

Or, Why don’t women know how to use birth control?

      • Mt.Laurel says:

They have been taught (well more like preached to) that abortion is a valid method birth control. It is very hard to get them to understand this is not the case.

Comment at another site: “Is it just me or is Melania visibly better since her op?”
Funny, I was thinking the same thing yesterday while looking at the Melania photos taken during this trip. For the first time she seems to be enjoying her position as FLOTUS and seems to have a “we are a team”, “us against the world” attitude and “we’re kicking ass”. Or maybe it’s projection on my part but she does seem different.

    • Island Girl says:

Totally agree, almost a “I don’t care, do u” but of coarse she cares. She is outstanding.

did you hear that fng idiot from Tennessee Cohan. according to him storzok deserved a purple heart for going through the questioning.
what an insult to the men and women who serve our country with honor and get wounded doing so.

democrats no longer know the meaning of the word Honor

    • lateblum says:

Rep William Lacy (R-MO) is an utter asshole among other assholes . . . Calling out the Republicans as the ones responsible for the shit show that is taking place. I guarantee that Not. One. Democrat. will get another vote from me. I’ve had this circus on from the beginning. It is obscene. There is such hatred toward the opposition and such fawning over Strzok by the Democrats. They really do not demonstrate love of country, or respect for their colleagues. I think Hank Johnson fro GA is another asshole. Those Ds are all about covering up whatever they can.

Melania looks like a goddess, just now. Beautiful gown.

    Wow! Just wow!

  22. swanspirit says:

Strzok is an arrogant little prick, and he didn’t get that way overnight. Obama must have loved him. The Democrats are not so much delusional, as deliberate. They are trying very hard to make this about Russia, and failing. If they are delusional at al, it is because they believe they can get away with this charade.

  23. helenk3 says:

I have a new hero. Louis Gomart from Texas
when the video becomes available he was awesome, he took no prisoners. called strozk a liar, asked him if he lied to his wife about the affair with the same straight face he is showing when he is telling lies to them

  24. SHV says:

“Strzok is an arrogant little prick, ”
Remember reading awhile ago, a post by a person that went to high school with Strozk….he was an obnoxious, narcissistic, entitled little prick in HS.

  25. lateblum says:

Well, Louie Gohmert, just cause the explosion of the day when he said “…when you looked into your wife’s eyes….” this in relation to Strzok’s honesty.

  27. Dora says:

I’ve been watching the hearing too and also trying to check the news from London.

POTUS and FLOTUS are getting a beautiful reception. I could watch this stuff all day. 🙂

    • swanspirit says:

I adore Melania. She is breathtakingly beautiful and graceful. And it’s absolutely wonderful she started out as an immigrant.
Does anyone else get the feeling that our POTUS isn’t that fond of all the pomp and circumstance? Maybe it reminds him of military school.

  28. SHV says:

Don’t remember reading this in US media, (too busy moving to latest PDJT outrage, I guess)

“Shortly after the last four boys and the 25-year-old coach were brought out Tuesday late afternoon, the water pumps failed in an area between two chambers, filling them with water as 20 rescuers remained inside.

“Suddenly the Australian guy who was overseeing that area started shouting that the water pump had stopped working,” Mr Chaiyananta told AFP.

“If you didn’t use the water pump in that location, you could only come out with an oxygen tank,” he said, adding the remaining people did not have diving gear to hand.”

  29. helenk3 says:

In 2008 I took a good look at today’s democratic party and did not like what I saw. After this hearing today, I despise them.
that purple heart comment just turned my stomach.

  30. Myiq2xu™ says:

I don’t know about the fancy school he went to but at the Fresno Institute of Law and Truck Driving that was a big no-no.

    • Somebody says:

How do you know he did? Does that in your mind disqualify him for SCOTUS. Does it nullify all of his judicial decisions? Does it call into question the validity of his J.D. and/or law license?
